Tyrese… BRUH! What is going on over there??? After days of beefing and back and forths with The Rock over a ‘Fast & Furious’ spinoff news broke today that the actor formerly known as Jody’s ex-wife Norma has filed for an order of protection against him on behalf of their young daughter Shayla.
According to The Blast reports
Norma Gibson claims on August 19, while their 10-year-old daughter was staying with the actor, he allegedly “went into a rage, pushed our daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put his knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other.”
She claims the fight started after Tyrese accused his daughter of “stealing her own piggy bank money that she received for her birthday.”
Norma claims the child was beaten again several times after she “begged for mercy, ” and screamed, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry! Please stop! You’re hurting me!”
She says their daughter later told her, “mum, dad beat me so hard that it hurts when I sit down.”
Tyrese’s former wife also says she fears the actor may abduct their kid to Dubai, where he frequently visits, which would prevent her from bringing their “daughter home from a Muslim country.” She claims he has significant influence and power with the royals in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
These two have a long history conflict, and Norma also says Tyrese has a long history of domestic abuse, and has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and manic behavior while he claims everything she’s saying is false — especially the allegations he abused her daughter.
BUT Norma must’ve had some kinda receipts because the judge granted the request for protection and barred Tyrese from directly or indirectly contacting his ex or daughter until the hearing October 2. Norma now has physical custody of their daughter and Tyrese received no visitation.
YIKES!!!! Crazy right. But if you think that’s crazy, it gets even crazier. Tyrese couldn’t resist responding to the allegations on social media — basically DRAGGING his ex and accusing her of being bitter and unable to move on since their split and claiming she’s jealous he has a new wife.

Do you believe him?

This is so, so, so, sad. The type of things people don’t think about when it comes to the destruction and danger that comes along with a massive Hurricane like Irma.
According to CNN, 6 nursing home residents have been found dead after the record-breaking storm crashed into South Florida last weekend.
It is believed that the deaths may have been cause by the loss of air-conditioning inside the facility. At temperatures over 90º this week, the sweltering Florida heat and humidity puts the elderly at serious risk of major complications. That said, the official causes of death are still being investigated.
Says Hollywood Police Chief Tomas Sanchez:
“We are conducting a criminal investigation (and) not ruling anything out at this time,” Sanchez said at a press conference Wednesday.
If you’re active on social media you may have noticed that a certain “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta “star’s been spotted rocking an interesting getup. Yung Joc was spotted in Hollywood this week rocking a floor-length ball gown while casually standing alongside Safaree.
And as social media dragged him within an inch of his drastic Dominican blowout…
Yung Joc went from "meet me in the trap, it's going down" to "meet me at the mall, I bought a gown" smh pic.twitter.com/Dc1Edi0YOq

Joc decided to give an explanation. According to him, the Quinceanera dress he was seen rocking is all part of his master plan to manipulate the internet.
“It’s called Internet manipulation. this is gonna be one of the craziest times ever, am I gonna take full advantage of it or will I be silenced? I will not be silenced.

The never-ending string of White House stooges has done some pretty egregious things in their short tenure inside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., but this is REALLY over-stepping their boundaries.
Today, during the daily press briefing, Donald Trump, pit bull in a pantsuit, Sarah Huckabee-Sanders, responded to “influential African-American sportscaster” Jemele Hill’s series of truth-telling tweets with the following:
That’s correct ladies and gentlemen, the White House, which is essentially owned by the citizens of this country, is demanding that a private citizen be fired for criticizing their Grand Wiz-…we mean, boss.
Today, the White House press secretary used the people's podium to call for the firing of an individual citizen, @jemelehill. Take that in.

Donald and his band of merry bootlickers SURE do have a Jones for giving people the pink slip.
Perhaps Sarah and the rest of the Trump shoe-shiners should listen to another “influential African-American” woman:
They want their critics fired and their investigators jailed. This is an autocracy, not an administration. https://t.co/9dOojHing6

That's a company's decision to make. The President does not typically demand it. Not in a democracy, anyway. https://t.co/a8tcIhTmgD

Papas, we hope you got your shotguns ready… Jamie Foxx and Keenan Ivory Wayans were on hand to support their daughters Corinne and Nala who were models in the Sherry Hill NYFW SS18 fashion show at Gotham Hill yesterday. Both girls are bangers right?
Looks like they enjoyed hanging out together too. Love when ladies support each other.
Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons’ oldest daughter Ming Lee was also photographed out and about during NYFW.
They weren’t spotted together but the paps also captured Kimora on the go

Fashionistas were in for a treat this week when Lil Kim rocked the house during a Fashion Week party.
The 90s rap star turned fashion week darling was turned all the way up at the Galore x Juicy Couture’s NYFW Ball Sept. 13 at Public Arts in Manhattan. Plus sized model and reality star Jordyn Woods DJ’d the bash along with Paris Hilton.
But before taking the stage, Kim yukked it up backstage with Teyana Taylor – who strutted her stuff in The Blondes’ fashion show earlier that day.
Kim showed off her curves in a black corset, matching satin panties, fishnets and a diamante studded jacket that hugged her figure. She wore her blonde hair long and loose and smiled and waved to fans as bodyguards escorted her to the stage.
A green haired Taylor, Hilton and Woods later joined Kim onstage for her 90s hit “Get Money” with all of the younger women dancing frenetically as Kim thundered out her lyrics, while the audience, including actress Skai Jackson in the front row, snapped pics.

There’s been a media-wide push in the last year or so to try to understand the perspective of the Trump supporter. Publications have gone to every middle America county in America to try to get into the heads of the people who voted for Donald Trump. Meanwhile every political talking head show has invited Trump supporters to defend things like building walls to keep Mexicans out, explain why white supremacists aren’t so bad and why people don’t deserve healthcare. All under the guise that there’s a need to understand how people can be lead to hatred.
Remember when Trevor Noah was unilaterally praised for having a supposedly productive dialogue with anti-black scam artist Tomi Lahren? Remember when we were exposed to articles about Richard Spencer’s dapper brand of racism? Or Milo’s appearance on Bill Maher’s show? Have you seen all the free dinners racists have gotten while sitting in front of cameras spouting white nationalist rhetoric while pretending to be open to dialogue? It’s all been a widespread normalization of racism that only magnifies hatred.
Well, what about us? What about the people actually affected by the election of Donald Trump? For every article about a black person trapped in a Trump county that doesn’t want him or her around, there are 15 about people who voted for whiteness and now regret their decision. Because, let’s be clear, by every discernible metric, study or survey available, whiteness determined that Donald Trump would be president.
Yet there’s a futile search for a deeper reasoning as to why Trump won the election. That search comes from a desire to ascribe some other reason besides racism to the white nationalism that’s been visible across the country for centuries. It’s the same desire that makes so many white Americans rush to say “this isn’t us” or “this isn’t America” whenever racists swarm Charlottesville with Tiki torches to assert white power.
There’s no desire, however, to find out why black people feel how we feel because true black feelings about the state of this country won’t make white people feel better. Our voices are only going to demand that America change and become a country it wasn’t designed to be. Our voices bring discomfort and demand evolution. Thus our voices are only there to be silenced. The way we’ve been treated shows the fallacy of the idea of Dialogue. Capital “D” Dialogue is code for “let white people talk while black people listen.” Dialogue is a myth. The idea of understanding both sides is a myth. The only truth is that there will always be a push to understand the white psyche while casting black expression aside. It always has been but that point has been no more clearer than in the last few months.
I have yet to witness a way for black people to speak up that has been acceptable for white America. Let’s look at the three most high-profile controversial black opinions of the last year. Colin Kaepernick has asked that police stop killing innocent black people and has been essentially fired from his job. Munroe Bergdorf asked white people to address their history of anti-black violence. And Jemele Hill simply acknowledged the fact that Trump’s failure to condemn white supremacy has emboldened white supremacists – a fact the white supremacists have backed up themselves. These three comments should not be controversial. They aren’t. The problem is that the comments have come from black people, meaning the rest of the country would rather not hear them.
Black people were brought to America to suffer in silence and despite claims that the country has evolved, the role forced onto us hasn’t changed. So while white supremacists and white supremacist sympathizers (aka more white supremacists) are being allowed to parade their propaganda on television, black people are asked to be quiet. But the beauty of blackness it that we’re not really good listeners when it comes to doing what we’re told by oppressive wannabe overseers. So just admit it. You want us to suffer in silence. Not that it’d make much difference because we’re going to continue to be as loud and true as we want whether you can handle it or not.

There seem to be VERY few Hollyweird couples who can stay married for the long-haul.
Kinda-former Black Eyed Pea Fergie Ferg and her soon-to-be ex-husband Josh Duhamel are the latest couple to dissolve their union according to TMZ.
Fergie and Josh released a joint statement today that reads like most celebrity divorce announcements:
“With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”
Guess we’ll have to wait for the ugly details to leak, because they are definitely gonna leak somehow, some way.
Hard to call this surprising, because like we said, this is a celebrity couple. But at one point during their relationship, Josh told Oprah that Fergie was the “best thing that ever happened to him”.
A thug changes and love changes and best friends become strangers. Word to Nasir Jones.

Ciara had her second baby in the Spring, took a short break then came right on back looking as fire as ever. Ciara has always been fine but post-baby thickness is as in as ever and this might be the best she’s ever looked. Russell Wilson has been one happy humdiggity dog as of late and we can see why.
So let’s take a look at Ciara’s post-baby glory and celebrate the goodness.

Insecure‘s swirly slavey show within a show “Due North” is a hilarious (and completely ridiculous) parody based on an inside joke-turned-hysterical “if Underground met Scandal” gag that plays in between Issa, Lawrence and everyone else’s shenanigans and stirs up endless memes, contagious cackles and Twitter campaigns to make it an actual spin-off. Like, forreal forreal, in real life, for the culture.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Kandi Buress has said her daughter’s father won’t pay to support the girl.
And apparently, the music exec has exacted the same treatment to the IRS, who accused him of paying income tax sporadically to them for a staggering seven years.
The feds recently filed a federal tax lien for more than $60,000 against the CEO of Block Entertainment, according to the lien, which was obtained by BOSSIP.
In the recently filed lien, the IRS said that Block failed to pay $1,348 in taxes for 20102, $2,249 for 2011, $18,476 for 2012 and $38,674 for 2014. All told, the feds said block owes a total of $60,778 to the government.
The IRS doesn’t play when it comes to collecting on tax debts and will do as far as to seize Block’s assets, like cash and properties, in order to collect what’s owed.
Block had not paid the tax bill as of Thursday, according to court documents.

On September 6 Bronx resident Miguel Antonio Richards became the first person shot and killed by NYPD officers while the wore their new body cameras according to NYPost.
Richards was brandishing a fake gun and a real knife when police arrived at his apartment after receiving a call that he was emotionally disturbed.
Footage shot by Officer Mark Fleming’s body cam shows Richards standing in the corner of a darkened room with one hand behind his back. Several cops can be heard repeatedly telling Richards to “put the knife down” and asking him what’s behind his back.
“I don’t want to shoot you,” one says. “This is not gonna end well for you if you don’t put that knife down.”
And a bad ending is precisely what happened. If you are willing, you can watch the full incident in the video below.
How do you think the officers did in handling this situation based off what you see?
