Oprah’s FINALLY on her way back to Network TV. At least from time to time.
The daytime talk show empress has been busy running her OWN network for the last few years…but now, she’s finally giving us that “Oprah Interview” fix we’ve been missing.
60 Minutes producers announced on Tuesday that Oprah Winfrey will join the program as a special contributor starting this fall. Both the network and Oprah seem pretty excited to get these new segments rolling. Via The Hollywood Reporter:
“There is only one Oprah Winfrey,” 60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager said Tuesday morning. “She has achieved excellence in everything she has touched. Her body of work is extraordinary, including thousands of interviews with people from all walks of life. She is a remarkable and talented woman with a level of integrity that sets her apart and makes her a perfect fit for 60 Minutes. I am thrilled that she will be bringing her unique and powerful voice to our broadcast.”
Winfrey added, “I’ve been a big admirer of 60 Minutes since my days as a young reporter. Scott Disick just left the Kardashian family vacay…and went running straight to the arms of a brand new bae in Miami just 24hours later.
Scott was seen out in the broad daylight, kissing hugging all up on this blonde beauty Jessica Harris — known on social media as J. Lynne. She’s a Philadelphia native who only moved to Miami just a few weeks back to work as a model.
Scott and J were caught on camera getting close on the beach and in the pool, with Jessica wrapping her legs around Scott and Scott kissing on her neck.
Of course, Kourtney says she couldn’t care less who Scott is splashing around with and loving up on in his off time.

A Florida woman claims that Spirit Airlines flight attendants harassed her over her exposed cleavage, even making comments and scolding her after she had fully covered up with a coat. Once she began crying and another passenger noted that she was being mistreated…she AND the concerned woman were both booted from the flight.
However, Spirit says that’s not the case. As spokesperson Paul Berry told Local 10, the woman was drunk and belligerent, and the flight attendant told her to cover up as an aside:
“Nobody was taken off a plane because of cleavage. People are taken off of planes because of their behavior.
The flight attendant made that decision, and as she was leaving, she said, ‘By the way, you might want to cover up.’ It was more of a personal statement to her.”
Interesting. Doesn’t quite explain why the other lady was kicked off…but time and lawsuits will tell the eventual truth.

Apparently, people are still purchasing tickets to Lauryn Hill concerts, and leaving shocked and upset upon realizing that Lauryn DGAF about her scheduled performances.
According to NJ.com, Lauryn pulled her regular stunt tonight at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh. Her concert was slated to start at 8 p.m., but as a whole slew of angry fan tweets revealed, she didn’t show up until well after 11 p.m.
The stop was part of Lauryn’s “MLH Caravan: Diaspora Calling” tour. Dozens of fans headed back to the box office for refunds while series of DJs substituted for several hours.
No word on how long of a performance she was able to pull off after that…seeing as how most concert venues have cut-off times for how late they’ll run.
But seriously…we aren’t clear who is still paying their hard-earned, tax-deducted coins on Lauryn Hill concerts then being somehow shocked when she shows up the next day, if ever. We were under the impression…especially after Lauryn said OUT HER OWN MOUTH that things like punctuality and delivering on contracts and bookings just ain’t her scene.

A Middle-Eastern doctor and his entire family were deported through Cheeto Mussolini’s executive order that immediately restricted travel from seven predominantly Muslim countries and temporarily stopped a refugee program for Syrians.
According to NBC Philadephia, Dr. Ghassan Assali and his wife Sarmad Assali both admitted that they voted for Donald Trump in the last election. Jokes on you!
Six members of the Assali family – comprising of two brothers, their wives and two children – were detained by Customs and Border Protection officials after disembarking a Qatar Airways flight at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, hours before a Brooklyn federal judge issued a stay on deportations initiated under Trump’s executive order.
As a result, the six relatives were forced onto an 18-hour flight to Doha and are currently in Damascus, said relative Joseph Assali from Allentown. One of his relatives experienced heart problems on the flight and was given oxygen.

It’s 2017 and Hooters has decided that it’s time to stop objectifying women, kinda.
According to The Tampa Bay Times, the company that owns Hooters will be launching a new restaurant venture called “Hoots” and it is NOT what you’ve become accustomed to when visiting the sexual gratifying wing spot:
Hoots will feature an abbreviated, one-page menu with some of the most popular items from full-service Hooters restaurants, including its classic chicken wings, in a new, scaled-down concept that’s part of the fast-casual trend, a news release said.
The initial Hoots, located in Cicero, Ill., will be 2,800 square feet, with 75 seats and a full-service bar, but will rely on counter service for both take out and dine-in customers, rather than having servers come to guests’ tables. It’s expected to open in mid-February.
One thing customers won’t be seeing at Hoots: the iconic Hooters uniform of orange shorts and tight white tank tops that helped earn the chain distinction as a “breastaurant.” Spokeswoman Lizz Harmon said that the Hoots concept will eschew the revealing outfits, and will also feature both male and female servers at the counter.

An essay contest about ‘white privilege’ has offended a white town!
Connecticut’s Gold Coast recently sponsored a Teen Diversity student essay contest on the topic of white privilege in the wealthy town. According to CBS News, caucasian residents are now outraged over the contest…
Residents like 72-year-old Bari Reiner claim the contest is offensive to white locals:
“It’s an open town,” Reiner said. “There are no barricades here. Nobody says if you’re black or whatever, you can’t move here.”
The contest, put on by the town’s diversity council, asks students to describe the impact white privilege has had on their lives, using a term that refers generally to advantages conferred automatically to whites, and not to minorities. The concept has moved into the mainstream as the nation has discussed race more openly.
The contest asks students to describe the impact white privilege has had on their daily lives to win up to a $1,000 prize. TEAM Westport add they have ‘developed a unique role by engaging the community in and drawing attention to issues surrounding multiculturalism and diversity — making the invisible, visible.’

As you’ve probably heard by now, Scott Disick had joined the Kardashian family vacation in Costa Rica to spend time with his kids Mason, Penelope and Reign. It wasn’t really clear if he and Kourtney are on or off right now because he was definitely posting stuff like this:
Which would make you think he’s still loving up on Kourtney, BUT then he left Costa Rica and flew to Miami where he was photographed snuggling up to two different girls on two different days.
The reason for the quick departure?
Sources close to Scott tell TMZ Scott secretly flew a girl to Costa Rica where the KJ Klan are filming for their show, but this fool booked the sidepiece at the same hotel where the crew were staying. Scott was definitely being shady, but it didn’t work as a crew member ended up snitching to Kim and Kris.
BOTH had words with Scott — but not over Kourtney. According to this report — the pair have been split for ages and she doesn’t GAF, BUT they felt it was disruptive and disrespectful. Anyway, Scott left for Miami, no one knows what happened to the chick he brought to Costa Rica but in Miami he was with one girl and then another and has reportedly been enjoying himself way more than he was with the Klan.
Ummmmm… Do you agree that he was wilding? Or do you think that Kim and Kris shouldn’t care if Kourtney doesn’t?

The incredibly gifted singer recently sat down with Latina Magazine to discuss the origin of his innovative sound. Mars says American music is ‘black music’ because everything started in the Motherland and that’s a fact, Jack!
“When you say ‘black music,’ understand that you are talking about rock, jazz, R&B, reggae, funk, doo-wop, hip-hop, and Motown. Black people created it all. Being Puerto Rican, even salsa music stems back to the Motherland [Africa]. So, in my world, black music means everything. It’s what gives America its swag. I’m a child raised in the ‘90s. Pop music was heavily rooted in R&B from Whitney, Diddy, Dr. Dre, Boyz II Men, Aaliyah, TLC, Babyface, New Edition, Michael, and so much more. As kids this is what was playing on MTV and the radio. This is what we were dancing to at school functions and BBQs. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for these artists who inspired me. They have brought me so much joy and created the soundtrack to my life filled with memories that I’ll never forget.”
And for all you haters who are confused about Bruno’s racial identity. He cleared that up too:
“I’d love to clear that up in Latina magazine,” he says, raising his voice. “I never once said I changed my last name to hide the fact that I’m Puerto Rican. Why would I fu**ing say that? Remember when we told you that Kirk Franklin gave a Twitter troll holy hell and subtly offered to introduce them to the Draco in “Jesus’ name”?
Well Kirk’s not done and he recently explained that the reason his holy choppa’s been singing “Stomp”, is because his daughter is being cyber bullied.
According to the gospel artist, his daughter Kennedy Elizabeth has been targeted by Twitter trolls and he’ll gladly see them outside to protect her.
He also added that he’s a “non weak no punk Christian.”
