Remember the “TeacherBae“Patrice Brown? The grade school teacher that took social media by storm with scantily clad classroom fashion. Well she has a new side hustle, and no she’s not tutoring during after school hours. She’s making club appearances and hosting parties throughout the south.
You know how even the biggest bully on the playground eventually meets his match when he tries to punk the wrong kid? That’s basically what happened to these famous Black men when they tried to school Black women on what to do with everything from their butts to their lipstick and quickly found out just how insignificant their little lives and words are in the minds of their intended victims.
We were so excited to see the images of Riri Williams, the new “Iron Man,” when the first came out. That excitement turned to concern when Entertainment Weekly, posted a collage of Black actresses who would be good for the role. While the original illustration of RIri, by Stefano Caselli, was a dark-skinned girl with coarse hair, the one that appeared on a recent cover looked completely different. She was lighter complected, her hair had a looser curl and the biggest complaint that people had was that this never version of Riri looked nothing like a 15-year-old girl should.
Meek Mill is back on Twitter, and his Instagram has returned from being AWOL. Not so coincidentally, the Philadelphia used both to announce the release date for his long delayed Dreamchasers 4 project. Meek posted the album’s cover with the caption, “Tomorrow #DC4LIFE.” The cover is young Meek sporting a bandage over one eye, while the over looks swollen. Fitting considering he’s been taking lumps from Drake, the Game and his own Philly rap peer Beanie Sigel. Also, the Internets hasn’t been too kind either. Dropping so fire music will shut everyone up, though.

According to TMZ, the cops are investigating Rob Kardashian for threats he made against one of Blac Chyna’s “male friends”.
Chyna and a brotha named Pilot Jones (who?) were seen swappin’ spit online back in March during one of the couple’s many “break ups”.
As the story goes, Pilot is shook to death over some texts that Rob contorted his chubby fingers to send which warned of future consequences:
“Leave my wife alone. I’m not playing with you.”
Cops are saying they have more texts which threaten physical violence if Pilot doesn’t stay in his place.
Rob is gonna have to get in a lot better shape if he’s gonna be out here playing finger gangsta with other grown men.

Earlier this month Grammy award-winning superstar Alicia Keys stopped traffic and thrilled fans with a surprise concert to celebrate the upcoming release of her latest album, HERE.
During the nearly two hour long show, the singer/songwriter performed some of her classic hits including “No One,” “Fallin’” and a special rendition of “If I Ain’t Got You” joined by Questlove and John Mayer. Keys debuted new tracks from the album along with her latest singles “In Common” and “Blended Family” while also paying tribute to legendary artists Bob Marley and John Lennon.
Rapper Nas took the stage with a special guest verse and Q-Tip got the crowd pumped with a throwback DJ set. The biggest surprise of the night featured Jay-Zjoining Keys to perform their iconic New York anthem “Empire State of Mind” that had fans shouting along in unison.

Second, the R&B icon says that the infamous and ambiguous “incident” that happened on a yacht while the couple vacationed in Greece was completely disrespectful to her assistant. Let Mariah tell it, it was so traumatic that she was forced to cancel her tour in South America.
Last, but certainly not least, Mariah claims that James made promises to break her off a certain amount of bread.

Here’s a pretty interesting story. 13-year-old Chanise Benson was sent home from the George Pindar School in the UK, after returning from break wearing white braids, which she wanted to have for her sister’s birthday after seeing Beyoncé wear a similar look. Her pops, 39-year-old Darren Benson is heated after dropping around $170 on the look AND he feels that the school is operating under a double standard because Chanise is white, while a friend of hers (of Jamaican descent) has been allowed to wear a similar style with a red color, instead of white.
According to NYTLive reports, he’s calling the decision, “racism against their own.”
“I’ve read the policy regarding haircuts and I can’t see what rule she has broken.” Benson contacted the North Yorkshire County Council to settle the argument, but was advised to deal with his daughter’s school directly.
Sounds like a hot mess if you ask us… What’s also really funny in the story is that the dad refers to the look as “dreads.” But y’all know Brits love to use different words than us so who knows if that’s just his own funny steez or actually how they refer to any kind of long braided or dreaded look. In the meantime Benson is hoping the school will back down.

The school was unable to comment as it is now half term. But a policy document on the school’s website states: “Please note we do not allow extreme, unnatural hairstyles or coloring. Any hair accessories should be of a practical nature and should not be decorative.
“If you are in doubt please contact your child’s tutor at the school. Hair should be no shorter than a Grade 3 cut.”
The policy continued: “Please be aware that what is and is not acceptable will be decided by the school in line with this policy and the school’s decision is final.
“Please note that in sending your child to George Pindar School that you are agreeing to ensure your child abides by this policy.
“If you have any queries or questions regarding any aspect of uniform, jewelry, hairstyle, please could you contact the school.”
A spokesman for George Pindar School said: “It is the first time I have heard about the matter and obviously, with it being half-term, there is no way I can get the full background details about the matter.”
We definitely object to the term unnatural when referring to braids, but we also know good and damn well why this school isn’t messing with the Jamaican student over her style. Is this clear cut racism or are they just trying to keep young Chenise from going full Beyonce?

Remember when Sevyn Streeter put the Philly 76ers on blast for refusing to let her sing the national anthem over her “racially charged” BLM jersey?
Well apparently in addition to some vocal outraged fans…a few players made it clear that they weren’t happy with indirectly being told that Black people shouldn’t declare that they matter. Via TMZ Sports:
We know several players are upset. One player who wishes to remain anonymous says the decision to not let Sevyn sing has rubbed him the wrong way.
It’s not like there’s a locker room revolt in the works — but as one team source puts it, “The organization owes Sevyn an apology and we hope that happens soon.”
Well it looks like the organization heard them loud and clear…because next thing you know, the 76ers realized the error of their ways and shot an apology — and an invitation to return — to Sevyn for cutting her from the pre-game activities:
“We are sorry that this happened.
After receiving feedback from our players, basketball operations staff and ownership group, we believe that the wrong decision was made, and Sevyn should have been welcomed to sing.
We apologize to her, and in an effort to move the conversation forward, we have reached out to offer her an opportunity to return and perform at a game of her choice. We are waiting to hear back.”
We hope she accepts…and shows up in FULL Black Panther regalia next time, and performs “Lift Every Voice” instead of the anthem, with her fist up, while taking a knee…
