Vanessa Hudgens thought it would be cute to carve her and her boyfriends name in a rock at a national park and post it on social media, but her actions back-fired! Vanessa’s fans snitched on her!!
After visiting the national park in Northern Arizona back in February, the High School Musical actress posted a photo of her name with her boy friend’s name in a heart, carved into the rock wall. Comments came pouring in from people who noted that what she was doing was illegal. She deleted the photo but national park employees still contacted the actress who admitted to defacing park property. As a result, Vanessa paid $1,000 this week to the park in restitution according to Page Six.
Why would they snitch on the poor girl like that???
The History Channel’s ‘Roots’ remake airs May 30th, however, one person you can be sure won’t be running to the tube is original ‘Roots’ actor John Amos.
Grown Toby said Hollywood isn’t just creatively bankrupt for remaking such a classic, but that nobody’s checking for the new version because it’s a different time.
Here’s what he told Huffington Post:
“I guess it will be contingent upon how well it’s done, but I don’t think it’s gonna have the same impact for a number of reasons,” he said. “One, the circumstances that ‘Roots’ was originally shown under was totally different circumstances than today. Today there seems to be tremendously more programming that has black subject matter and black characters, both on the screen and behind the scenes, than it existed with the development of the original. So much time has passed. I think there’s a great deal of apathy about the subject matter. I don’t think people are quite as interested. We had so many things going for us that made it such a unique and popular experience. One, the subject matter never [had] been delved into before. Two, it was derived from an international best seller… so there were a number of things that led ‘Roots’ to being the incredibly popular program it was.”
The 76-year-old actor went on to add that The History Channel’s decision to remake the hit series is “further evidence, for the most part, that Hollywood is creatively bankrupt. They have to keep going back to what’s been done and what’s successful because they’re pretty much out of fresh ideas.”

According to information provided to The New York Times by Tidal, the release of Queen Bey’s album increased Tidal subscribers by a whopping 1.2 million in the first week. Weeks after its release, Lemonade is still the only legal way to stream the album. According to the company, run by her hubby Jay-Z, Lemonade has been streamed over 306 million times since its’ release and the numbers are still growing. Roughly 75 percent of those streams came from inside the United States, despite the fact that Tidal is available in 46 countries. Bey currently has 5 songs in the Billboard Top 40.

Black-ish and The Carmichael show have been consistent gunners on network TV and now Marlon Wayan’s wants parts. NBC ordered his new family sit-com to their network. The show is produced by the Wayan’s Brothers and stars Marlon Wayan’s and Essence Atkins. The cast already seems funny!

Loosely inspired by the real life of star Marlon Wayans, this update to the classic family comedy centers on a loving (but immature) father committed to co-parenting his two kids with his very-together ex-wife. While his misguided fatherly advice, unstoppable larger-than-life personality and unpredictable Internet superstardom might get in the way sometimes, for Marlon family really always does come first — even if he’s the biggest kid of all.
The cast includes Marlon Wayans, Essence Atkins, Notlim Taylor, Amir O’Neil, Bresha Webb and Diallo Riddle
Christopher Moynihan serves as writer and executive producer. Marlon Wayans, Rick Alvarez, Michael Rotenberg and director Andy Ackerman (pilot) also executive produce. “Marlon” is produced by Universal Television, Wayans Brothers Entertainment, Bicycle Path Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment.

A woman was charged with stealing 1,500 mini-bottles of liquor from her job and selling them online. The bottles ran for $8 on flights, but the woman was practically giving them away for a buck!
The Shelby County district attorney’s office said Friday that 28-year-old Rachel Trevor has been indicted on charges including theft, unlawful sale of alcohol and unauthorized transportation of alcohol.
Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission investigators say Trevor would put the small bottles of rum, vodka, gin and whiskey in her bag after a flight, then post them for sale on Craigslist.
Investigators said the bottles typically sell for $8 on flights, but Trevor sold them for $1 apiece. Endeavor Air is a regional affiliate of Delta Air Lines.
Obviously, she was fired.

Just last month in Kaur of Amritsar City, India a 72-year-old woman named Daljinder Kaur gave birth to a healthy baby boy. After 46 years of marriage Daljinder says she and her husband finally decided to try for a child with help of in-virto fertilization since she was 20-years post menopause. According to The Huffington Post, the pair had put off having children due to a long going family feud however they explained that not having children was a very lonely feeling. The elderly couple paid nearly $15,000 to begin the treatments to conceive a baby of their own rather than adopting a child in need. Daljinder explained that she will be breastfeeding as long as she can and that she does not feel she is too old for parenthood.

Football player and father Devon Still is sharing the photos from his elaborate wedding to his longtime love.
As previously reported Devon and Asha Joyce tied the knot this weekend courtesy of TheKnot.com while Devon’s sweet and now cancer free daughter Leah looked on.
People Magazine reports:
Houston Texans defensive end Devon Still wed longtime fiancée Asha Joyce in a gorgeous Manhattan wedding on Friday.
Joyce had three outfit changes throughout the night and Devon’s NFL groomsmen couldn’t stop giving him fist bumps – but it was Leah Still, Devon’s 6-year-old daughter, who stole the show.
Leah, who wore a custom-designed pink flower girl gown, couldn’t hold back tears as she watched her dad and her now-stepmom exchange vows.
“I love my new family,” she said wiping away tears at the reception after.
“Thank you for all your support,” she added.
Devon, 26, and Asha, 26, put their marriage plans on hold two years ago when Leah was diagnosed with life-threatening stage 4 neuroblastoma.
When Devon shared the news that Leah was cancer free in March 2015, the couple decided to pick up wedding planning where they had left off.
So sweet!
Devon and Asha are now celebrating their union with beautiful photos from their wedding via their #StillInLove hashtag…
and they look happier than ever.

Keli Knight, Yondi Morris, and Jessica Reddick are proof that you should never underestimate the power of social media.
After sending out one simple tweet about the frustration she was facing at her current law firm, Morris connected with Knight on the idea of starting their own firm. Shortly thereafter, the two young lawyers sat down with their mutual friend Reddick to further discuss the idea, and a year later in 2012, KMR Law Group was launched.
Now, with nearly four years under their belt as the leaders of their own firm, Knight, Morris and Reddick have expanded their practice to include commercial and residential real estate transactions, corporate law, entertainment law and mediation. With locations in Chicago, Los Angeles and soon-to-be D.C., it’s clear that these three lawyers have long-term plans for changing the landscape of the industry.

Comedian Luenell is admittedly salty about NeNe Leakes stepping into her lane and pursuing comedy.
The funny woman took to IG this weekend to blast NeNe over her sold out one woman comedy show while ranting about reality stars becoming comics.
“I just find it ironic that these days it seems like any reality show celebrity or celebrity of any type who wants to call themselves a comic can,” said Luenell. “I hope my sister here has a great weekend and a successful run….that is until she gets bored or tired.”
