Kris Jenner has already smashed up her brand new luxury vehicle…and may have smashed up her arm in the process. TMZ is reporting that the Momager mogul got into a car accident on an LA highway — colliding with a Prius — and might need to be in a cast for the next few weeks.
Kris Jenner was just involved in a car wreck off the 101 freeway near her home and we’re told the impact was bad enough that she may have broken her wrist.
Law enforcement sources tell us Kris’ white Rolls-Royce collided with a Prius — the force of the impact deployed her airbag and absolutely destroyed the front end.
A Kardashian source tells us the Prius ran a red light. A law enforcement source tells TMZ it appears Kris was driving on a surface street when the Prius cut in front of her trying to get onto the 101 and caused the collision.
We’re told Kris is being treated on scene by paramedics … who we’re told did not want to remove her from the car for fear of exacerbating her injury.
The Rolls is only a week old.
You would think a car that expensive would hold up juuuust a little better in a situation like that. Welp, hopefully Kris is okay!

An American Airlines pilot, whose name has not been released, made headlines recently after he took down 25-year-old passenger, Michael Kerr. Kerr had been slurring his words, appeared to be intoxicated, and had just thrown a female flight attendant to the ground.
The incident took place on July 21st, as the plane was making its way from Lexington, Kentucky, to Charlotte, North Carolina, although the video only went viral in the last 48 hours.
After landing the plane, the pilot came out to speak with Kerr. When Kerr shoved the attendant and then threatened to break the pilot’s jaw, the pilot held him down for close to 20 minutes until police could arrive.
Kerr has since been charged with assault, interfering with the duties of the flight crew, and public intoxication. He has been released on $25,000 bail and is waiting to stand trial. The flight attendant is currently receiving physical therapy for injuries incurred by the assault.
What was this guy sipping on?? SMH. And we KNOW you peeped the racial disparity between the passenger and the flight attendant. We wonder how much that had to do with the way he was treating her…

Basketball Wives LA returned with a bang this season, and the claws have already come out — just a few episodes in! We caught up with Angel Brinks to talk about what it’s like to be thrust into a group with all their existing drama, and go more in depth into her emotional episode last Sunday.
This is only your second season on BBWLA, so you’re still a bit of a newbie. What was it like being thrown into this catty reality TV world?
Something in the back of my mind was off, obviously, because I thought coming into it that we were going to form some kind of sisterhood. You know, we’ve all been linked to professional basketball players…I figured they know ins and outs of this world and they could teach me a few things and we’d form a bond. But once I got thrown in I was like “Hold on — this wasn’t the plan!” I’m optimistic, I thought my personality and positive attitude had the capacity to change how they’d react to me or warm them up. But but they were just so mean!
Draya brought you into the group, but then abruptly left mid-season and decided not to return. Do you miss having her around to navigate interactions with all these new ladies — especially in the crazier situations?
I really wanted her to stay, I thought we could have had fun together. But even though she decided coming back wasn’t right for her, she encouraged me. She tells me to see it through and just don’t quit. The other ladies, they don’t know her like I do, and she’s a really great person. Plus, she brings so much life to the show! So yes, I was sad to see her go, but I understand.
To get a little more serious, you shared some dark experiences from your past on this last episode. How have you dealt with sharing info about your late husband with your son as he’s gotten old enough to understand, and how has he been processing that?
When [my son] was born, I had close family with me and they told me not to worry about the future, and to instead focus on the present and enjoying my baby. Basically, we could deal with it when the time comes. Then he hit preschool, then school, then the questions started to come. He’d watch cartoons, see situations there and wonder “where’s my daddy?” And since my husband was a rapper, I’d tell him “God needed him to come and play music for the angels.” But eventually he’d wonder “Doesn’t God know I need him too?” It’s been very difficult as he’s aged.
As he got older, I had my daughter and We’d travel with Tyreke [Evans], and he’d look out at the clouds and ask if this is where God lives. I’d tell him yes, and he’d get all excited, looking out the window hoping to see his Daddy. He’ll still say he wishes his Daddy was here.
What got cut from the show, and the reason we really began crying together, he said “I’m happy for my sister. I look at her and I think at least she has someone that loves her.” I had to tell him, “No, we ALL love you!” It’s sad, because even though he has uncles, cousins, grandparents, all of us — but that father figure is missing in his life, and there’s a void. I’m not sure what’s harder — when fathers are in your life and leave or die or never knowing them at all. When someone passes, at least we knew them and had them in our lives.
As a parent I struggle with that. It’s hard to talk about certain things with him. He plays several video games where he sees characters die then come back to life, and I think some part of him still believes that his Daddy might come back. It’s just very hard.
How have fan reactions been since Sunday’s episode?
I feel like what’s going on in the world is so bad with all the hate we see. So, I didn’t think I would get so much support after this episode aired. I’m so glad and truly thankful that so many people reached out to support me, and many could actually relate to what I went through and have had similar experiences.
This is what I want for the show. People look at something like Basketball Wives and see “Ohh, they have fancy cars, nice homes, clothes, etc.” and even though I’m not a basketball WIFE, I share in that lifestyle as well. BUT Behind all that, there’s real life and relatable issues, we’re able to give a voice to that. I just have to thank everyone so much for all their support.
So, can you give us a little preview on what’s coming up for you the rest of this season? Do you end up clashing with anyone in particular?
I really wish I could tell you! Of course I can’t speak much, but I do have my five-year anniversary party for my fashion line in an upcoming episode. There were several celebs there — Floyd Mayweather came, Lil Kim. I actually wasn’t going to celebrate, but people pushed me. 5 years is a milestone in a business. BUT, what you would think would be a beautiful setting didn’t exactly turn out to be.
So there are a lot of twists and turns for the show and me getting into it with some people you wouldn’t necessarily expect. There’s a lot of surprises coming up.
I will say that it’s a very emotional season for me, so I’m apologizing in advance for the tears *laughs.* But this is my real life.

Europe is really going through it with these constant terror attacks. Another is currently unfolding in England, this time with a knife-wielding assailant going on a “rampage” through the streets of London.

A woman has died and up to five people have been injured after a man allegedly ‘went on the rampage’ in a possible terror-related knife attack in central London.
Police confirmed a man was arrested after he was seen ‘brandishing a knife’ and ‘injuring people’ in front of horrified onlookers in Russell Square last night.
Fears that the knifeman operated with an accomplice were raised in the early hours as the Met refused to rule out further suspects. One witness said he saw ‘a man flee on a motorbike’.
Officers arrived at the scene to find six people injured including one woman who died from her injuries a short time later. The condition of the other five is not yet known and police have not yet named or revealed the ages of the victims.
One source said the suspect was seen to go ‘on the rampage’ with the weapon. The woman’s body is still believed to be on the pavement with a forensics tent covering it.
Scotland Yard said: ‘Terrorism is one possibility being explored at this stage.’
The Met said the suspect was detained after being Tasered at the scene of the incident – opposite the three-star Imperial Hotel – at around 10.40pm last night.
Police have cordoned off the area and there is a heavy presence of officers and paramedics. The Met said ‘additional units’ had been deployed for reassurance.

Korryn Gaines was killed by police on August 1st when police barged into her house to serve a warrant for traffic violations. Other than that, most of the details are sketchy. Police originally said they entered the house with a key but we now know they kicked the door down. We don’t know who shot Gaines’ son. And apparently the body cams stopped working, too. So there’s that.
The whole thing seems questionable.
But there’s a bigger question here. Since Gaines was killed, there seems to be a divide about how her death has been treated. There have been Black men on social media who have questioned Gaines and found ways to place blame on her for her own death. Black women have been quick to point this out. It’s sad to see especially since Black women are so ready to ride for any Black man killed by police.
The truth may be somewhere in the middle as there are plenty of Black men speaking up as well as Black men disrespecting her life and finding ways to say she deserved to die. We gathered a few tweets that cover the full spectrum of the debate — men defending Gaines, men questioning her, women defending her and calling out the men and everything in between.
So we ask: are Black men treating her differently? Would they be more fervently defending her if she were a man? And what does this all say about the state of Black women in this country?

Looks like Ray J and Princess Love will be leaving single life behind next Friday as several sources are confirming that their wedding ceremony is set to be held on August 12th, with his superstar sister Brandy performing the Etta James classic “At Last” for the couple’s first dance and Anthony Hamilton singing his hit “The Point of It All” during the ceremony.
According to our sources, the wedding will be taped for the upcoming season finale of “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood.” As most of you already know, Princess and Ray J have featured roles on the show.
Guess it’s also worth mentioning that the wedding gig is more good news for Hamilton, who earned the #1 spot this week on the Urban Adult Contemporary Radio Chart with his hit single “Amen” after 25 weeks on the move. This marks Hamilton’s third time topping the chart, having “Pray For Me” and “Can’t Let Go” reach #1 as well.

According to Jamaica Observer reports:
Former Miss Jamaica Universe Shakira Martin died at a hospital in Florida last night due to complications with the sickle cell disease. She was 30 years old.
Martin’s mother, Andrea Hall, confirmed her death in a social media post earlier today. “My darling princess Shakira Aminah passed away at 12:28am from complications from sickle cell blood clots to both lungs” she said.
“Shakira was a fighter, lived her life in the moment, never became a slave to her disease. I will [keep] you posted with all the arrangements which will be both in Florida and Jamaica her favorite place in the whole world. Thanks for your support, prayers, phone calls, texts,” she added in her Facebook post.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. Sickle Cell is such a terrible disease. We pray that one day soon no one has to suffer from it and die so young.

35-year-old Joshua Harding, who was on trial facing two sexual assault charges, pulled from his sleeve what officials have described as a shank and tried to stab assistant prosecutor Jonathan Roth, video of the incident obtained by the State Journal shows.
Public entrances to the courthouse require attorneys, the public and the media to pass through a metal detector. Pockets are emptied and bags, coats and other items are passed through an X-ray machine similar to those in an airport.
When inmates are admitted to the Ingham County jail, they pass through a metal detector and a body scanner, Sheriff Gene Wriggelsworth said, but those measures aren’t taken when inmates, like Harding, are taken from the jail.
Nor do they pass through metal detectors or body scanners when they arrive at Veterans Memorial Courthouse in downtown Lansing, Wriggelsworth said, adding that the issue is something that may be reviewed after the events in Judge James Jamo’s courtroom Tuesday.
Wriggelsworth said he will meet with judges this week to discuss any security concerns or questions they might have.
Ingham County Chief Circuit Judge Janelle Lawless said judges met with a state court security expert Wednesday. She added that the meeting had been scheduled prior to Tuesday’s incident and was prompted, in part, by the July shooting in Berrien County Circuit Court.
She added that the court is already “in the process of reviewing security measures,” but that Tuesday’s incident “validated” the judges’ concerns about court security. She said metal detectors at the back entrance for inmates is a Sheriff’s Office issue, but something the judges “will certainly be supporting.”
“We are very thankful that there were no serious injuries on Tuesday,” Lawless said. She judge credited the quick actions of the three law enforcement officers in the courtroom with preventing something worse.
A message was left seeking comment from Ingham County Prosecuting Attorney Gretchen Whitmer.
As a jury was walking into the courtroom on the third floor of the courthouse with its verdict, the video shows Harding appearing to pull something from his sleeve before charging across the room at Roth.
In the video, Harding appears to target Roth specifically, running past another assistant prosecutor to get to Roth.
While appearing to be holding the weapon, which officials have described as a shank, the video shows Harding tries to stab Roth but misses, possibly due to the efforts of Det. Brian Canen of the Meridian Township Police Department.
Harding ran at Roth from the prosecutor’s left. Canen, who was standing on the other side of Roth, sees Harding as he’s halfway to the prosecution table and starting to raise his right hand, which appears to have the weapon. Roth ducks and Canen’s arm appears to deflect Harding’s arm as the detective starts to tackle Harding.
From the video, it appears Harding’s weapon missed Roth’s face by inches. As Canen tries to tackle Harding, who Wriggelsworth said weighs about 280 pounds, Harding appears to swing his arm at Roth again.
Two Ingham County deputies, who were in the back of the courtroom, responded to the incident within seconds. One helped Canen bring Harding to the ground and the other jumped onto the pile to help get Harding under control.
It took Canen and the two deputies about 30 second to roll Harding onto his stomach and handcuff him.
Officials said Tuesday evening they believed a deputy had suffered a broken nose during the incident. Wriggelsworth said todaythe deputy suffered a cut to his nose but it wasn’t broken. He added that the deputy is expected to return to work on Friday.
Harding suffered minor injuries, the sheriff said. Charges expected next week.
