Lee Daniels recently blasted his bestie Mariah Carey for tricking him into appearing on her new reality show. The director says the show might not be the best idea for the “fragile” singer according to Page Six reports:
“That b—,” he fumed about his close friend. “She says, ‘Come over!’ … I show up to this room at a Kosher steakhouse somewhere on Wall Street, and the cameras are in my face and recording our conversation! And she says, ‘Dahling, dahling, dahling, sign [the release form], sign it, sign it, we’re doing a little documentary.’
“The next day, I’m reading … that she has a f—ing reality show, and I’m terrified about it. I don’t know if it’s a wise idea for her. I was at the gym, I saw it, and I was like, ‘Oh, Lord. What is she doing?’ I think it’s bigger than her. I think it’s not a good idea. I think that the true geniuses have to be saved from themselves sometimes. But I have no problem telling her, ‘What are you doing?’ and she listens, too.”
“She is very fragile, and she has been through a lot. She has been used, she has been abused … Some people don’t have that Teflon sort of thing that I do, so she masks it with this coquettish thing that is hiding her nervousness and her pain and her own family’s abuse to her,” Daniels said. “She is misunderstood, because she is really, really ride or die. She really, really, really will do anything for you.”

Controversy is brewing around Kay Jewelers after several women claim that the stones in their engagement rings are knock-offs.
Several customers of Kay Jewelers are accusing various stores of swapping out valuable stones with knock-offs.
According to a BuzzFeed report, one customer is Chrissy Clarius. She said she routinely took her $4,300 engagement ring to Kay Jewelers every six months to get it inspected as part of a guarantee policy.
But after taking it in this past February, the store couldn’t find her diamond’s certification number.
She had the stone tested, and learned it was moissanite and not a diamond.
Buzzfeed says they found several other customers with similar claims.
For example, Hannah LaFlam, of Vermont, claims she took her $4,500 ring to Kay’s for the same inspections. Recently, when she picked her ring up from a sizing, she realized something was off.
After being told by Kay’s that it was her diamond, another store confirmed that it did not match the proper diamond certification number.
She said the original Kay’s store then admitted the mistake and located her diamond in New Hampshire.
A Facebook page — Boycott Kay Jewelers — has been created where customers make several complaints, including that their rings or stones were swapped out.
Kay Jewelers has since released statement to CBS News on the controversy.
The chain has “rigorous processes in place to help ensure this won’t happen. When a guest brings their jewelry in for repair or service, it is diamond tested before it is sent out and when it is returned…With that being said, we are actively reviewing this issue, as we do all customer concerns brought to our attention, as part of our commitment to customer care and continuous improvement.”

Gucci Mane may have gotten out of prison, but he’s still in trouble.
The “Trap House” rapper, 36, owes thousands to creditors for a concert no show, BOSSIP has learned.
Gucci – real name Radric Davis – was released Thursday from federal prison after serving time for felony gun possession. But he now faces a property lien for nearly $73,000, and if he doesn’t pay up, his creditors could seize his homes and other assets.
In 2013, Firetone International and The Manor nightclub hit Gucci with a $72,928 lien to collect a judgment after company officials successfully sued the rapper for not turning up for a performance at the Athens, Ga. nightclub.
Marcus Boenig, the lawyer for The Manor and Firetone International, said he hoped that now that Gucci was out, he’d make good on his debt.
“It’s the honorable thing to do,” he told BOSSIP. “It’s unfortunate that individuals make agreements with Mr. Davis and he doesn’t keep his word.”
We’ve reached out to Gucci’s lawyer Drew Findling, for comment.

A homeowner caught three 14-year-olds burglarizing his Coos Bay house on Sunday afternoon, and forced one of the boys to call 9-1-1 to report the attempted theft.
The three boys were all taken to the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Facility on several charges including burglary II, criminal trespassing, and marijuana possession.
The homeowner was armed when he found the boys burglarizing his home on Terramar Road, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office said. According to emergency dispatchers, he told one of the teens to call police and report the burglary in progress.
One of the suspects was supposed to be babysitting his 8-year-old step-sister. She was taken to her parent’s house.
This is gonna make one helluva story to tell…
