Employees of a Houston Popeyes have been fired after they posted a video showing them preparing food on the dirty floor. The video has gone viral and Popeyes released a statement saying the company is “disgusted” and the video is “not acceptable.” The franchise has called in Houston health officials who have since investigated the restaurant and their results say the place is up to standard in code.

The cast of “Hidden Figures” had a shocking victory Sunday that was nothing short of a black girl magic moment.
Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer who portrayed Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaugh and Mary Jackson in the inspiring film, accepted the SAG award for “Best Cast in a Motion Picture”, beating out favorites “Moonlight” and “LaLa Land.”
Taraji spoke on behalf of the cast and tearfully told the world that the women who inspired the picture were “hidden figures no more.”
The cast then posed backstage in the press room…
and everything was LIT.

Uber is getting deleted after the ridesharing company was accused of “strikebreaking” during the JFK protests over the Muslim refugee crisis.
According to Yahoo Finance, angry customers used the #DeleteUber hashtag to gain awareness after the company continued to pick up passengers after taxis decided to strike the Muslim ban.
The New York Taxi Workers Alliance called for the one-hour strike. Many of its members are Muslim.
San Francisco-based Uber issued a response later, saying “…it was not meant to break up any strike. We wanted people to know they could use Uber to get to and from JFK at normal prices, especially tonight.”
Lyft also operated during the strike, but managed to escape the backlash. The company has announced it will donate $1 million over the next four years to help oppose the immigration ban.

This is amazing… The whole world is watching Trump and Bannon’s attempts to spread xenophobia and racism through executive orders and they are showing their disapproval.
In Britain, a petition to keep Trump from making an official state visit to the country had gained over a million signatures by Monday morning — likely in response to the racist travel ban he signed Friday.
According to CNN reports, the petition was created on the country’s Government and Parliament website at the end of November and had been signed by just 372 signatures in two months. That all changed this weekend and the number continues to grow.
Graham Guest, the British lawyer who created the petition, said he had no specific issue or policy position in mind when he started the petition. It was just Trump the man, really.
“Maybe Trump’s travel ban has angered people and they want him to know what it’s like to be banned from a country,” he wrote to CNN.
The petition says Trump would be allowed into the country, but that an official state visit would “cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen.”
“Donald Trump’s well documented misogyny and vulgarity disqualifies him from being received by Her Majesty the Queen or the Prince of Wales. Therefore during the term of his presidency Donald Trump should not be invited to the United Kingdom for an official State Visit,” the petition states.
Several British officials have already slammed Trump’s latest policy. British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson called the ban “divisive and wrong,” while London Mayor Sadiq Khan described it as “shameful and cruel.” British Prime Minister Theresa May was the first foreign leader to meet officially with Trump. She visited Washington on Friday and extended an invitation for him to visit the UK, which Trump accepted. In regards to the ban, May said Sunday “we do not agree with this kind of approach.”
According to the rules, any petition with 100,000 signatures or more automatically qualifies for consideration to be debated in Parliament.
We support their ban and hope this opens the eyes of the ignorant folk who voted a racist into office. Hate will not be tolerated.

In Missouri in the early 1860s, a “Snowflake” was a person who was opposed to the abolition of slavery—the implication of the name being that such people valued white people over black people. The Snowflakes hoped slavery would survive the country’s civil war, and were contrasted with two other groups. The Claybanks (whose name came from the colorless color of the local terrestrial clay) wanted a gradual transition out of slavery for slaves, with eventual freedom accompanied by compensation to slave owners; the Charcoals—who were also called Brown Radicals—wanted immediate emancipation and for black people to be able to enlist in the armed forces.

This story is absolutely horrifying. A Maryland man is accused of killing three co-workers at the restaurant where he worked as a bartender Sunday.
According to WJLA reports:
The carnage unfolded around 2:15 a.m. Sunday inside the ‘Blue Sunday Bar and Grill’ in the Hilltop North Shopping Center along Race Track Road – a strip mall with stores including a 7-Eleven, Jersey Mike’s and Outback Steakhouse. By the time police arrived, two employees were dead, a third was taken to the hospital where they later died too.
Within hours of arriving at the restaurant, Prince George’s County Police identified Karlief Moye, 40, as the sole killer. Around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, a swarm of officers surrounded Moye’s Silver Spring home, nestled along the 1100 block of La Grande Road.
Police spotted Moye running towards a wooded area where he shot himself twice. Paramedics transported him to the hospital where he is recovering. Sources tell ABC7 that they believe Moye will survive.
Investigators have not divulged an exact motive, but did classify this triple-homicide as a case of “workplace violence.”
Moye posted this explicit message on his Facebook Page last week:
