After a breastfeeding mother says she was mistreated, a group of mothers staged a “nurse-in” Wednesday evening. Knoxville mother Jennifer Day says a worker at the Turkey Creek Chick-fil-A expressed concern about her breastfeeding. “Just as I was finishing up, an employee came up and told me other parents were afraid of letting their children play while I was feeding her especially without a cover,” said Day.
Protesters say they wanted to educate more people about Tennessee’s law that protects nursing moms. “We want everyone to feel safe. We want nursing mothers to feel safe because what is more family then a mother and her baby and this is a family restaurant,” said nurse-in organizer Anna Hurley.
The group says this “nurse-in” was not intended to embarrass or punish the Turkey Creek Chick-fil-A. The women say they simply want to remedy the mistake.
“We just want to normalize breastfeeding. We just want society to change their views,” said Hurley. 6 News reached out to Chick-fil-A, and a restaurant spokesperson issued this statement: “The manager has apologized and regrets any offense he may have caused.”
First gay people and now Chick-fil-A has pissed off breastfeeding moms. SMH.

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr had a unique way of watching the birth of his son: FaceTime.
The Cowboys had arrived at Los Angeles International Airport early Monday morning after the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio, when Carr got word his fiancée was in labor. Carr flew to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to be with her but couldn’t get back in time, so he dialed up his iPhone.
“I saw everything I needed to see,” Carr told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “I saw it all. Technology is wonderful these days. Sometimes you can’t control what’s going to happen. You’ve just got to go with the flow. I made the most of it.”
Carr eventually made it to Dallas to be with his fiancée and newborn son, Austin, missing two days of practice.
“No sleep at all, but I wouldn’t want it any other way,” said Carr, who’s expected to play in Friday’s preseason game against the Oakland Raiders. “It was a good feeling to be there and actually see your first son. I’m still trying to gather my thoughts and bring it all in. The last two days have been good. It’s a blessed feeling.”
Congratulations sir…this is gonna be one helluva story to tell your seed one day.

Dead Baby Found In Restroom Of Kohl’s Department Store
According to Wave 3 News:
Louisville Metro police are investigating after a dead baby was discovered inside of a department store. It happened inside the Kohl’s located at 11811 Standiford Plaza Drive off of Preston Highway in Hillview. Police say the baby appeared to be near-term, but they aren’t sure if it was still born or if the baby passed away after birth. Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Alicia Smiley says there were no obvious signs of trauma.
“It kind of eery to know that you just walked into a store where that happened at,” said Jennifer Hall, shopper. At first shoppers weren’t exactly sure what was going inside the Kohl’s when police and EMS showed up at the store. “The only thing that we had seen was we were not allowed to go into the restroom, so police have got it all blocked off,” said Sherry Johnson, shopper.
What Johnson didn’t realize was the body of a baby was found inside that restroom. “You’re going to make me cry,” said Johnson. “If I thought it was a baby. No, no it’s not good.”
Initial reports indicated the baby was found in a trash can, but Smiley could not confirm. It’s still unclear who the mother is and if the baby was delivered in the store or brought there.
“We will have to await the coroner and the medical examiner to see exactly whether or not this baby was fully to term, also whether or not it was still born, whether or not it had actually lived at that point, those are details we just don’t have because it is so early in the investigation,” said Smiley.
Kohl’s did not want to comment beyond saying they are cooperating with police leading the investigation.

Despite laying low since the birth of her daughter North West, Kim Kardashian HAS been filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians while living with momager Kris Jenner, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Cameras have been “a constant presence in Kris’ house since Kim and Kanye brought North home from the hospital. Kanye has been angry about the intrusion, but Kim is contractually obligated to film,” a family insider told Radar.
“The baby hasn’t been filmed close up, but has been captured at a distance while Kim has been holding her. North’s temporary nursery has also been filmed, when Kanye wasn’t around. There is no doubt that Kim would want to have North appear on the show, if Kanye wasn’t so opposed to it.
She is a great mom, and totally devoted to her baby.”
