Gunman Opens Fire At Colorado High School
A student opened fire in Aurora, CO today at a local high school where he reportedly injured 2 students before turning the gun on himself.

A gunman opened fire at a high school in Colorado on Friday, seriously wounding a fellow student before killing himself, authorities said.
A third student was injured and was reported in good condition. It wasn’t immediately clear whether that student was shot.
The shooter, a male student, said he was looking for a specific teacher by name when the incident began about 12:30 p.m. (2:30 p.m. ET) at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said. Robinson said investigators knew his identity and were talking to his family.
A second student confronted the gunman, who shot and seriously wounded the youth, Robinson said.
They said that while they had no indication of a second shooter, they were proceeding as though there might be one as a matter of caution. Students were led out of the building in an orderly evacuation, filing out in lines with their arms in the air. Some were patted down by police.

Toya Wright has had a pretty dramatic last 48 hours. The reality star and former wife to Lil Wayne was arrested for reportedly failing to pay a speeding ticket, but she’s more upset about how the media reported the situation. Apparently she was referred to on numerous outlets as Lil Wayne’s baby mama, and it made her furious because she is actually his ex-wife. She felt the title was nothing more than the media’s way to cut her down.
In a recent interview with Atlanta radio station Streetz 94.5, she says:
“I totally get it…that’s the way I was introduced to the media, but it’s also a form of disrespect. I’m married, and for one I was married to him. If you’re going to say anything about Lil Wayne, don’t say baby mama cause he got like four of those. Amina Buddafly may be Peter Gunz’s wife, but that didn’t stop him from still sleeping with his baby mama Tara Wallace on the side. However, it wasn’t Peter that informed Amina of the rapper’s cheating ways, it was actually fellow “Love and Hip Hop New York” star Yandy Smith who spilled the tea. And Amina thinks that was pretty disrespectful.

“I am still pissed with that because that is something that I should’ve asked Peter now that we are together and that she needs to apologize to me for disrespecting me by calling me out on the show.”
Amina also says that despite all the backlash she and Peter are getting for their marriage, they are actually approaching their one year anniversary:

MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry took the opportunity of her program on Saturday to address comments made by Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly about the racial complexion of Santa Claus. In an open letter to Santa, Harris-Perry said that it is an indication of how broad America’s race and class divide is that some cannot envision a benevolent, mythical figure being of another ethnicity.
“I know it’s a busy time of year, but we need to settle a little debate that’s emerged in American media asking, ‘Are you white? Are you black? When you come in from the North Pole, do you have a legal visa or are you undocumented?’” Harris-Perry asked. “Can you find a kid if he lives in an apartment building not a house without a chimney? Can you find her in a homeless shelter?” She continued. “Why do you leave so many more trees under the big trees in the wealthy neighborhood and so few under the trees in the poor communities?”
The MSNBC host said that, in her mixed race family, it was important to share with children depictions of figures they can aspire to emulate which remind them of themselves.
“If we cannot imagine you as racially different from ourselves, it’s because our minds are stunted by a history that still can’t fathom benevolence, and kindness, and intimacy in the bodies of those who are not like us,” Harris-Perry asserted. “If we still doubt that you can embody every possibility of racial being, it is because we do not yet believe that every racial body is capable of making our sugar plum dreams come true.”
“If we can’t imagine Santa across the racial divide, no wonder we have trouble creating an america without a racial divide,” she concluded.

Florida Woman Brings Two Babies To Armed Robbery

Deputies in Marion County said a woman had her two babies with her when she took part in an armed robbery Wednesday.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said the robbery happened around 12:30 a.m. along N.E. 13th Street, in Ocala.
Deputies said Danielle Johnson, 20, Matthew Allison Thomas, 18, Christian Trudel, 19, and a juvenile, all of Ocala, were in a truck along with Johnson’s two babies when they arrived at the home they allegedly robbed.
Detectives said the victims told them Thomas and the juvenile got out of the truck and robbed them while holding a gun on them, sometimes pointing the gun directly at the head of one of the victims. The victims told deputies the suspects took cash, marijuana and a paintball gun.
Investigators said the victims recognized Johnson and later that day all four suspects were arrested and charged with robbery with a firearm. Deputies are searching for a fifth suspect.
Johnson and Thomas were booked into the Marion County Jail with a bond amount of $50,000 each. The juvenile is in the Marion Regional Juvenile Detention Center and has no bond.

The supreme court in the southern Italian town of Catanzaro ruled that it was a ‘real relationship’, according to local media reports.
The young girl is said to be from a disadvantaged background and was in the care of a man who works for the town’s social services department.
However, police raided the man’s seaside villa to find the pair naked in bed together.
The man was given a five-year sentence for sexual violence against a minor, as the age of consent is 14 and rises to 16 when one of the partners is in position of authority or care over the younger participant.
However, the child sex victim reportedly claimed to be in love with the elderly man and the court ruled the pair have a ‘romantic relationship’.
The case is being sent back to the Catanzaro court for a retrial and there are expected to be several levels of appeal before a sentence is confirmed.
Wikipedia says age of consent in Italy is 14. This girl is 11. The law SAYS SHE CANNOT CONSENT. WHAT THE UNHOLY HELL?!!!?

Part of the fallout from Beyoncé’s secret album release is that she ruined other artists projected chart positions.
Take for instance country music titan Garth Brooks. He was projected to have the number one album on the Billboard chart with his box set Blame It All On My Roots: Five Decades Of Influences. But then Beyoncé goes and drops her fifth studio album without warning late Thursday night/early Friday morning, and the over 80,000 copies she sold in the first three hours puts her more than halfway there with Brooks’ projected 160,000.
With only three full days of sales, King Bey is still projected to top the December 18th Billboard Top 200 chart.

The former neighborhood watchman, who was acquitted of murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin last July, will be packing his bags in the coming weeks, according to TMZ.
He had been facing charges for a domestic dispute reported by his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, on Nov. 18. She had accused him of pointing a shotgun at her and breaking her belongings.
However, Zimmerman later filed a signed affidavit from Scheibe that said she didn’t want him charged with aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief. Shortly thereafter, prosecutors said they would not pursue the charges.
According to TMZ’s report, the 30-year-old has not said where he will go once he leaves Florida.
Zimmerman is originally from Manassas, Va. He moved to Florida after he graduated high school, where he worked at an insurance agency for several years.

Officials at the school in Rio Rancho, about 15 miles north of Albuquerque, said Saturday that the teacher recently was disciplined for his comments to the student, but they declined to say how.
The move came after students at Cleveland High School were told they could come to class dressed as Santa, an elf or a reindeer.
Michael Rougier told KOB-TV his ninth-grade son, Christopher, arrived wearing a Santa hat and beard, and the teacher asked the boy: “Don’t you know Santa Clause is white? Why are you wearing that?”
Michael Rougier said the teacher’s comments enraged him.
“There’s no room for that in the classroom,” he said. “Whether this teacher felt Christopher may have been wearing this out of context, there’s no room for it. There’s just no room for it.”
The incident happened the same week that Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly said on the air that both Santa Claus and Jesus were white. Her comments drew national attention and prompted a slew of heated comments on blogs and social media sites.
A spokeswoman for Rio Rancho Public Schools told The Associated Press that the Cleveland High School teacher knows he made a “stupid mistake” and has since apologized to the Rougier family.
“The remark was inappropriate and should not have been made. The teacher feels very badly about what occurred,” district spokeswoman Kim Vesely told the AP in an email. “He self-reported the incident to the principal and has apologized to the student and to the student’s parent. Appropriate disciplinary action has been taken.”
Michael Rougier said he still has concerns about the teacher. “If he has that attitude, how is it affecting students, studies, grading habits, trending toward Caucasian kids?” Rougier said.
The teacher still works at Cleveland, but Christopher has been removed from his class at his family’s request, Vesely said.
It’s sad so many adults are debating over the race of a fictional character. SANTA IS NOT REAL!
