In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight Kris Jenner said that most of the stories about Bruce Jenner undergoing a sex change are not true. She also addressed Joan Rivers recent comments about her granddaughter Nori:
The tabloids put Bruce Jenner through the rumor mill after clips of Keeping Up With the Kardashians showed the patriarch with long manicured nails. Now ET special correspondent Cheryl Woodcock sat down with her good friend Kris Jenner getting her to set the record straight.
“Ninety-nine percent of the stuff in the tabloids is made up,” said Kris, who was married to Bruce for 22 years before their separation in October.
“I think when he gets his nails buffed they put clear [nail polish],” said Kris. “The bottom line is we sell magazines.”
The Jenner-Kardashian clan has no shortage of controversy at any one time, and it seems even the smallest among them isn’t safe from criticism. Joan Rivers recently joked that Kim Kardashian’s baby North “is ugly.”
“I’ve never seen a six-month-old so desperately in need of a waxing,” Rivers said during a stand-up routine.
“I haven’t heard that,” said Kris when asked about Joan’s comment. “North is beautiful and she’s got such a sweet little spirit. She’s the perfect child, so I adore her.”

One of Rihanna’s biggest supporters was the victim of a brutal murder, and Rihanna has offered to pay for his funeral.
According to reports, 14-year-old Thiago Sobral Valencia, one of Rihanna’s biggest Brazilian fans (he went by “Thyago Fenty” online), was stabbed to death by his stepfather in a drunken rage. His stepfather also killed Thiago’s 9-year-old brother and their mother.
She spoke out on Twitter and via Instagram about the horrible tragedy.

Upon learning of the incident, she had her team reach out to Brazilian authorities who then contacted Thiago’s father, Eronilton Santos.
She offered to handle all costs of the funeral, but the family rejected.
Thiago’s father told a local Brazilian News publication:
“I was surprised they were concerned. The representative said that it was a request from Rihanna herself, who wanted to offer all kinds of help. She wanted to pay for the funeral of James, but the family only asked that she would provide a tribute to him.
The only thing I thought is that from heaven, where he is, he is going to see this gesture.
The impact of the message she posted about it on Twitter was huge.”

A former Warner Music executive — a top Hollywood fund-raiser for President Obama — embezzled more than $1 million from the record label, Manhattan prosecutors charged Tuesday.
Danielle D. Smith, 45, flew from California and turned herself in at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. She was arraigned on charges of first-degree grand larceny.
Smith, who worked in the Los Angeles in the “urban” unit of Warner Music’s Atlantic Records division, allegedly used a corporate credit card to rack up $1.3 million in personal charges, prosecutors said.
Smith’s duties at Warner Music, headquartered in Manhattan, included scouting and signing artists, as well as arranging their travel and lodging, sources said.
But Smith also used her Warner Music credit card to fund a luxury lifestyle, sources said.
She booked rooms in posh hotels and airfare for personal vacations and trips herself, and shelled out for “luxury goods” — resulting in whopping charges being billed to the company credit card between 2007 and 2011, according to law-enforcement sources.
Smith resigned from Atlantic in late 2011, while she was under internal investigation for the credit card charges, sources said.
Guess times have been tough for Danielle since she’s stopped stealing money from her former employer…
Smith looked haggard in court, wearing black-rimmed glasses, a purple sweater and a gray wool coat.
She pleaded not guilty before Justice Gregory Carro, who set bail at $1 million.
Her lawyer, Scott Leemon, has represented rappers 50 Cent and Jim Jones.
Smith’s mother flew with her from California and agreed to put up a retirement fund to spring her daughter on bail, working with bail bondsman to the stars Ira Judelson.
“She denies the allegations and we look forward to exonerating her,” said Leemon.
Smith is due back in court Wednesday morning.
We have no idea how this lady can possibly be exonerated, sounds like she’s headed to join the cast of Orange Is The New Black…

The rich are different than you and me, as F. Scott Fitzgerald famously wrote, and that includes how they celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Pitched at the world’s growing class of ultra-rich 1 percenters is the most expensive Valentine’s dinner ever: a $99,300 meal that will be prepared by a Michelin-starred chef at your home.
The dinner includes ritzy ingredients such as duck eggs and truffles, as well as a dish of Wagyu beef touched with silver leaf that’s served on a bed of dry ice. Each dish in the eight-course meal is combined with a fine wine, such as the $27,680 bottle of La Romanee-Conti, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, 1990. The price tag also includes a harpist, a poet and doves, as well as chef Adam Simmonds, who earned a Michelin star in 2006.
“We felt it was incumbent to offer something that was truly exceptional and where finance wasn’t the issue, but what was the issue was the ultimate and extreme in romance,” said Marcel Knobil, the founder of London-based VeryFirstTo, the company that masterminded the dinner.
Catering to the wealthiest doesn’t just mean providing cookie-cutter products, Knobil said.
“There are significant segments of consumers throughout many territories of the world who have a great amount of disposable income, and more and more are not as willing to buy luxury off the shelf,” he said. “They would much rather have something that’s bespoke.”

The Valentine’s Day dinner can be tweaked to fit the client’s desires, Knobil said. He added that his company has not yet sold the dinner, although he is expecting the offer to generate interest.
By contrast, the sumptuous meal is unlikely to be of much interest to the hoi polloi. The cost of the dinner amounts to almost twice the median American annual income of $53,000. The average earners in the top 1 percent recorded income of $1.12 million in 2010.
As for the rest of America’s 99 percent, Valentine’s Day is slated to be a more modest affair. Only 54 percent of Americans are planning to celebrate this year, down from 60 percent in 2013, according to the National Retail Federation. The average expense on candy, cards, dinner and gifts will be $133.91, just a few dollars more than last year’s $130.97.
And for those who are really watching their budgets, fast-food and chain restaurants are increasingly muscling in on the Valentine’s Day bonanza. This year, Waffle House will offer Valentine’s dinners by candlelight, with their waffles and bacon served up on white tablecloths.

Ne-Yo Hits The Beach And FIicks It Up With Fans While On Brazilian Tour
Chill all day, work all night. Ne-Yo just wrapped up his six-date Brazilian tour with stops in Rio Grande Do Sul and Florianopolis, where he hit the waters kayaking and hung out with local fans during down time.
After soaking up the South American rays all day, Ne-Yo tore the stages down at night, performing to sold-out crowds throughout Brazil. He’s currently in the studio putting some finishing touches on his as-yet-unnamed new solo album. Must be nice…
