Chris Clemons Says It Would Be ‘Selfish’ For NFL Player To Be Gay

There has never been an openly gay player in the NFL, and Seattle Seahawks defensive end Chris Clemons thinks it might be best if it stays that way.
In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Clemons said he didn’t think it would be a good idea for a player to come out of the closet while playing professional football, although he insisted he wasn’t homophobic.
“Who on Gods earth is this person saying he’s coming out of the closet in the NFL?” tweeted Clemons.
Speculation about the possibility of a professional football player coming out picked up this week after a report by Mike Freeman of CBS Sports.
“Based on interviews over the past several weeks with current and former players, I’m told that a current gay NFL player is strongly considering coming out publicly within the next few months — and after doing so, the player would attempt to continue his career,” wrote Freeman.
He added that the player believes it is “now time for someone to take this step” but is worried about the reaction of homophobic fans.
Clemons then explained that he wasn’t against playing with a gay teammate, but he thought coming out of the closet would be a “selfish act” by the player in question.
He then added:
This is the new homophobic argument- gays are selfish for foisting their lifestyle choices on us. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

As far as Nicki Minaj is concerned she’s “spectacular” as a judge on American Idol!
In a press conference call, Miss Jia was asked what her worst Idol moment had been so far. And the 30-year-old Starships singer was less than modest with her response.
“My best and worst Idol moments? I don’t have a worst Idol moment. I’ve been spectacular,” Nicki boasted.
She continued: “Yes, I am going to toot my own horn. And then my best moment is every single moment. I’ll toot it again!”
Minaj also revealed that she was a little fearful sitting on the judging panel of the Fox reality TV hit. Her main concern was that she was coming off as a mean judge when everyone else was being too nice to the contestants.
“I didn’t know what to expect going in to the show. I was so nervous,” she said.
“I had a lot of anxiety. I felt like, ‘Okay, I know everybody’s just going to hate me. There were moments in the audition process that I would say to the producers, ‘I can’t do this anymore. If everyone is going to give a good critique and I’m going to be the only one being honest, then America is going to hate me. I’m going to be seen as mean.’ And the producers said, ‘Nicki, trust us, America is going to appreciate the honesty.’ And that’s all I had to go on.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, as the TV ratings for America Idol continue to plummet, the hatred towards Nicki is intensifying.
Wednesday night’s episode of the one-time popular reality TV favorite pulled in just 11 million viewers –the lowest figures for an Idol show EVER.
And judging by the Facebook page, ‘Ok: Remove Nicki Minaj From American Idol’ it’s clear to see who is turning viewers off.
“I can’t watch my favorite show anymore…her arrogance, ignorance, stupid comments that have NOTHING to do with constructive criticism, and the lack of respect the brat displays every week. What a bad choice to replace Jennifer (Lopez),” Robert Deans wrote.
“Nicki’s voice box needs to be removed,” said Nick Sharp.
While Steven Pappas took his criticism further, admitting: “Sorry, but I just really, REALLY wanna punch her square in the face! I think that would probably make me feel best!”

16-Year-Old Faces Adult Felony Charges Over BB Gun Shooting
A 16-year-old boy from Laurel, MD recently got a rude awakening after the making the genius decision to fire a BB gun at a police car while it was being driven by an officer.

A Laurel teenager is being charged as an adult with first-degree assault in the shooting of a police vehicle with a BB gun while it was being driven by an officer, Prince George’s County Police said Saturday.
Andre Christopher Rivers, 16, of the 13500 block of Attleboro Court, was arrested Friday evening after an officer driving along Contee Road “heard a projectile strike his driver’s side door” about 6 p.m. and immediately called for backup, police said in a statement.
“The patrol officer believed he was being fired on and immediately requested a search of the area,” the statement said.
The officer was not injured.
Shortly after, officers stopped Rivers near the intersection of Contee Road and Edinburgh Lane and recovered the BB gun, police said. He was taken into custody without incident.
Rivers is charged with first- and second-degree assault, second-degree assault on an officer, using a dangerous weapon with the intent to cause injury, reckless endangerment and two counts of malicious destruction of property.
Teenagers are wreckless and love to play around in the worst way. But, when in doubt, don’t do anything involving police officers unless you want to go to jail. SMH.

MTV Buckwild’s Shain Gandee And 2 Others Found Dead In Car
According to TMZ reports:
“Buckwild” Star Shain Gandee was found dead in a vehicle in West Virginia this morning … 31 hours after the 21-year-old MTV reality star had been reported missing, this according to law enforcement.
According to officials, Gandee — along with 2 other bodies — was discovered in the vehicle in Sissonville, West Virginia.
As we previously reported … Shain was last heard from around 3 AM on Sunday morning, when he and his uncle David Gandee told people they planned to go 4-wheeling.
It’s unclear if 48-year-old David was one of the deceased people in the vehicle where Gandee’s body was discovered.
We’re also hearing that one of the people in the vehicle is Shain’s father Dale — but we have yet to confirm.
Thoughts and prayers are with the Gandee family, Shain’s friends, and the MTV family.

Porsha Stewart Allegedly Still Living With Kordell Stewart
The hair salons, break rooms, and Twitter pages have been chirping since the news broke that former NFL baller Kordell Stewart had filed for divorce from his model/reality TV “star” wife Porsha Stewart.
Suffice to say, this mired matrimony has been messy and will probably continue to be so until both names are on the dotted lines. That said, it’s very interesting that, according to Funky Dineva, Porsha is still co-habitating with her soon-to-be-ex since she received her walking papers.
The word is that Porsha hops out of bed first thing in the morning, gets dressed, leaves, and doesn’t return to the house until bedtime. Maybe the two have worked out a system of avoiding each other to prevent further arguments or ugliness, but it just seems easier that someone leave the house until the divorce is finalized. Unfortunately for Kordell, that “someone” would probably be him. Especially since Porsha has filed for the spousal support to which she feels entitled.
Although Porsha should be cashing RHOA pay checks, clearly Kordell is the one with the money. We can only imagine that their home is probably big enough to live separately and uninterrupted, but who wants to do that??
