Things are reportedly a wrap between Janet Jackson and her husband. As previously reported Janet wed billionaire Wissam Al Man back in 2012 and they welcomed their first child in January.
Now she’s reportedly left him for being “controlling.”
According to PageSix things are a wrap between the couple and they have two sources; one who says the couple’s split was “amicable” and another who says that “trouble had been brewing for months.”
Sources tell the paper that Ms. Jackson was none too pleased by her husband who dictated her appearance and the way she performed at concerts. His demands allegedly led to her “toning down her 2014 concert tour” — wearing clothing that covered her body, instead of the skin-revealing outfits fans had grown to love.
Other issues included Wissam’s reclusiveness and his issues with her trademark “bumping and grinding” in her music videos.
“It drove her crazy and she felt she was losing her fan base,” reports Page Six.
Wissam also reportedly convinced Janet to have a “simple and private” wedding ceremony. The final straw, however, was allegedly when he showed “little to no concern” about her mother Katherin Jackson’s elder abuse claims against her nephew Trent.

One of the Migos just made it rain on his own chest. Offset who previously made headlines because of his new relationship with Cardi B, is showing off some pricey new jewelry.
The rapper recently bought a 32 karat pendant in the shape of a raindrop with a 33 karat matching chain. Why? Because of the Migos’ hit “Bad and Boujee” that starts with the line, “raindrop, drop top.”
According to TMZ who spoke to the jeweler behind the chain, Elliot Avianne of Avianne & Co Jewelers, Offset spent $100k on it and wanted it ready in time for Quavo’s April 2nd birthday celebration.
The jeweler happily obliged and got it done within 48 hours.
Offset’s been parading around his raindrop chain ever since.
Most recently he wore it in an IG video showing the Migos boarding a private jet.
Must be very, very nice.

A middle school teacher in Hernando County, FL thought it was appropriate to give students an assignment where they would distinguish whether or not they were comfortable around Blacks, gays, and Arabs according to WBTV. The assignment, for a “Leader In Me” class, asked 6th graders to circle their comfort level when in certain situations….the “situations” were inclusive of the following:
1. Being approached by a “group of black men on the street”
2. Finding out the new church pastor is a woman
3. Sitting on the plane next to an “Arab”
4. A friend invites you to a gay bar
Seriously…these were questions asked of 12-year-old children and of course, their parents were pretty pissed off!
“‘How comfy are you if you see a group of black men walking to you on the street?’ That’s completely inappropriate. In no world, whatsoever, is that OK to question a child on,” said Jennifer Block, mother of a 12-year-old girl who was given the assignment.
Not only were the parents disgusted, but the students themselves were upset and surprised that a teacher would give them this type of schoolwork…
“I thought it was very inappropriate. I thought some of them were racist. I thought some of them were sexist. I thought it was completely intolerable,” said Tori Drews, a 6th grader. “There were children that were saying this is wrong. ‘Why are we doing this?’ ‘Does this have a reason?’ She was going yeah this is kind of wrong … maybe I should take it back,” Drews said. “Kids were asking if they could share it with their parents. She was like, ‘No. Don’t show your mom. Don’t take that home. I’m taking it back up,’.”
Clearly, the teacher knew this ish was wrong if she told the kids that they couldn’t show their parents, SMH. Thankfully the school officials fired her immediately…do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton are apparently back to being besties after nearly falling out on RHOA. As previously reported Phaedra Parks alleged that Shamea’s been sleeping with Kandi AND Todd, and Porsha seemed to confirm it when she added that Shamea’s “really close” with the couple.
Now after admitting that she felt betrayed by Porsha, Shamea’s apparently back on good terms with her buddy because Porsha was recently spotted at her wedding. On Saturday Shamea tied the knot with Gerald Mwangi in a traditional African ceremony and Porsha was by her side.
Ain’t that sweet?
And while she’s forgiven Porsha, Shamea admitted that it’s too late for “devil in a dress” Phaedra to apologize.
“I was cordial to Phaedra because of Porsha even last season in Miami, I tolerated Phaedra just because of Porsha’s new friendship with her,” She tells Bravo’s The Daily Dish:“But now, after her making those types of accusations, she just went too far with her chubby a**.”
Just a few weeks ago Shamea said that she needed closure with Porsha.
“I’m very neutral but I am concerned because I felt a sense of betrayal, I need closure and I need understanding,” said Shamea. “I didn’t understand why her loyalty wavered and why she chose a side.”
Looks like these two got that closure!

As fans prepare to see her make a brief return on tonight’s RHOA season finale, Kim Zolciak is speaking on rumors that she’s coming back for a permanent peach.
As previously reported Kim will face off with Kenya Moore at Chateau Sheree and accuse Kenya of being jealous of her husband and her children. There have since been rumors that not only will Kim return, but NeNe Leakes as well for RHOA’s landmark 10th season.
Now Kim’s confirming that it’s indeed a possibility for her. She tells PEOPLE that she’s strongly considering a return under one condition; a FAT paycheck.
“I’m very motivated by money,” the 38-year-old reality star told the mag. “Everything has a price. I’m just giving it to you straight. Given the right amount of money for anything? Yeah, count me in. I like to work. I have six children to support, so for sure!”
She also added that soon after she showed up to Chateau Sheree she was thrown back into the old argumentative ways of RHOA. Thanks Kenya!
“I wasn’t going in there blazing or anything. I was just going to have a good time and support Sherée,” said Kim. “And I was like, ‘Is this lady okay? Who cares?’ And then she just started popping off at the mouth – ‘You need to worry about your man.’ And you know I’m the wrong one to be popping off at the mouth to.”
[…] ‘Why are you talking about my husband? You wish you had one,’ ” she recounts telling Moore. “Definitely don’t talk about my husband, my children — just don’t go there. That kind of set me off and I was like, ‘Well, I’m right back in it! Didn’t take long!’ ”

For the first time in history, a state is offering free college for residents and of course, it’s New York. New York will be the only state in the country to offer universal public college tuition coverage for working- and middle-class residents after the program was included in the budget package approved Sunday night, according to NBC.
New York State’s governor Cuomo said college is as essential as high school today, and had more to say about the state’s offer to provide free education to applicants:
“With this budget, New York has the nation’s first accessible college program. It’s a different model,” said Governor Cuomo. “Today, college is what high school was—it should always be an option even if you can’t afford it. The Excelsior Scholarship will make college accessible to thousands of working and middle class students and shows the difference that government can make. There is no child who will go to sleep tonight and say, I have great dreams, but I don’t believe I’ll be able to get a college education because parents can’t afford it. With this program, every child will have the opportunity that education provides.”
Many states now participate in programs that offer grants to college students. This will be the first only universally free program that offers education.
