Shots Fired Near J. Lo Music Video Set

According to TMZ

Jennifer Lopez — wearing a tiny bikini — was escorted off the set of a music video shoot in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend after three gunshots rang out right near the production.

Lopez seemed very cool, calm and collected as her BF Casper Smart walked her to a nearby trailer.

Police say the incident occurred at the northernmost point of the Ft. Lauderdale Beach Park … while Lopez and Pitbull were shooting the video in the southernmost end of the park.

The Miami Herald quotes security officials saying Lopez was “secured inside her vehicle” at the time of the incident … but a reporter for “ET” says he was interviewing Lopez when the shots were fired and “security scrambled her away.”

When cops arrived to the scene, a witness told police he saw the shooter. So far, no arrests have been made.

We don’t want a repeat of 1999 with you running for your life as bullets fly pass your head. Glad to see she has upgraded her security since then because Casper is no Diddy. He can’t protect you.

Otis Nixon Arrested For Crack Possession

According to TMZ

Former MLB star Otis Nixon was arrested over the weekend in Atlanta after cops say they discovered a crack pipe and what appeared to be several crack rocks inside his car … and it seems he’s using the infamous “the crack belongs to my son” defense.

According to an incident report from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, 54-year-old Nixon was pulled over just after midnight on Saturday after witnesses called police to report a Dodge Ram weaving all over the road.

During the stop, Nixon — who played for the Braves, Indians and Expos — was searched … and cops say they found a pipe for smoking crack cocaine in Nixon’s pants pocket and an item believed to be a crack rock in the driver’s seat.

But that’s not all … cops say they found ANOTHER pipe and more suspected crack rocks in the floor board of the driver’s side … along with even more drug paraphernalia.

Now get this — according to the report, Nixon told the sheriff’s deputy that the substance they found in his car was indeed crack cocaine, but he said the pipes and drugs belonged to HIS SON and that he had been planning to get rid of the pipe.

Police say they conducted field sobriety tests and determined Nixon was NOT under the influence of crack cocaine or alcohol.

Nixon was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of a drug-related object.

Nixon — who played 17 seasons in the bigs and stole 620 career bases — is still in custody. Bail has been set at $11,880.

We think this might be Nixon’s come to Jesus moment. When your caught by the police with crack in your car, you’ve hit rock bottom.

Trey Songz Off The Hook In Assault Case

According to TMZ

Trey Songz is officially off the hook in his strip club assault case … after prosecutors decided they couldn’t prove the rapper smacked a woman in the face WITH CASH during an album release party last August … TMZ has learned.

We broke the story … Songz was arrested for assault in NY after a woman at Club Perfection told cops Trey threw a “sum of United States currency” at her face, “causing substantial pain to her left eye.”

It’s unclear if the woman was a stripper … or just one of those sexy waitresses that don’t get naked (so disappointing, right?).

Officials investigated the incident … and ultimately determined they couldn’t prove he did anything illegal, so Trey is in the clear.

But the Queens D.A.’s office tells TMZ … even if Trey did throw cash, “There would be no clear case of misconduct. There was just no high level of recklessness.”

We glad Trey is off the hook, cause somebody was going to toss that salad in jail.

Air Force Man Charged With Groping

According to The NY Post

The Air Force’s top man in charge of sexual-assault prevention was busted for allegedly groping a woman in suburban Washington D.C., police said today.

A drunken Lt. Col. Jeff Krusinski “approached a female victim in a parking lot and grabbed her breasts and buttocks,” according to a report by the Arlington County police.

The alleged groping happened in the 500 block of 23rd Street in Crystal City at 12:35 a.m. yesterday, cops said.

“The victim fought the suspect off as he attempted to touch her again and alerted police,” according to Arlington County cops.

Krusinski, 41, of Arlington, Va., was removed from his position as head of the branch’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office, Air Force spokeswoman Natasha Waggoner said.

“This report is extremely disturbing. It is clear that the status quo regarding sexual assaults in the military is simply unacceptable,” said US Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY).

The New York lawmaker said she’ll propose reforms next week, aimed at taking decisions on sexual assault cases outside the normal chain of command.

“We have to reform how the military handles sexual assault cases and take on the culture that perpetuates this kind of behavior,” said Gillibrand, who held hearings in March on sexual assaults in the military.

Krusinski, booked on suspicion of misdemeanor sexual battery, posted a $5,000 bond and was released.

He did not know the victim, cops said.

It wasn’t immediately clear why Krusinski had the cuts and bruises on his face in his booking mugshot.

Krusinski’s arraignment is set for Thursday.

The Air Force, on its Web site, described the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program as a program that “reinforces the Air Force’s commitment to eliminate incidents of sexual assault through awareness and prevention training, education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and accountability.”

The description continues: “Sexual assault is criminal conduct. It falls well short of the standards America expects of its men and women in uniform.”

Joe Francis Convicted Of Assault

“Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis has just been found guilty of assault — and a slew of other charges — after attacking a woman in his Hollywood mansion back in 2011.

The L.A. City Attorney just made the announcement … Francis was convicted on five charges total, including assault, three counts of false imprisonment, and one count of dissuading a witness from reporting.

Francis was charged back in 2011 after three women accused him of taking them to his Hollywood home — following a night out — and refusing to let them leave. He was also accused of attacking one of the women, choke-slamming her head into his tile floor.

Francis faces up to 5 years in jail. A sentencing scheduling hearing is set for this week.

Good riddance. Should we be surprised? He makes money off of exploiting young women on a daily basis. Nobody should be shocked that he put his hands on a woman.

Man Has Surgery To Remove 134-Pound Scrotum

A man living in Las Vegas with a rare medical condition that caused his scrotum to reach 134 pounds is now recovering after having it removed.

For five painful years, Wesley Warren Jr. watched his scrotum slowly swell into a 134-pound mass that hung to his ankles. It all started with a bad dream.

“I went to the ER and they treated it as though I had some kind of infection,” Warren said, recalling a course of antibiotics that had no effect on the bulging mass. “I went to other doctors, and no one was able to figure out anything to for me. They’d refer me to another doctor or surgeon, but because I don’t have insurance or the financial means to pay for these folks on demand, the appointment would be six weeks away or three months away.”

Without a diagnosis or any hope of a cure, Warren, who lives off of disability benefits in Las Vegas, turned to radio host Howard Stern for help, soliciting donations to the email address benefitballsack@yahoo.com.

Warren used money from “The Howard Stern Show” listeners to travel from Las Vegas to Irvine, Calif., where on April 8 Gelman removed the 134-pound mass in a 13-hour surgery.

“Some of the veins in the mass were a quarter-inch in diameter,” Gelman said, recalling the lengthy and risky procedure to remove the mass in one giant piece. “With the fluid and other tissues, I would say the total weight he was carrying around probably exceeded 160 pounds.”

Warren, who is still recovering at a nursing home in Orange, Calif., said he can finally wear normal underwear and pants, but he’s not yet used to the dramatic change.

Warren said it doesn’t feel like he’s 160 pounds lighter, noting that he weighed about 500 pounds before the surgery.

We have to admit, it was pretty smart of him to reach out to Howard Stern for help. What a crazy story!

Falling from a cliff to your death is already horrible, but to be eaten by vultures? SMH.

Woman Eaten By Vultures After Falling From Cliff

The 52-year-old woman was hiking with her friends in the Pyrenees when she fell to her death, over 1,000 feet from the hiking trail.

Aggressive Griffon vultures consumed her entire body before she could be reached by rescue workers.

Rescue workers circled the area for around 45 minutes, trying to locate the hiker’s body.

Unfortunately it was too late. As reported by MSN, the woman was eaten by vultures before her body could be recovered.

By the time they found the woman, they could only recover her shoes, clothing and a few bones.

Major Didier Pericou states that the rescue workers noticed vultures circling the area, but they never thought they would find the woman before they did.

Aggressive vultures have become an increasing problem in France. Historically, the scavengers would feed on carcasses left by French farmers.

However, European safety and health regulations have changed through the years, making it illegal to leave animal carcasses out on the land.

As reported by IBT, Farmers are now forced to burn any animals that have died in their care, eliminating the food source.

Authorities think this may explain why the 52-year-old woman was eaten by the vultures.

As the vultures’ food has disappeared, they have been blamed for deadly attacks on livestock.

Over 40 farmers have filed claims for reimbursement.

Vultures are a protected species, so the farmers are forbidden from killing the aggressive birds.

Their protected status, along with depleted food sources, are causing some serious problems for french residents.

Some residents suggest that farmers should be allowed to leave the carcasses on the land, or should be given permission to shoot the vultures that threaten their animals.

Although the birds have grown increasingly aggressive, this has been the first report of a human being eaten by vultures.

Damn. Her family can’t even have a proper funeral because her body is gone.

Layzie Bone Arrested For Traffic Violations

According to TMZ

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper Layzie Bone was ARRESTED in Calabasas, CA today on warrants stemming from two traffic violations … TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us, Mr. Bone — real name Steven Howse — had an encounter with police at a hotel … and during the encounter, cops put his name through the system and discovered the warrants.

We’re told the warrants were issued after Bone failed to appear in court to address charges he had been driving on a suspended license.

Bone was hauled to the Lost Hills Sheriff’s station — where he was booked and eventually released on $80,000 bail.

On his way out of the station, Bone said he would “take care” of the warrants … because he “had no choice.”

He also told us Bone Thugs is putting together a new album … so, there’s that.

Get it together homie. Between the paternity suits and traffic violations, we would think you would be tired of dragging your a** back and forth to court.

Four Men Attack Gay Couple

The New York City Police Department is searching for four men who are suspected of attacking a gay couple after Sunday night’s basketball game between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers.

Nick Porto, 27, told DNAInfo that he was walking arm-in-arm with his partner, 22-year-old Kevin Atkins, on Eighth Avenue when four men attacked them.

The couple said that they were repeatedly punched and kicked. After the attack, the victims were rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where Porto was treated for a broken nose.

Although police have not classified the attack as a hate crime, Porto said that he had no doubt.

“I’ve never had a feeling like this before in the city,” he explained. “I didn’t know that it’s not over, that this sort of stuff still happens.”

“They called us f*****s,” Porto recalled. “They made fun of my jeans — I made the jeans myself, for that day.”

The NYPD released two surveillance photos of one of the four suspects early Tuesday morning. Investigators described him as a 6-foot-tall Hispanic man with brown hair and a tattoo on his left arm. He is seen wearing a white Knicks #7 jersey, a white T-shirt, blue hat and blue jeans.

Lil Kim Sued By Ex Business Manager

Lil Kim’s been slapped with a not-so-lil lawsuit by her former biz manager … who claims her money-grubbing, diva-like behavior cost him MILLIONS in botched endorsement deals.

Andrew Ro says his company, International Rock Star Corp, inked a licensing deal with Kim back in August 2012 and planned to roll out a slew of products, including a perfume line, clothing line, vodka drink, energy drink, Steve Madden shoe line and even a honey maker.

Problem is Ro says Kim was a menace to work with and often refused to come to project meetings unless she was being paid extra for her time — making it difficult to get anything off the ground.

Not only that, he says when a project was finally executed — like her perfume — Kim refused to promote the product and then stopped taking their phone calls.

After Kim cut contact, Ro says she fired off a cease and desist letter regarding future projects too … and then filed a lawsuit claiming IRS tricked her into a bad licensing deal.

Ro fired back with his own suit, claiming Lil Kim’s to blame and her antics cost his company $15 million.

A judge has yet to rule.

We doubt Lil Kim even has stacks to give away. She hasn’t had a hit in a minute.

Michael Jackson Accused Of Molestation Again

Michael Jackson has been posthumously accused of molesting a now-famous choreographer who spent lots of time with the singer at the Neverland Ranch … TMZ has learned.

TMZ has obtained legal docs … filed by Wade Robson … in which he’s asking for money from the Michael Jackson Estate for childhood sexual abuse.

Robson — now 30 years old — has worked with top names in pop music including Britney Spears, *NSYNC, Usher and P!nk. He has also appeared on “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Wade met Michael when he was 5 years old and they developed a friendship that lasted for years. By the time Wade was 7, he went for sleepovers at Neverland and MJ’s homes in L.A. and Vegas. The sleepovers continued until Wade was 14.

Wade even performed to a Michael Jackson song on “Star Search” when he was 8 years old.

In 2005, Wade testified in MJ’s molestation trial and DENIED Michael ever molested him.

Wade’s lawyer filed legal docs May 1 asking the judge in the Michael Jackson Estate case to allow him to file a late creditor’s claim against the Estate. In the documents, Wade’s lawyer says he submitted a never-before filed complaint “for childhood sexual abuse.”

Wade’s lawyer has filed the actual complaint under seal — which means it’s not available to the public. Sources tell TMZ … the complaint specifically outlines the alleged abuse at the hands of Michael Jackson.

Wade’s lawyer also mentions a psychiatrist who treated Wade — the doctor is a leader in the field of child psychology.

Interestingly … in the 2005 molestation trial, Jackson’s former housekeeper, Blanca Francia, testified she witnessed Jackson in the shower with Wade when the boy was 8 or 9 years old.

Escaped Convict Gets Breast Implants To Avoid Jail

An escaped Colombian convict got breast implants and dressed as a woman to avoid being sent back to jail, police said.

Giovanni Rebolledo — sentenced in 2012 to 60 years in prison for kidnapping, robbery and extortion — underwent surgery to become “Rosalinda.”

After his extreme makeover, he started working as a prostitute in the Viejo Prado district of the northern coastal city of Barranquilla.

But, despite his new appearance, police still recognized him Saturday during a routine stop-and-search.

He was arrested and paraded before the country’s media.

El Tiempo newspaper reports that Rebolledo, originally from the capital of Bogota, was jailed last year for his involvement in the Los Topos criminal gang.

The group allegedly used beautiful women to seduce wealthy men into coming home with them.

Once under the gang’s control, the men would be tortured with electric shocks into handing over bank cards, pin numbers and other valuables.

This is some deep ish. You have to be pretty desperate to work as a prostitute to avoid going back to jail. Damn!

It’s like the Boston bombing victims were violated once by losing their lives and limbs and now their being violated a second time by not being properly compensated for their loss.

Attorney Says Not Enough Money For Bombing Victims

According to The NY Daily News

The administrator of a fund created to help Boston Marathon bombing victims has a blunt message for them: Lower your expectations.

Attorney Kenneth Feinberg said at a public meeting Tuesday that the $28 million One Fund Boston won’t pay out nearly enough to fully compensate the families of the three killed or the more than 260 injured, and may not pay much of anything to those with less serious injuries.

“There isn’t enough money to pay everybody who justifiably expects it or needs it,” he said.

Feinberg’s draft plan for distributing the money reserves the highest payments for the families of the three killed in the bombings – Martin Richard, Krystle Campbell, Lu Lingzi – and for the family of MIT Police Officer Sean Collier, who was shot to death by the bombers as they attempted to flee.

Feinberg’s warning to lower expectations wasn’t lost on Dan Loring, whose daughter, Brittany, was so badly hurt by shrapnel from the first blast that she was in the hospital for 11 days. But the severity of her injuries still means she won’t qualify for the largest payments, leaving her father wondering about money for her care, including out-of-pocket expenses associated with her three surgeries and rehabilitation.

Loring, who lives in Lancaster, Mass., said he walked two miles to his Cambridge hotel “just to clear my head” after a similar meeting with Feinberg on Monday night that drew about 100 people. A few dozen were at Tuesday’s session, which Loring also attended.

“After leaving last night, I’m not so confident now we’ll see much, if anything,” he said.

Hopefully things will work out.

Reggie Bush Becomes A Dad

Reggie Bush is a dad! The 28-year-old NFL player welcomed his first child with fiancee Lilit Avagyan on Monday, May 6.

“Lilit gave birth to a beautiful baby girl,” her rep tells Us Weekly. The tot weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces.

The Detroit Lions running back and the 25-year-old dancer have been dating for about a year and a half. Bush confirmed Avagyan was pregnant in October 2012 on Florida’s Paul and Young Ron Morning Show. “I have a little one on the way,” he said. “We’re pretty excited!”

Bush famously dated Kim Kardashian on-and-off for several years before calling it quits for good in March 2010. The 32-year-old reality starlet is also expecting her first child in July with boyfriend Kanye West.

In an Apr. 15 blog post on the Detroit Lions’ website, Bush opened up about his thoughts on becoming first-time parents with his Armenian girlfriend. “I’m very excited. Very excited about the baby. It’s our first one and couldn’t have come at a better time,” he shared. “It couldn’t have come with a better person. Someone I really love and care about. It’s great. It really worked out perfect.”

Bush also shared his plans to travel back and forth between his family in L.A. and work in Michigan. “The baby will be in L.A. Well, [Avagyan] is going to be in L.A. because her family lives 15-20 minutes away from us,” he explained. “So she’s going to need that support system while I’m here for a few days out of each week. Then I’ll be home . . . I’m going to rack up a lot of sky miles, I know that.”

Kim is about to pop out a baby and Reggie’s look-a-like gives birth to one. Interesting.

New NRA Youth Magazine Promotes Indoor BB Gun Use For Children

Despite the increasing number of numerous reports of school-aged children becoming both victims and suspects of gun violence across the United States, the National Rifle Association continues to think it’s a great idea for children to have access to weapons.

The National Rifle Association (NRA)’s overtures to children have come under fire after its annual conference last week, which advertised weapons for children and advocated storing firearms in kids’ rooms just on the heels of the fatal shooting of a two year old by her five year old brother.

A ThinkProgress review of the NRA children’s magazine, InSights, found another piece of disturbing advice: kids should build target ranges inside their homes.

The article, “BB, It’s Cold Outside,” ran in the January 2013 edition of InSights.

The spread features a picture of a young-looking boy holding a BB gun next to a fireplace, and is addressed to children who are “shooting a real gun now” but can’t wait to practice until it’s warm enough outside to make firing one fun.

The NRA article recommends that, instead, the child build a home BB gun range to keep up.
