Peter Thomas Blames Kenya Moore’s Assistant For Fight With Apollo

Peter Thomas said “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans didn’t see everything that went down when NeNe Leakes’ Pillow Talk event turned into sleepover insanity.

“All of that was so explosive. It happened so fast,” said Peter who inserted himself into the altercation between Brandon DeShazer and Christopher Williams to defuse the situation.

Instead, Peter’s actions just helped to escalate the tension and led to unprecedented “RHOA” messiness and violence.

“Apollo [Nida] got up to help me hold Brandon back while Gregg [Leakes] and Todd [Tucker] took Christopher the other way, but Brandon was so aggressive and so hype that he accidentally hit Apollo and that’s what made Apollo flip,” Peter explained to Sister 2 Sister.

Apollo admitted that his fight with Kenya Moore’s friend was “ridiculous” and that things just got out of hand once he was allegedly struck by Brandon.

“It’s really a shame. I never thought that someone would hit me, especially when I was kinda trying to defuse the situation,” Apollo explained to Phaedra Parks in a preview for an upcoming episode. “I just saw a lot of rage in his eyes. All I know, I got hit and I just got really carried away.”

Though Peter believes Apollo was initially just trying to help him restrain Brandon and break up the fight, he acknowledged that he probably would not have responded the way Apollo did.

“If I’m breaking up a fight and I accidentally get hit, I’m probably not going to react that way, but it wasn’t just the accidental hit,” Peter said. “You can hear [Brandon] say, ‘Oh, you wanna fight, too?’”

While viewers tried to guess what caused Apollo’s aggression toward Brandon, Peter said the two have no bad blood.

“They never had an argument or any kind of altercation,” said Peter. “They never had an argument or any kind of beef.”

Just about everyone who watched the bout has an opinion about who’s to blame, but Peter refused to point fingers. No matter how it began, he said everyone involved is upset about how it ended.

“No one is proud of what happened, including Apollo. Everyone is ashamed,” he said.

Hooker Stabs Catholic School Teacher To Death In His Chicago Home

A popular teacher at a Chicago Catholic school was stabbed to death in his own home by a hooker he’d met online, police said.

Alan Filan, 61, was allegedly knifed repeatedly at his Orland Park house by Alisha Walker, 20, on Jan. 18 after they argued about money.

The duo, who’d made contact through classifieds website Backpage.com, had reportedly met at least twice before the alleged attack.

Walker, from Akron, Ohio, fled after the incident – which she claims was self-defence after Filan allegedly threatened a friend of hers also inside the home.

She was arrested in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Friday.

Charged with first-degree murder, she has since waived her extradition rights and will be transferred back to Illinois.

Filan was found dead on his kitchen floor last Tuesday after not reporting to work at Brother Rice High School, where he’d been a teacher for almost 40 years.

Says one of Filan former students:

“He always taught us to be good, upstanding young Christian men,” Collie told the Chicago Tribune, adding: “Again, I don’t know the situation, but it seems out of character for him to be in that situation.”

We’re pretty sure this wasn’t his first streetwalker rodeo.

Pregnant Maine Woman Gives Birth While Standing In Her Driveway

An expectant mother from Maine got the surprise of her life recently when she suddenly gave birth in the driveway of her house.

GRAY, Maine (AP) – Frigid temperatures couldn’t stop this delivery.

Abigail Cain was in labor and about to leave for the hospital early Friday morning when she had no choice but to give but to give birth while standing in the driveway of her Gray home – in wind chills that reached minus-13 degrees.

After the second contraction she felt she had to push, her father. Steve Bronish of Rumford, told the Sun Journal. She had the car door open and was leaning on the seat when she gave birth to a 7-pound, 5-ounce healthy baby girl named Danica AnneMarie Cain.

Her husband, who was inside the house getting a bag to take to the hospital, came out to hear a baby crying.

The couple, who has a 2-year-old son, called an ambulance and mom and the baby were taken to the hospital.

“It was 10 below out, and she had no help at all and out she came right in the driveway,” Bronish said. “It’s quite an amazing story. I’m pretty excited.”

This woman will have one unforgettable birth story to tell her daughter once she’s old enough!

We came across this article in the NYPost where writer Naomi Schaeffer Riley suggests that Camel Carter is an ain’t isht husband for essentially treating his better half, Beyoncé, like a glorified ho.

What do you call a man who stands there smiling and singing as his scantily clad wife straddles a chair and shakes her rear end for other men’s titillation?

I’m certain if I look through enough Jay Z song titles, I’ll come up with the right name for his role in Beyoncé’s performance at the Grammy Awards Sunday night. Rhymes with Goodyear. . . ? Well, how about I just call him a poor excuse for a husband.

For years, these award ceremonies have pushed the envelope; Beyoncé’s booty-shaking was certainly no worse than Miley Cyrus’s twerking or any number of other performances by Madonna, for instance. But there’s something particularly icky about doing it while your husband looks on approvingly.

“Honestly, I didn’t want to watch Jay Z and Beyoncé’s foreplay,” says Charlotte Hays, author of “When Did White Trash Become the New Normal?” Indeed, the happy couple seems to have completely blurred the line between what goes on in their bedroom and what happens on national TV. So much for the woman that Michelle Obama has called “a role model who kids everywhere can look up to.”

Hays says, “It wasn’t surprising to see Jay Z, looking pleased at his wife’s hyper-sexualized exhibition on stage.” After all, “he’s made a living singing lyrics that call women ‘bitches’ and ‘hos,’ so we shouldn’t be surprised that he objectified his own wife on stage.”

Not only does Naomi think Jay is pathetic, she believes Beyawnsay is a hypocrite…

It is a little bit surprising, though, coming so soon after Beyoncé contributed to the recent feminist manifesto, the Shriver Report. When she complains that “gender equality is a myth,” one wonders to what extent her consent to sell sexuality has contributed to the problem.

The sophisticates will say that what we saw Sunday were just the long-established stage personas of Beyoncé and Jay Z; why should their marriage change that?

Well, for one thing, the happy couple have invited audiences to admire their adorable family, with dad even joking about his daughter’s sippy cups when he accepted an award on Sunday. So they’re suggesting to audiences that this kind of public sexual behavior is compatible with a loving modern marriage.

To the Camel’s credit, “Drunk In Love” is HER song, not his. Furthermore she’s singing about pleasing him, so, yeah, he’s probably going to enjoy it.

Famous last words… A senate aide who took his own life after being arrested for the inappropriate videos and photos of children he had in his possession blames his own child sex abuse experience for his unhealthy interests.

According to NY Daily News reports:

The former U.S. Senate aide who committed suicide after being arrested on child pornography charges last month was sexually abused as a child according to a newly released suicide note.

In the tell-all letter that claims to have been written by Ryan Loskarn before his death, the 35-year-old apologizes for his “painful and humiliating” crimes and reveals that his own sexual abuse began at the age of 5.

“I owe many, many people an explanation — if that’s even possible — and that’s why I’ve written this letter,” the letter posted online begins. “I found myself drawn to videos that matched my own childhood abuse,” the letter reads. “It’s painful and humiliating to admit to myself, let alone the whole world, but I pictured myself as a child in the image or video.”

Loskarn, who served as chief of staff to Sen. Lamar Alexander, allegedly tells that the first time he saw child pornography was purely by accident — while searching for online music for downloading.

Somehow it resonated with him and he distorted his mind into believing that as a boy, the abuse he experienced was exactly what he wanted to have done to him.

“This is my deepest, darkest secret,” the letter reads.

Loskam claims that he only told three friends in his life about what happened to him, “and then fleetingly so.”

In the letter he never names the person who abused him.

Loskarn, who was found dead in his parents’ home on January 23, was arrested following a raid on his Washington, D.C. home on December 11. That same day he was fired from his coveted Capitol Hill position.

Officers said they found 200 child-porn videos on a hard drive he tried to hide by placing it outside his window.
Prosecutors said there was evidence that he additionally purchased DVDs containing child pornography between November 2010 and March 2011.

When Loskarn was thrown into a jail cell, he was placed on suicide watch and met with a mental health professional that he opened up to about his crime and how it had affected others, according to his letter.

But what he didn’t tell the professional was the abuse he endured as a child.

“I didn’t think it mattered because I intended to kill myself as soon as possible,” he wrote.

“But I’m sharing this with you because it is the truth, not an excuse. And I believe it played a role in my story.”

Loskam apologized to his family, his friends and colleagues on Capitol Hill.

He also apologized to the children seen abused in the images, like he claims he was.

Brad, 50, has gone gaga for 31-year-old Lupita, who’s been nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as “Patsey” in the Pitt-produced drama, “12 Years a Slave.”

Family Arrested For Starving And Raping Teenaged Daughter-Sister

A Wisconsin father convicted of abuse for starving his teenage daughter down to 68 pounds was sentenced to just five years in prison.

Before being sentenced by Dane County Circuit Judge Julie Genovese, Chad Chritten, 42, read a statement insisting his daughter suffered from severe emotional and behavioral problems that he couldn’t handle, that his job as a trucker kept him away from home and that he didn’t notice how thin she had become.

‘There was no master plan against my daughter,’ the man said, his voice breaking at times. ‘I was bailing water from a sinking boat with my bare hands.’

The case came to light in February 2012 when the girl, then 15, ran away from her family’s Madison home and was picked up by a passing motorist. The girl told investigators she had spent most of the previous five years confined to the home’s basement and was denied food.

Genovese said it was clear the girl had problems and that everyone who encountered her failed her. But, she told the father, ‘it’s your turn to accept your part in this.’

‘What I think you did was put your head in the sand. It’s your job as a dad to see it and you didn’t. Really, the buck stops with you,’ the judge said.

Uh, ya think???

The girl also told investigators that her stepmother beat her, her stepbrother repeatedly forced her to perform oral sex on him and she was forced to eat her feces and drink her own urine.

‘They made me feel like I was dehumanized a lot,’ the girl said in a letter to Genovese. ‘It’s all thanks to my stupid dad and stepmom for not giving me an education and keeping me locked up for most of my life and making me feel like I was in a scary spot in my life.’

Genovese sentenced the stepmother, Melinda Drabek-Chritten, to five years in prison this summer after the woman pleaded no contest to reckless endangerment and causing mental harm to a child. The stepbrother is set to stand trial on sexual assault charges next month.

Rutgers University Offers Class On Beyonce

Apparently, Sasha Fierce is making her mark at Rutgers.

A course called “Feminist Perspectives: Politicizing Beyoncé,” is being offered at the New Brunswick, N.J. university and taught by PhD student Kevin Allred.

Allred is a doctoral student and lecturer in the school’s Department of Women’s and Gender Studies. He told the Rutgers Today newspaper the idea for the course stemmed from his four semesters teaching Women’s Studies 101.

“This isn’t a course about Beyoncé’s political engagement or how many times she performed during President Obama’s inauguration weekend,” Allred said. “Rather, the performer’s music and career are used as lenses to explore American race, gender, and sexual politics.”

Allred, who created the course in 2010, pairs Beyoncé’s music videos and lyrics with readings from the Black feminist canon, including the writings of bell hooks, Alice Walker, and even abolitionist Sojourner Truth, according to RT.

Allred told the paper he welcomes conversation about the course, especially from naysayers.

“It’s important to shift students away from simply being consumers of media toward thinking more critically about what they’re engaging on a regular basis,” Allred said.

A similar course on Beyoncé’s rap-mogul hubby, “The Sociology of Hip-Hop: The Theodicy of Jay-Z,” is being taught at Georgetown University.
