Drake’s charming ways are paying off. He’s getting all of the ladies.

Now, we all know last week, he was throwing dollar bills at a Houston strip club with Rihanna, but it seems as though Lenny Kravitz daughter Zoe has caught Drizzy’s eye as well. Last night, Drake was spotted arriving at Gjelina restaurant in Venice with the young actress/musician for a romantic dinner date.

According to our spies, they were seated outside on the patio where Zoe drank wine, laughed a lot and was full of smiles. Meanwhile, Drakes bodyguard sat on the inside of the restaurant making sure no photos were taken. When dinner was over, Drake was a gentlemen and waited for Zoe outside of the restroom before they exited the restaurant together.

Photos have also emerged of Zoe hanging out on Drake’s tour bus this past weekend.

Do you like these two as a couple? They’d definitely have some lil light-skinned half-Jewish creative babies…

Republicans just won’t let President Obama be great.

Obama Court Pick Blocked Again

It’s not about trying to hinder the goal of the Obama administration, but about doing what’s best for the country.

According to NY Times reports:

Senate Republicans on Monday blocked President Obama’s third consecutive nominee to the country’s most powerful and prestigious appeals court and insisted they would not back down, inflaming a bitter debate over a president’s right to shape the judiciary.

By a vote of 53 to 38, the Senate failed to break a filibuster of Robert L. Wilkins, a federal judge who was nominated to fill one of three vacancies on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, falling seven votes short of the 60 needed. Two Republicans — Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine — voted with the Democrats.

The impasse over Mr. Wilkins followed Republican blockades of two other candidates for the court since Oct. 31. Unlike previous fights over judicial nominees, the dispute is not as much about the judges’ individual political leanings as it is about the overall ideological makeup of the court. Republicans have raised few objections to the three candidates’ qualifications or legal positions.

Rather, Republicans are seeking to prevent Mr. Obama from filling any of the three existing vacancies on the 11-seat court, fearing that he will alter its conservative tilt. The court has immense political importance because it often rules on questions involving White House and federal agency policy.

Democrats accused Republicans of exercising a nakedly political double standard for confirming presidential nominees.

“Appointing judges to fill vacant judicial seats is not court-packing,” Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the Democratic majority leader, said Monday. “It’s a president’s right as well as his duty.”

After the vote, Mr. Obama issued a statement saying he was being held to an unfair standard. “Four of my predecessor’s six nominees to the D.C. Circuit were confirmed,” he said. “Four of my five nominees to this court have been obstructed.”

Mr. Obama added, “The American people and our judicial system deserve better.”

The Republican Party is like Chris Breezy: they just can’t get right.

George Zimmerman Juror Says He Belongs In Prison

It took George Zimmerman pointing a gun on his estranged wife and girlfriend for the juror to speak up?

According to TMZ:

How’s this for irony … George Zimmerman belongs in prison … this, coming from one of the jurors in the Trayvon Martin case who kept him OUT of prison.

Juror B29 — who identifies herself as Maddy — tells TMZ, she always had a bad feeling about Zimmerman, despite finding him not guilty of murdering Trayvon … a verdict she begrudgingly reached through a strict interpretation of the law.

Now, she says Zimmerman’s domestic violence arrest is proof he’s not freedom-worthy … “God is showing George’s true side … [George] is continuing to dig himself a bigger grave.”

The juror believes Zimmerman will continue to commit violent acts until someone lays down the law … telling us, “He NEEDS to do some type of time … He thinks he is invincible.”

Where was this common sense during his trial when it mattered?

Kelly Clarkson Pregnant With First Child

The Clarkson family just got a little bigger.

According to US Weekly reports:

Guess all that “practice” paid off! Kelly Clarkson is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock, she announced via Twitter on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

The 31-year-old American Idol alum, who married Blackstock on Oct. 20, has been very vocal in recent weeks about wanting to have a baby.

“More than anything, next I want a baby. Lots of them!” she gushed to Us Weekly before her wedding. “My record label is freaking out because all I can talk about now are babies. We’re really excited and want to get our family started.”

“I’m 31 and we’d like to do it the natural way. My eggs aren’t getting any younger!” she quipped. “So we’re really excited.”

And they’re not the only ones. “[Brandon] has two kids that I love and they are cool with it,” she added, referring to her husband’s children, Savannah, 11, and Seth, 7, from a previous relationship. “We got the A-okay from them so we are ready to go. That’s definitely the next big project we’re going to start on.”

She wasn’t kidding. On Monday, Nov. 11, she played coy when asked by Jay Leno if she was pregnant, telling him only that they weren’t “announcing anything right now” but were having sex “like rabbits” in the meantime.

“[We want a baby] like now! Practice makes perfect!” she told Leno, laughing. “We do, we do. We’re trying, trying, trying. We have two kids, and they’re so great. And I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five.”

Hopefully, the baby inherits mommy’s talent. Congrats again.

Now that he has finally gotten through divorce drama with ex-wife Siovaughn, he can stop watching his back and stack more bread.

According to Vibe reports:

Dwayne Wade’s influence is spilling off the basketball court and he’ll soon be able to add executive producer to his resume. The Miami Heat baller’s best-selling memoir, A Father First, has inspired a comedy TV series that will be housed on Fox. In the book, Wade talks about the rewarding aspects of fatherhood and his own experiences with his sons Zaire and Zion.

The book adaptation — of whom writer Ben Watkins is partly responsible — will be called “Three The Hard Way.”

No due date has been set, but we’ll keep you posted as details roll in.

Woman Bites Man’s Peen During Fight

She said if she couldn’t have the peen, no one could.

According to the Athens Banner-Herald:

Athens-Clarke County police said they arrested a woman and her father early Monday following an altercation in which the woman allegedly bit her boyfriend’s peen.

Officers responded to a home on Magnolia Terrace at about 12:45 a.m. on the victim’s complaint that he was attacked by his girlfriend and father at the residence where all three live, police said.

The victim alleged that 27-year-old Sade Rene Greene “scratched him in the chest, neck, and also bit his peen through his pants,” according to a police incident report.

During the fight, 52-year-old Ricky Levell Greene allegedly punched the victim in the mouth.

When officers arrived at the residence they found the victim shirtless in the street, with scratches on his body and bleeding from a split lower lip, according to police.

The victim did not say what instigated the fight.

Ricky Greene told officers his daughter and the victim had been arguing earlier in the day.

After telling them to knock it off, he went somewhere with a friend, according to police.

When he returned home, police said Greene claimed his daughter told him she had been attacked by her boyfriend, who allegedly pulled her by the hair and pushed her onto a bed.

The elder Greene claimed that while he and the victim argued, his daughter tried to get between them when the victim pulled a gun and pointed it at him, according to police.

Ricky Greene, who reportedly was highly intoxicated, stated that the boyfriend fled from the home after he told him “if he was going to point a gun on him that he needed to pull the trigger,” according to police.

The daughter told police that a gun was never involved in the altercation.

Sade and Ricky Greene were each charged with battery under the state Family Violence Act and later released from the Clarke County Jail after posting a $1,500 bond.

Rupert Murdoch’s Young Ex-Wife Gets To Keep $44 Million Apartment

It pays to marry—and divorce—Rupert Murdoch. In June the 82-year-old billionaire and News Corporation owner announced that he and his wife of fourteen years, Wendi Deng, were divorcing. According to Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal, the ex-couple settled the terms of their separation in a Manhattan court today, one of which gives 44-year-old Deng the couple’s $44 million Upper East Side penthouse, which overlooks the lower half of Central Park.

Flanked by their lawyers, Mr. and Mrs. Murdoch attended a hearing at the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan to present their settlement before a judge. After the formalities, the couple shook hands with their lawyers and embraced briefly. [...]

As part of the settlement, Mrs. Murdoch will be awarded the Fifth Avenue apartment the couple bought in 2005 for $44 million, people familiar with the situation say.
Given the forum—Murdoch considers the Journal one of his empire’s crown jewels—there’s almost certainly more to this story.

Jokes aside, and hatred of Murdoch aside, give me one good reason why she deserves to get a $44,000,000 apartment that she clearly had nothing to do with earning.

Jameis Winston’s DNA Found In Alleged Rape Victim’s Underwear

A DNA analysis completed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Tuesday confirmed that DNA provided by Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston matched the sample taken from the underwear of the woman who has accused him of sexual battery.

According to the DNA analysis report, a copy of which was viewed by ESPN.com on Wednesday, the Florida state crime lab determined the chance of the DNA in the woman’s underwear being a match for someone other than Winston was one in 2.2 trillion.

Police obtained a sexual assault kit on Dec. 7, 2012, when the accuser reported the alleged incident had occurred at an off-campus apartment. Winston’s DNA was recently obtained through a buccal swab he provided to authorities investigating the case.

The DNA match alone does not prove that Winston, a leading Heisman Trophy candidate, sexually assaulted the woman, as the accuser’s family claimed in a statement released Wednesday by a Tampa, Fla.-based attorney. But it does indicate that Winston, who has yet to talk to Tallahassee police or the state attorney investigating the case, had his DNA associated with the accuser on Dec. 7, 2012, when the accuser said she was sexually assaulted.

William Meggs, the state attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit, said his office is still investigating the case, which was referred to his office by Tallahassee police only last week.

Says Winston’s attorney:

“We have professionally tried to maintain the dignity of an investigation,” said Tim Jansen, Winston’s attorney. “However, either the Tallahassee Police Department or Mr. Meggs’ office has decided they’re going to improperly leak evidence to the media. We are saddened to learn that someone has decided to leak evidence to the public before Mr. Meggs has had time to make a decision. The improperly leaked report, if true, has zero impact on Mr. Winston’s defense, and Mr. Winston maintains his innocence. We voluntarily submitted DNA last week.”

Winston said he has also submitted affidavits from two individuals, who allege they were with Winston and the accuser on the night of the incident.

“We have turned over our affidavits and we’re confident in the witnesses who were there,” Jansen said.

Clearly, this doesn’t mean that Jameis raped this woman, but boy, oh boy does he have some ‘splainin’ to do…

Craig Cobb’s Home Vandalized By Fellow White Supremacist

Oh, the irony.

According to LA Times:

He came, he saw, he tried to conquer. Instead, he got arrested: Craig Cobb’s attempts to turn Leith, N.D., into a white-supremacist enclave have hit a wall now that he’s in a local jail, accused of terrorizing townsfolk.

But there’s a new, ironic twist to his thwarted takeover attempt. You might even call it a case of reverse racism. The local prosecutor says a fellow white supremacist had apparently targeted Cobb with racial graffiti after he’d found out that Cobb’s DNA results said he was part black.

“The individual in question was interviewed, and when his interview answers weren’t matching up, he essentially admitted it,” Grant County Assistant State’s Atty. Todd Schwarz told the Los Angeles Times. “The one that tipped it off — he painted on the house, ‘BACK IN BLACK,’ and he’s not an AC/DC fan.”

Cobb and Dutton “had a falling out” with the other supremacist the day news of Cobb’s DNA results broke, said Schwarz, who wouldn’t identify the man but said he was “not real mentally stable” and left town the same day. Schwarz said the investigation into the graffiti incident is ongoing.

Schwarz said he thought Cobb knew he’d been targeted by his own man, so when Cobb went on his armed patrol four days later, he did so with a “manufactured” excuse of harassment.

That, in addition to Cobb and Dutton’s loose ties to the community — ostensibly making them flight risks — led Schwarz to ask the local judge to hold both men without bond, which the judge granted. They are charged with seven felony counts of “terrorizing” the town. Five of the counts are gun-related and carry a mandatory minimum of two years in prison, Schwarz said.

“I’ve got a small community that is absolutely justified in being in fear of this man and his escalation,” Schwarz said. Of the graffiti incident, he added with a laugh, “‘Back in black’ — there’s got to be some irony in it.”
