Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are having a tough week. Three days after announcing their split, the pair’s 3-year-old son Julian has reportedly been involved in a minor car accident.
Entertainment Tonight reports that the incident occurred on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles on Feb. 27. Patton’s mother and assistant were with the boy at the time, who was sitting in the back seat of Patton’s black Range Rover. The trio were being followed by paparazzi.
Earlier this week, Thicke, 36, and Patton, 38, announced in a joint statement that they are separating after nearly nine years of marriage.
“Robin wanted to save their marriage, but it was Paula’s choice and she ended it,” an insider told Us of the pair. “Robin does not want this divorce.”
The “Blurred Lines” crooner stepped out for the first time post-split on Thursday as he arrived in Washington D.C. to gear up for his next show. I’m “trying to get her back,” he said of Patton to TMZ cameras. The Baggage Claim actress, meanwhile, was most recently spotted in L.A. without her wedding ring on Feb. 26.

Having a professional real estate agent as an ex might sound pretty harmless, but one scorned Manhattan man found a way to use it to his advantage.

When New York real estate mogul Sean Ludwick discovered his ex was dating someone else, he allegedly did something ballsy.
Authorities said Ludwick, a managing partner at Black House Development in Manhattan, broke into Lana Trevisan’s apartment and drew penises on the artwork. Artwork he had painted himself and given to her.
Ludwick, 41, is also accused of knifing the words “Studio Art” onto two stools and splashing paint on the floor during a Feb. 17 drunken rage.
“I became unhappy when I found out she was having an affair,” Ludwick told the New York Post before his appearance Monday in Manhattan Criminal Court. “I augmented my work to reflect my emotions at that moment.”
Ludwick’s lovesick behavior didn’t end there. He allegedly sent lewd emails from Trevisan’s computer to executives at her company accusing her of engaging in relationships with married men, including her current supervisor, UPI.com reported.
A short time after the rampage, Ludwick reportedly had second thoughts. He apologized to the object of spurned affection via this text message: “Sorry about the paint, I was a little drunk this weekend,” Gothamist reported.
Ludwick is charged with computer trespassing, aggravated harassment, criminal mischief, stalking and impersonation.
Ludwick’s lawyer, Daniel Ollen, tried to defend his client against the alleged penis painting charges, but may have made things worse.
“It’s hard to believe he was arrested for a felony based on these limp allegations,” Ollen told the New York Post.
He did all that and STILL ended up being the one to take the L in the end…..again. Cold world.

Atlanta rapper Da Brat was ordered to pay $6.4 million to the woman she attacked with a rum bottle, a Cobb County jury ruled Thursday afternoon.
Da Brat, whose real name is Shawntae Harris, served nearly three years in prison for the 2007 attack against Shayla Stevens, a former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader and waitress. Stevens later filed a civil suit against Harris, and that trial concluded Thursday with the verdict. Harris was ordered to pay $3.7 million in compensatory damages and an additional $2.7 million in punitive damages.
Harris’ attorney told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the amount her client was ordered to pay was excessive considering the prior punishment.
“I’m baffled,” Attorney B.J. Bernstein said. “She owned up to what happened when it happened and was punished.”
But Stevens’ attorney said his client sustained lifelong injuries in the assault, which happened at Halloween party at Studio 72, a club owned by Atlanta hip-hop mogul Jermaine Dupri.
“She has a brain injury and is a brain injury survivor,” Mark Link, an attorney for Stevens, told The AJC. “It’s not something that will ever go away. She has a scar on her face. She had so much going for her and for it come to an abrupt stop because of this attack.”
Shawntae broke azz doesn’t have a DIME of that money, she better hope they don’t seize her crib and put her on the streets.

Prince has spoken out about racism in the entertainment industry, claiming that black people aren’t given a “second chance” in film and music.
During a Mojo interview with the singer at a Caribbean island hideaway, Prince criticised the music business, explaining, “It’s box office. I can’t have something like The Great Gatsby on my hands. Didn’t you know that black people don’t get a second chance?”
“It’s like Chris Rock said: Leonardo DiCaprio can make one bad movie after another, and he just keeps going. Chris Rock makes a bad movie, and he doesn’t work again. Black people aren’t allowed to make mistakes.”

A phone is replaceable but your life isn’t!

A man was killed early Friday morning after he returned inside of a burning Plano home to retrieve his cell phone. The incident happened just after 1:00 a.m. at a house on Haggard Street, near East Park Boulevard and State Highway 75.
Neighbors called 911 to report the house fire and crews arrived just three minutes later to find the building fully engulfed in flames. A total of three people lived in the home — the victim, his daughter and his roommate.
“The tragedy here is that the three adults living in the home actually made it out of the home, realized that they had no way to call 911, no phone with them,” explained Capt. Peggy Harrell with the Plano Fire Department. “So, two of the residents — two males — actually reentered the burning home.”
One of those men, who has not yet been identified but is said to be in his early 70s, did not make it back out alive. There were no other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire, which was extinguished quickly, is still under investigation.
Neighbors said that they are sad, wishing that their longtime friend had not gone back inside of his house while it was on fire. He had been living in the home for more than 20 years. “He could’ve come to any of the neighbors’ houses to call 911,” said Nakita Weseman. “I know he realized, probably, he didn’t have his cell phone, but that’s definitely replaceable. He wasn’t.”Harrell warned residents to never run inside of a burning structure, noting that nine out of 10 people, nationally, do not make it back out alive. “Fire and smoke conditions change rapidly, and the fast-moving fire and toxic smoke can quickly incapacitate a person and make it impossible to get out,” said Harrell.

According to TMZ:
Chris Brown has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, severe insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder … and that’s why he has had such anger issues … this according to new court docs.
Chris was in court today for a progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case. Documents were filed by the facility where Chris just completed 90 days of anger management therapy. In fact, Chris stayed longer, just completing 95 days.
In the legal docs — obtained by TMZ — an official from the rehab facility wrote that … in addition to his diagnosis … Chris was self-medicating inappropriately.
The facility writes, “Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.” They never explain the cause of the PTSD. The letter also says Chris was diagnosed with Bipolar II.
The letter says Chris is on meds for the bipolar and other conditions.
Chris has learned various relaxation exercises, according to the letter, and he’s tested negative for drugs, including sticky icky , during his stay.
The facility says he’s doing really well. It says he gets up at 5 AM and works hard. They say he’s been especially good with community service, saying, “Mr. Brown’s attitude has been beyond exemplary in regard to his community service responsibilities.”
We’re glad to hear he completed rehab and seems to be doing better.
They had a good run.
Bad acting? Poor ratings? Who knows. But for whatever reason, Single Ladies has been kicked to the curb.

VH1 will not continue on with Single Ladies.
The music-themed cable network has opted to cancel the hour-long dramedy after three seasons, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
“We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies,” VH1 said in a statement. “Although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future.
We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”
The series, which stars Charity Shea, Denise Vasi and LisaRaye McCoy, is currently wrapping up its third run on the network — which used an e-book written by New York Times best-selling author Ashley Antoinette to bridge the gap between its second and third seasons.
Single Ladies centered on three best friends with different philosophies on love, sex and relationships, proving that not all women have the same desires. The series had survived some cast turnovers when Vasi replaced former lead Stacey Dash, who exited the series in its second season.
In its third season, Single Ladies is averaging 2.2 million total viewers, on par with its sophomore run.

Two weeks after Drake slammed Rolling Stone for swapping out his planned cover story for a Philip Seymour Hoffman memoriam, the rapper and PR firm ID-PR have parted ways, Billboard has confirmed.
Drake had been working with ID for the past year to handle publicity for third album Nothing Was the Same, as well as his current Would You Like a Tour?, which wraps March 26 with three dates at London’s O2 Arena. According to a source, ID initiated the split soon after the Rolling Stone debacle.
The magazine feature, which ID helped arrange, prompted a series of tweets that have since been deleted in which Drake clarified his comments regarding Kanye West’s Yeezus, saying that they were shared off-the-record, and that he was “disgusted” that the magazine ran with the Hoffman cover instead of his.
“I’m disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.” In the only tweet that’s still active, Drake added, “I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately.”
On Feb. 14, the five-year anniversary of the day his So Far Gone EP debuted online, Drake issued a more detailed account of his thoughts on the cover to his official OVO blog. “Today I was forced out of my character and felt the need to react swiftly,” he wrote. “These days are the worst ones. Waking up after a great night in the studio and it’s your day to be picked apart. After dwelling on it for a few hours or days, you will come to the conclusion that you brought it on yourself almost every time.”
In a statement to Billboard, ID said, “Drake is an incredibly talented artist and we’re proud of our results for Nothing Was the Same and Would You Like a Tour? We wish him the best.”

Tyler Perry‘s longtime and lucrative first-look deal with Lionsgate is not being renewed, though there are still several projects in the pipeline at the studio beyond his upcoming release “Single Mom’s Club,” which is due out March 14. That means the impact of this split won’t be felt for some time. We’re even hearing there could be more Madea films for Lionsgate –his last Lionsgate pic was Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, which grossed $52.5M when it came out in December.
The decision was mutual between the studio and Perry’s 34th Street Production, a source close to the situation says, based on a variety of matters such as international distribution and marketing.
We’re sure Tyler will bounce back.
