Janelli Caceres Says “Devils Ruined My Family”
The anguished wife of Lionel “Chinx Drugs” Perkins pleaded for justice in her man’s death and wondered how she’d go on without him.
“My son is asking for his dad, he wants him to come home, he keeps asking why did God’s angels take his dad and when are they bringin him back,” Janelli Caceres said in a series of Facebook posts Monday. “What do I say to him!! To see this sadness in him is killin…These Devils ruined my family they took a father away from his kids from his son that he loved to death…why??!”
Chinx and pal Antar “Yemen Cheese” Alziadi were driving overnight Saturday on Queens Blvd. in the rapper’s new Porsche when an unknown gunman fired several rounds of gunfire at the vehicle. The Coke Boy was later pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
The mother of three revealed that she had to identify Chinx’s body and that she was with him at their home on the night of his murder.
“I just want to hear your voice one more time,” she said. “ I can’t close my eyes without seeing ya cold face lay there lifeless while I prayed u would jus wake up! I know u felt all my kisses and heard all my I love you’s! The only thing holding me together is knowing we were soo happy lately the smile on ya face last night before u left will always be a memory I won’t ever forget.”
Caceres, meanwhile, said she doesn’t know how she’ll go on.
“Dammm baby how Ima do this without you!!” she wrote. “Life will never be the same. Half my life I have to you. I’ll never get rid of ya clothes I’ll never let anyone think that they can replace u. I don’t know how I can go on with life.”
Caceres also said Chinx’s relationship with Malika Haqq was little more than a showmance for money. She said she’d been his number one since they were teenagers.
“I held on to this man for so many years thru so much bs cuz I couldn’t imagine life without him and a coward took him from me,” the wife wrote. “All he wanted to do was make a way and win so we as a family can be great.”
The 29-year-old Caceres even created a Change.org petition to force one down market website to take down an article she said lied about the nature of Chinx and Haqq’s relationship.
“He wasn’t no fckn Malik’s (sic) boyfriend he was my husband of 13yrs!!!,” she wrote on Change.org. “They need to take this s**t down.”
