Isht Is Real: MTA Releases Unbelievable Photos Of Flooded Subway Tunnels [Photos]
God only knows how long the clean-up from Sandy is going to take but the MTA is already putting the Unwatering Crew to work in the city’s flooded subway tunnels.
According to their Flickr site, the team is making progress:
New York City Transit employees are pumping water out of two tunnels that carry the subway beneath the East River. The Cranberry Street Tunnel, carries the A and C trains between Brooklyn and Manhattan, and the 53rd Street Tunnel carries the E and M trains between Queens and Manhattan.

Fiddy Says That Copyright Lawsuit Ain’t Nothin’ But Some Bull
50′s claiming the guy who’s suing him doesn’t even own the damn song anymore!?!?
50 Cent doesn’t own the 1970s song he recently sampled — but in court docs obtained by TMZ, he claims the guy suing him for copyright infringement doesn’t own it either!
As TMZ first reported, a man named Robert Poindexter sued 50 … claiming the rapper hijacked a sample of his Persuaders song “Love Gonna Pack Up and Walk Out.” Robert claims 50 used it on his track “Redrum,” which he released for free online.
But in recently filed court docs, 50 says the suit is TOTAL B.S. and claims he never violated any copyright laws. In fact, he says Robert doesn’t even own the rights to the allegedly-stolen song because he signed them over to Warner Music Group awhile ago … therefore he can’t sue.50 is asking a judge to dismiss the case ASAP. The judge has yet to rule.

Ohio Woman Breaks Into House, Cleans And Leaves Bill Behind
An Ohio woman who suddenly got the urge to clean someone else’s home uninvited was recently charged with attempted burglary. The woman broke into the home, cleaned it and then left a bill behind for the family.

A family in Westlake, Ohio, was not delighted when a “cleaning fairy” came into their home uninvited, did some chores and left a $75 bill behind on a napkin.
The Chronicle-Telegram said that Susan Warren, 53, drove by the home last May 22 and “wanted something to do.” She entered the home in the early morning hours, washed coffee cups, took out the trash, vacuumed and dusted, all while the homeowners’ 19-year old daughter slept upstairs, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.
Last week, Warren pleaded guilty to one count of attempted burglary in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. Her sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 26. Neither Warren nor her attorney could be reached for comment.
“She left a note for the homeowner on a napkin, stating that she had cleaned the residence and left a bill for $75,” Maria Russo, a spokeswoman for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, said in a statement.
Warren, of Elyria, Ohio, left her name, address and phone number on the napkin. Nothing was stolen from the house, the Prosecutor’s Office said.

Chris Breezy recently sat down with the folks at Prestige Magazine to speak on his love of art and his Symphonic Love Foundation.
Here is some of what he had to say:
What do you want the world to know about who you are and what you stand for?
As a 23-year-old young entertainer, I want the world to see my art and hopefully be inspired by it, promote positivity with what I do now – with painting, with fashion, with directing, with creativity as far as videos and cinema. I want to have people admire that and hopefully have people follow in my footsteps.
What are you having the most fun at right now?
Honestly, my day-to-day life is the most fun right now because I get a chance to not focus on “the artist” Chris Brown. Going through the regular things, like going to the grocery store. I’m also running a label right now, so I have different artists, four or five different acts, shooting videos that I’m directing and coming together.
Tell me about your painting.
I’ve been painting secretly since I was a kid. A lot of people didn’t know that it was my hobby. I focused on doing the bad stuff at first with graffiti and vandalising as a kid. But as you get older, you start studying art books and sketchbooks in the libraries. I started getting better, like maybe three or four years ago. I met Ron English and Kid Zoom [Ian Strange] and they were just teaching me different techniques for painting. So my art started growing and I started doing it on my own. I finally got people to recognise it and I did a couple of art galleries – one in LA and one in New York – and I sold four out of my seven paintings. You know, I’m new. But my feet are in the water and that’s all it takes. I don’t think I want to conquer painting. It’s just something I love to do.
Acting is something else you do well. Was that something you discovered later in life?
Acting is just something that comes natural. I used to look in the mirror all the time, make funny faces, trying get my face right. Looking at Jim Carrey, looking at a lot of different movies. The key is that you pick up what you see all the time. That’s kind of where I got my Michael Jackson inspiration, my charisma. I did a couple of acting lessons, but when it comes down to it, I learned more from the actors on set, their energy and timing.
Breezy also took a minute to talk about the kids:
What’s Symphonic Love all about?
Symphonic Love does programmes in schools, like with my school back home. Musical programmes and helping kids with disabilities. I do a lot of stuff with Best Buddies that coexists with that. The name comes from a tattoo that I’ve got [runs hand across his chest] – something that’s over my heart right now. So my heart is where it’s at. The tattoo “symphonic love” encompasses the positivity of what I’m trying to do – uplifting humanity.
Is there something that fans would be surprised to learn about you?
Just how involved I am with everything. I think a lot of people, a lot of artists, they get the glamour and glitz and everything else is already set for them. You see it and you say, “Oh man, it’s perfect.” But everything is already written. For me, it’s all just straight from thin air. I hear a song [claps his hands] – that’s my concept. When you hear my records, it’s really me writing. It’s really my emotions. It’s really me behind the cameras, directing those videos. It’s me making the decision on what singles we put out. Being the CEO. A real businessman at 23. That’s what I want to show my audience. The generation that we’re in – we’re a lazy generation. The kids in my generation are not as hyper. The work ethic isn’t there. The attention span is short. But I think if they can see me do it at 23 and have all this stuff going on – and still have fun while I’m doing it – who’s to say they can’t?

Pay Yo Legal Bills: Weezy Loses Lawsuit Against Quincy Jones III After He Doesn’t Show For Court
Guess his ‘no fly’ Dr.’s note didn’t fly with the judge.
Lil Wayne just lost his case against Quincy Jones III over the documentary about the rapper, and even worse for him, he lost the countersuit QIII filed against him.
The jury ordered Lil Wayne to pay Quincy $2,195,000. Quincy’s countersuit alleged Lil Wayne wrongfully jock blocked the release of the film, screwing up its profit potential.
We broke the story … Lil Wayne never showed up in court for his trial. The day he was supposed to testify he was a no-show because he had suffered several seizure-like episodes and was prohibited from flying. As a result, his lawyer was left to show the jury Wayne’s deposition, in which he refuses to answer questions and mocks the proceeding.
Don’t crack on your own court proceedings Weezy. SMH.

Put On Blast: R. Kelly Sings Out For Security On Rowdy Fan During His Concert
Don’t act all slizzard when R. Kelly’s sanging or he may switch up the lyrics and call you out during his performance.
When R. Kelly saw two ladies fighting over a seat at one of his concerts … he didn’t scream for security — he SANG for security … and it was all caught on tape.
Kelly was in the middle of his show at the Nokia Theater in Downtown L.A. this weekend … when he noticed two female fans getting physical in the crowd. One source tells us one woman had accused the other of stealing her seat … and they were thiiiis close to trading blows.
And that’s when R. saved the day … stopping his show … and breaking out in song: “SECURITY … SEC-UR-ITY.”
It’s hard to hear exactly what Kelly said after that … but he definitely barked some orders to the crowd control staff and dropped a couple of cuss words … while staying in tune.
Security eventually responded to the situation and escorted one of the women out of the building … thus concluding the most beautiful ejection we’ve ever heard.
LLS…it is a little hard to understand but homeboy still belted out ‘security’ like it was his biggest hit.

Don’t Believe The Hype!! Facebook Message Telling Voters Not To Select ‘All Dems’ Button Is Pure Bull!
You’ve probably already seen the ‘urgent’ message circulating in your facebook news feed, but reps from the NAACP are saying this isht just isn’t true and is just another tactic being used to confuse voters!
According to The Root:
A widely circulated foreboding message purporting to warn supporters of President Obama of an electronic voting “trick” that could exclude their vote for the president if they select only the “All Democrats” option has been debunked by the South Carolina branch of the NAACP. Still, it continues to make the rounds on Facebook and email, spreading confusion that some worry could lead voters in states that allow straight-ticket voting to remove their vote for the office of the president.
“PLEASE PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO THIS! In the event that you are planning to vote democrat on Nov. 6, when you go into the voting booths, DO NOT SELECT THE BUTTON “all democrats” first because Barack Obama will be excluded from the vote,” a screenshot of a Facebook status attached to one email reads. It goes on to instruct voters to select “Barack Obama” first and then “all democrats” and ends with “People are not being told this information because they are trying every trick in the book.”
Not true, says the South Carolina State Conference of the NAACP. The organization has issued a warning to voters: “If a South Carolina voter chooses the straight party option first on our voting machines, the selection box for all candidates of the intended political party will automatically be checked, including the presidential candidate.”
The main concern raised by the message is that voters confused by the instructions may touch their presidential selection a second time, which would actually remove their vote for that office, the NAACP told WCBD-TV Charleston in October. Thus, the organization recommends that each voter review all of his or her selections made on the voting machine before pressing the final button to confirm the ballot and asks that anyone who has forwarded the misleading message to others follow up with a message of caution about the advice.
South Carolina NAACP President Lonnie Randolph says that he’s not surprised that the misleading information seems to targets the types of ballots used by South Carolina voters. He attributes the effort to a long history of hostility toward African-American political power in his own state that dates back to Reconstruction.
He doesn’t know who’s behind it, but he believes that it has already caused confusion, particularly among the state’s more vulnerable citizens. “That’s why we had a press conference. So many people in South Carolina already feel threatened. We have a lot of first-time voters in this election, and the machines are not the simplest thing to deal with. Folks will need some assistance, particularly elderly people,” he said.
If this is, in fact, a hoax meant to confuse voters or suppress the votes of Democrats, it’s unfortunately nothing new. Just last month, Think Progress warned of misinformation campaigns, including those telling voters that they can vote by phone, that they are at risk of being purged from the rolls, that they must show identification to vote and more.
Randolph told The Root that South Carolina has seen other forms of intimidation and misleading information this election cycle, including employers threatening their employees with layoffs, reduced house, and loss of health insurance if Mitt Romney is not elected, as well as recent e-mails attempting to convince voters that, as result of Hurricane Sandy, the election date has been moved.

Florida Crazies: Disgusting Parents Punish Their 6-Year-Old By Locking Him Out Of The House For Three Nights!
Some people really shouldn’t be allowed to have kids.
According to The Daily Mail:
A Florida couple banished their six-year-old to a porch — where he was made to sleep for at least three days — ‘as punishment for stealing and eating too much,’ according to police.
John Haley, 47, and his wife, Stephanie Haley, 41, were charged with felony child neglect Sunday after the shivering boy knocked on a neighbor’s door at 2 a.m.
He told the neighbor he had been locked out of the house and forced to sleep on the porch, sheriff’s spokesman Gary Davidson told the Daytona Beach News-Journal. The neighbor gave the boy a blanket and potato chips and called for help.
Temperatures dipped into the 50s on the nights that the child was forced to sleep outside.
‘When deputies arrived at the scene, the boy told them that he had been forced to sleep on the back porch for three days,’ Davidson told the newspaper. ‘He also said that he’s fed rice for lunch and dinner every day, and when there’s no rice, he’s given lettuce to eat.’
When he’s not on the porch, he’s often locked in the garage and only allowed inside when he needs to use the bathroom, the boy said.
Authorities knocked on the Haley’s door after talking to their son and asked them if they knew where he was. The couple said he was asleep in a bedroom.
‘When deputies informed them that he was at a neighbor’s house cold and hungry and complaining about being forced to sleep on the porch, John Haley initially acted shocked at the news,’ Davidson said. ‘But he later admitted that he and his wife make the boy sleep on the porch as punishment for stealing and eating too much.’
The Haley’s didn’t see anything wrong with the boy’s punishment, Davidson said. They were booked into Volusia County Branch Jail and are being held without bail.
The Department of Children & Families has now taken custody of the other six children at the house — three boys and three girls, ranging in age from 1 to 15 years old.
All of their kids have been sent to live with other family members. Hopefully they get better treatment with them since their own dayum parents didn’t give an isht! SMH.
