Ciara: “I did have a preference, before I found out what it was. I had a preference at first and when I was told what it was, I felt like it’s going to be what it’s supposed to be. It was definitely different and my fiance got what he wanted. I’m excited.”
On performing while pregnant:
Ciara: “I haven’t toured in so long and we were trying to put tours together and even for the performance of the Grammy after party, If you go online to degreedeodorant.com/grammys, you’ll see the videos that I did with them and I was actually four months, at that time period, almost five months [pregnant] and I was jumping around and everything.”
On her maternity style:
Ciara: “I kind of want to take a theme that baggy is the new sexy. I just want to be comfortable. When I can’t wear heels anymore, I won’t wear heels. I’ll be putting on my Jordans. I’ll be keeping it really simple. My Jordans and my Uggs will be my best friends. I like to get sexy, but I believe that pregnancy within itself is sexy and I don’t have to [overdo it]. I kind of like it not being about the abs and all that stuff. I really love this phase that I’m going through right now in my life and I just want to live in it and be a little mommy-to-be.”

The attorney of the woman claiming to pregnant with Arian Foster’s child says negotiations are underway to reach a settlement in the case.
Brittany Norwood, a 20-year-old University of Houston student, says she had no idea the Houston Texans running back was married with children when the two began a romance last summer. She said they were first intimate at Hotel ZaZa, where Foster was staying during training camp, and that they also spent a week together in California in November while Foster was recovering from back surgery. Norwood sold photos of them together in California to TMZ.
The fling ended and turned ugly after Norwood told Foster that she was pregnant. Norwood said Foster and his brother immediately began pressuring her to get an abortion, something she was against.
“He’s like, ‘You can’t have this, you can’t have this kid, like, we cannot bring a child into this, like, think about my kids,’” Norwood said.
She said Foster began sending text messages urging her to end the pregnancy.
“You just can’t bring a life into this world under these circumstances. It’s not fair to anyone. It’s not just about you,” read one message, according to Norwood.

Foster’s attorney filed a motion asking the judge for a gag order. He claims Norwood was planning to produce a reality show about being pregnant with the NFL star’s baby. The judge denied the attorney’s request.

If you’ve tuned in to the new BET series “Being Mary Jane,” which stars Hollyweird actress Gabrielle Union, then you’re at least slightly familiar with these two handsome faces pictured above.
From what we’ve seen so far of the show’s first season, “Mary Jane” is torn between the affection of the very-married Andre (played by Omari Hardwick) and the ever-elusive, yet always available David aka “Never Answer” (played by Stephen Bishop.) Nigeria’s president has signed a law that bans same-sex marriage and criminalizes homosexual associations, societies and meetings, with penalties of up to 14 years in jail.

First the police targeted the gay men, then they tortured them into naming dozens of others who now are being hunted down, human rights activists said Tuesday, warning that such persecution will rise under a new Nigerian law.
The men’s alleged crime? Belonging to a gay organization. The punishment? Up to 10 years in jail under the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act, which has elicited international condemnation for criminalizing gay marriage, gay organizations and anyone working with or promoting them.
There were varying accounts of how many arrests were made in Nigeria’s Bauchi state, and a local law enforcement official denied that anyone was tortured. Nevertheless, the aggressive police action shows that Africa’s most populous country is attempting to enforce anti-gay measures that are becoming increasingly common throughout the continent.
In this instance, authorities responded to an unfounded rumor that the United States had paid gay activists $20 million to promote same-sex marriage in this highly religious and conservative nation, according to an AIDS counselor, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear that he would be arrested.
An officer pretending to be a gay man then joined a group being counseled on AIDS, according to Dorothy Aken’Ova, executive director of Nigeria’s International Center for Reproductive Health and Sexual Rights.
Aken’Ova said police detained four gay men over the Christmas holidays and tortured them until they named others allegedly belonging to a gay organization. She gave no details of what she called torture, but the AIDS counselor said the four men were brutally beaten until they gave up names.
The police have now arrested 38 men and are looking for 168 others, according to Aken’Ova, whose organization is helping provide legal services to the men. The AIDS counselor said he has helped secure bail for some of the 38 detainees. They both said dozens of homosexuals have fled Bauchi in recent days.
Chairman Mustapha Baba Ilela of Bauchi state Shariah Commission, which oversees regulation of Islamic law, said that 11 gay men have been arrested over the past two weeks. He said community members helped “fish out” the suspects and that “we are on the hunt for others.”
Bauchi state has both a Western-style penal code and Shariah, or Islamic law, which is implemented to different degrees in nine of Nigeria’s 36 states. About half of the country’s more than 175 million people are Muslims, the other half Christians.
Ilela said all 11 arrested — 10 Muslims and a non-Muslim — signed confessions that they belonged to a gay organization, but that some of them retracted the statements in court.
He denied any force was involved.
“They have never been tortured, they have never been beaten, they have never been intimidated,” he said.
Nigerian law enforcers are notorious for torturing suspects to extract confessions. They also are known for extorting money from victims to allow them to get out of jail cells.

As Kanye West‘s felony assault investigation continues, RadarOnline.com has learned that the rapper left all the legal drama behind and jetted off to Paris. He was spotted arriving at Charles De Gaulle airport in the French capital on Thursday, with no Kim Kardashian or baby North in sight.
“He’s in town for fashion week, for the men’s shows,” an insider tells Radar exclusively. The Paris Fashion Week men’s presentations began on Wednesday, and will run to Sunday, with West’s BFF Riccardo Tisci presenting the Givenchy men’s show on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, back in L.A., detectives continue to investigate the alleged assault that occurred on Monday. West allegedly attacked in 18-year-old in the office of a Beverly Hills chiropractor after the teen reportedly used homophobic and racist slurs in front of West’s fiancée, Kardashian.

A self-confessed racist white man is blatantly seeking equally racist black nationalists to partner with in an effort to revive racial segregation in America.
At first glance, Matt Heimbach looks like a friendly neighbor, an always-smiling, 22-year-old college graduate who goes to church, and loves country music and drinking beer with his buddies.
But Heimbach is a white separatist who believes that the United States would be a better place if it were divided and went back to segregation. He has been called the future of organized hate in this country.
“Loving one’s people is natural,” he said. “Every other group is allowed to love their race for the best interest of their race. There’s no reason why whites shouldn’t.”
When asked if he considered himself a racist, Heimbach said, “Sure. So what? I call it natural.”
Last year, Heimbach launched a nationwide college recruitment campaign to spread his beliefs and has been on a cross-country trip to form all-white student unions on college campuses. He founded one at his alma mater Towson University, and has plans to visit George Mason University in Virginia, Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind., and American University in Washington, D.C. this spring.
“The election of Barack Obama … has ginned up the anger and fury out there,” Potok said. “The fact that a black man was elected president, not once but twice, has merely added to that fury.”
Surprisingly, Heimbach says his outwardly anti-minority mindset did not come from his parents, who disowned him once he began his quest for segregation.
Heimbach was raised in a middle-class Maryland suburb. His parents are schoolteachers who, Heimbach admits, did not teach him to be racist. Today, he is estranged from his family.
“People always say, ‘Well, he was raised like that.’ Well, no, I wasn’t. I was raised [in a] moderate Catholic home,” he said. “My parents are … very, very moderate.”
Heimbach sees the future of America as a place of extreme segregation “where there is no ill will, there is no hostility.”
“I think it’s really important to reach out to black nationalists,” Heimbach said. “You can’t work together if you don’t … sit down and have these discussions about issues, where we have common interest.”
While on his outreach campaign, Heimbach also went to Indianapolis to meet with Reverend Mmoja Ajabu, a former Black Panther militia and Black Nationalist, who is now an ordained minister running for a seat in the United States Congress.
It doesn’t get much more ridiculous than this, folks. And this guy has ZERO shame. SMH!

Ryan Lochte was a money-making machine after the 2012 London Olympics, even landing his own reality TV show — but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned he was unable to help save his parents’ home, which they lost to foreclosure.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, the final judgement on the foreclosure of Steven and Ileana Lochte‘s Port Orange, Fla. home was handed down on Oct. 31, 2013.
The Lochtes were first sued in 2012 by CitiMortgage claiming the couple took out a loan for $258,000 in 2007, requiring $1,609.58 payments per month.
But the bank then claimed the Lochtes stopped making their payments in Feb. 2011 and owed more than $242,239!
The Olympic swimmer’s parents were sued in Volusia County, Fla. for foreclosure over the money owed and lost last October.
The judge signed a judgement in favor of the bank to the tune of $304,219.95.
Although the bank hasn’t listed the house for public auction yet, it’s only a matter of time before they do as they were issued the Certificate of Title on Dec. 18, 2013.
Interestingly, just before the Lochtes stopped making payments on their home Steven was arrested and charged with a DUI on April 11, 2010 blowing a .207 and .217 on the scene.
Steven lost his driver’s license for one year.
Dang. They stopped paying their mortgage even before Ryan won his medals. Looks like somebody gave no fawks about keeping that house!

“Orange Is the New Black” actress Michelle Hurst, who plays Miss Claudette, has awaken from a 16-day, medically induced coma after being critically injured in a serious car accident during the holidays.
The news of the accident just broke today, as cast and crew members tweeted their support. Piper Kerman, whose memoir the Netflix series is based on, encouraged fans to donate to Hurst’s medical bills:
Cast members Natasha Lyonne and Danielle Brooks also retweeted the sad news.
The YouCaring.com page, started by Hurst’s family, reveals scant details about the accident. It took place just before Christmas and doctors put her in a coma as they performed multiple surgeries. Hurst has woken up, but is still in the ICU at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Hospital.
Hurst’s Miss Claudette quickly became a standout character as Piper’s (Taylor Schilling) strict, no-nonsense roommate. She became memorable for her icy staredowns and scary demeanor. But flashback scenes revealed her vulnerable side. She had come to the United States as slave labor and operated a similar cleaning business as an adult. She ended up killing a client when he beat one of her girls. And her hopes for early parole and renewed romance with an old friend were dashed in a heartbreaking episode.
