Oklahoma Shooting Witness Allegedly Fed To Hogs
The family of an Oklahoma man is reeling after they say he was brutally murdered and savagely disposed of.
Courtney Palmer is believed to have witnessed a shooting in Tulsa that potentially cost him his life.
Three people were recently arrested in connection with his disappearance and a GoFundMe page has been started.
Police are investigating rumors that a Tulsa man who witnessed a shooting last month is dead and that his body was fed to hogs.
Police say Courtney Palmer witnessed a shooting in south Tulsa on Nov. 8 while high on PCP, KJRH reports.
He was reported missing two days later.
Sgt. Dave Walker told KJRH that the police believe Palmer is dead.
Rumors are circulating that Palmer’s body was fed to hogs in Muskogee County.
However, police have not been able to locate any remains.
Gerald Lowe, Michaela Riddle and Jeannette Thomas were arrested this week in connection to Palmer’s disappearance.
According to KJRH, they are each facing charges of assault and battery with intent to kill, kidnapping and intimidation of a witness.
Police believe Lowe and Riddle beat Palmer to death on Nov. 10, then disposed of his body.

Australian Customer Demands To Be Served By White Employee
A beautiful South Sudanese woman named Josie Ajak recently had a disgusting encounter with racism at the coffee shop she is employed by.
The barista moved to Australia with her parents when she was young and manages the shop in far-north Queensland. Ajak says an Australian woman entered the coffee shop and demanded to be served by a white employee. Oh really?
Josie told Buzzfeed that she politely told the woman this…
“[The woman said] ‘Get me a white lady,’” Ajak told BuzzFeed News. “[I told her] ‘that’s fine’, with a smile, and she moved aside, waiting for a white person. I told my staff that she is racist and that we won’t be serving her, while I continued serving other customers with a smile.”
Josie continued to serve other customers until the woman left. “She looked at me, face angry, looking with [an] evil stare,” said Ajak.
Staff members from the shop have sided with Ajak and says they have no place for racism at their store:

Woman Dragged Off A Delta Flight After Running Past Gate, Demanding Overhead Bin
People have been WILDIN’ on airplanes lately. In the latest case of passengers behaving badly, a Detroit woman had to be literally dragged off a Delta flight by arms after she bum rushed the gate and ran onto the plane according to CBSDetroit.
According to Erica Donerson, Media Relations Manager for Delta Air Lines, the woman involved was taken into custody following the incident Monday.
“At approximately 8 this morning, Delta Air Lines contacted Detroit Metropolitan Airport’s police department requesting assistance with a passenger who would not comply with boarding and baggage check procedures at a McNamara Terminal gate,” Donerson said, in a statement sent by email to WWJ Newsradio 950.
“When officers arrived, Delta Air Lines stated the woman could not remain on board. Despite repeated requests by officers, the woman refused to leave the aircraft and had to be removed. She was arrested and charges are pending.”
She’s gotta be mentally ill or somethin’. Ain’t no way any sane person is going limp and having cops embarrassingly drag them off crowded plane.

Baton Rouge Makes History By Finally Electing Its First Black Female Mayor!
Sharon Weston Broome Becomes First Black Female Mayor In Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge has made history by finally electing its first black woman mayor in 2016. Sharon Weston Broome was formerly state representative and state senator reports Okay Player.
The win came this past Saturday when the East Baton Rouge Parish selected Broome over her opponent Mack “Bodi” White, in a tight race that saw Broome receive 52 percent of the vote. She will succeed fellow democrat Kip Holden, who served for 12 years as the first black mayor of the city.
“Tonight Baton Rouge made a statement, a statement that we are a city of inclusion,” Broome said in her acceptance speech. “That we are a place of hope and optimism. A place where little boys and little girls of all walks of life know that they can grow up and lead a city no matter what their color or gender.”

Yandy Smith is adamant that despite legally being a single woman, she’s STILL Mendeecees’ wife.
As previously reported Yandy shocked LHHNY fans when she revealed that she and her now incarcerated baby’s father aren’t legally married.
“I have a union with Mendeecees but I do not have a partnership with Mendeecees and the government,” said Yandy.
Well now Yandy’s continuing to speak on her “partnership” and she recently told Streetz 94.5 that a piece of paper can’t define their union.
“If the world doesn’t know my commitment level to that mean and think it’s a piece of paper that’s gonna do that—y’all got me ___ up,” said Yandy.
“I can’t really get into too much because it’s a part of my storyline and I’m contracted not to but that’s my baby, that’s my husband, that’s the man I’ve waited for 30-some odd years. That’s my soulmate, I’m here, I’m riding out.”
She also once again slammed the notion that paperwork could define her union.
“We’ve been together forever, that right there was us committing to each other and vowing to each other in front of the world and in front of God,” said Yandy.
“Ya’ll could harp on this piece of paper, that is signed by I don ‘t know know, Donald Trump maybe—y’all think this makes me committed to this man, y’all some damn fools. […] Y’all not gonna tell me how much I love mines.”

Son Agrees To Remove Knight’s Name & Likeness From The Eateries
Gladys Knight and her son have reached a settlement in their family drama that played out in court over the “Gladys Knight Chicken and Waffles” chain of eateries.
The son, Shanga Hankerson, has agreed to remove her name and likeness from all locations by January, and the deal will bring an end to the legal battle.
Back in June, the Department of Revenue accused Hankerson of theft and tax evasion. Federal agents raided three Gladys Knight Chicken and Waffles locations in Georgia and shut down their operations.
The officials alleged Hankerson stole more than $650,000 in sales taxes and withholding taxes owed to the state. The total with penalties and interest exceeds $1 million. Knight had no role in the business and only allowed her son to use her name. Reportedly there are still two locations open in the ATL area.
The singer sued her son and his companies Rival Group, Cascade Foods and Granite Foods following the tax evasion allegations. She claimed to have sent a cease and desist in July but her son has yet to remove her name from the restaurants.

Movie Tells The Little Known Story Of the Brilliant Black Women Who Helped First Astronaut Orbit Earth
Taraji P. Henson and Octavia Spencer said when it came to portraying the brainy mathematicians who helped the first orbit of the earth in their new movie “Hidden Figures,” getting their performances right was key.
“For me, the research part was integral,” Spencer, who played IBM whiz Dorothy Vaughn said. “There were enough negative images of black women out there. I wanted to make sure her legacy was preserved.”
Henson agreed, and said she wanted to make sure she nailed the role of Katherine Johnson, who made the calculations for astronaut John Glenn’s landing – by hand.
“When you’re portraying a person that’s very real – and in this case the woman was still alive – there’s a responsibility to get it right,” Henson said.
The stars joined director Theo Melfi and producer Pharrell at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC over the weekend to promote “Hidden Figures,” which tells the story of three brilliant black mathematicians who battled blatant racism and sexism to play integral roles in the late astronaut Glenn’s orbit around the earth.

In the shadow of the Civil Rights Movement, the women Katherine Johnson (Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) endured racial segregation and a seemingly impenetrable glass ceiling to pull off the country’s first orbital flight. The movie is a part history lesson, part tear-jerking drama and an all around feel good flick.
Film producer Pharrell, who created an original soundtrack, said he was excited to join the film because it was set in his native Virginia, involved the portrayal of positive African American women as well as space and NASA, which he said he’s always been “obsessed” with.
“Yes, I lost my mind,” Pharrell said.
The “Happy” singer said he actually met the Johnson, the film’s main character, at a STEM program event in 2010, and couldn’t believe he now had a hand in telling her life story.
“I met her, but I didn’t know the backstory obviously,” he said. “So to know that six years ago, I met this woman and would one day be able to aid in this beautiful illustration of her story, was just, it’s just been mind blowing.”
“Hidden Figures” opens in select cities on Christmas Day and nationwide Jan. 6, 2017.

While Gabriella claims “the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities” that sounds like a euphemism to save herself some embarrassment.
More evidence of toxicity lies in a judge’s instatement of a restraining order to force Emmanuel to stay away. Gabriella is asking for child support and a “disproportionate share” of those NFL checks Emanuel is cashing because divorce is “his fault”.

Race Matters: Broadway Intern Program Aims To Get More Color On The Great White Way
Broadway League’s Diversity & Inclusion Program Aims To Increase The Underrepresented In Careers In The Theater
She made it big on Broadway as a theater producer, but things weren’t always looking up in Jacquelyn Bell’s life.
The 26-year-old from the suburbs of Orlando, Fl. endured several bouts of homelessness and spent months in a shelter before moving being accepted into a program that prepares young people for careers on Broadway.
Through the Diversity and Inclusion Program, hosted by the Broadway League and the Association of Theatrical Press Agents and Managers, Bell said she learned the ins and outs of a career behind the scenes on the world’s biggest stage, and now enjoys a successful career as a producer and stage manager.
“This initiative was a drastic life change, simply because it opened a door that I thought I never had,” Bell said at a recent luncheon at the famed NYC theater district haunt Sardi’s to celebrate the trainees’ achievements. “It gives a chance for people like me who should’ve grown up as statistics. I’m grateful.”
The little-known program’s mission is to make Broadway a more inclusive place, and it’s where traditionally underrepresented backgrounds intern behind the scenes to learn more about careers in the theater. The work experience has led to full-time jobs for many of the students, Charlotte St. Martin, president of the Broadway League, said.
“Our goal for the initiative is for Broadway to look like our country, where there are people from different backgrounds on stage, backstage and in the audience,” St. Martin said. To date, some 65 interns have participated in the program.
Bell said she worked directly with her theater company director, and the connections she made through the experience led to her first job. She now works at executive producer at Stages Theatre Company in New York.
“The odds were a little stacked and the theater was like my outlet,” she said. “It was my saving grace. The theater kind of saved my life.”
