DJ Khaled Dropped A Star-Studded Single That’s Heating Up The Summer
Asahd, did the vocals come in yet?! Yesterday, DJ Khaled and his son, executive producer Asahd Khaled, dropped the second single from the highly anticipated Grateful album. Quavo, Lil Wayne, Chance The Rapper and Justin Beiber joined forces to give us the summer jam “I’m The One.” The song is already #1 in 27 countries and Top 5 in 17 countries. The accompanying music video is set at an elaborate mansion, adorned with bottles, women and a lot of floral print. Six-month-old Asahd also makes a cameo.
DJ Khaled had already prepped us for the album’s star studded line-up and he’s staying true to his word. We first got a taste with “Shining” featuring Queen Bey herself and songwriter hall-of-famer, Jay-Z. Did Kris Jenner Press Pause On ‘Rob And Chyna’?
Sources at Radar Online say momager Kris is ‘punishing’ her son and his on and off girlfriend, Blac Chyna. She’s allegedly pumping the breaks on a major check for the couple, the ‘Rob And Chyna reality spinoff.
“Kris is controlling everything,” a source close to the family told Radar about the reason why Rob & Chyna hasn’t started filming Season Two of their hit reality show. “It’s all politics and it is bizarre. That show got huge ratings. ‘KUWTK’ is tanking in the ratings. It should be a no brainer for Kris, but it isn’t.”
So despite having great ratings, Kris is allegedly pressing pause? Sounds like someone is rethinking their “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” philosophy. Last year, the Kardashian family tried hard to act like they accepted Chyna. In recent episodes you can tell the family is annoyed by her. They’re begging Rob to leave her on national TV.

Kanye’s been off the radar a bit for the last few months after getting spotted out in Hollywood with rainbow bright bleached hair. He was notably M.I.A. for the last two weekend’s Coachella festivities, and it’s normally a stop he makes every year if he’s not otherwise engaged.
Sources tell RadarOnline that Kanye’s still a bit more shaken up from his meltdown incident than anyone in his camp wants to let on, and it’s manifesting in some pretty paranoid behavior.
“He’s not right in the head and he’s under the delusion that he’s a target.”
And that thought has snowballed into Kanye hiring armed guards, rolling in armored cars, and even rocking a bullet proof vest every time he leaves the house:
“He has nightmares of being hit by bullets — he wears the bulky gear even when it’s just out for dinner!”
SMH! Granted, there have been literally NO pictures of Kanye spotted out in the streets rocking bulletproof gear. And even if so…who’s to say that’s not some Yeezy Season 6 piece he’s street testing for his next line?

Find Out Why Netflix’s New Series Is Raising Red Flags

13 Reasons Why debuted as an original Netflix series last month and the world has not stopped talking since. While fans can’t get enough of the transparently vulnerable cast, there have been some concerns with the show’s graphic content. There are vivid scenes depicting sexual assault, bullying, underage drinking and much more, all intertwined with a slew of profanity. This prompted New Zealand to institute a brand new rating category just for “13.”
According to E! News, New Zealand’s Office of Film & Literature Classification has recategorized 13 as RP18, meaning they are aware that teens will continue to watch the show.They just strongly suggest that parents/caregivers discuss the material with the teens as well.
Matching growing concern, school systems in Canada have banned any discussion of the series on their campuses for safety reasons.

Aaron Hernandez Toxicology Report Found No Trace Of Synthetic Marijuana Or Any Other Drug
Turns out Aaron Hernandez wasn’t under the influence of any substance at the time of his suicide.
Despite reports that the former football star had been under the influence of K2 or synthetic marijuana, official toxicology done on his body reveal that there were no drugs in his system at all. Via Daily Mail:
Sources told WCVB on Saturday that tests performed as part of Hernandez’s autopsy showed he hadn’t used any illegal drugs or synthetic marijuana ‘K2’.
It had previously been alleged that traces of K2 could have be found in Hernandez’s kidney stream after he hung himself in his cell at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts earlier this month.
The toxicology results came around the same time Hernandez’s close jailhouse friend and alleged lover Kyle Kennedy said he would not be surprised if the synthetic drug played some part in his death, according to the Boston Herald.
But apparently, even that quote was even misconstrued:
Kennedy’s lawyer Larry Army Jr said: ‘One of the things he said to me is, “I wouldn’t be surprised if that had something to do with this because that stuff is bad news.'”
Good to know, we guess. But it still begs the question as to why he had scribbled bible verses all over his head before taking his life. There’s no telling where his mind was at the time.

Famed TV Series “Roseanne” Is Making A Comeback!
Word On The Street Is…
According to US Weekly, the 90’s sitcom, “Roseanne”, could be making a major comeback. Sources claim that an eight-episode mini-series is currently being shopped around to various streaming services. Roseanne Barr and her TV family are game for a reunion as long as they have “a good story to tell.” Incidentally, this is perfect timing for the cast, seeing as “Roseanne’s” 20-year anniversary is approaching in May.
During it’s nine-season tenure on ABC, “Roseanne” won four Emmy’s and three Golden Globes. With that being said, there’s little doubt that a revival wouldn’t be received well by loyal fans worldwide.
“Roseanne fans are the best in the world who have pushed for this for years. If it does happen, it is a credit to their passion and dedication,” Michael Fishman, who played DJ, told US Weekly.

Guess The Crime: South Carolina Arrest Goes Viral Thanks To Suspects Scary Mugshot
This May Be The Scariest Mugshot Of All Time
We’ve seen a lot of crazy mugshots, but this one might top them all. The frightening face you see depicted belongs to 24-year-old Morgan Joyce Varn who was arrested on charges of kidnapping, armed robbery and property damage in Lancaster County, S.C, according to NY Daily News reports.
In case you’re having a hard time seeing — Varn’s whites of her eyes are completely black and she’s got tattoos all over her head and neck.
Varn was arrested following a SWAT incident near Indian Land, S.C. She was found armed in her home last Monday, after robbing a man who claims to know her, taking his money and cellphone after inviting him inside. 23-year-old Jonathan Mikael Robinson was also taken into custody and a stolen pistol was recovered from the scene.
Robinson was charged with kidnapping, armed robbery and weapons charges. Varn remained in the Lancaster County jail Friday without bond.

Ja Rule Reportedly Warned A-Listers Not To Attend Fyre Festival
There’s more fallout coming from the disastrous Fyre Festival and Ja Rule’s at the center of it.
As previously reported Ja and his fellow organizers behind the Fyre Fest were EVISCERATED over their “luxury private island escape” that turned out to be a tent-filled, cheese sandwich serving DISASTER.
Now according to Page Six, there’s a possibility that Rule and co-Fyre Fest organizer Billy McFarland KNEW that things would go south and warned A-Listers not to attend. Furthermore they both allegedly “took off” when things went left.
“They called all the A-list names and the modeling agencies and told them not to come,” says a source to PageSix. “They were just like, ‘Oh, come next weekend when all the kinks have been worked out.’ This was before the chaos even started.”
[…]While guests are still trapped at the event — which has been described online as “the Hunger Games but with less luxury” — and are desperately trying to get back home, “Everybody who was organizing the festival took off,” says the source. “They abandoned it. They put up a sh—y stage, took millions of dollars, and then left everybody stranded. It was like a scene out of that movie ‘Exodus.’ There were people with bags, not knowing what to do. I feared for people’s safety, it got so bad.”
Messy, messy, messy. Ja Rule previously apologized for the chaos but has remained mum on the fest ever since. As for Billy McFarland, PageSix says he reportedly partied carefree on a yacht Thursday while other people suffered.

After holding on to her 17-year marriage, Rasheeda might be seriously considering a divorce. The “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star recently appeared on “The Real” to discuss her marriage and admitted that while she still loves Kirk, she has to “draw the line.”
“It’s difficult. Things happen and you’re not like ‘okay, I’m done with you; It’s over!’ We have a lot of history, we have children, we have businesses – I grew up with this man. Unfortunate things happen in a relationship and marriage is work; It’s a lot of work. The ups, the downs, the goods, the bad, it’s a lot of work.
But at the end of the day, you’ve put me in this situation… and as much as I want to strangle you and choke yo a**…. I love you, though. It doesn’t just turn off like that. But you have put me in a place where I have to draw the line.”
She also confessed that they’re currently separated and living apart and had THIS to say about the possibility of Kirk really being Jasmine Blue’s baby daddy.
“Well, I damn sure ain’t paying no woman… Or having no parts of no damn child support – you better believe that.”
We can’t blame Rasheeda for being totally against paying child support for the baby. Just the other day Jasmine said that Kirk wanted her to keep the child after she told him she was pregnant.

Veteran News Anchor Steps Down Over “News Ni**a” Social Media Exchange
11 Alive Reporter Resigns After Calling Herself A “News N-Word”
Yikes… this is super jacked up. A woman with 18 years experience as a journalist and news anchor is out of a job after using the n-word during an online exchange on social media.
Veteran 11Alive reporter Valerie Hoff recently resigned according to Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports, two weeks after calling herself a news ni**a in a DM to a black man on Twitter that he posted online.
The incident occurred April 13, when @curtfromdablock (Curtis Rivers) posted footage of a white police officer punching a black driver on his Twitter account. Rivers posted on twitter than a number of “news ni**as” were trying to track him down for the video. Hoff reached out to Rivers via DM attempting to get permission to use his footage for a breaking news story but it all went left when Huff used Rivers’ terminology and he noted that she was white and wasn’t sure if she was calling him the n-word.
“I was quoting something the gentleman said in a public tweet back to him in a private message but that doesn’t make it any less offensive,” Hoff wrote the AJC in an exclusive message. “It was incredibly stupid and reckless. I was in the middle of a pressure-filled day trying to chase down the video of a man being beaten and kicked by two Gwinnett police officers, which this particular gentleman had posted on twitter. I repeatedly apologized and continue to do so. I also offered to resign immediately.”
Her boss John Deushane offered this message: “11Alive does not tolerate any form of racial insensitivity and aggressively enforces our standard policies. We acted promptly to address this situation. Valerie Hoff has chosen to resign and apologizes for her actions.11Alive is committed to treating the communities we serve with dignity and respect.”
“I look forward to being a stay-at-home mom,” Hoff added, “and working on my Food and Travel Blog, ValerieHoff.com this summer.”
SMH. White folks when will you learn? Never ever, ever, ever, ever say ni**a, ni**er or anything close to it! Hoff worked at 11Alive since 1999 and had worked for CNN for eight years prior to that. She was an Emmy-winning reporter.
And now she’s a stay-at-home mom. Sheesh.
