The verdict has just been announced in the high-profile case of the two Steubenville Ohio teens accused of forcing sex on their classmate.

Two Steubenville high school football players accused of forcing sex on an allegedly drunk 16-year-old girl were found guilty by an Ohio judge on Sunday.
Judge Thomas Lipps announced his decision after reviewing evidence presented over four days of testimony in the case against 17-year-old Trent Mays and 16-year-old Ma’lik Richmond, who were tried as juveniles.
Mays and Richmond were tried before Lipps, a visiting judge, without a jury. The trial moved quickly — and through the weekend — to accommodate the judge’s schedule.
Mays was also found guilty of disseminating a “nekkid” photo of a minor.
Mays was sentenced to a minimum of two years in a juvenile correctional facility. Richmond was sentenced to a minimum of one year, but like Mays could be in detention until he is 21.

Three of the Brazilian women involved in the United States sex scandal that put Senator Robert Mendez on blast for allegedly paying for sex while on a government funded trip have now come out to admit that THEY were paid to lie about the whole thing.

Three women were paid to falsely claim in videotaped interviews that they had sex for money with a U.S. senator in the Dominican Republic, a spokesman for the police said Monday.
The women, whose claims generated media attention in the United States, were hired by a Dominican attorney to make the videotaped statements, spokesman Maximo Baez told reporters. Two of the women received about $425 and the other was paid about $300, he said.
Authorities are seeking to interrogate the attorney, Melanio Figueroa, about the payments and have not determined his motive or whether he was in turn paid by someone else to set up the interviews, Baez said.
The women have not been detained.
The police spokesman was making his most detailed comments to date on an investigation into the source of allegations that U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez had sex with prostitutes, including two who were underage at the time, while in the Dominican Republic with his friend and campaign contributor, Dr. Salomon Melgen, a south Florida doctor, and with Vinicio Castillo Seman, an attorney whose family is politically prominent in the Dominican Republic.
Castillo and Menendez have denied hiring prostitutes.

A double amputee allegedly gunned down a Walmart worker after being asked to put his service dog on a leash — before being caught fleeing on his motorized scooter by cops.
Daniel Pirtle, 45, was said to have been asked by assistant manager Jason Mahi, 33, to place the animal under control after entering the store in Anchorage, Alaska, on Saturday afternoon.
His request sparked an argument, during which Pirtle pull out a weapon and shoot Mahi in the stomach, witnesses said.
Trying to escape on his electric vehicle, Pirtle was nabbed by cops close to the building’s entrance. They arrested him, placed him in handcuffs and confiscated his handgun.Army veteran Sergeant Carlos Morales told the Anchorage Daily News the gunshot “sounded like somebody dropped a big box”.
Morales, who was in the store with his wife and children, said he rushed to help Mahi who had fallen on the floor.
“He said, ‘I can’t feel my feet.’ He just kept talking about his kids,” said Morales, before adding: “My kids, my son,’ that’s basically all he said. Everyone else tried to keep him awake.”
Mahi was rushed to hospital where he underwent surgery. He is now in a stable condition.
Anchorage Police Sgt Cameron Hokenson said Pirtle was charged with first-degree assault and fourth-degree weapons misconduct.
He is now being held at Anchorage Jail on bail of $50,000. His dog has been taken temporarily to a female police officer’s home.Walmart spokesman Dan Fogleman said the shooting was a “senseless, unprovoked act of violence”.

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian found an unusual and perverse way to entertain themselves during the March 17 episode of E!’s Kourtney & Kim Take Miami. While staying at London’s famed Dorchester hotel, the trio decided to test Khloe’s theory that drinking pineapple juice “makes everything sweeter” — namely a woman’s genitals.

According to TMZ reports:
Good news for Lil Wayne — the rapper has finally been moved out of the Intensive Care Cnit at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after doctors determined his condition has stabilized … TMZ has learned.
Sources close to the rapper tell us … Wayne has been moved into a “regular room” at the hospital and no longer needs intense, round-the-clock treatment after a suspected codeine overdose last week.
We broke the story … doctors pumped Wayne’s stomach at least 3 times after the rapper began experiencing severe and violent seizures. He had been in the ICU since Wednesday.
Now, we’re told the 30-year-old has been walking around the hospital floor on his own — accompanied by a team of bodyguards.
We’re told he’s also eating on his own … and could even be discharged from the hospital in the near future.
That sounds promising, but we still have a lot of unanswered questions about this entire ordeal.

YMCMB’s Mack Maine says that he is unsure of whether it was Lil Wayne who actually sent out Friday evening’s Tweet regarding his health concerns.
In an exclusive interview with XXL, Mack could not confirm whether it was actually Lil Wayne who Tweeted:
He said that he was not with Wayne at the time that the Tweet was published, and it could have been published by someone in his camp or a fan.
“That Tweet [that he sent out on Friday] wasn’t sent out on that same phone line,” he revealed. “I’m not sure if he Tweeted that or not. I wasn’t with him at the present moment. One of his fans could have Tweeted that, I’m not really sure where that came from.”
Mack also spoke on Wayne’s condition, saying that he can’t provide an official update on his condition at this time. However, he said that the New Orleans rapper is in recovery and not located in ICU as TMZ reported earlier today.
“He’s in the hospital regularly, [not ICU],” he said. “I can’t really give a comment on his situation right now ‘cus we’re not really sure, we’re just standing by him right now. Like I said, he’s in recovery as far as we know, so we’re just sitting back, just waiting until he’s come fully recovered before we can give a statement.”
Glad Wayne’s health is improving, but we’re not done with this subject by a long-shot!

Lindsey Vonn may be Tiger’s official girl, but she don’t want no problems with ex-wife Elin!

Tiger Woods and his new girlfriend Lindsey Vonn only just confirmed that they were dating on Monday.
And on the very same day, the Olympic skier chanced a face-to-face meeting with the champion golfer’s ex-wife Elin Nordegren at the former couple’s daughter Samantha’s junior baseball game.
But a devoted Vonn avoided the awkward encounter by reportedly sitting in Tiger’s car for an hour while he watched Samantha, five, play ball.
The downhill skiing champion most likely stayed in Woods’s black Mercedes rather than risk an encounter with Woods’ ex-wife Elin, who was also watching the event – though Woods and Elin sat at opposites ends of the stadium.
Vonn, who is recuperating from a bad fall while competing, was seen sweeping back her blonde hair in the front passenger seat as Woods’s car pulled away after the game.
Her crutches were on the back seat.
She has been staying on 37-year-old Woods’s luxury yacht, Privacy, near his home in Jupiter, Florida.
Woods and Vonn, 28, announced their relationship to the world on Monday, scuppering reports that Tiger has been attempting to win back Nordegren, who received $100 million as a divorce settlement.
The pair announced their relationship status in statements simultaneously published on Woods’s official website and Vonn’s Facebook page on Monday along with a photo of themselves together.
Sounds like this family has a long way to go before they start “blending”.

“I Like That” singer Houston — who famously suffered an emotional breakdown in 2005 and gouged his own eye out with a fork — has had a change in fortune … because TMZ has learned, he just got off easy in his DUI case.
TMZ broke the story … Houston was arrested last year near Malibu after cops say he was driving erratically in his SUV. When cops approached the vehicle, they claim it smelled of marijuana … and Houston looked drugged out … so they placed him under arrest.
But last week, the DUI charge was reduced to a minor traffic infraction … and the $100 fine was suspended … meaning Houston pretty much got off scot-free. It’s unclear why the charge was reduced.
As for Houston’s 2005 breakdown — the singer reportedly first attempted suicide by jumping out of a window while under the influence of PCP. His friends stopped him, but when they locked him in a first-floor room, Houston gouged his eye out with a plastic fork.
