If I were Sherri Shepherd, with not one but two husbands trying to stick me for my paper, I might have popped off publicly a long time ago.

But for the most part, Sherri has kept her cool, choosing to take the high road and let the courts settle any disputes she may have had with her most recent ex-husband Lamar Sally. Yesterday was a different story, though. Probably riding high off of her recent victory in a California court, Shepherd took to Twitter to vent her frustrations.

Killer Mike To Host Huffington Post Podcast, Offers Advice To White Liberals Scared Of Trump

Killer Mike has gained another platform to get his points across. The Run The Jewels rapper will be hosting a podcast on Huffington Post about reconstruction.
HuffPo has yet to make an official announcement about the upcoming show, but they did reveal plans for it in a feature about the Atlanta rapper. The yet-t0-be named show will cover modern reconstruction in America, comparing the era after the Civil War to the times we are living in now with President Trump beginning his tenure.
“Instead of worrying, just understand you’re going to be living in a Southern state for the next four years,” Mike recently told a crowd in Washington D.C. at a Run The Jewels show. “Your cousins who live in Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee or Florida ― you might wanna call ‘em.”

Mary Tyler Moore Dead At 80

Welp, we’re only 25 days into 2017 and we are continuing to lose legends.

Mary Tyler Moore has died at a Connecticut hospital according to TMZ.

Moore’s rep, Mara Buxbaum released this announcement:

“Today, beloved icon, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away at the age of 80 in the company of friends and her loving husband of over 33 years, Dr. S. Robert Levine.”

“A groundbreaking actress, producer, and passionate advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Mary will be remembered as a fearless visionary who turned the world on with her smile.”

Reports are that Moore had been on a respirator for over a week and had been battling diabetes as well as recovering from a years old brain surgery.

Mary was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1986 and is part of old school Hollywood royalty.

Keke Palmer Plans To Press Charges Against Trey Songz

Keke Palmer is going to get justice!

We previously reported that the ‘Scream Queens’ actress recently blasted Trey Songz for using unauthorized footage of her in his latest music video.

Keke claims she was invited to a party by Trey in Miami but was pressured into being in his video while under the influence.The star claims she told Trey that she didn’t want to be in the video but was filmed against her knowledge:

“Come on bruh, I clearly said no and you said okay, yet I was being secretly filmed when you told me “let me just show you the idea”?? Wow. This is what I’m referring to in my previous post, this is the sexism and misogyny I refer to because if I was a dude, he wouldn’t have even tried me like this. Let this be a lesson to all, I’m not for the bullshit. I’m serious about my business and you will not use my likeness without MY permission.”

Palmer posted this image and message after a photo of her in Trey’s video hit Twitter:

Keke sat down with Larry King to discuss the traumatic incident and says she will press charges against Trey for committing “sexual intimidation” while at the party:

The actress tells King that she will have to press charges:

“I mean, it’s out and it’s over but I feel more so my point, it’s not just specifically about this person, this guy or what he did. It’s the overall idea that you can’t just do stuff to people and it’s all right. No matter who you are.”

Do you think Keke has a strong case? The music video has been taken down since she aired her grievances but Palmer says she’s not done getting justice.

Chili Dog Fight Leads Step-Father To Murder Step-Son In Front Of Mother

An argument over a chili dog has lead to a man’s untimely demise in a state where anything and everything heinous is possible…Florida.

According to the Daytona-Beach News Journal, a 68 year old step-father (Danny Holder) has been arrested for the murder of his 55-year-old step-son (Randall Lowen) after the two men got into a heated argument over the classic cookout fare.

Based on the report, Holder shot his 55-year-old stepson in the face as Lowen spoke to his mother Jackie Holder in the kitchen of their residence at the 6500 block of Shahab Lane on Monday about 8 a.m. The three, and an older brother Michael Lowen, share the house.

But family members said Monday that Holder and Lowen drank and argued “regularly.” In a phone interview Monday, Michael Holder said the men got along, “as long as they’re not drinking.”

Well, we’re not sure if they drink tequila for breakfast around the Holder-Lowen household, but Tuesday morning, the arguments persisted:

Tuesday morning as Lowen was getting ready to go to work on his landscaping business, he and Holder got into another argument. Lowen asked Holder what time it was and Holder responded, “You have a clock on the nightstand. Look for yourself,” the report states.

At that point, Lowen went to the kitchen where Jackie Holder was standing and she asked her son what the argument was about this time. Lowen began mimicking his stepfather and Holder walked into the kitchen and pulled out a gun, the report states. Jackie Holder told Lowen to run; she heard two loud bangs and watched as her son crumpled to the floor, the report states.

Minnesota Cop Faces Misdemeanor For Punching 14-Year-Old Girl

A St. Paul cop is on paid leave after he punched a 14-year-old girl TWICE in the face for spitting on him.

A teen who was described as being upset, possibly suicidal and in need of psychiatric help, allegedly spat in the face of officer Michael Soucheray who then punched her and called her a “f*** b***.”

The Washington Post reports:

St. Paul Police Officer Michael Soucheray and his partner, Chris Rhoades, were sent to defuse the situation at Brittany’s Place, a shelter for girls on the east side of the Minnesota city in December.

But the teenager “became agitated,” a criminal complaint says, and she gave officers and shelter staff the silent treatment.

Then she cleared her throat and spat in Soucheray’s face, the complaint and the officer’s attorney say.

Soucheray, a seven-year member of the police department, balled up his fist and punched the girl in the face, the complaint says. Then he did it again.

He grabbed her by the jaw and called her “f—— b—-,” according to the complaint.

On Monday, Soucheray was charged with fifth-degree assault, a misdemeanor that could land the officer in prison for 90 days.

And the officer’s punch in the back of a patrol car has embroiled another Twin Cities police department in the heated national debate about police use of force.

Soucheray is on paid administrative leave, as his police department conducts an internal investigation, according to his department’s Facebook page.

Wow, only a misdemeanor? A rep for the officer says he was protecting himself from possible diseases when he punched the 14-year-old.

Reggie Bush’s Wife Lilit Avagyan Struggling With His Infidelity

Earlier this week we reported that Monique Exposito, the woman allegedly 8 months pregnant with Reggie Bush’s love child is facing a divorce from her husband Alexandre Bastin, where Bastin names Bush as the father of Exposito’s child in legal documents.

A rep for Bush previously told TMZ the baby allegations were “rumors” and noted he’s still “happily married” but we couldn’t help but wonder about that. Reggie has been posting happy family photos for months now, from the holidays, New Years and even today…

But Lilit hasn’t posted anything in almost three months.

Leading us to wonder if she’s considering divorce…

This Nashville School Board Member Deserves A Raise For Trump Tweets

We were a little sad to hear that Nashville school board member is now apologizing after tweeting a list of nicknames for Trump that we found very awesome and entertaining. The tweets actually went up on Friday:

School board Chair Anna Sephard has since spoken to Fox 17 News, saying she spoke to Buggs over the weekend and Buggs now says she should not have used her school twitter handle to make the comments. Sephard promises it will not happen again.

Other members of the board came to Buggs’ defense. Will Pinkston, Nashville School Board member Representing District 7 told Fox 17 News people are free to speak their minds.

“A lot of people are frankly worried right now and everyone is expressing opinions in different ways. Taking to Twitter is a way to both mourn and satirize the situation. This is a Democracy and people are free to speak their minds.”

He’s absolutely right. It’s insane the way Trump and his supporters try to repress the media and other critics from speaking the truth, when they were extremely outspoken (and wrong and hateful) during the previous Presidency.

Trump Secret Service Agent Says She Won’t Defend The President

Man…even Trump’s bodyguards are on some “not my president” mentality.

One of President Trump’s secret service agents publicly declared that if anything pops off to threaten the new Commander in Chief…she pretty much plans to step back and let it occur, since she was here for Hillary anyway.

According to TMZ, she was so bold in her claims that she went so far as to post it on FB:

The senior agent from the Denver field office went on a Facebook rant that has since been deleted … confessing she was rooting for Hillary and would take jail over a bullet for the new POTUS.

The agent wrote, “But this world has changed and I have changed. And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her.”

Secret Service agents aren’t even legally permitted to speak on their personal political beliefs publicly…so that jail time she spoke of might just be coming more quickly than she imagined.

Damn, you know it’s bad when your own security hates you so much they refuse to keep you secure at all.

A Tornado ripped across east Texas earlier this week…and took 75-year-old Charlesetta Williams on a joyride in her home’s bathtub in the process.

When the storm hit, Williams took refuge in a bathtub covered with a blanket. The twister lifted her and the bathtub up out of the house and landed her in the woods. But she missed the entire exciting ride.

“I wasn’t looking. I was under that quilt. I’m a tell you I don’t wanna ride now through another one.”

India Arie Defends Chrissette Michele Against Online Attacks

Chrisette Michelle has (rightfully) been facing a mountain slide of memes and tweets calling out her headazzy Trump Inauguration antics over the last week…but at least one person is in her corner.

In steps India Arie. The soul sister tweeted an open letter to those with something sinister to say about Chrissette’s “bridge-building” performance mission. And although she doesn’t personally get it or at all agree with it…she thinks everyone should lay off of poor Chrissette and let her learn from this misstep.

The entire letter is worth a read, for complete context. But here’s a large chunk. See what you think about what she has to say…

That got me thinking.

I can’t say I STAND WITH HER
but ! I can say

I STAND UP FOR CHRISETTE MICHELE
First of all, let me speak for myself:
I LOVE Chrisette I’ve known her since she was singing at open mic’s at village underground, I’ve watched her journey and I haven’t agreed with it all, and still I love her, but that’s not why I write this open letter.
I write this because, I LOVE HUMANITY and I KNOW WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS. Social media is a powerful tool, that becomes a weapon, when people start treating each other as little more, than the little blue screen in front of them.

Basic truth: When we see people as less than human, it gives us permission to treat each other as less than human. THIS IS THE FUNDAMENTAL ISSUE FACING AMERICA AT THIS TIME.
SO, why do it to each other on an interpersonal level?

The culture is talking about being “WOKE” …. Woke from what?

To ME, Woke, means conscious – making conscious decisions about how you navigate life.
A basic spiritual philosophy is that, The highest consciousness understanding is that we are one interconnected humanity.

So WAKE UP THEN! Agree or disagree with Chrisette , she is A HUMAN BEING – nuanced and multi dimensional. Give her a chance to be everything that she is, and YOU take a chance to remember – you’ve made missteps too.

Which is how I SEE this thing with Chrisette – a misstep. I think there is a deeper reason she decided to be there – and I think it was a career misstep.

She goes on to say that the attacks against Chrissette have gone way too far, and there’s little value in being abusive when we disagree with someone’s words or actions.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t say ANYTHING!
I AM SAYING, LET LOOK AT HOW WE ARE SAYING WHAT WE SAY. Why the abuse? and the “Canceling Chrisette Michele in 2017?” and all of that? come on guys.
I think the WAY we are responding is a EXTREME – and I think the reason WHY is so extreme, is that it’s misplaced FEAR and Anger. Chrisette is a trigger for our fear – not the cause nor should she be the focus of it.

Do I agree with her performing at the inauguration? NO. I would have NEVER done it. For any price, under any circumstance. but thats ME.
Do I agree with her having the CHOICE? YES
Do I think I understand the nuance that went into her decision? NO!!

Let disagree – but love our sister…

IF WE CAN JUST FOCUS OUR ATTENTION WHERE IT MATTERS, WE CAN AFFECT CHANGE.
We are a PASSIONATE PEOPLE! and it’s beautiful, now lets use out power and passion consciously. SO, this, and things of the like, are your FUEL for your flight, if you so choose.
