Music Exec And BOSSIP Contributor Garnet Reid Dies At 49-Years-Old
BOSSIP is mourning the loss of a family member today. We learned of the passing of our friend and colleague Garnet Reid Tuesday evening after his body was found in his Atlanta home. A music business veteran with nearly 30 years experience in the industry, Reid was only 49-years-old. While at Universal, Garnet introduced the world to multi-platinum selling artists including Lil Wayne, Birdman and Nelly. The levels of scumbucketry in the marital drama between Keshia Knight-Pulliam and “heartless” Ed Hartwell have reached new lows according to the court papers revealed by TMZ.
A female friend of Ed’s, Damia Ward-Henley, testified that Ed’s new side piece Tonya Carroll had come to her asking about “something that would cause someone to have a miscarriage”.
As we reportedly previously, Ed began smashing this broad to smithereens while his WIFE, Keshia, sat at home with their child inside of her. Once Tonya learned of Keshia’s pregnancy, she allegedly became irate because she wanted Ed to leave Keshia for her.
She must have thought the a baby would motivate Ed to work things out with his WIFE. Damia alleges that Tonya asked her with help finding a method to cause Keshia a miscarriage. How much of a soulless wench must you be to be to pray on another woman’s miscarriage? Ed’s pipe must be a helluva drug.
Damia says she tried to convince Tonya to leave Ed’s MARRIED a$$ alone and move on.

Stephen Hill Leaves BET
A huge network shakeup is rocking BET.
Stephen Hill, the longtime President of Programming who was a staple for nearly two decades, is “exiting” alongside Zola Mashariki, BET’s Executive Vice President and Head of Original Programming.
Details on their departure are skimpy, but according to The Hollywood Reporter BET CEO Debra Lee announced the transition to staff Wednesday afternoon. In a memo, Lee says Hill made the decision to “step-down”, and noted that his contributions to the network are “invaluable.”
Hill also released his own memo and praised BET staff for being trailblazers.
“There is an abundance of talent at BET Networks; each person a spark that can start the blaze of the next success; to again take what is currently unimaginable and set on a path to make it real. It has been my immeasurable joy to work alongside you.[…] I will miss you all. I will miss this. I will miss us. But I am so excited to see where you next take this powerful, agile, thrusting spacecraft of a brand.”
Hill is known for bringing 106 & Park, the New Edition biopic, the BET Awards and the BET Hip-Hop Awards to life.
Just last night he was promoting BET’s new series “Rebel.”

Medics Fired For Dancing Near Unconscious Patient In Surgery Prep
Some poor man is about to have an invasive surgery and these vacas are dancing and laughing like they just got in the VIP section at the club for free.
The Mirror is reporting that the 5 medics seen in the now-viral video have all been fired from the Santa Cruz de Bocagrande clinic in Colombia for their embarrassing and unethical behavior.
So sayeth the clinic’s head honcho:
“The respect for dignity of every patient is the most important thing in our clinic, therefore we strongly regret the inappropriate behaviour of those who are working as professionals in the health sector, seen in the video recorded in one of our surgery rooms”.
They continued saying five workers were no longer employed there as a result of the footage as “their actions are against the dignity of the patient and are breaking the protocols and the political values of our institution focused on the quality and humanisation of our service.”
Looks like just another day at Dr. Miami’s office.

Congratulations! KeKe Wyatt Expecting Baby Number 9!
KeKe Wyatt Pregnant Again
KeKe Wyatt is set to become a new mom AGAIN. The R&B songstress who told us last year that she was considering a “KeKe Plus 8” reality show, is now set to welcome another child.
The news comes after the songstress was seen in Atlanta this week clearly cradling her pregnant belly.
No word yet on how far along she is but KeKe’s been open about wanting to expand her family.
“I thought I was done three kids ago. So I’m not fixed, he’s not fixed, so you never know!” the songstress previously told Wendy Williams.
KeKe had four children in her first marriage and has three with her husband Michael. She also has a step-child from Michael’s previous relationship.
KeKe’s obviously been doing a great job hiding her pregnancy, this was her just five weeks ago…

Ciara And Russell Wilson Celebrate New Arrival With Baby Shower
Ciara and Russell Wilson marked the impending arrival of their new little bundle of joy with family and friends with a co-ed baby shower yesterday.
The Wilsons’ guests showered them with baby gifts and chowed down on burgers and milkshakes catered by Shake Shack at a private home in Los Angeles, under a tent overlooking the city’s skyline.
Inside, the tent decorated with string lights and big balloons (no word on the color) adorned with gold and silver strings, while gold elephant statues, floral arrangements, candles and books covered the tables in the dining area.
Friends of the Mama-to-be-again, including LaLa Anthony and Serena Williams, played games and danced the night away in celebration and anticipation of the new baby. Take a look:

Trump University To Pay $25 Million Lawsuit Settlement To Cheated Students
Nah, Don-Don, cut that check.
Federal Judge Gonzolo Curiel has given his consent to a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed against the President of the United State’s shady school according to NYDailyNews. $25 million will be awarded to the thousands of Americans who were cheated by the orange huckster’s education-for-profit scheme.
The settlement turned out to be a global deal that combined two California class-action lawsuits and a civil action by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
“Today’s final approval by a judge of our Trump University settlement will provide relief — and hopefully much-needed closure — to the victims of Donald Trump’s fraudulent university,” Schneiderman said in a statement.
“Trump University’s victims waited years for compensation, while President Trump refused to settle and fought us every step of the way — until his stunning reversal last fall,” he said.
The angry students won’t get ALL of their money back, but the report states that the 3,730 students will receive about 90¢ on the dollar.
The sad part is Trump probably feels like he got a good deal because he didn’t have to make restitution in full. SMH.
Hopefully all these people can go get a real education with that money.

Florida College Students Popped In Prostitution Ring
Three students from University of Miami and Florida International University were arrested during a prostitution sting this week, after an undercover police operation. They agreed to slap cheeks with an undercover officer for $5,000 according to ABC 10.
The students Acacia Friedman, 23, Maury Noun, 21 and Samara Charlotin, 19, were arrested after Friedman and Charlotin reportedly meeting the cop at the Colonnade Hotel.
The policeman asked them to verify “what he was getting” for the money he handed over, and while at first, the women said that it would be a “hang out,” they did agree that there would be sex with a condom.
Both Friedman and Charlotin were charged for prostitution. Charlotin was also charged with 1 gram of cannabis and one Oxycodone pill. Noun was hit with a charge of aiding and abetting.
Judge Mindy Glazer ordered the youngest of the bunch, Charlotin tobstay away from the other two, saying, “You’re a smart girl, and if you want to see age 20, you need to find a new line of employment. A very risky thing you are doing, alright, for someone with a lot of potential such as yourself. You need to stay away from them.”
