Peter Thomas Facing $350,000 Federal Tax Lien

Peter Thomas is facing even more money woes.

Cynthia Bailey’s estranged hubby has not only FOUR liens against him for Bar One Atlanta, he also owes the government $350,000 in back taxes according to Radar Online.

In addition to the club owner’s $150,000 lawsuit for allegedly defrauding an investor, Peter Thomas is approximately $350,000 in tax debt, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

On June 10, 2014, Thomas was hit with a $43,028 federal tax lien.

Two months later, he received two state liens: One for $15,302, and another for a whopping $216,610.

And on February 9, 2015, after Bar One had already closed its doors, the reality star was slapped with a final state lien for $74,720.

He does not appear to have paid off any of the liens.

Though Bar One filed for bankruptcy in 2013, the case was ultimately dismissed, meaning Thomas was still responsible for the company’s many debts.

In February 2014, Thomas was sued for allegedly falling $100,000 behind on rent for Bar One. It closed down for good just months later.

So far Peter’s remained mum on his legal troubles and instead he’s focusing on his current Sports One property in Charlotte.

Disney Confirms Lion King Live Action Remake

Disney’s animated classic “Lion King” will be coming to a theater near you but with an entirely new look. The iconic film studio has announced today that “Jungle Book” director Hon Favreau will helm the project reports Yahoo News:

Disney announced Wednesday that Jon Favreau, who helmed the box-office hit “Jungle Book” remake, will direct the new “Lion King.” He’s also at work on a “Jungle Book” sequel.

The circle of life now inevitably leads to live-action remakes for Disney classics. The new “Lion King” follows in the wake of similar remakes for “The Jungle Book,” ”Cinderella,” ”Pete’s Dragon” and the upcoming “Beauty and the Beast.”

We all know how this one ends…

Bobby Brown Says Nick Gordon Will Be Brought To Justice

Bobby Brown is on a mission to bring justice to whoever was involved in the death of Bobbi Kristina. The singer recently opened up about about the guilty verdict in Nick Gordon’s wrongful death suit. Bobby now tells T.D. Jakes that only ONE thing can bring him closure after losing his beloved daughter…

“I don’t know the specifics of what happened, but as the judge has said, he is legally responsible,” the 47-year-old “My Prerogative” singer said in an interview on “The T.D. Jakes Show” that will air Wednesday night.

“The D.A. still hasn’t taken out criminal charges on Nick Gordon, and that’s what I’m waiting for him to do. That’s when I think I will get some closure.”

Bobby adds that he knows Nick is legally liable for the death of Bobbi Kristina and that alone has brought some form of peace to him since her tragic passing…

“But until then, just knowing that he’s legally responsible for my daughter’s death has given me a bit of calmness to waiting for that D.A.”

That number drops to around 9 percent for full-time professors of color. Townville Elementary School Shooting

South Carolina authorities are reporting that there’s been another school shooting. At least two students and one teacher were injured after a teenage gunman opened fire at Townville Elementary School.

WYFF4 reports:

Two students were injured and airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital and a female teacher taken by ambulance to AnMed after a shooting at Townville Elementary School, according to Taylor Jones with Anderson County Emergency Management.

Deputies told WYFF News 4 that they have a teenage suspect in custody.

Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Sheila Cole said the shooting happened shortly after 1 p.m. at the school at 105 State Road in Townville in Anderson County.

Armed officers were at the school before 2 p.m. Multiple law enforcement vehicles lined the driveway.

Parents were waiting nearby and children were being brought out of the back of the school.

The evacuated students moved by bus to Oakdale Baptist Church at 6724 Highway 24 in Townville.

The Anderson County Coroner’s Office is investigating a death on Osborne Road in Townville that officials say is connected with the shooting at the school. The location is a little more than 3 miles from school.

Not only are we still dealing with the remnants of slavery; but the way the prison industrial complex is set up, slavery just took on a different form in this country. It is this topic that filmmaker Ava DuVernay explores in her new documentary 13th. The new film will be screened at the upcoming New York Film Festival and will have a limited theatrical release. It will have a home on Netflix. In the trailer alone different experts talk about how after the 13th amendment abolished slavery, with the exception of those sentenced to serve jail or prison time, the narrative that Black men were inherently dangerous and criminal became pervasive in this country. On September 9, 2016, thousands of inmates in correctional facilities across the country went on a work and hunger strike to demand several changes to how prisons are run in this country. But more specifically, they want to see an end to prison slave labor. I spoke to Azzurra Crispino, media co-chair of the Incarceration Workers Organizing Committee about the strike, the prisoners demands and why this strike, which is now in its third week, has not been getting the media attention it deserves… CB: So what prisons started the strike? And how many prisons are now participating? Crispino: The Free Alabama Movement and the Holman [Correctional Facility] unit initially called for the strike and they count as the first. But we have tracked at least 46 units that went on strike on September 9th. And we estimate over 50,000 inmates have been impacted by the strike…

French Montana Shouts “Black Lives Matter” After Being Pulled Over

French Montana found himself in the middle of New York earlier this morning dealing with the NYPD, this after he and others were pulled over in a vehicle where the rapper was a passenger. The Max B protege recorded the entire ordeal all while saying the refrain “Black Lives Matter” to the officers. TMZ reports: French and a bunch of friends were being driven in an SUV leaving Aces in Queens early Wednesday … when they got stopped. While recording video, he threw a few verbal jabs at the officers.
He referred to them as “hip-hop cops” (the alleged NYPD unit dedicated to tracking rappers) … and repeatedly yelled, “Black lives matter.” It’s unclear why French and co. got pulled over, or if anyone was ticketed…

Dad Sexually Assaulted Then Murdered Teen Daughter While High

18-year-old Daizsa Bausby’s life was cut entirely too short after her junkie father brutally sexually assaulted then killed her in a local Kansas City motel.

The Honor Roll student tried for years to help her father get sober after battling with addiction for most of her childhood. Police believe Daizsa was lured to the motel by her father then attacked while he was high on drugs.

FOX4KC reports that Daizsa’s family suspected her father was guilty of the crime after he skipped her funeral and stopped responding to relatives.

On March 20th Jerry Bausby called Daizsa at home, and within an hour, she was gone. The next day, Daizsa was found dead on a bed at 4 Acres Motel. Investigators say she was sodomized then suffocated. Police caught Jerry Bausby on surveillance video and the Kansas City crime lab found Daizsa’s DNA on his genitals.

“That was the hardest thing to deal with, just to be in Daizsa’s shoes, to see her own father take advantage of her, she was helpless,” Martin said.

Family believes Daizsa might’ve left with him that Sunday in March, to help him get clean. They say that’s just who she was; a giver by nature and a mentor to her classmates.

Jerry Bausby has been charged with first degree murder, sodomy, incest and sexual abuse. The ain’t isht father is being held on a $750,000 cash only bond. Please keep the Daizsa’s family in your prayers and thoughts as they go through this traumatic time.

Lil Meech Talks The BMF Series & Big Meech

On the latest episode of “Don’t Be Scared” Lil Meech stops by to dish on his upcoming role in 50 Cent’s forthcoming BMF series.

As previously reported Big Meech, the incarcerated head of BMF, personally gave permission to Fif to bring the story of BMF’s empire to Starz.

Now Lil Meech is slated to portray his famed father in the show, and he recently told Dani, Jah and Janee that his family originally shielded him from knowing his father’s true identity.

“Do you remember how old you were when you realized your dad was this huge legend especially here in Atlanta?” asked Dani. ”

“I always saw BMF, BMF, everywhere but he always kept me out of that way,” said Lil Meech. “All I remember is him taking me out and showing me nice stuff and we’d have my big birthday parties.

“One day at school I got curious and searched BMF on the internet and I found out everything,” he added. “I read Wikipedia, I found out everything for myself because my family didn’t want to tell me.”

He also recalled the most extravagant party his father ever threw for him.

“I think it was my 5th or 6th birthday party, he actually had this dude dress up in a Spiderman suit and he got on top of my roof,” said Meech. “He was doing all these tricks, I really thought he was Spiderman.”

Venus Williams Under Fire For “All Lives Matter” Response When Asked About Serena Statement

Just days after we praised Serena Williams for her woke-as-hell statement about police brutality and how she plans to use her voice, her sister Venus uttered the three most incendiary words on social media.

All. Lives. Matter.

The fire-starting quip came in response to a reporter asking Venus about her sister’s aforementioned Instagram post.

Suffice to say people are NOT feeling Venus and they aren’t shy about letting her know that from the safety of their computer screens and keyboards.

Remember last year we reported on Charlo Greene who quit while live on Alaskan TV to open a marijuana dispensary? Well, Alaska is not as forward thinking as California, Wa. State, or Oregon when it comes to dank and she has been charged with 8 criminal counts which could lead to a lengthy prison sentence.

TheGuardian.com:

Greene quickly became a full-time cannabis advocate, working to help Alaskans access pot after the state became the third in the US to legalize recreational pot in November 2014.

But despite the voter-approved initiative, Alaska has not helped her start a legitimate marijuana operation. On the contrary, the state launched a series of undercover operations and raids at her club, ultimately charging her with eight serious criminal offenses of “misconduct involving a controlled substance”.

If convicted, she could face 24 years behind bars.

“It’s almost dizzying when you try to make sense of it,” Greene said in an exclusive interview with the Guardian about her upcoming trial. “It could literally cost me the rest of my adult life.”

Wow… She should of stayed a reporter, huh?
