Janet Jackson And Wissam Al Mana’s Divorce Over Parenting Dispute

After a couple of months of “leaving it in God’s hands”, Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana have finally gotten their divorce proceedings started according to E!Online.

The estranged couple appeared in a Royal Courts of Justice in London on Thursday morning to meet with Justice Anna Pauffley. Eyewitnesses say that Janet left the courthouse with her team and they looked upbeat and “in great spirits”. Meanwhile, Wissam and his team left the building looking “somber”.

Wonder if that mood is related to the rumored $500 million that Jackson is looking to remove from Wissam’s pockets. Losing that kind of gwap will definitely sour the mood to say the least.

A source has told E! that Janet has been very stressed out since the split and that differences in how to raise their son Eissa Al Mana was the main reason for the divorce.

We’re not sure if Wissam is a devout follower of any particular religion, but it’s definitely fair to wonder if that played a part in the dispute over how to parent their son.

Ice Cube Honored With Hollywood Star

Ice Cube has come a long way from spitting gangsta raps and rocking jheri curls. The west coast writer, producer, director, film maker was honored this week in Hollyweird with his own star on the Walk Of Fame. It’s about dang time! The movie Friday deserves it’s own star.

His family came out for the occasion, including wife Kimberly Woodruff and their children. So, did a few of his NWA comrades.

Mistrial Declared In Bill Cosby’s Sexual Assault Trial

A few days ago we reported that Bill Cosby might walk away from his sexual assault trial, as a free man due to a deadlocked jury.

Today, that is exactly what happened.

CNN is reporting that Cosby, who has been accused by over 50 other women for drugging and sexual assault, will not be convicted in his criminal case with Andrea Constand. Judge Steven O’Neill declared a mistrial today after the jury again failed to reach a verdict.

It should be noted that the 12 jurors consisted of 7 women and 5 men.

Upon leaving the court on Friday, Cosby seemed jovial, like a man who knew he wasn’t going to prison:

“I just want to wish all of the fathers a Happy Father’s Day and I want to thank all of the jury for their long days, their honest work individually,” Cosby said.

He said, “I also want to thank the supporters who’ve been here and please to the supporters, stay calm, do not argue with people, just keep up the great support. Thank you all. Thank you.”

Today, Constand’s attorney, Gloria Allred, spoke from in front of the courthouse and spoke directly to Cosby saying:

“It’s too early to celebrate, Mr. Cosby. Round 2 could be right around the corner…”

Sounds like this isn’t the last we will hear of this case.

Bachelor In Paradise Co-Star Says Corrine Olympios Forced Herself On Castmates

Bachelor in Paradise co-contestant Jasmine Goode is calling BS on Corinne Olympios’ victim claims against DeMario Jackson. She claims that she witnessed Corinne throughout the evening and even though she was clearly hammered, she had all her faculties and was in decent spirits after her encounter with Demario. In fact, Jasmine says DeMario wasn’t even the first guy Corinne had aggressively tried to get it popping with THAT NIGHT.

Jasmine claims that the men Corinne came after were the ones who were in a poor position to consent. As she told E!News:

“The day of the incident under investigation, Corinne did not display any change in behavior from what was observed by the cast on her season of The Bachelor. Corinne forced herself on three male cast members when they were unable to consent, in addition to engaging with DeMario. After the incident, everything seemed fine. There was no mention about being hurt. However, when producers tried to cut her off from drinking, she got upset and said, ‘Watch, watch what I’m gonna do.'”

Yikes. And as for Corinne’s attempt to blame production for her getting black out drunk and shoving her genitalia in other cast members’ faces…Jasmine says that even though booze is readily available, NO ONE is on-set force feeding the cast alcohol or egging them on to get frisky for the cameras.

“The cast is not encouraged or forced to engage in any behaviors or to drink alcohol. Producers check in to make sure the cast is comfortable and accommodate to the needs requested.”

This one is just getting messier and messier. You would think with cameras rolling the whole time, the story here would be much clearer…

Two Chicago Girls In Critical Condition After Picnic Drive-by

Two innocent elementary school girls were shot at an end of the school year picnic because some suspended children didn’t get in? That’s what Chicago police suspect, according to the Chicago Tribune.

They report that girls, ages 7 and 13 were shot as children celebrated at an “end of the school year” picnic at Warren elementary’s playground. A handful of children witnessed a black car circulating the school before over a dozen shots were fired at them. Kids screamed and scattered but unfortunately the two girls were hit, one in the hand and the other, her thigh.

Both were taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.

Police say they’ve taken three suspended students into custody after they were stopped in the car linked to the shooting. The kids attempted to attend the school event and were deny. This is how they chose to retaliate?

Not Guilty Verdict In Philando Castile Case Sparks Protest And Arrests

The news of Philando Castile’s killer, Jeronimo Yanez, being found not guilty of manslaughter set off night-long protests in St. Paul.

2,000 people flooded the streets of St. Paul and 1,500 of those are said to have blocked I-94 according to a report by TwinCities.

Police officers issued warnings that anyone standing on the interstate would be arrested. About an hour after that warning, officers began fitting angry citizens with handcuffs and carting them off, 18 people in total.

An ABCNews report states that Jeronimo Yanez was fired from his job immediately after he was found not guilty.

Sources Confirm Beyoncé Has Given Birth To Twins

It’s official! Roc-La-Familia has two new members. As the hive suspected, Beyoncé DID give birth this week according to multiple sources.

“Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and closest friends,” a source tells PEOPLE.

Great news right? While we are disappointed that Bey has yet to unveil the photoshoot of Blueprint 1 and Blueprint 2 that is surely coming, E! news issued reports of a Jay Z and Blue Ivy sighting at a L.A. area hospital Thursday as well as an exclusive item about a hospital visitor arriving with a pink and a blue balloon that has led to reports that the babies are a boy and a girl:

An unidentified woman was photographed Friday at a Los Angeles hospital, carrying a bouquet of pink, purple and blue flowers with two giant baby foot-shaped pink and blue balloons that read, “Baby Girl” and “Baby Boy.” An eyewitness said the woman walked into the front of the building, then got back into her car and drove into an underground parking lot. She emerged five minutes later without the flowers.

The woman’s gift also contained a card that reads, yep, “B & J.”

Kenya Moore Shares First Photos Of Her Husband

Happily married Kenya Moore is giving fans their first look at her new husband. The RHOA star who secretly tied the knot (off camera) in St. Lucia with a businessman she met a year ago, posted a picture of her hubby for this Father’s Day holiday. She also made sure to make it clear that while they met last year, they didn’t start dating till December after her breakup with her ex.

“Happy Father’s Day to you and all the great Dads,” wrote Kenya. “We met a year ago but didn’t speak again until December. Since we reconnected you have been my everything.”

Remains Of Missing Sailors Found Inside USS Fitzgerald

This is so sad.

According to NY Daily News reports, the bodies of several sailors have been found by search and rescue crews early Sunday following a collision between the U.S. missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald and a massive cargo ship ACX Crystal that happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Wall Street Journal reported all seven missing sailor’s bodies had been located, but a statement from the Navy said only “a number of” remains were found.

Three crew members, including the ship’s commanding officer, Cmdr. Bryce Benson, were airlifted from the vessel by Japanese military helicopters during the ship’s 16-hour trip back to Yokosuka Naval Base south of Tokyo.

All three sailors are awake and will remain under observation at the hospital until further notice,” the Navy said in a statement.

The Japanese coast guard said it received an emergency call from the Philippine container ship reporting the collision at around 2:20 a.m.

The Fitzgerald suffered extensive damage above and beneath the waterline on its starboard side.

The crash damaged two berthing spaces, a machinery room and the radio room, according to the U.S. 7th Fleet.

Vice Adm. Joseph Aucoin said most of the ship’s 200 crew members were asleep at the time of impact and there was little time to react.

“It was traumatic,” Aucoin said at a press conference Sunday.

“It was a significant impact that the crew had to fight very hard to keep the ship afloat,” Aucoin said, earlier commending the Fitzgerald sailors for their bravery.

The Fitzgerald’s captain, Cmdr. Bryce Benson, was airlifted early Saturday to the U.S. Naval Hospital in Yokosuka and was in stable condition with a head injury, the Navy said.

Two other crew members suffered cuts and bruises and were evacuated.

There were no reported injuries on the container ship, which is operated by the Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen K.K.

The bow of the massive 730-foot-long long ship was dented and showed a few scrapes.

The incident is being treated as a case of possible professional negligence, said Masayuki Obara, a regional coast guard official.

That container ship was FOUR times the size of the navy vessel. With over 200 sailors onboard, it’s amazing that more people weren’t badly injured or killed.

Sheriff David Clarke Turns Down Homeland Security Position

Musty mayo packet advocate Sheriff Clarke has turned down a position he previously accepted in Homeland Security. As previously reported the Milwaukee police official accepted a job as Assistant Secretary in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Now, however, it looks like Clarke’s turning it down.

According to The Hill, he’s reportedly withdrawn from consideration because of “significant delays” with his appointment. They also add that an adviser to the sheriff told The Washington Post that he had officially notified Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly late Friday that he had rescinded his acceptance.

Clarke was reportedly set to work on Trump’s immigration policy, of which he’s a BIG fan of.

Thank God for small blessings.
