Filmmaker Sues Beyoncé And Record Label For Stealing Ideas In Lemonade

We’re surprised it took this long. “Surprised what took so long?”, you ask. For the past few years, whenever Beyoncé drops a new album or music video someone comes along with claims that Mrs. Carter has stolen some of their creativity to supplant her lack thereof.

According to TMZ, there is a film director claiming that Beyoncé’s wig-snatching “visual album” is a rip-off of his film entitled Palinoia. Matt Fulks has filed a lawsuit against Bey and her record label for taking parts of his film and reinterpreting them for Lemonade.

Fulks says his film is about a “tumultuous relationship” and Lemonade features many scenes similar to the 2014 flick.

The director claims that the use of “overgrown grass”, parking garages, red-tinted rooms, and graffiti covered walls are all evidence of Bey biting his style.

Jessica Dimepiece’s enhanced physique was due for maintenance on Wednesday, when she went to the surgeon to rearrange her breast implants.

Jessica Dime went to reality stars’ and IG models’ favorite surgeon, Dr. Miami — the same doc who gave Black Ink Crew’s Sky her brand new booty — to give her 6-year-old breast implants a much-needed tune-up. As they were, Jessica’s implants were opressively large, partially deflated, and a bit lopsided after years of wear:

During the procedure, Dr. Miami had to change out Jessica’s old oversized and deflated saline implants for a fresh silicone pair, and lift her nipples up to the “standard” location of where they belong, and give her an overall tighter and perkier look.

Rocko Sues Future For Millions

Future has been getting hit with legal action right and left by his baby mamas, but now he also has a fellow rapper and former colleague coming for his millions.

Apparently Rocko and Future have had an ongoing financial beef on the low for years. When Future was a newbie, he was Rocko’s artist, and had a contract to put out 6 albums under his label. But once Future got poppin’, Epic Records came knocking…and Future rolled with them and never looked back. Via TMZ:

Future wouldn’t even have one … if not for rapper/producer Rocko, who says he discovered Future, put him on the path to fame and fortune, and then got stabbed in the back.

Rocko, owner of A1 Recordings, just sued Future … citing a 2011 contract he believes Future breached. He says the deal was for Future to make his first 6 albums with A1.

Rocko says Epic Records signed on to distribute the albums, but then things got tricky. In the suit, he says Future cut a side deal with Epic, which scored him huge multi-million dollar advances.

Rocko says he was left out in the cold because Future stiffed him to the tune of 25% — the commission he’s owed off those fat Epic advances. In addition, he says he’s owed 20% of Future’s earnings from touring, endorsements, etc …

Bottom line … Rocko says Future’s on the hook for more than $10 million.

Wow. Future’s pockets might get lighter and lighter if all these suits keep rolling in. It’s also especially odd since Rocko has quite the reputation as a “street dude,” so it’s interesting that he turned to the courts to recoup what he believes he’s owed.

Rapper Faces 40 Years In Prison If Convicted

Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave was formally indicted Thursday for shooting up the VIP area at a TI concert last month.

A grand jury decided there was enough evidence to formally charge Troy Ave, real name Roland Collins, with attempted murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon – all felonies.

During a hearing Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court, prosecutors presented a certificate of grand jury action, indicating that Collins was indicted. The case was also moved to Manhattan Supreme Court – the same venue where fellow Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda is fighting gang conspiracy charges.

If he’s convicted, Troy Ave could get up to 40 years in state prison on just the attempted murder charge.

Cops released video of a bleeding Troy Ave shooting wildly at an unknown person backstage at the TI concert at Irving Plaza in Manhattan.

Troy Ave did not appear at the hearing at Manhattan Criminal Court, but is due back in court July 7 for his arraignment. Earlier this month, he released a song from lockup proclaiming his innocence.

Woman Pours Vodka In 7-Year-Old’s Eyes

A woman vacationing in Florida is in police custody after officers say she she poured vodka in the eyes of a 7-year-old. Why??? Because they splashed her at the pool.

WCN reports:

A North Carolina woman was arrested on a charge of child abuse after police say she poured vodka on the eyes and head of a 7-year-old boy who had splashed water on her at a hotel pool.

Clearwater police say Roseanna Marie Kiser, 23, was intoxicated and was drinking from a bottle of vodka in the pool area at the Sheraton Sand Key Hotel at 1160 Gulf Blvd. in Clearwater Beach. Several young children were swimming and playing in the pool.

Kiser became angry at a 7-year-old boy because he splashed water near her. She opened her bottle of vodka and poured some of it onto the boy’s eyes and face. She then grabbed the boy around the chest and pushed him further away from her into the pool, according to an arrest affidavit.

Kiser kicked a police officer in the groin with her heel when he was arresting her, according to the affidavit.

Kiser was charged with child abuse and battery on a law enforcement officer. She lives in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Cleveland Cavaliers Fan Fired For Homophobic Slurs Aimed At Riley Curry

Sports fans can be the worst people on Earth sometimes. Sure, people love “their team”, but often times that love turns into vitriol, violence, and personal attacks. It doesn’t even have to be the athletes themselves who bear the brunt of the trolling. Let the keyboard gangstas tell it, family members are fair game too.

Yesterday, Steph Curry’s sister Sydell tweeted that she was on her way to The Land to watch her brother and the Warriors play game 3 of the NBA Finals against Lebron James and the Cavs.

In response to this innocuous tweet, a (suspect) Twitter user named “@SoftCaramelKiss” sent the following:

Yeah. He just called a 3-year-old a “fa***t”. Apparently Sydell had Jesus in her heart and let the insanely disrespectful comment slide with a smile.

A Warriors fan page caught wind of the comment and posted Moe’s original tweet to their page.

Based on THAT tweet, a user named Cheryll took major offense and sent a tweet to Moe’s employer, Holton Wise Property Group.

Apparently, Holton Wise Property Group doesn’t play that s#!t.

Once Sydell landed she saw the commotion that had unfolded and reached back out to Moe to explain to him exactly where he f***ed up.

President Obama Finally Endorses Hillary Clinton

Looks like President Obama has officially endorsed Hillary Clinton according to CNN reports:

President Barack Obama endorsed presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in a web video Thursday.

“I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office,” Obama said in the video.

“I want those of you who have been with me since the beginning of this incredible journey to be the first to know that I’m with her,” Obama continued. “I am fired up. And I can’t wait to get out there and campaign with Hillary.”
Obama will campaign with Clinton next week in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

“It’s probably the first of many campaign events between now and November,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said, adding that no more campaign events are scheduled yet. Earnest said Obama recorded his video Tuesday.

His endorsement made note of the historic nature of Clinton’s being the first female presidential nominee of a major political party. Obama’s endorsement brings full circle a relationship that began when the two were rivals in the hard-fought 2008 Democratic nominating contest.

And as far as Donald Trump goes:

Tickets for ONE Musicfest, the 7th annual Southeast fall music festival, went on sale this week.

Ice Cube and Erykah Badu will headline the event, with special performances from by Busta Rhymes, Gary Clark Jr., A$AP Ferg, Andra Day, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Jazmine Sullivan and BJ The Chicago Kid. The festival will also feature the long-awaited reunion of Atlanta’s own Dungeon Family and Organized Noize, with Big Boi, CeeLo Green, Rico Wade, Big Gipp, T-Mo, Killer Mike, Cool Breeze, Witchdoctor, Backbone, Big Rube, Sleepy Brown, Ray Murray, and Slimm Calhoun all prepared to take the stage, along with many other surprise guests.

ONE Musicfest has attracted over 60,000 music lovers from across the country, and previous acts have included Kendrick Lamar, Nas, The Roots, Snoop Dogg, Janelle Monae, and Lauryn Hill. Khloe Kardashian May File For Restraining Order Against Lamar Odom For Harassment

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been doing the divorce dance for several years now. Following his overdose in Las Vegas last year, some thought that the two might reconcile after Khloe nursed him back to health.

But according to RadarOnline, it appears that love has been replaced with fear…

Khloe Kardashian has finally decided to walk away from her marriage to Lamar Odom, but convincing the former basketball star their relationship’s over hasn’t been very easy.

“He’s totally lost it, calling her every name under the sun and yelling at her for breaking promises she made to him on his death bed,” an insider told RadarOnline.com.

“It’s pretty vicious,” continued the insider, noting 36-year-old Odom, who nearly died after an overdose at a Nevada brothel last fall, “has been bombarding her with bitter texts and drunken rambling messages that are starting to scare her.”

Sounds like ol’ Lammy Lam-Lam is back up to his old tricks…

The situation has escalated so much that Kardashian is now looking into all her options, including legally keeping her ex away.

“She’s now considering a restraining order against him because he’s been threatening all kinds of crazy things, from spilling all her secrets to hoping she drops dead,” revealed the insider.

Lamar Odom is a drug-addict. The only person who can help him at this point is himself. Hopefully he gets it together, he might not be so lucky next time…

Most Black People Think OJ Is Guilty

As everyone who was old enough to recall 1995 (and all those who caught The People Vs. O.J. Simpson) know, back in the 90’s you couldn’t even TRY to convince the average Black American that The Juice was guilty of chopping up his ex-wife and her suspected lover. But now, a new study shows that that outlook has changed, and most Black people pretty much concede that OJ is as guilty as sin. The filmmaker responsible for O.J.’s upcoming 30 For 30 special breaks it down, via FiveThirtyEight:

A striking poll finding was cited often in coverage of the O.J. Simpson murder trial in 1994 and 1995: Most white people thought the former football star was guilty of killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, while roughly the same proportion of black people thought Simpson was innocent. The racial gap in public opinion was one of many elements of the case — along with a long history of conflict between the Los Angeles Police Department and the city’s black residents, and racist statements made by LAPD Detective Mark Fuhrman — that showed race was as important as glove size and forensic evidence.

In the two decades since Simpson was acquitted by a majority-black jury, the racial gap has narrowed significantly. In two recent polls, more than 50 percent of black respondents said they thought Simpson was guilty — up from about 20 percent in most polls before, during and right after the trial.

The more recent polls were conducted in 2014 and 2015, before the case returned to the public eye this year thanks to two high-profile television series: FX’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson” and ESPN Films’ “O.J.: Made in America.” (ESPN owns FiveThirtyEight.) Both series leave the impression that Simpson killed Brown Simpson and Goldman; he has said he is innocent.

Why the shift? Developments in the murder trial and events in Simpson’s life probably have played a role. Changes in demographics and race relations may also have contributed to shifting black opinion about the case.

15-Year-Old Girl Commits Suicide After Friends Bully Her Over Nude Video

Teenage bullying has claimed yet another life, as a 15-year-old girl has committed suicide after her classmates got a hold of a nude video taken without her knowledge or permission, and teased her mercilessly over it.

Tovanna Holton was just wrapping up her freshman year of high school when a naked video of her was uploaded to social media and passed around by her friends and classmates. According to reports from The Daily Beast and The Tampa Bay Times, the video in question was Snapped by her “friends” while she was in the shower — without her knowledge.

There’s no word on how long the video was, but it naturally spread like wildfire once it was posted to SnapChat and screenshot and passed around by her classmates.

One friend says that the video was spread even further on Sunday evening by Tovonna’s ex-boyfriend. He was apparently upset after they had a heated argument, and decided to upload the image or video in question to Twitter.

Tovanna’s mother said she knew that Tovanna was upset about some things being said about her online and had expressed that she was having problems with her friends over a photo they had shared of her, but had no idea it was affecting her to the point of suicide.

Just hours later, Tovanna’s mother found her locked in the bathroom and laying in a puddle of blood, having taken her mother’s handgun from her purse to end her own life.

Tovanna has now become the latest teen to symbolize the #StopBullying movement.

SMH. Sad that Tovanna couldn’t see any other way out of the taunts and teases of her classmates, and all over a video that people she assumed she could trust took of her and used without her knowledge…

Milwaukee Police Chief Jokes About Simple Rules For Shooting Residents

A Milwaukee police chief says he has accepted a “scolding” from local councilmen for discussing “four simple rules” for residents not get shot by cops according to WISN reports:

Police Chief Ed Flynn said he accepted the “scolding” given to him by an alderman about the “four simple rules for not getting shot in Milwaukee” quip he made last month, but he didn’t take it back.

The four rules, announced during a ceasefire sabbath event in May, included not being involved with a crime gang, not being a drug dealer, not illegally carrying a gun, and conceding an argument with someone with a more extensive arrest record.

“I want you to know this is more than just about a soundbite,” Alderman Milele Coggs said during a special meeting of the Common Council’s public safety committee. “It’s about more than just being disturbed by what you said.”

Flynn acknowledged Coggs’ concern that his comments sent the wrong message to his officers and the community, and that he should have been more sensitive — but he didn’t apologize.
