Glory Johnson In Hot Water With Judge
WNBA player Glory Johnson’s epic fight with former spouse Brittney Griner is coming back to haunt her.
An Arizona judge issued a warrant for Glory Johnson’s arrest for failing to comply with the terms of her sentence from a domestic violence incident two years ago, BOSSIP has learned.
Johnson pled guilty in 2015 to disorderly conduct (domestic violence) stemming from a brawl with her then fiance, Brittney Griner. Prosecutors agreed to dismiss her assault charge as part of a plea deal.
Under the deal, Johnson was ordered to pay a $236 fine and attend six months of domestic violence counseling. However, a judge found that Johnson ignored her sentence and he issued the warrant, according to court docs.

Johnson’s lawyer was able to persuade the judge to drop the warrant at a hearing last month, but now Johnson has to appear next month to explain why she didn’t follow through with the sentence and possibly face additional sanctions.
Once considered the power couple of women’s professional basketball, Griner and Johnson were married for less than a year, and are parents to year old twins Ava Simone and Solei Diem, whom Johnson cares for while Griner plays professionally overseas. They divorced in 2016.

DeMario Jackson Seeing Therapist To Deal With Sex Assault Accusations
While DeMario Jackson will not be charged with sexual assault, he’s not exactly scot-free from the incident that almost ruined his life.
According to TMZ, DeMario will not return to Bachelor In Paradise when filming resumes. It is said he’s suffering from extreme anxiety and is seeing a therapist to help deal with the trauma because he will forever be linked to sexual assault even though he was proven innocent.
Meanwhile, TMZ is also reporting that DeMario’s sex partner, Corinne Olympios, has been disinvited from BIP and all “Bachelor” franchise spin-offs.
However, Corinne’s insanely understanding boyfriend, Jordan Gielchinsky, is standing by his slizzard thottie bae. Jordan believes that Corinne WAS blacked out when DeMario showed her what that mouf do and doesn’t believe what she did was cheating. Clearly she was making out with DeMario before she got to the point of blacking out, but whatever.
Jordan also spoke to some cast members who vouch for Corinne’s story and is suspicious of BIP producers because they refuse to show Corinne’s lawyers the footage of the sex scene.

Joy & Pain For Tasha: “Power’s” Naturi Naughton Talks Season Four

“Power” Season Four Returns This Sunday On Starz!
“Power’s” Naturi Naughton said viewers will see her character, Tasha, endure a ton of both love and pain on the new season of the show.
Noughton said Tasha will struggle to hold things together as her husband, James “Ghost” St. Patrick, languishes in jail for murder and Ghost’s nemesis, Kanan, kidnaps her oldest child.
“For Tasha, she is just really trying to pick up the pieces,” Noughton told BOSSIP. “Ghost is in jail. Tariq, my son, is missing. I think he’s been kidnapped and held for ransom. There’s so many things, and Tasha has to go into survival mode and protector mode.”
But Noughton said it won’t be all doom and gloom for Tasha, who has stuck by her husband despite his infidelity with childhood sweetheart, U.S. Attorney Angela Valdez.

“She also finds love this year, which is really nice,” Noughton said. “There’s a love interest for Tasha. It’s coming, and it’s nice to know that she gets to feel like a woman again. She’s felt abandoned in the last two seasons.”
The actress, who is set to give birth any day now, said filming with her three on-screen kids, including Tasha’s troubled son Tariq, helped her get ready for her own impending motherhood.
“It doesn’t scare me,” Noughton told BOSSIP. “If anything, it has prepared me. It has made me excited to be a mother. I think that instincts have kicked in naturally.”
She added: “Certain scenes, when you see the season, it’s a lot about motherhood, and what happens with the children. There’s going to be some pain, and hopefully I can learn from the mistakes Tasha has made, and not make those mistakes as Naturi.”

Chance The Rapper Bringing ASL Interpreters On Tour
Chance The Rapper is once again proving that he’s a stand-up guy and a rapper dedicated to making a difference. The Chicago emcee recently announced that he’s hired American Sign Language Interpreters for the remainder of his Be Encouraged tour.
This makes him the first rapper to personally select their own interpreters to take on a national tour.
Not only that, Chance is also offering 50 free front row tickets to each show for the deaf and hard of hearing. The interpreters are part of DEAFinitley Dope, a black-owned deaf-owned company that provides ASL interpretation for a variety of artists. Chance saw DEAFinitley Dope artists at a music festival and booked them immediately.

St. Louis Cops Shoot Fellow Off-Duty Officer Following Car Chase
Apparently, in America, despite the second amendment, if you’re Black and possess a legal gun, getting shot by a cop is still a real possibility.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a Black off-duty police officer was shot in the arm by a white colleague who “feared for his safety”.
Here’s how it happened. Police were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle when the suspects began shooting at the officers and crashed the car. That crash happened near an off-duty officer’s home, so he grabbed his department-issued weapon and ran outside to offer assistance to his boys in blue.
When the pursuing cops saw the off-duty officer they didn’t recognize him and ordered him to the ground. Once he was identified they asked him to get up and walk toward them. THEN another cop, who had just arrived on the scene, saw a Black man holding a gun while approaching the officers and opened fire, striking the off-duty cop in the arm.
What makes this even worse is that the official statement from the police department was that the off-duty cop was hit by “friendly fire” before doubling-back admitting that he was shot because the trigger-happy Johnny-come-lately cop was doing the most.
Just another day being Black in ‘Merica. SMH.
