Woman Takes Limo To Go Shoplifting
A Minnesota woman is making national headlines after authorities says she took a limo to go on a shoplifting spree, then it called it back to take her pilfered goods home.
A woman is accused of taking a limousine to a Rochester business, shoplifting from the store, then calling the limo for a ride back home.
The limo driver was instrumental in helping police find the woman, who allegedly fought with store security before running away with about $300 in headbands and miscellaneous clothing items, said Lt. Jim Evenson.
The case began about 7:15 p.m. Monday, when officers were called to Scheels All Sports sporting goods store, 1220 12th St. SW, for a report of a shoplifter.
As police searched the area for the 22-year-old, the limo driver stopped and asked who they were looking for. When he heard the description, he told officers it might be the woman who’d just called him for a ride back to downtown Rochester.
Law enforcement followed him to the pick-up spot and arrested the woman, Evenson said.
The driver told police the suspect had called earlier to be picked up at the Kahler Grand Hotel and asked to be taken to Apache Mall. After the shoplifting incident, she apparently called for a ride back to the hotel, where she claimed to be staying.
According to the report, the woman is from Moorhead; she told police she was in town as a personal care assistant for someone seeking medical treatment in Rochester.
The Post-Bulletin typically doesn’t identify suspects until they’ve been charged.

The duo took to the city’s Time Lounge where they met with bloggers and photographers to dish on their movie that follows the romance between Leah (Sanaa) and Carter (Michael Ealy) that turns sour after Carter turns out to be a crazed stalker and sociopath.
BOSSIP was on hand for the event and chatted with the stars about real life stalkers and on set fun between Sanaa, Michael and their costar Morris Chestnut.

Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, is leaving the UCLA football program after deciding to end his playing career this week. He’s reportedly expected to remain at the school as a student.
Tracy Pierson of Scout.com reports Broadus didn’t show up for the team’s fall camp and didn’t immediately communicate his decision to the school. Sources told Pierson the receiver started “wanting to do his own thing” at UCLA after being pushed into the football spotlight by his father.
Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports confirmed the incoming freshman’s decision to stop playing football.
UCLA head coach Jim Mora provided a statement Friday, per the team’s website:
Cordell informed me yesterday that he has decided to pursue other passions in his life – in particular his love of film through his company Film School Productions. Cordell is an amazing young man with many talents, and we wish him nothing but the best as he continues to pursue his degree at UCLA.
Broadus and Snoop Dogg starred in a documentary miniseries on ESPN titled Snoop & Son, which chronicled his recruitment process. He ended up choosing UCLA over several other options, including USC, his dad’s favorite team.
His decision to walk away from the football field is a surprising one. He checked in as a 4-star prospect and was ranked as the No. 26 wide receiver in the class of 2015, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Clearly this kid’s heart wasn’t in it, hopefully he can prosper in school and find his calling in life.

ISIS claim that rape is part of their twisted interpretation of Islam, according to the testimony of children they have abducted and forced into sexual slavery.
The Yazidis are a religious minority in Syria and Iraq and are oppressed and terrorised by the terror group- a total of 5,270 Yazidis were abducted last year, and more than 3,000 are still in their grip, according to figures within the community.
A 12-year-old girl who escaped the group told the New York Times that the man who abused her explained to her that the sickening act he was about to commit was not a sin because she was not Muslim.
In fact, he claimed her faith not only gave him the right to rape her – but encouraged it.After tying her up and gagging her bound her, he knelt beside the bed and prayed. Afterwards, he prayed again.
The girl, who was interviewed in a refugee camp, said: “I kept telling him it hurts – please stop.
“He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God.”
Zainab Bangura, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, say sexual violence in the lands controlled by ISIS is widespread and used as a weapon of terror.
“Girls are literally being stripped naked and examined in slave bazaars,” she said, describing how they were “categorized and shipped naked off to Dohuk or Mosul or other locations to be distributed among ISIL leadership and fighters.”
These stories are absolutely heartbreaking. Thousands of women! Imagine all the 12 and 14 year old girls being forced to have sex FIVE TIMES A DAY against their will!

According to TMZ reports:
Terrence Howard broke down on the stand today when he testified he signed a settlement agreement with his wife because she threatened to release medical information that would make it impossible for him to ever work in Hollywood again.
Howard was referring to a conversation he taped when Michelle Ghent was on the phone threatening to telling various people he had an STD.
He also testified he felt pressure to sign the settlement agreement — giving her an unusually large sum of money — because she threatened to release a sex tape featuring him and another woman.
Howard blew his nose as he fought back tears on the stand, taking deep breaths as he testified.
He’s trying to undo the settlement — giving her $5,800 a month in spousal support and a chunk of his “Empire” earnings — on grounds he signed the doc under extreme duress.
The game is filthy out here. He was supposed to hit her with a prenup. SMH.

The 10-year-old terror arrested for robbing an elderly woman and trying to set a Brooklyn store on fire was well on his way to becoming one of the youngest gang members in the city, officials said.
A Brooklyn Crips set is recruiting the 10-year-old, and the arson at a Deals Discount store on Clarkson Ave. in East Flatbush on Tuesday was some kind of initiation, police sources said. That’s pretty much unheard of, according to NYPD Assistant Commissioner Kevin O’Connor of the Juvenile Justice Division.

“It’s uncommon to hear a 10-year-old in a gang,” O’Connor said. “It’s not uncommon to hear that kids are being influenced by them.”
Violent gangs and street crews were responsible for 60 of the 161 murders — about 37% — during the first half of the year. They were also tied to 283 — or about half —of the 569 shootings that occurred over the same time period, police said.

Florida Police Union Starts Smear Campaign Against Young Woman Who Posted Video Of Beating
We’ve told y’all time and time again to be careful about what you put on social media. Here is a prime example of how crooked a** cops will try to place the blame on black people when they’re the ones out here doing wrong.
According to Raw Story:
A Florida woman who posted video of a Miami cop beating a black teenager in the back of police cruiser has found herself under attack by the Miami Fraternal Order of Police, reports the Washington Post.
Pushing back against social media — described as having placed a very negative tone on law enforcement nationwide” — the Miami Fraternal Order of Police union handed out the name and some purported Facebook photos of Marilyn Smith who posted the video of the cop assault taken by her friend Shenitria Blocker.
The video, which has since gone viral, shows an unidentified officer beating a suspected pot suspect in the back of a police cruiser, before another officer tried to yank the recording device from Blocker’s hand.
According to Blocker, police told her to delete the video or she would be arrested. Instead she shared the video with Smith who then posted it to her Facebook page, leading to an investigation and suspension of the officer.

In a statement to the press, Union President Lt. Javier Ortiz defended the officer saying he was “protecting our community,” before criticizing the public for using social media to shine a light on police abuses by adding, “social media has placed a very negative tone on law enforcement nationwide.”
Along with the the statement the Union also handed out screenshots taken from Smith’s Facebook page showing her with black men holding guns.
“What is extremely concerning is that the poster of this video (aka Facebook Marilyn Smith) has photographs of her with young men armed with handguns. It seems that no one cares to address this. Social media has focused so much on #blacklifematters [sic] /alllifematters campaigns, yet nobody targets the root of the problem our community faces today,” the statement read.
“If the police officer has done something not within policy, it must be corrected. With that said, there is a much more serious message by this video poster. Our community has accepted behavior that motivates violence in our younger generation. It’s time for the community to take a stand against this reckless behavior and stop the violence. As the saying goes: It takes a village to raise a child. Guns don’t belong in the hands of children. It is the responsibility of our stakeholders that live in our community to stop that from occurring in the first place.”
Smith has taken her Facebook page down while the case is still being investigated.
Damn shame. These bozos try to deflect their wrongdoing by shaming people… But what do you think about the argument that violence in the community and the glamorization of guns is at the root of the problem. Is that a fair assessment???
