Yes. There were several different occasions that this happened.
On how the frequent the physical abuse was:
When you’re in an abusive situation, it just kind of builds, and it starts to get worse and worse.
And people ask me, why didn’t you tell anybody or call the police or what have you? I just thought that I could make it better. I honestly thought after each situation that I would change this or I would change that, and therefore the outcome wouldn’t be the same. It doesn’t work like that.”
On how she feels now about being abused:
I’m still realizing now that a lot of what happened, it wasn’t my fault.
A lot of women who are in situations like I was in, I wanted to make it better. I was praying every day. I was cooking. I was smiling. The outside appearance was as if nothing was happening.
Even though you’re being abused, you still love that person, you’re just trying to love them through it. And you’re trying to pray them through it and you’re not realizing that you can’t change a person, they have to change themselves.

All In The Family: Donald Sterling’s Wife Rochelle Once Called Tenant “You Black MF’er” And Said Latinos Are Filthy
Rochelle Sterling was seen smiling and cheering at the Clippers game Tuesday against the Warriors despite the lifetime ban on her husband’s involvement with the team and the $2.5 million fine levied against him.
Donald Sterling’s Wife Rochelle Was Implicated In Discrimination Suit
Clippers coach Doc Rivers revealed she’d called him before attending the game to make sure it was appropriate. Rivers said he had compassion toward Sterling because “she did nothing wrong” and had “been through as much as anyone,” but it appears from court records that isn’t entirely true.
According to NY Daily News reports:
Shelly Sterling — who distanced herself from her spouse’s hate speech in a statement on Monday — was accused in a 2009 deposition related to a federal discrimination lawsuit against the Sterlings of saying that Latinos were filthy and that she had called one of her husband’s tenants a “black motherf—–.”
The accusations, made by tenant Darrell Rhodes, was first reported by the Los Angeles Times.
The 2009 deposition of Rhodes, along with the Justice Department’s discrimination suit on behalf of other minority tenants, was resolved in a $2.765 million settlement that same year.
Rhodes said he was asking Shelly Sterling about a rent cut when she lashed out, the court documents showed.
“I asked her, ‘Would you reduce the rent?’” Rhodes recalled in the deposition. “And she said, ‘Who do you think you are, you black motherf—–?’
“The way in which she said motherf—– was more lower voiced, under her breath. She said black loud enough for me to hear, she said mother loud enough for me to hear. F— part was a little lower. I had to look at her lips to hear her say it. And I did.”
Maira Oliva, a building manager at a Sterling property, said there was no lip-reading needed when Shelly Sterling bad-mouthed minority tenants to her.
“She said, ‘Oh my God. This is so filthy. I can’t remodel my apartments the way I want because Latinos are so filthy,’” Oliva recalled in her 2009 deposition.
The Sterlings admitted no wrongdoing in their settlement of the lawsuits. But Donald Sterling was accused in court papers of making similar racist cracks about black and Hispanic tenants.
According to the suit, Sterling said he didn’t want to rent to Hispanics because “they smoke, drink and just hang around the building.”
As for black tenants, Sterling was charged with saying they “smell and attract vermin.”
SMH. Do you think it’s possible that Shelly has changed her tune since 2009? To his credit, Coach Rivers did say he didn’t think it would work for the team to be transferred to Sterling’s wife’s ownership either.

It’s been 20 years since infamous rockstar Kurt Cobain’s death and while reports released back in the day claimed that he had only good things to say about wife Courtney Love in the suicide note found with his body a new note found in his belongings on the day of his death paints a very different picture.

A shocking note discovered in Kurt Cobain’s wallet at the time of his death has been released twenty years after his drug-fueled suicide— and it’s sure to add fuel to the fire for theorists who believe the rocker’s wife, Courtney Love, was somehow connected to his tragic demise.
The Nirvana frontman was found dead of a shotgun wound to the head in his Seattle home on April 8, 1994. He was 27.
CBS News first reported that the hand-written note, scribbled on stationary from San Francisco’s Phoenix Hotel, seems to mock the troubled young couple’s 1992 marriage vows.
“Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife,” the paper begins, “even when she’s a b**ch with zits and siphoning all (your) money for doping and whoring…”
Cobain’s negative portrayal of former Hole singer Love— who very publicly battled heroin addiction alongside her husband— is in stark contrast to the loving language from the suicide note discovered near his body.
“I have a goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy,” Cobain wrote in the infamous letter.
Though a recent Seattle Police Department review of the case confirmed the medical examiner’s original conclusion that the death was indeed a suicide, the newly disclosed note is sure to rock the music world.
Love, the estranged mother of Cobain’s now 21-year-old daughter Frances Bean, recently honored her late husband with his bandmates at Nirvana’s induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in New York on April 10.
“I married a guy, he killed himself, I inherited everything,” Love, now 49, told Spin magazine in 2010. “That’s the way it goes.”
