The gay community takes another hit.

Men Attack Gay Couple

Two thugs were arrested today for attacking a gay couple in SoHo, just hours after demonstrators filled the streets of the nearby West Village to protest the hate-crime shooting death of another gay man, cops said.

Steven Dixon, 42, and Michael Coleman, 41 were walking along Broadway near Houston Street at about 5 a.m. when two men started yelling anti-gay remarks in English and Spanish.

Both suspects repeatedly punched Dixon, causing lacerations and swelling and pain to his right eye.

After canvassing the area, cops arrested Fabian Ortiz, 32 and Pedro Jimenez, 23, and charged them with assault as a hate crime, a felony.

Cops are also investigating an attack last night in the East Village on a gay party promoter who was pummeled by an attacker who yelled f*****t as he kicked and beat Dan Contarino at Avenue D and 4th Street, witnesses told a web site, Nightlifegay.com.

Both attacks came within hours of a Monday evening rally where activists and gay-rights supporters marched through the West Village to condemn the death of 32-year-old Mark Carson, who was shot and killed in what police said was a bias attack.

Carson was killed Saturday as he walked through the West Village with a male companion. The suspect, Elliot Morales, was charged with murder as a hate crime, police said.

“We are shocked and angry to learn that yesterday, just hours after marching with thousands of people through Greenwich Village to stand up against hate crimes, at least two New Yorkers were attacked on the streets of Manhattan simply because they were perceived to be gay,” council speaker Christine Quinn said in a statement she released with council members Margaret Chin and Rosie Mendez.

“We will not retreat in fear. New Yorkers are galvanized to take action and determined to stand up in the face of hatred.

It’s dangerous to be a gay man in New York.

This is not a good week for O.J. Simpson.

O.J. Simpson Threatened Ex-Girlfriend

According to Radar Online

He reemerged into public much heavier, noticeably older and still after all these years a curiosity. And in the wake of O.J. Simpson’s appearance, now the characters from his past are returning.

Enter Christie Prody, the blonde, vaguely Nicole Brown-like figure who was O.J.’s long-time girlfriend during the years after his acquittal for the murders of his ex wife and Ron Goldman in 1994.

Prody, ever the hanger-on with her own problems, now comes forward in a new interview and claims that O.J. threatened her, alluding to the infamous murders.

“He would say things to me like, ‘You better watch out so something bad doesn’t happen to you like Nicole,’” she tells Inside Edition in an interview airing Tuesday.

“I was young and so he could try to shape me, mold me, into what he wanted.”

Prody, 38, claims that O.J. told her to dye her hair blonde like Nicole’s. (Her hair is now back to brunette.) She was 21 when she first met the now imprisoned former NFL star and he was 46.

“It was very hard to deal with that every day, comparing me to Nicole,” she says, according to the New York Post. She added that Simpson would say, “Nicole did this, Nicole did that. You should do this, that’s what she did.”

They spent 12 years together and neither was adverse to the party lifestyle, a source told Radar.

“She had her problems that’s for sure. Some were made public and some weren’t,” one source familiar with the situation told Radar. “She liked the fame and O.J. had money. There was a lot of partying going on.”

Simpson was seen in public last week for the first time in years as he was granted a hearing in a bid to overturn the conviction that landed him in a Nevada prison after his 2008 arrest for robbery. He claims his lawyer botched the case.

Prody, who hasn’t seen him in five years, says she was shocked at how much weight O.J. has gained

“I had to take a double take,” she tells Inside Edition. “I can’t believe he’s gotten a lot bigger and very grey since I last saw him.

“Image was the most important thing to him. Being good looking was important to him. And even more so, the girl on his arm had to be good looking.”

She still sees the old O.J. though.

“O.J. is very charming,” she says in the interview. “He’s very charming and he tells you what you want to hear. He’s very believable.”

Perhaps to some people.

If he told us something bad might happen to us like Nicole, we would have popped him in his head.

Man Hacks 40 Email Accounts To Spy On Ex-Girlfriend

According to Raw Story

An NYPD detective was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly spying on more than 40 email accounts, including 21 of his fellow officers.

NBC 4 New York reported that Edwin Vargas, 42, was questioned last month for stalking his ex-girlfriend online. Vargas suspected his ex-girlfriend had been cheating on him.

According to a FBI press release, Vargas allegedly paid an e-mail hacking service more than $4,000 to obtain the log-in credentials of at least 43 personal email accounts and one cellular phone belonging to at least 30 different individuals. Of those 30 individuals, 19 were current NYPD officers, one was a retired NYPD officer, and one was on the NYPD’s administrative staff.

Vargas was also accused of accessing a federal crime database to obtain information about two NYPD officers without authorization.

“When law enforcement officers break the laws they are sworn to uphold, they do a disservice to their fellow officers, to the department, and to the public they serve, and it will not be tolerated,” Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said.

Vargas has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit computer hacking and one count of computer hacking. Each count carries a maximum one-year sentence.

NYPD officials told the Wall Street Journal he has been suspended with pay.

Nikki Sixx took another shot at Kim Kardashian‘s oblivious product plug as the Oklahoma tornado tragedy unfolded Monday night and RadarOnline.com has his exclusive dig at the reality star.

After Nikki posted an ad for Red Cross relief on his Instagram and pregnant Kim wrote about her tanning products he slammed her shortly thereafter, calling her out for not respecting the dire situation.

“Pick your priority or pick your poison. Pretty embarrassing screenshot Kim. Aren’t your 15 minutes up?” the Motley Crue wildman wrote.

On Tuesday he told RadarOnline.com exclusively why he called out Kim for her insensitively timed note, which read: “Love that I can gradually build the perfect bronzed glow I want with #Kardashian Sun Kissed Tan Extenders.”

Seven hours after Kim posted the bronzer plug she posted a picture to her Instagram account that read: “Praying for Oklahoma” with a heart drawn over the state flag.

Nikki explained why he was so irate with Kim, telling RadarOnline.com: “My heart goes out to everybody in Oklahoma.

“We all have to stand united INCLUDING MOST IMPORTANTLY “CELEBRITIES” WHO HAVE THE POWER TO REACH A LOT OF PEOPLE VIA SOCIAL MEDIA & do what we can to RAISE AWARENESS AND help those affected by the tornado & their families.”

Referencing Kim’s power “to reach a lot of people via social media,” she has a whopping 17.8 million followers on Twitter and 8.4 million followers on Instagram.

Kordell is calling his estranged wife Porsha out on her claims he locked her out the crib!

The split between Kordell and Porsha Stewart just got uglier.

Earlier this week, Porsha claimed Kordell locked her out of the home they share (although they are divorcing) by unexpectedly changing the locks. Well, Kordell is calling BS and has filed paperwork to prove it.

In the paperwork obtained by HipHollywood exclusively, Kordell states that while he did change the locks on their home, it was because Porsha, “abandoned the marital home on April 2nd, 2013.” Stewart goes on to say, “(Porsha) established a routine of leaving (the) pre-marital residence without explanation and without consideration of the detrimental effects such behavior would have on the parties’ marriage , and (Kordell’s) nine year old son.”

Wait, there’s more. On top of all of that, Kordell said he DID try to tell Porsha he was changing the locks via text message.

“Hey reaching out not knowing who may or may not have keys to the house at this point, I was concerned for our safety so I changed the locks on the house. If and when you need to get in give me a heads up so you can get in”, the text, which we’ve seen, reads.

Lastly, Kordell goes in on the fact that Porsha claims she’s staying with her mother until a suitable residence can be found. “She is a celebrity, and has the income through appearances, endorsements, Bravo and other entities …(Porsha) should be capable of supporting herself but may not be able to as a result of her own financial negligence.”

Listen, we’re inclined to believe that Kordell is kind of a jerk — but he does have a point about Porsha being able to provide her own residence.

Jay-Z And Beyonce To Perform At Chime For Change Charity Concert

They’ve often spontaneously performed together during their solo shows, and Jay-Z is keeping up that tradition, by taking to the stage with Beyoncé at the Chime For Change concert.

The 43-year old rapper is rumoured to be joining his wife – who is headlining the show at Twickenham Stadium in London – to help put a spotlight on girls’ and womens’ issues.

Also rumoured to be taking on a presenting role is pop icon Madonna.

Madonna said on the Chime for Change website: ’60 percent of the children in the world not in school, are girls. 2/3 of the world’s illiterate are women.

The charity – set up by Gucci – has put on the concert in conjunction with The Sound Of Change Live which aims to raise awareness of education, health and justice for women everywhere.

Tickets are priced at £55 and all sales go directly to projects the campaign supports.

Each ticket holder will receive a Sound Of Change voucher with which they can choose a charitable project to take part in.

Recently ex-members of Bad Boy girl group Danity Kane grabbed lunch in LA and talked a possible reunion. The problem? One person was missing… D.Woods!

The former member did a radio interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.5 and expressed how she felt to be left out the reunion by her old gal pals…

“I was surprised myself. (laughs) However, after seeing the pictures, after seeing the clip of the video, I saw that they were in Los Angeles. I am not in Los Angeles, so there goes the reason why I wasn’t in the picture. I’m actually in Atlanta right now. I’m in pre-production rehearsals for the new musical called “Rebirth.” That’s what I’m currently doing right now as we speak.

“I found out when my Twitter timeline went off the chain.”

“I mean we did go our separate ways in fall of 2008. And since then I’ve been really putting my energy towards these other projects.”

The invite to Kim K’s June 2nd bash — sent to a guest close to Kanye West — arrived as a fully functional music box, complete with a spinning ballerina … dancing to a lullaby version of Kanye’s “Hey Mama.”

Not only is the invite playing the baby daddy’s tune, but the ballerina bears a striking resemblance to Kim herself — just in case anyone forgets who this party is REALLY celebrating.

In a recent interview with The Grio, Ray J. talks about the his ~~smash~~ struggle song “I Hit It First” and claims he’s got nothing but love for Kimmy’s future baby daddy:

“When me and my friends did the song I was just kinda joking around, and then it kinda got out and now it has a mind of its own.

This time, the person delivering said slander happened to be Frances Cobain, daughter of music industry train-wreck wild card Courtney Love and late Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain.

On Tuesday, the 17-year old model Tweeted “just wish things could be easier sometimes,” a mysterious message that got the daughter of Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain all riled up.

“@KendallJenner oh shh,” Frances Tweeted back. “There are kids on earth abandoned&homeless who forcibly drink contaminated water because clean water isn’t accessible.”

Not to mention victims of the Oklahoma tornado, an event that had just taken place at the time of Jenner’s whining.

Cobain went on to list other legitimate problems across the globe – cancer, poverty, death – before referring to humans as “self-involved” and then taking a clear shot at Kris Jenner:

“I’d like to thank my parents for providing me with a high IQ & I’d like to thank my grams for encouraging me not to be a self absorbed idiot.”

In conclusion, aware of her reputation, Frances Tweeted that she’d “rather be a scumbag than a f**king idiot.”

Call us crazy, but despite who her parents are, this girl seems to not be lacking in the common sense area. Plus, she does make some pretty valid points. Just saying.
