Ever hear of free speech and creative license? That’s what Nick Cannon is probably asking after one super stiff university President tried to force him to apologize over a ‘vulgar’ comedy set. Nick refused. He tweeted to his followers:

In a statement to PEOPLE, the university President confirmed the email and said:
“We believe that Mr. Cannon’s performance raised some valuable, thought-provoking topics in his show. The event took place over our reunion weekend and many older alumni were invited to the show alongside of our current students.”
“Because of the anticipated nature of the audience and the context of being a Catholic university, we asked Mr. Cannon to avoid vulgarity and explicit sexual content in his performance,” said Marbach. “Unfortunately, he repeatedly chose to ignore this request.”

Tina Campbell KNOWs you’re big mad that she voted for Trump and she swears (in Jesus’ name) that she couldn’t care less. The Mary Mary songstress was joined by her sister Erica Campbell on “The Real” today to dish on the final season of their reality show. While there Tina also took time to address the elephant in the room; her crazy azz comments about voting for Trump because of his “Christian values.”
“What I said is if during your campaign what you said appealed to me and it appealed to my Christian values more than the other candidate, then when it comes down to it, I chose based on my faith,” said Tina. “I didn’t really like either one of the candidates if I could just be honest.
But it was two people that had a chance of winning, I voted based on my faith. Do I agree with everything that’s being done and being said? No,” she added.
“Do I promote and advocate that? No. And do I choose to give any of my time about my right to vote and my opinion behind it? Not all so next question.”
She’s also adding that in her letter from February she said that she doesn’t “stand with Trump”, she prays for him.
“I’m a Christian I’m supposed to pray for the leader, stand with does not mean I agree with everything.
Again, she won’t clarify what Christian values she’s speaking of. (Abortion? Gay marriage?) THEREFORE she’s still sounding headazz as hell and she’s still getting dragged.

Commitment-phobe Shondo Blades goes toe to toe with “Million Dollar Matchmaker’s” Patti Stanger about why he’s got multiple kids and baby mamas.
MMA Fighter Blades, who has three kids by two baby mamas, said he was ready to bring Patti into his relationship problems after he failed to find a stable, committed longterm relationship.
“I thought it was time to get some professional help when it came to finding someone I could swag out with,” Blades told BOSSIP. “There’s no secret that I love the ladies and the ladies seem to love me. I was kicking it with different females, and it was difficult to find a woman as you move up the success ladder who has the same drive.”

Congratulations are in order for Jill Scott, the talented vocalist and actress just casted as a DC Comic villain in “Black Lightning”. The beauty will portray Lady Eve. Lady Eve will appear on the CW series as a regular according to Deadline. Salim Akil and Mara Brock Akil will write and executive produce the series, and are excited to have her.
“Jill is an amazing artist who can embody any character and give them an authentic voice that is both nuanced and richly complex. I am excited to see her in the role of Lady Eve,” said Salim Akil.
According to fandom, Lady Eve was a member of the Kobra Cult, who joined Kobra on his secret plan to mind control high officials of the US Army and steal a satellite defense program to blackmail the United States Government. The series “Black Lightning”, Lady Eve presents herself in Freeland as the owner of a funeral parlor, but quickly becomes an adversary to Black Lightning.

Lil Yachty was spotted at the Loudermilk Center for the “Welcome To Atlanta” A3C reception honoring our political analyst bae Angela Rye and Kevin “Coach K” Lee, the QC Label owner behind Migos and Yachty himself.
Yachty looked surprisingly different and had his usually fire-engine red beaded braids fashioned into some french braids.

A judge has set a trial date for DMX’s $1.7 million tax fraud case, although the rapper’s lawyer said a deal may be in play.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, appeared Oct. 5 in Manhattan Federal Court, where his lawyer, Stacy Richman, asked Judge Jed Rakoff for a later trial date because she’d been having “discussions” with the feds on a possible deal.
“We’re happy to set a date in the near future because there are ongoing discussions,” Richman told the judge.
If both sides can’t reach a deal, then DMX will head to trial Feb. 5.
“Please be advised that that date will not move,” Judge Rakoff said. “Don’t even think about it.”
DMX, dressed in a grey sweatshirt, dark blue baggy jeans and Timbs, said nothing during the five minute hearing.

The rapper has been in rehab for the last few weeks after he violated the terms of his bail by testing positive for cocaine. He looked healthier and like he put on about 40 pounds.
“I’m feeling good,” DMX told BOSSIP outside the courtroom.
The feds said DMX knowingly withheld paying taxes for years, and owes some $1.7 million to Uncle Sam. However, the “Slippin” rapper said he was appealing to a higher power.
“It’s in God’s hands,” X said when asked about how the case was progressing. “It’s in God’s hands.”
Outside court, DMX was in happy spirits, and joked with a BOSSIP reporter. “Bossip?!” he asked. “Is that a bloods thing?”

This season’s RHOA Reunion is already gearing up to be lit…and filming hasn’t even wrapped yet. And it’s looking like NeNe and Kim will be supplying the same fireworks they used to back in the day.
