The Carters Opening LA Restaurant

As if the Carters didn’t have enough money already…the two are reportedly jumping into a new business venture.

Love B. Scott exclusively reports that sources close to the couple confirm that they have purchased the location of the former Cat and Fiddle on Sunset Blvd and are currently re-developing the site with their own unique culinary vision.

As for the cuisine, the theme, and the name of the new food spot these two are opening…we have no clue. In true Carter family fashion, the details are being kept under wraps, and we’ll know as soon as they decide we need to know.

But to give you a better idea of what it could look like, sort of, here’s what Cat and Fiddle’s outdoor area looked like:

There’s definitely a lot that they could do with the space! And just by virtue of the spot being associated with them, we know there will be a line around the block to get in the moment they’re open for business.

Nicki Minaj clarified her clapback to Remy Ma…and dug into the beef even deeper with her latest IG posts.

First, Nicki made sure fans caught some extra lines she had for Remy on her track with Lil Wayne “Changed Up,” that may have gotten lost in the shuffle of “No Frauds” hype.

But just to drive the point home, Nicki posted the lyrical breakdown of her Remy diss verse…and explained that she was too busy being booked and fulfilling paid obligations (and high-end socializing) in Paris to bother responding to the Bronx-bound “peasant.” She also challenged her to make a chart-topper by the end of the weekend…or book an interview where the topic of discussion isn’t Nicki.

The interwebs are still buzzing about Ciara minding her own business and posting a pregnancy pic of her partially undressed family flaunting her baby bump.

With a barrage of ashies and crusties whooping and hollering about Future being “another man’s child” and whatnot…it looks like Russell was feeling he pressure.

Russell posted an outtake of the same shoot featuring the whole family and his hands wrapped around CiCi’s bump…and yes, there was a version of the photo in which Lil Fewtch had a pair of pants on around his Stepfather. Are yall happy now?

Bronx Rapper’s New Single “Celine” Featuring Tory Lanez

Mr. Papers is back on New York’s music scene after a Miami sabbatical to clear his head from clashes with his daughter’s mother, Lil’ Kim.

Mr. Papers spent nine months in “retirement” in Miami after fighting with Lil’ Kim, and Papers – real name Jeremy Neil – is back in New York City producing new music.

“I was tired,” the 28-year-old told BOSSIP. “I had to clear my mind, get my mind right, so now, we good.”

He said he’s got a new support team, and is focused on putting New York hip-hop back on the map and co-parenting his little girl, Royal Reign, two.

“I left out of frustration because me and my baby mama were going through it,” Papers explained. “We ended up fighting and I ended up leaving for Miami…But, we’re good now.”

The Bronx rapper said he’s now in a better place with Lil Kim, but that’s not stopping him from seeking joint physical custody of the girl.

“I’m going for her,” he said. “I just had to get myself situated.”

Papers said he has been back in New York since Christmas, and just released his trap-inflected new single, “Celine,” featuring singer Tory Lanez. The father said “Celine” is off of his new album “Transition,” which drops this spring, and has artists on it like Kevin Gates and Tank. He said he also has plans to collaborate with Fat Joe, Jeremih and Tony Yayo.

“It’s like my favorite song,” he said of “Celine.” “It’s hot, and he’s a talented young man…It’s cool. It’s a real summertime banger.”

Hazing Fraternity Drama “Burning Sands” Was Released March 10 On Netflix

Actress Adriyan Rae tackles a serious, and often taboo subject in her new movie “Burning Sands.”

The film, which stars Alfre Woodard, Steve Harris and Trevor Jackson, tells the story of a young man pledging a fictional African-American fraternity, and the horrors of the hazing that he has to endure.

“The main character is going on line for a fraternity, and he has to decide if what he has to go through is worth it,” Rae told BOSSIP. “It’s a movie about fraternities, brotherhood and trying to promote non-hazing.”

Rae said that although the film has intense scenes and has faced some backlash from people in frats and sororities, the movie sheds light on the hazing problem that is still occurring on college campuses around the country.

“I know there’s a lot of controversy behind it,” Rae said, adding that the director is a member of Omega Psi Phi. “Let’s bring light to it so people don’t have to go through it. People are literally dying over this.”

In the movie – which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January – Rae plays Candy, a feminist whose best friend is the sexually free Toya, a love interest.

The actress said she’s proud of the fact that the movie doesn’t portray it’s black female characters as monolithic, and said she was thrilled to work with Woodard, who gave her pointers on making it in the film industry.

“She told me what to do with acting, how to uphold my morals in the industry,” Rae said. “She was so sweet, so wise, I can’t say enough positive things about her. It was great working with her.”

Rae said now she’s got a few projects in the pipeline, but was coy on specifics.

“There are things that are in talks and in the works, but I can’t let the cat out of the bag yet!” she said.

LAPD Would Like Chris Brown To Come To The Front Of The Congregation

The LAPD has had enough of Chris Brown and so have his neighbors.

According to TMZ, the boys in blue would like Breezy to come down to the station so they can explain ALL the complaints against him and how is making life Hell for everyone including them.

He has little respect for his neighborhood and even less for the cops. It’s said that there are a bevy of complaints against him including:

-Noise
-Drugs
-Assault
-Riding his vehicles recklessly

Cops main reason for wanting to come to an understanding with Chris is because he’s keeping them from servicing the community:

“Chris is a chronic problem who takes up a tremendous amount of our resources.”

It should be stated that there is not a warrant for Chris’ arrest, nor is he obligated to speak to the cops.

Azealia Banks Once Sliced Her Own Sister With A Box Cutter

It’s come to the light that among her many arrests and run-ins and general disturbing behavior, Azealia Banks was once taken into police custody for slicing her sister up with a box cutter.

According to NYDN, Azealia slashed her sister in the “neck, the arm and the hand” back in April 2009. The circumstances leading up to the rapper slicing up her sister remain unclear right now…but given her history we seriously doubt it took much to push her to that point.

The incident came to light as prosecutors in the trial over last year’s breast-biting fight outside Up & Down in NYC have begun to strengthen their case against Azealia. Lawyers want to paint the (seemingly accurate) picture that she is confrontational and violent, as evidenced by the multiple physical fights and aggressive incidents she’s gotten into over the past few years.

Azealia plans to take the stand in her own defense…provided she ever shows up to court in the first place.

We seriously believe this one needs some psych help before it’s too late…

Muhammad Ali Jr. Was Again Detained Over His Muslim Name As He Was Leaving D.C.

It’s been exactly 14 days since Muhammad Ali Jr was accosted by immigration authorities at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after returning from Jamaica with his mother. Ali was interrogated for 20 minutes over his religion and name.

Today, the AP is reporting that Ali was AGAIN stopped and questioned by authorities who wanted to confirm is true identity prior to letting him onto the flight.

Ironically, Ali was stopped as he was leaving Washington, D.C. following a meeting with lawmakers about his experience being detained and question LAST month in Fort Lauderdale!

Says the family lawyer Chris Mancini:

“None of this was happening Wednesday,” Mancini said in a telephone interview Friday afternoon as he was traveling with the Alis. “Going to Washington obviously opened up a can of worms at DHS.”

Florida Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz just happened to be aboard Ali’s flight and had some comments about his poor treatment on Twitter:

Trump Administration Disrespectful In Handling Of U.S. Attorneys

SMH.

The Justice Department announced the resignation of 46 U.S. attorneys this week, all of whom were in association with the Obama administration, with out personally notifying all of them. It’s common that any attorneys nominated during a former administration step down or resign after a new President takes office, but what’s unique about this is that no one communicated with them about how and when it would happen. Many of the attorneys found out through media sources.

The Justice Department announced the firings Friday and prosecutors confirmed they were not notified before it became publicized, according to CNN. Many are criticizing the classless act. Reportedly, acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente was in the beginning stages of calling each US attorney individually to tell them they had to resign when the DOJ issued a statement. Wow, what a pathetic way to treat our own. Not even a text message??? Foul.

Man Arrested For Trespassing On White House Property Late Last Night

He just wanted to see the President. What’s the big deal?

CNN is reporting that a man wearing a backpack was arrested late last night after he scaled a White House fence en route to pay a visit to Donald.

The tangerine chief was on the property at the time.

When asked about he purpose for trespassing on White House property, the man told Secret Service:

“No, I am a friend of the President. I have an appointment,” the suspect said when approached by an officer, according to a report released Saturday by the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department.

Asked how he got there, the suspect told officers: “I jumped the fence.”

Here’s how well the Secret Service does their job, this guy reportedly jumped the Treasury Building fence, but was not detected until he was seen by an agent who happened to be on the grounds.

Now, here’s an ironic joke:

The White House was placed under security condition “orange,” one of the highest levels of security for the Secret Service, an agency source said.

LMFAO!

All this guy wanted to do was “see” the President? Ya know? The same way some of us want to “see” George Zimmerman.

Dashcam Footage Of Alabama Police-Involved Shooting Released

3 years ago, airman Michael Davidson was shot by Opelika, Alabama police officer Phillip Hancock. According to DailyMail, Officer Hancock claims he mistook Davidson’s wallet for a firearm and felt like he had to put Davidson down.

Since then Officer Hancock has been cleared of all wrongdoing. Yesterday, after 1,095 days, the dashcam footage from the shooting has been released.

What do you think? Did Davidson put himself in a bad spot by getting out of the car wallet-in-hand, or was Officer Hancock just too eager to pull the trigger?
