Wale Confirms He’s A Dad!

We broke the news this week that rapper Wale’s  girlfriend Chloe Alexis was in labor and now that the precious bundle is here, the proud dad is relishing in patriarchal bliss. The papa took to Instagram to address his new-found joy and also let us know her name.

Why would Janelle post a photo of Rasheeda and caption it “Me…”. This some kinda catfish?

We never really noticed a striking resemblance between the two women, but Janelle’s comments were teeming with people who think they are damn near twins.

Few minutes later, Rasheeda followed her doppelganger’s lead and posted this photo of Janelle.

Donald Trump Once Pretended To Be His Own Publicist

We all know Donald Trump is an image-obsessed nut job with a warped perception of the public’s intelligence…but did you know that back in the 90’s he took it so far as to pretend to be his own publicist and feed lies to the media about being a ladies’ man and a big time playboy with the stars??

Donald Trump has spent decades creating and polishing his public image, and to maintain it he will distort information, contradict himself and block inquiries into his conduct, true wealth, business dealings – and even his relationships with women.

It was such strategies that led to him lying on US television when, earlier this year, he was on the verge of becoming the Republican nominee for the US Presidency. And the subject in question? The impression he created that the world’s most desirable women were beating a path to his bedroom door…

The saga had started in late June 1991 with the news that Trump had just dumped his long-time girlfriend, Marla Maples, and had taken up with Italian model and singer Carla Bruni. It made newspaper headlines in America and even featured on NBC’s Today Show.

That major news organisations would report on the romances of a property developer is testimony to his success in creating public interest in his life – or at least those aspects he wants covered: Trump The Modern Midas and Trump The Great Don Juan.

Sue Carswell, a reporter for People magazine, called his holding company, the Trump Organisation, asking for an interview with the great man. Minutes later she was called back and turned on her tape recorder. The speaker identified himself as John Miller, and said he had just been hired to handle Trump’s public relations because The Donald was too busy to return calls himself, given ‘the important, beautiful women who call him all the time’.

He listed Madonna, actress Kim Basinger and Carla Bruni. For a freshly hired Trump publicist, Miller seemed exceptionally well-informed.

Carswell knew almost immediately Miller was Trump. But before writing her account, she played her recording to the gossip columnist Cindy Adams.

‘That’s Donald,’ Adams said.

SMH. And how dumb does he think people are? We wonder what kind of voice he spoke in to try to act like his own publicist…

If a man will lie (miserably, might we add) on his peen like that, what is to stop him from lying on the entire nation???

Angie Stone Says Her Female Rap Group Was Never A One-Hit Wonder

We recently reported that = R&B singer Angie Stone was part of one the first female rap groups back in the 1970s. Well, apparently neither did VH1 according to AJC reports:

The group isn’t as well known as other early hip-hop artists such as Sugarhill Gang, Kurtis Blow and Doug E Fresh. VH1, in its press release, cited Salt-n-Pepa, who didn’t form until 1985, as the first true female hip-hop group. Salt-n-Pepa is being honored Monday, along with Lil Kim, Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah, all bonafide stars in the hip-hop world.

In her press release, she expressed “outrage, hurt and disappointment” that they were “snubbed once again.”

Although they made no fuss of previous shows, trusting and believing that their time would come; this time the trio Angie B., Blondy Chisolm, and Cheryl “The Pearl” Cook feels undermined and disrespected and want their voice to be heard.

“They’re honoring “female” Hip Hop legends” said Stone. “We definitely should have been included in the celebration this year for sure!”

Guess who is STILL mad according to TMZ:

Angie Stone thinks VH1 was flat out wrong for leaving “The Sequence” out of its ceremony celebrating women in hip-hop … saying her group helped pave the way for countless others.

Stone was out in Atlanta this week with Ed Lover and she let it all out … saying her 80’s girl rap group was anything but a one hit wonder. It’s interesting … Angie says she was at the ceremony in the audience and still got the snub.

WNBA Rescinds Fines For Players Participating In #BlackLivesMatter Protest

Remember when we told you about the WNBA players who were fined for protesting recent police shootings by wearing all black warmups in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement???
Well the WNBA has changed its mine and the players and their teams will no longer be fined for expressing their freedom of speech.
NBC News reports:

The Women’s National Basketball Association said it is rescinding fines imposed on players who violated league uniform rules in expressing support for the “black lives matter” movement.

WNBA President Lisa Borders made the announcement Saturday, following fines imposed on teams and players and criticism from some players.

Appreciate our players expressing themselves on matters important to them. Rescinding imposed fines to show them even more support.

The Indiana Fever, New York Liberty and Phoenix Mercury were fined $5,000 each, and each player was fined $500 for wearing black T-shirts during pre-game warm-ups in the wake of recent shootings by and against police officers.

Ciara Claims Future’s Tweets Cost Her A $500K Sponsorship Deal

Ciara claims her baby daddy Future screwed her out of thousands according to TMZ reports:

Ciara says her baby daddy’s barrage of tweets and interviews disparaging her scared away an international cosmetics company she thinks would have paid her $500k … this according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

You’ll recall … Ciara slapped Future with a defamation lawsuit back in February after he blasted her on social media with tweets like, “This bitch got control problems … I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future … the f***ery for 15k a month.”

Ciara says all that trash talk has undermined her “positive reputation” and sullied her as “controlling, dishonest, malicious, unreasonable, evil, conniving” and bad parent which made the cosmetic co. run for the hills.

Miami Police Commander Charged In Charles Kinsey Shooting

Remember when we told you that the officer who shot unarmed Charles Kinsey was identified as Officer Jonathan Aledda?

Well there’s a SECOND officer who’s been arrested for their involvement in the shooting.

Commander Emile Hollant is accused of fabricating information (presumably in support of his buddy) who “accidentally” shot the unarmed therapist while “protecting him” from his autistic patient.

NBC Miami reports:

A North Miami police commander has been suspended for allegedly fabricating information about the shooting of an unarmed black therapist.

City Manager Larry Spring Jr. said Friday that commander Emile Hollant is suspended without pay.

Spring declined to give specifics about how Hollant allegedly fabricated information about Monday’s shooting of Charles Kinsey by Officer Jonathan Aledda.

“He totally violated his trust from the public to protect and serve by giving misinformation to this department,” North Miami Councilman Scott Galvin said at Friday’s news conference. ”

He not only jeopardized Mr. Kinsey’s life and the life of his client but he jeopardized the life of every police officer who serves this city.”

Hilton Napoleon, Kinsey’s attorney, said he was disturbed by Friday’s development.

“The fact that they were trying to cover this up initially is a huge problem,” Napoleon said.
Aledda has been placed on paid administrative leave while the shooting is investigated.

He is a four-year veteran and a member of the city’s SWAT team.

SMFH…this is some bullisht but not surprising.

Man Lives Under False Identity For Two Decades

A Florida man — we guess? — was so desperate to get away from his ex wife that he assumed a new identity. The biggest issue is, the man he decided to become died a tragic death 25 years ago…and he started an entire new family under his name.

A Florida mother and son have learned that the man they knew as a beloved husband and father had lied to them all along.

Richard Hoagland, 63, was arrested in the Tampa Bay area Wednesday for stealing and assuming the identity of Terry Jude Symansky, a man who drowned in 1991 at 33 years old, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Under his new identity, Hoagland met and married Mary Hickman nearly 20 years ago. The pair, who share a son, lived together in Zephyrhills, Fla., where Hoagland worked, invested in real estate and even obtained a pilot’s license, according to the newspaper.

But in April, the real Terry Symansky’s nephew learned through Ancestry.com that someone had assumed his uncle’s identity, and brought it to the attention of the police.

When Hickman was notified, she discovered documents in her home proving her husband was not who she thought he was.

Hoagland, who had two different wives and four children in Indiana, disappeared from his home and was eventually declared dead in 2003.

When he was taken into custody, Hoagland told officers he assumed the identity to get away from his wife, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Crazy! But the ex-wife’s statement on the matter gives some clue as to why he went to such dramatic extremes to get as far away from her as possible…

Hoagland’s ex-wife in Indiana however, informed police her husband said he “had to disappear because he had stolen millions and was wanted by the FBI,” the newspaper reported.

Law officials are currently investigating the claim, but records obtained by the Times show that Hoagland has never been arrested.

Sounds like she’s a big time liar and so is he. They might have been great together before he pulled shenanigans to escape her.

Tammy Rivera And Waka Flocka Talk Their Reconciliation

After reconciling despite infidelity in their marriage, Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka stopped by “The Breakfast Club” to discuss their rekindled relationship.

As previously reported Tammy left Waka for cheating on her and he publicly begged her to come back.

Now after his pleading apparently worked, Tammy and Waka told Charlamagne, Envy and Angela Yee about the status of their coupledom.

Waka on cheating on Tammy:

“Ain’t no thinking, it’s f****d up.”

Tammy on catching Waka cheating:

“The stuff he got caught with wasn’t even in the public,” said Tammy. “Those girls [on Instagram trying to expose him] are really faking. The whole Chief Keef’s baby mother is fake.”

Waka on women telling Tammy to leave him:

“They’re all lonely. Most of ’em got self esteem problems, so they leaning on Tammy. Nobody liked my wife before we broke up. Now it’s like a main topic like you a star now. ‘Oh my God, she’s a star.’ Now she’s a star because we broke up?! We’d been broke up months before anybody even known.”

Waka on growing up:

Waka on publicly pleading for Tammy to take him back:

Tammy also said that THIS is the moment she decided to answer his phone calls…

and her 11-year-old daughter influenced her decision to take him back:

“I keep it all the way real. She said ‘mommy just forgive him’ and [I told her] as a woman there’s certain things you demand from a man in a relationship and there’s certain things you allow. If you allow somene to keep doing it they’re gonna walk all over you, I don’t want you to think that it’s okay for a man to do certain things. […] It got to a point where she was like ‘you always forgive him, just forgive him.'”

Damn, looks like Tammy took back Waka for the sake of their family. Sound familiar???

She also responded to rumors that she’s currently toting a gut full of her cheating hubby.

New Video: ELHAE – “Needs”

ELHAE (pronounced like LA) is currently on a nationwide tour with BJ the Chicago Kid, poised to take over the R&B scene with his latest release, All Have Fallen, which you can preview HERE. We caught up with Elhae to talk more about the single and his project, and find out what’s next for the crooner:

Tell us more about “Needs:”

It was actually the last song to go on the project, the last one recorded…yet it ended up being one of the most popular tracks on the project. It’s pretty self-explanatory — everyone has needs and I’m expressing mine in a woman and being transparent and upfront about that. With the video, we decided to do something different and play off of that cross between reality and fantasy. You can’t quite tell what’s real and what’s the fantasy of what I want

So for those unfamiliar with you, where did your name come from?

I started that in high school. At the time I was rapping and was writng a rap down in class and I wrote Every Life Has An Ending – it just jumped out. Of course, I went through a plethora of crappy names we won’t get into after that [laughs]. But it started out temporary originally and it eventually just stuck.

Tell us more about your latest project, All Have Fallen:

This is basically ending a trilogy that I started back in 2014 with a released called Her. It was about my ex-girlfriend — she broke up with me — and dealt with my confusion about the whole thing and not seeing signs of it ending. That’s when people began to recognize how personal and transparent my music is. Next was Aura, and I approached that how you approach a friend updating them on how you are after the breakup. Basically saying “I made it out.”

All Have Fallen closes that chapter of my life out. Now, I’m thankful for where I’m at, I’ve signed with Atlantic, and the music at this point is more about me and and the women I have dealt with after Her — it’s focused on the current as opposed to the past.

So now that you’re over your relationship drama, what’s next for your sound?

Well, I’ve gained a fan base that recognizes me for a certain sound and concept behind the music. I definitely like to push the boundaries, but I’me not the artist that will come out of left field with something new and unrecognizeable. I plan to keep it centered around relationships and women. Don’t want to stray from that, and can’t wait to work on new things.

The most recent song we want to share is called “The Lion’s Awakening” and it comes to us via Joy Conaway and JK Howells.
