R&B Diva Announced Her Husband Said Their Marriage Is Over
Keke Wyatt’s estranged husband’s threat to divorce her may have been a hollow one.
Wyatt, 37, posted an emotional video to Instagram Tuesday alleging that her husband, Michael Jamar Ford, 31, told her that he wanted to split and told other women that they were no longer together. She has since deleted the video, but has posted another video on a night out where she complains about going through “a hard time.”
Ford has since told The Jasmine Brand that his divorce plan is true, and described his relationship with the “My First Love” singer as “toxic.”
Wyatt said the news was especially devastating because she said she’s heavily pregnant with their child and dealing with another child’s cancer battle.
However, BOSSIP has learned that Ford’s plans may have been a big fake out, because Ford has yet to file any paperwork for a divorce or a legal separation in their Georgia county, a court rep confirmed.
We’ve reached out to Wyatt’s rep for comment.
The pair’s apparent split appeared to have come out of nowhere. Wyatt posted loved up pics of them earlier this summer, and is due to give birth to his child next month.
Despite their bickering on “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars,” both Wyatt and Ford – who are raising eight children – appeared to be very much in love with one another when they sat down with BOSSIP last year.
