Kenya Moore And Matt Jordan Feud On Social Media

Kenya Moore and her ex Matt Jordan recently went AT IT on social media in front of fans.

The RHOA star and her 28-year-old former boyfriend apparently have some bad blood between them because Matt called her out for being “manipulative.”

“This woman has rejected ever positive form of stimuli I tried to bring it to her,” said Matt.

Kenya then responded with a lengthy rant about keeping personal business off social media.

She also seemingly hinted at turning down a marriage proposal from Matt marking the NINTH time a man has apparently offered Kenya his hand in marriage. “#9ProposalsAndCounting,” said Kenya. “#MyDaddyLovesMeWhereIsYoDaddyIfYouKnowWhoHeIs,” she aded.

Matt (of course) couldn’t help himself and he clapped back.

“I wasted a year and a half running towards a woman that I thought loved me only to find out that it was only to make scenes for TV,” said the personal trainer.

Shemar Moore Sues Criminal Minds Costar

A lot of drama going on on the set of Criminal Minds this week! First, actor Thomas Gibson was fired for kicking a writer…now, Shemar Moore is suing one of his former castmates for $60k after stealing it from his nonprofit. Via E!News:

Shemar Moore was in a Los Angeles court yesterday to testify against his former Criminal Minds co-star, Keith Tisdell.

Moore claims that Tisdell owes him approximately $60,000 and demands that his former colleague and friend repay him, E! News can confirm.

“We became friends…We went into business together,” Moore explained to Judge Hayden Zacky yesterday.

Moore started a charity organization to help those who battle Multiple Sclerosis, a disease that plagued his mother. Tisdell was involved in the charity, titled Baby Girl LLC.

According to court documents, Tisdell was arrested in January on suspicion of embezzlement but he subsequently admitted to grand theft.

Moore told the judge that the theft went unnoticed on his part for a long time, however, an audit revealed that cash from Baby Girl LLC was missing. As a result, Moore confronted Tisdall about the missing money and Tisdell—according to Moore—vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

“In my mind, he wasn’t man enough to look me in the eye and fess up. I’ve done a lot for him because he had me, my friends fooled. I’m not here for money. I’m here because he betrayed a friendship. This is not OK. You don’t do this to people.”

John Legend Says Chrissy Teigen’s Text Messages Made Him Fall In Love

John Legend recently revealed that his quirky wife Chrissy Teigen got a hold on his heart with through her smartphone.

John Legend has revealed it was Chrissy Teigen’s text messages and phone calls to him that made him fall in love with her.

The 37-year-old Oscar-winning singer said it was a digital romance for him and his future wife, as they tried to keep in touch in the early days of their relationship while they were apart.

The couple started dating after they met on the set of Legend’s music video for his hit Stereo in 2007. They got engaged in December, 2011, and married in Lake Como, Italy, in 2013.

“I fell in love with her over the phone because she is good with those 140 characters,” he joked to Entertainment Tonight about his romance with the Sports Illustrated model.

“(At the beginning of our relationship) we were texting a lot, and I started to see her sense of humour,” he explained. “We would talk on the phone, and I started to fall in love with how engaging and witty and funny she is.”

“And I think that’s when I really started to know that this was the kind of person I wanted to be around a lot,” Legend shared.

“Once we started spending more time together between tour stops and all this other stuff, we realised we had such a connection – and then it blossomed into a marriage and a baby.”

Olympic Swimmer Ryan Lochte Gets Robbed At Gunpoint In Rio

It’s rough in Rio…not just for spectators, but for the athletes themselves. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte became the target of an armed robbery after leaving a nightclub in Rio last night…and is reportedly pretty shaken up about it. Via MailOnline:

Gold medalist Ryan Lochte has reportedly been robbed at gunpoint in the back of a taxi after a night out partying in Rio.

Lochte and three of his American teammates had been invited out by Brazilian swimmer Thiago Pereira when the terrifying incident took place.

Pereira’s spokesman, Flávio Perez, said Lochte was unharmed in the incident that took place after a birthday party at the nightclub, Club France.

‘Thiago Pereira and his wife Gabriela Pauletti were in Club France, the French house in Brazil, and they were celebrating the birthday of a friend,’ Perez told the Washington Post.

‘Lochte was also in the same place, commemorating the same birthday. Ryan and Thiago are friends.

‘Thiago and his wife left earlier, they left alone, the two of them. Thiago and his wife went back to their hotel.

Then Thiago, on finding out what happened, called Ryan. Ryan is well, and Thiago said that the robbery, according to Ryan, was in the taxi. The taxi was robbed.’

Milwaukee Protests Turn Violent

Angry protestors recently went head to head with police after the shooting of a 23-year-old man. Milwaukee authorities report that protestors set fire to squad cars and threw bricks as they sought answers for the murder of a man by an unidentified officer.

Violence and protests erupted in Milwaukee overnight after a man was fatally shot by police during a foot chase.

Police said the victim, 23, was armed with a handgun and shot dead by an officer after fleeing a traffic stop on Milwaukee’s north side Saturday afternoon.

Hours later angry crowds took to the streets, smashing a police car and setting fire to another. One officer was injured by a flying brick; a gas station and auto-parts store were set alight. Police said gunshots were heard.

waukee Mayor Tom Barrett pleaded for calm at an early morning news conference, asking residents to “do everything” to help restore order.

“If you love your son, if you love your daughter, text them, call them, pull them by the ears and get ’em home,” he said.

The man who was killed has not been publicly identified.

Milwaukee’s mayor said the man was struck twice — in the chest and the arm — and that he believes the officer involved had a body camera on at the time of the shooting.

Milwaukee Police Assistant Chief Bill Jessup told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel newspaper it wasn’t clear if the gun was pointed at the officer.

“Those additional facts will come out in the coming days,” Jessup said.

Police said the man shot had a “lengthy arrest record” and was carrying a semiautomatic handgun reported stolen in a burglary in Waukesha in March.

Reactions To Usain Bolt Win Causes Evacuation At JFK Airport

Apparently Usain Bolt’s quick feet even created panic for those not competing with him.

JFK Airport evacuated Terminal 8 after there were reports of a shooting, but according to Daily Mirror reports, after the area had been cleared following reports of “clapping and banging”, the NYPD’s Special Ops team tweeted: “All terminals searched & cleared.

“Negative results. All affected terminals will resume operations shortly.

“No shots were fired.”

Authorities say reports of the shooting emerged at “around 9.30pm” US time – the same time that Usain Bolt won his 100m race and took home an incredible third-straight gold medal.

It’s now believed that loud crowd reactions to Bolt’s race may have caused the reports of a shooting. SMH. The Port Authority also confirmed that there was no shooting.

Cam Newton Shows Off High Fashion Style In New GQ Spread

The internet was so busy reacting to Cam Newton’s “beyond race” comments in his new GQ spread that they missed two things. One: these slightly suspect fashion-foward photos. And two: the fact that even the article’s writer doesn’t believe Cam Newton thinks America’s moved past race.

In the new GQ interview out today, writer Zach Baron openly says that Cam Newton was probably trying to be PC because he was talking to a stranger.

I want to be clear about a few things here. We’d met maybe 25 minutes prior—one of those situations where we’re both trying to talk about a lot of things in a relatively short amount of time. But faced with a national-magazine writer and a switched-on tape recorder, you too might say something other than what you really thought, if that thought seemed like a dangerous, potentially uncontrollable thing to share with a stranger.

Bishop Eddie Long Shows Off His Dramatic Weight Loss

Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church is showing off a new look.

The megachurch leader who battled sexual misconduct allegations and admitted to at one point being suicidal, has dropped a massive amount of weight after he ditched what he calls the “slave menu” and went vegan.
The AJC reports:

Bishop Eddie Long posted a video discussing his new lean look after his more slender physique apparently caused some of his congregants to worry about his health.

“People are asking, ‘Bishop, what happened to all of you?’” he says in the video, posted to his public Facebook page. “Well, all of me has meelllllted away.”

He said he told his congregation that he planned to live past 100 by dispensing with a “slave menu.”

“I wasn’t going to get (to age 100) by stopping by Popeye’s. That was my weakness,” he says. “The biscuits with honey and chicken wings, spicy.”

He chided people eating from what he called a “slave menu,” saying eating raw vegetables instead has given him more energy and lowered his blood pressure. He has lost weight and no longer has to take blood pressure medication.

Glenn Beck Urges Conservatives To Understand Black Lives Matter

Looks like the devil may be enjoying a fresh snow cone in hell right now, because notoriously bigoted GOP talking head Glenn Beck has just says he actually understands where the Black Lives Matter movement is coming from, and why Black folks get upset about silly little things like being shot dead over minor traffic violations…

“You can’t be as universally disliked as I am, and not do some soul-searching,” said Beck at a news conference before his speech in Denver. “Well, unless you’re Donald Trump.”

Among Beck’s revelations was that the Black Lives Matter movement had a point. Beck, like many conservatives, had criticized the movement as racist and exclusionary. He had led a march in Birmingham, Ala., on the theme of “All Lives Matter.” His news site, The Blaze, had written dutifully about well-meaning people who said “All Lives Matter” and were hounded by the politically correct mob.

But since the police shootings in Dallas, where his programs are recorded, Beck had come to view “Black Lives Matter” differently.

“All of us are sitting around a table, and we’re all friends,” he said. “It’s time for dessert, and everybody gets pie except for me and you. And you say, ‘I didn’t get any pie.’ Everybody at the table looks at you and says ‘I know. All pie matters.’ You say, ‘but I don’t have any pie! What about my pie?'”

Beck’s point was that white Americans simply did not understand what black people had been saying about police in America.

The “leaders” of the movement, he said, were “communists and anti-capitalists” whom he could never agree with. “But they’re not the people walking behind them in the street,” he said. “We’re all speaking different languages and we need to talk to each other.”

Is it possible that this man was ACTUALLY able to get such a simple concept through his impossibly thick skull?? We guess at some point even the loudest, rowdiest bigots have to see common sense from time to time…

Audit Finds California’s Gang Database Includes Babies

An audit of CA’s CalGang database recently found that at least 42 people on its list are babies under age one…and several of them have issued confessions of their affiliations.

Besides the fact that at least a portion of the information entered is completely erroneous — we aren’t sure what a 1-year-old could be an asset to a gang — it’s problematic because most people aren’t even aware that they or their child is listed on the database, nor do they have any legal right to find out. Via Gawker:

An audit of California’s state gang database, CalGang, found 42 individuals in the database who were less than one year old at the time of of entry, 28 of whom are further classified as, “admitting to being gang members,” Voice of San Diego reports. A human baby typically utters its first word at around nine months of age.

It is not yet known whether some or all of these entries might be for adults whose ages were recorded incorrectly.

The findings of the audit, which was requested by the state Legislature and prompted by San Diego Assemblywoman Shirley Webster, were published on Thursday.

The audit also found that many parents are not being notified when their children are entered into the database, despite a 2013 law requiring they do so.

The audit affirms that some people remain in the database long after they should have been removed and that many are entered into the database without a substantial reason, according to VOSD.

Weber was not surprised by the finding, telling VOSD, “I’ve heard these complaints for years. As most folks know, my own son was threatened to be put on the gang list, and he hand’t done anything. I hear these things from parents on a regular basis. But I think some of my colleagues were shocked.”

So…they just throw any and everyone on this list as they feel like it, and don’t even verify the information on each person? SMH.
