Bill Cosby’s Legal Team Just Got One Black Woman Shorter

Monique Pressley, the black woman a part of Bill Cosby’s legal team, has decided to call it quits. The Root reported that Pressley is the second attorney to leave the comic’s legal team since he’s been accused of sexually assaulting a number of women. As of now, the reason for her departure is unknown.

A couple of months ago, high-powered attorney Monique Pressley helped Bill Cosby into a courtroom. But now it seems as though Pressley has had a change of heart when it comes to representing the man charged with drugging and sexually assaulting a Pennsylvania woman.

Earlier this week, Pressley removed herself from Cosby’s legal team, making her the second attorney to do so over the last year. Pressley has not said why she’s dropped Cosby as a client, but needless to say, Cosby hasn’t had a good history when it comes to keeping his legal team intact.

Cosby is currently facing criminal charges in Pennsylvania in the sexual assault of Andrea Constand in 2004.

Pressley was a key member, often making public appearances to defend her client. This is an obvious blow to his legal team.

Meek Mill Isn’t Going To Let Drake’s Disrespect Slide Any Longer

Drake is currently on his Summer Sixteen Tour and he’s been fanning the flames of his victory over Meek Mill. Yesterday, in D.C., the Canadian rapper performed a slightly remixed version of “Back-to-Back.” In this newer version, he changed one of the song lyrics to take an even more disrespectful shot at Meek Milly’s character. Here’s some footage of what he said.

A year after battling Meek Mill with “Charged Up” and “Back to Back,” the 6 God continues dissing his MMG adversary on the “Summer Sixteen Tour.”

During his show in Washington, D.C. last night, Drizzy changed the lyrics to his “Back to Back” onslaught, firing yet another shot at Meek.

“I did another,” he raps. “I did another one / That pussy still ain’t did shit about the other one.”

This was particularly eye-opening because the song’s original lyrics don’t contain the word “pussy” in them. Fans immediately posted the new diss online, leading to speculation regarding Drizzy’s motives.

The timing of the new diss is certainly interesting as “Summer Sixteen” is heading to Mill’s hometown, Philadelphia, tonight.

Meek recently opened up about the beef, saying he views it as learning experience, not a loss.

“When I see an L, that’s what I think about the most,” he explained. “I learned a lot from watching these ni**as that I did a lot for in this industry. I used to always hear people say, ‘This industry’s fake. These ni**as is fake.’ I tried to come in with the real ni**a approach to try to change them, but it’s too many against one.”

Drake is scheduled to be in Philadelphia tonight and Meek has made it known that what happened in D.C. will not be happening in Philly.

Lil Uzi Vert Tried To Get It Popping At A Music Festival

Lil Uzi Vert was at the Day N Nite music festival when he bumped into his foe, Reese La Flare. Reese, who recently dropped a diss toward Uzi, was on the other side of a wall made by security as Uzi frantically tried to get in Reese’s face. No hands were thrown but the Philly “rockstar” had some choice words for the man who accused him of stealing his persona.

Complex dropped additional info on the foundation for the “beef” between the two rappers.

Be careful who you drop a diss track to because you never know when you might bump into them in real life and how they might react. A few months back a rapper named Reese LaFlare unleashed a record titled “180secs” in an attempt to tear down Lil Uzi Vert. Recently, Uzi caught up with LaFlare at the Day N Night Music Festival around Irvine, Calif., and, well, this happened:

Uzi is noticeably pissed and tries to get at LaFlare, but is held back by security. When he breaks free, he tries running back around, but is met by another wall of people who prevent the two men from coming to blows. It’s not the best look for Uzi, who spouts off an array of homophobic slurs at LaFlare before finally walking away.

Then again, if someone is claiming that you stole their whole persona in order to get ahead like LaFlare does on “180secs” – “You took my shit and you cloned it, yeah / I need that back cause I own it, yeah” – you’d be hot too.

Given the fact they’re both young and rap isn’t as violent as it used to be they’ll probably squash the beef and be on tour together by the end of the year.

Earl told TMZ the that baby is a “blessing”.

Amy Robach Apologizes For “Colored People” Slip Up On “Good Morning America”

“Good Morning America” host Amy Robach apologized today after somehow mixing up the terms “colored people” and “people of color” while talking about Zendaya playing Mary Jane Watson in an upcoming version of “Spider-Man”.

“This morning during a segment about Hollywood casting, I mistakenly said ‘colored people’ instead of ‘people of color,’” Robach said in a statement.

“I sincerely apologize. It was a mistake and is not at all a reflection of how I feel or speak in my everyday life.”

Has Black Chyna Left Her Mother Tokyo Toni Homeless?

Tokyo Toni has consistently gone to bat for her daughter Blac Chyna, and has always seemed to be pretty close with her baby girl over the years. But now, rumors are swirling that Toni has fallen on some rough times back home in DC…but for some reason, the future Mrs. Angela Renee Kardashian doesn’t have time for her mother’s money woes, and has told her to get out there and figure it out.

But where is Chy with a Kardashian check to help Momma out? According to another insider:

“Chyna told her mom to get out there and work – just like everybody else.”

Tamar And Vince Involved In Domestic Violence Incident

Looks like trouble is still brewing within Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert’s rocky relationship. The couple got involved in an intense physical domestic dispute at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead Atlanta last night, resulting in Tamar calling the police on Vince. BOSSIP has exclusively learned the details of the incident.

According to our sources, Tamar and Vince got into an extremely heated argument that turned physical. During the altercation, Vince actually bit Tamar on her hand so badly that he drew blood, and she ended up calling the police.

Witnesses say that Tamar’s finger was in extremely bad shape as she left the premises, and she very likely needed stitches to close up her wound. However, Tamar refused EMS services when they were offered.

Vince was apparently NOT arrested, as he fled the scene before police even arrived.

Even more shocking…we hear this isn’t the first time that these two have gotten physical. Sources say the couple routinely fist-fights and get into intense, physically violent altercations — something which everyone who works closely with the couple knows. They typically smooth things over and put on a good public face after each blowout…but apparently things got out of hand this time around, and police involvement was necessary.

While there have already been cheating rumors swirling around these two — on BOTH ends — we hear the source of the drama between them is actually Tamar’s career moves. Apparently after getting dropped from Epic Records and fired from The Real back to back, Tamar has given her team an overhaul and made the choice to hire new management. Our sources say she has dropped Vince and instead went with Rushion MacDonald, Steve Harvey’s former longtime manager. This has rubbed Vince the wrong way and triggered even more vicious fights between the two.

Damn…with a situation this volatile, NO WONDER those divorce rumors won’t quiet down…

BOSSIP Interview With Tori Brixx

You’ve probably seen her piercing eyes and bangin’ body dance across your timeline more than a few times, but Tori Brixx is making the leap from Instragram fame to real industry experience. And the transition seem to be going pretty smoothly…it was just announced today that she’s the first woman to be represented by Amber Rose’s new management company:

BOSSIP caught up with the model to talk about her new role on Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out and what’s next for her as she tackles acting and her own business ventures…

So for those who aren’t familiar with you, tell us a little about who you are:

Well I’m Tori Brixx. I’m New to LA, just moved here. I’m from South Carolina and I got into modeling through a photo shoot with a well-known photographer (facet studios). The pics just got really popular, and people asked “who is she?” a lot, so it just went from there.

Now, I’ve done work with Fashion Nova, Blac Chyna’s fashion line, and Khloe’s [upcoming] jean line — more like a face/figure for those brands.

So you’re on the new season of Wild ‘N Out. How was that experience for you?

The energy was so crazy on set! It was very funny, everyone was hilarious. I loved having the the opportunity to work with Nick — he’s such a professional and there was a lot to learn from him. One thing that stood out to me…we prayed before every show and that made me feel much more comfortable. We’d shoot three shows a day, and would meet to pray before each one. But it was also a great experience and wonderful opportunity to meet a lot of new people

So what’s up next for you? What projects do you have that you can speak about?

Well I’m currently visiting labs for my new lipstick line. I’m so excited to have my own business! Also, Terrence J hooked me up with a great, well known acting coach, so I’m doing sessions there and going on auditions.

Now, you’ve gained buzz and popularity through Instagram. How do you feel about being classified as an “IG Model?”

I don’t mind coming in through Instagram. Honestly, we’re on out phones/social media more than watching TV! I will say that people who say, “Oh, she’s an ‘IG model'” tend throw you into a box, and categorize you. But, I’m happy to be coming in through that media. It’s just a new time.

Clearly IG modeling pays off, because it’s just landed her a contract with Amber Rose’s new management company! Mind you, Amber herself is learning from Nick Cannon, so we’re sure Tori is in great hands:

Ciara and Russell Wilson’s wedding was the stuff of legend according to an interview that their wedding planner did for TheKnot…

The journey was worth it. Celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss, who planned Ciara and Russell Wilson’s magical castle wedding, opens up to The Knot in an exclusive interview about orchestrating the lavish destination affair.

Weiss caught up with The Knot earlier this month while co-hosting a Bachelorette finale viewing party with Wedding Paper Divas at her NYC apartment. According to the hostess — who’s planned numerous A-list nuptials — Ciara and the NFL player’s wedding was re-routed several times.

“I did the whole thing — three times,” Weiss reveals. “They were first getting married in North Carolina, but they called it off due to the transgender bathroom laws.”

Weiss also waxed poetic about Ciara’s dress and all parties involved in this royal broom-jumping.

Ciara’s elaborate wedding dress was custom-designed by Roberto Cavalli’s Peter Dundas. “Her dress in person was so much more spectacular than in the pictures, though in the pictures, they’re beautiful. In person, it was shockingly beautiful.”

Weiss says the couple opted for a neutral color palette. “All whites and creams,” the planner notes. “For dinner, it was big centerpieces. And then, the surprise after dinner was they had Earth, Wind & Fire perform in a separate tent. That was really beautiful. And it just worked. Thank the Lord!”

The bridesmaids…

Ciara’s bridal party included Anthony, Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams, who wasn’t able to make the wedding in person due to Wimbledon. “I knew all the girls,” Weiss adds. “When they’re bridesmaids, you become close with the bridesmaids too. They’re all so lovely. When I say lovely, kind, spiritual, low-maintenance, all of them.”

Russell and baby Future…

Weiss also praised the groom, who apparently has “ridiculous” taste. “He has really, really beautiful taste. He just — you should see what he looks like,” she muses. “And [Ciara’s] son is delicious. Baby Future. Very delish!”

As many fashion world people as Ciara his buddy-buddy with, this comes as no surprise. Nice gesture though…
