Alabama Man Who Held Boy Hostage Underground Has Been Killed
An Alabama man who fatally shot the bus driver who attempted to protect the 20 children on the bus last Tuesday has been killed after holding a 5-year-old special needs boy whom he took from the bus hostage in an underground “shelter” for a week.
The boy has been rescued and is now safe.

The 65-year-old retired truck driver who held a 5-year-old autistic boy hostage after killing a school bus driver last week is dead and the child is safe, authorities are reporting.
Law enforcement sources said Jimmy Lee Dykes was killed Monday afternoon, the Associated Press, CNN and other news organizations reported. An ambulance was seen leaving the scene in Midland City, Ala., where Dykes had held the boy in a homemade bunker since abducting him from the bus last Tuesday.
The Dale County coroner confirmed that Dykes is dead, ABC3340 reported.
There were reports of one or two loud bangs on the property, and a neighbor who lives about a quarter-mile from where Dykes was holed up told the Associated Press that he heard a boom followed by a gunshot.
Authorities said they would be making a major announcement shortly.
What a relief that this young boy is safe, back with his family and away from that deranged man.

Nancy Gonzalez, a corrections officer at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, was arrested this morning at her home in Huntington, N.Y., on charges that she allegedly carried on a sexual relationship with a man convicted of killing two NYPD detectives.
She is charged with engaging in sexual relations with an inmate and she is scheduled to be arraigned later this afternoon in Brooklyn federal court, according to court papers.
Gonzalez, 29, is accused of having what is described as inappropriate relationship sex with Ronell Wilson, who was convicted of the 2003 capital murder of two undercover NYPD detectives in a point-blank execution in Staten Island.
Gonzalez is now eight months pregnant with a baby, possibly from the relationship with Wilson, according to officials.
At least three other inmates knew about the relationship, and told authorities Gonzalez had inappropriate relations in both the cell and a vacant room next to the inmate’s cell.
B-b-but wait it gets worse!
Further investigation revealed an inappropriate relationship with another inmate, currently in a New York State prison but previously at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center, according to the court documents. That inmate told his mother on a recorded conversation that Gonzalez is pregnant with another man’s baby.
Gonzales will have an initial appearance this afternoon in US District court in Brooklyn before Magistrate Judge Ramon E. Reyes.
She faces a statutory maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted.
So what does this felon-lovin’ hussy have to say for herself?
“I just basically got wrapped up in something that I should not have got wrapped up…getting myself up with someone that is so high profile that when he farts it makes the news.” Gonzalez asked the second inmate if he knew Wilson’s name, and the second inmate said his first name starts with “R.”
“I can’t explain it. I know what’s to come. I know what is going to be said about me. I know that for me as a parent, how am I going to explain this to this little boy? Mommy was in the military. Mommy was a C.O. Mommy got wrapped up in …So how do you explain that.”
We don’t think “your honor” is going to be very compassionate to that argument. Good luck.

Friends and Family Of Hadiya Pendleton Want President Obama At Her Funeral
The tragic, sudden and untimely death of 15-year-old Chicago native Hadiya Pendleton weighed heavy on the hearts of many, including the President and First Family who issued condolences to her family through White House spokesman Jay Carney upon learning of her passing.
However, grieving residents, friends and family of Hadiya are now pushing for President Obama to take it a step further by paying his respects to her in person at her funeral on February 9.

What happened to Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year-old Chicago teen, was horrible.
While taking cover from the rain, the young girl, who performed with her high school drill team at the Inauguration of President Barack Obama, was gunned down in what seems to be random gunfire. The White House acknowledged her death Wednesday. “The president and first lady’s thoughts and prayers are with the family of Hadiya Pendleton,” White house spokesman Jay Carney said.
But the people want more. A petition was created, urging the president to honor the brief life of the girl and attend her funeral. Carney said he had no knowledge of the petition nor of any scheduling changes. There is no word that he has addressed the petitions’ request
Our prayers continue to go out to this grieving family and community as they prepare to lay Hadiya to rest.

Justice For Trayvon? George Zimmerman Losses Bid To Delay Murder Trial On Slain Teen’s 18th Birthday
The trial has been set for George Zimmerman who has been charged for murdering Florida teenager Trayvon Martin. And just like the mark @ss buster he is, of course Zimmerman tried to delay the trial, fortunately the judge was not trying to hear it….
According to ABC News:
On what would have been Trayvon Martin’s 18th birthday, lawyers for his accused killer George Zimmerman were denied a request to delay this summer’s murder trial. Zimmerman’s attorney Mark O’Mara claimed during an often heated one-hour hearing that he needed more time to prepare, and that the state was not being cooperative with key evidence.
“Its February and the trial’s set for June,” countered prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda. He argued that O’Mara did not deserve more time to prepare and that many of the delays were his own fault. The state has argued that the Zimmerman legal team is moving slowly because of a dwindling defense fund. Zimmerman’s attorneys have acknowledged that the fund is just about empty.
“The spirit of Trayvon Martin was definitely in the courtroom today on what would have been his 18th birthday. The judge ruled that the trial would not be delayed,” Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump said today.
Martin, 17, was shot and killed while walking home unarmed on Feb. 26, 2012, from a deli near his father’s fiancee’s house. Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain, has claimed the unarmed teen was acting suspicious and that he shot the teenager during a fight when the boy tried to get Zimmerman’s gun.
We hope this shady b@stard gets life in prison.

Wendy, who is a New Jersey native, addressed the Governor’s bulging belly on her show this morning and made it clear that if he ever wants to be taken seriously as a Presidential candidate, he needs to stop joking about his weight and drop the pounds.
She told the Wendy Williams studio audience:
“He’s not just fat, he’s morbidly obese! If he looks like that now, how fat is he gonna be in 2016?”

It’s four days after Beyonce’s “gone with the wind fabulous” halftime performance at the Super Bowl and we’re still thinking about it, except now we’re thinking she may have looked a little different.

Since the 31-year-old superstar took the stage at the Superdome there has been some chatter that along with her killer dance moves, she debuted a new nose. There’s no denying that Beyonce looks quite different from when she started out, and while growing up has something to do with it, it’s rare that the tip of of one’s nose takes on the brunt of the changes.
“It’s extremely likely she’s had a rhinoplasty,” Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel, a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who has not treated the singer, told Hollywood Life. “I think she has had her nose narrowed and the tip refined. I do this same procedure regularly. She looks gorgeous and the surgeon did an excellent job,” he says.
It’s hard to refute the photographic evidence, and if you look over a timeline of her photos it’s seems fairly obvious that Bey had some work done back around 2004, and has possibly just recently undergone more surgery to refine her nose once again.
