Congratulations… Once again! Earlier this week we posted some Instagram photos from the Santa Barbara wedding of Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan but we didn’t want to deprive you of the official wedding pics, which accompanied this People.com feature on the festivities:

Weddings are usually happy occasions – even if not everything goes according to plan. While L.A. Clippers player Matt Barnes waited for his bride Gloria Govan to walk down the aisle on Sunday, one of their twin boys had a mini-meltdown.

Barnes, 33, posted an Instagram video of his son Carter, 4½, throwing down the flowers he was carrying as he walked across a bed of rose petals ahead of his Basketball Wives star mom.

Despite the tantrum, the rest of Sunday’s celebration at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, Calif., was a happy occasion. “This day will go down in history as one of the greatest days ever!!!” the bride Tweeted before slipping into a strapless Inbal Dror gown for the sunset service.

After a romantic seaside ceremony, the 300 guests – including Carter’s twin brother Isaiah (who completed his journey down the aisle with a smile and flowers in hand), Barnes’s teammates Blake Griffin, Ryan Hollins, Willie Green and groomsman DeAndre Jordan – were treated to an elegant five-course dinner in the resort’s ballroom.

The special day was a long time coming for the couple, who called off their first wedding back in August 2010.

Govan told Vibe of their decision, “Marriage is something that should not be rushed into.”

Another day, another nasty woman messing with young boys!

A 35-year-old woman has been charged with 20 counts of sex assault and s0d0my after she allegedly had an eight-month sexual relationship with an 11-year-old boy, it emerged today.

Sarah Beth Hopkins, from Salem, was arrested on Sunday after the parents of her alleged victim reported her to police.
The boy, now 12, confessed to his mother he had been sexually active with Hopkins for the last eight months.
When Hopkins was confronted she allegedly admitted the sexual abuse.

The family lived at the same apartment complex as Hopkins – who was seen as a trusted family friend – until about two weeks ago, according to KGW.

The mother became suspicious of their close friendship and the amount of time they spent together.

The abuse is thought to have taken place at her apartment and while they were out on long walks together.
Police believe there may be more victims.

Marion County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Don Thomson said: ‘The boy confirmed that he, in fact, had been involved in this relationship with this 35-year-old woman.

‘We’re kind of asking anyone with a male child who may have had contact with Mrs Hopkins, befriended by her, lived near her or whatever, we’d like them to sit down with their son and talk. Make sure everything’s okay.’

When questioned by the deputy, Hopkins is believed to have admitted she and the victim had been sexually active but said she hadn’t threatened the victim or given him anything in return for sex.

Hopkins’ Facebook page includes many suggestive photos of herself, and some along with young boys, along with links to a few different teen websites.

Marion County Circuit Judge Donald Abar read her charges in court yesterday: Three counts of r@pe in the first degree, seven counts of r@pe in the second degree, two counts of s0d0my in the first degree and eight counts of s0d0my in the second degree.

Her bail was set at $1million.

3-Year-Old Boy Is The Lone Survivor After His Entire Family Dies In Fatal Car Crash

A high speed chase outside of Mission, Texas, turned deadly when the driver behind the wheel of a stolen pickup truck slammed into three other vehicles, killing four young children and their mother and father in an SUV, authorities said.

Alton Police Department Chief Enrique Soleto told ABCNews.com that the suspect, identified as Hector Ramirez, 18, of Roma, Texas, smashed into a Chevrolet Suburban with a family of seven inside, as well as two other vehicles, at an intersection in a rural area near Mission, on Monday afternoon.

Six of the seven family members inside the SUV were killed on impact, Soleto said. A 3-year-old boy was the only passenger in the car to survive the crash. The boy was airlifted by helicopter from the scene, Soleto said, but he did not know where he was transported.

Passengers in the other vehicles involved in the crash were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The family members killed in the SUV were identified as Jose Luis Ortiz, 55; Olga Lidia Morales-Cardoza, 35; Elias Ortiz, 1; Fernanda Ortiz, 3; Ricardo Ortiz, 5; and Jose Ortiz, 6; all from Penitas, Texas. The survivor was 3-year-old Jesus Ortiz.

The accident occurred after a Texas Highway patrol sergeant engaged in a high-speed pursuit of stolen truck on Monday afternoon, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.

Ramirez allegedly fled the scene in the stolen pickup after the crash, but was soon caught by the sergeant and taken to a local hospital, according to the DPS.

Girlfriend Of NBA Player Ryan Anderson Dies Following Suicide Attempt

A former Maxim model and past contestant on ABC’s “The Bachelor” has reportedly died following a suicide attempt.

Gia Allemand, who was dating NBA Hornets Pelicans player Ryan Anderson, passed away as a result of severe brain damage and failed organ functions after being placed on life support following her suicide attempt.

Former “Bachelor” contestant Gia Allemand has died in an apparent suicide.

“While in her residency in New Orleans on Monday night, Ms. Allemand was found by her boyfriend, NBA basketball player Ryan Anderson, following an apparent suicide attempt,” her family said in a statement.

Anderson called 911 and Allemand, 29, was taken to University Hospital in New Orleans and put on life support, according to the statement.

“Due to a critical loss of brain and organ function, life support was withdrawn today,” the statement continued. “Ms. Allemand passed away peacefully with her mother, boyfriend, and other life-long friends by her side. As a practicing Christian, Gia did receive the sacrament of last rites.”

Allemand, a Maxim model, was best known for appearing on ABC reality shows “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor Pad” in 2010.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gia’s family and friends during this time of grieving.

German Study Shows Correlation Between Sex And Wages Earned

Having sex often not only impacts your personal life, but your work life as well. A new report found that employees who have sex frequently have significantly higher salaries than those who don’t. The study, done by the Institute for the Study of Labor in Germany, concluded that people who have sex more than four times a week have a 3.2 percent higher paycheck than those who have sex once a week. The link between sexual activity and wages is the highest among employees between the ages of 26 and 50. The report analyzed data was from about 7,500 households in Germany. Participants were asked how often they had sex, how much they make, their age, sexual orientation, if they have any health problems, and about their religion.

People who have sex often seem to be happier and healthier, too. “Sexual activity allows distinct predictions to be made regarding labor market success, since economists consider health status, mental health, and dietary habits/obesity to be crucial variables that influence employees’ wages,” the report said. Personality traits also seem to influence salary. “Wages are higher for those with extraversion and openness traits who are sexually active,” the study found. Sexual orientation, education, and type of job showed no link between wages and sex life.

LAPD Pays $4 Million In Damages To Homeless Couple Wrongfully Shot 11 Times

A homeless couple shot by police during a raid in their southern California makeshift home was awarded more than $4 million this week, after a federal judge found the cops used excessive force when they fired.

The two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Christopher Conley and Jennifer Pederson — who were looking for a wanted parolee — opened fire on the couple when they burst into the wood-framed shack without a warrant in Oct. 2010.

Angel Mendez was shot 10 times in the barrage of bullets and his pregnant wife, Jennifer, was hit once.
“If they would’ve announced, ‘Police, open the door’ I would have came out,” Angel Mendez, who lost his leg as a result from the bullet wounds, told NBC Los Angeles.

But the cops squeezed off 15 shots when the homeless man reached for a BB gun rifle. One of the rounds hit Jennifer Mendez, who recovered from the wound without any harm done to her unborn baby.

“They just continued to fire,” Angel Mendez said.

In a video recorded after the shooting, the wounded man pleads with emergency workers to save him.

“Oh, please, just don’t let me die, sir,” Mendez says in the footage, which was obtained by NBC News.

Of course, LAPD officials deemed the shooting 100% justified

“The individual raised a weapon and pointed it at the deputies,” Whitmore told the news station. “They have to do what’s necessary and in this case, they fired.”

But U.S. District Judge Michael Fitzgerald awarded $3.8 million to Angel Mendez and $222,000 to his wife for the damages, which he said resulted from the cops violation of the couple’s Fourth Amendment rights.

Despite losing his leg, these folks are very fortunate, Mr. Mendez could have lost his life and his wife could have easily lost her baby.

Kim Kardashian’s daughter is only two months old but she is so happy about being a mother that she’s already talking about having baby #2!

The 32-year-old reality star has been hiding out in her home with North West while she bonds with her baby daddy Kanye West and works to get her pre-baby body back.

“She’s told friends that she wants to have another baby soon, within a year,” a source told Life & Style magazine.

“Kim’s a planner and she has always had a timeline in her head. Even before Kanye came into the picture she wanted kids while she’s young.”

Kim gained approximately 60 pounds while pregnant with her daughter and she’s struggling to shed the weight since giving birth.

A source told the magazine that she is hoping to get pregnant again before she loses all the weight.

Kim has started to plan to increase her three person family a source told the magazine.

“Kim is already talking to people about building her brood and is starting to plan.

“Kim wasn’t ready for how totally in love she was going to be with Nori. She can’t believe how much this baby completes her.

After such a difficult pregnancy, Kim was on the fence about having a lot of kids. Now she knows she wants a big family.”

This is good stuff… Wonder if she’ll be like Kourtney and have all these kids before she and Ye tie the knot! Speaking of which. Mr. West was spotted shopping at Cartier this week.

It was a starry, starry night Thursday on Golden Beach when Beyonce and Jay-Z turned up on shore after Mrs. Carter wrapped up a video shoot at the beachfront manse she rented for the occasion. According to our sources on site, police blocked off part of the tony town Thursday. The video was filmed at night, and residents were told if they didn’t film or take pictures during the shoot, Beyonce and her hubby, who’s performing the final leg of his Legends of Summer tour with Justin Timberlake, would come out and take pictures with them afterward. They kept their word and made some peoples’ nights. “Beyonce is beautiful!” gushed one witness. “Both could not have been kinder and more playful with the young kids and teenagers.” Eyewitness Nicole Farchi Segal agreed, saying, “It was an honor meeting them, and they were incredibly nice!”

Wonder which video they were filming? “Runaway Pt. II” perhaps? Bey is performing at V Festival in England today!
