San Francisco Public Defender Reveals More Racist Texts From Police Department

Just two weeks after racist cop Jason Lai stepped down from his position after being exposed as a racist, a local public defender held a news conference revealing even more texts from three other cops.

If this investigation digs much deeper, San Francisco is gonna need a whole lot of new cops. SMH.

According to the Los Angeles Times:

Newly disclosed text messages in which a trio of San Francisco Police Department officers referred to minorities as “barbarians,” “cockroaches” and other slurs should trigger an even larger review of past criminal cases for signs of racial bias, according to the city’s public defender.

At a Tuesday news conference, San Francisco Public Defender Jeff Adachi revealed details of text messages traded among three former San Francisco officers that used the N-word to refer to black people, “rag heads” to refer to people of Middle Eastern descent and “beaners” to refer to Latinos.

The messages were discovered during a recent internal affairs investigation and add to a growing list of racist emails and texts traded among department officers. Already, the racist communications have resulted in the dismissal of 13 pending criminal cases.

“When we’re talking about bias policing and racial profiling, there is a direct connection to these associations being made by officers,” Adachi said. “That’s the kind of mentality that tells you it’s OK to shoot, OK to kill, OK to arrest” people of color.

The department said the latest texts were uncovered during a department investigation into allegations that an officer had committed a sexual assault while off-duty. The officer, Jason Lai, has been charged with misdemeanor counts of unlawful access and use of criminal and motor vehicle databases.

Police Chief Greg Suhr said the three officers mentioned at Tuesday’s news conference have left the department. A fourth officer is also facing discipline, officials said.

What a time to be alive! It’s great that something is FINALLY being done to root out racism among law enforcement in the U.S. Does it surprise you that these cops were so stupid as to leave text message trails that could implicate them?

Matt McGorry Responds To Iggy Azalea’s “Becky” Comments

In case you didn’t already know Matt McGorry, the actor who plays Asher Millstone on ABC’s hit “How To Get Away With Murder”, is a woke white man who often eloquently breaks down black struggles for his peers.

Most recently Matt clapped back at Iggy Azalea who said she felt the term “Becky” as used in Beyonce’s “Lemonade” was racist. According to Matt however there’s no way that could possibly be true because reverse racism doesn’t exist.
TMZ reports:

“I think there’ no reverse racism. I think it’s not a real thing,” McGorry said. “I think that what seems like a lighthearted joke goes one way and is not necessarily lighthearted the other way.”

He continued, “I think Black women are stereotyped in such broad, sweeping strokes to begin with and that affects their lives on a daily basis. White people, white women aren’t as subjected to that when it comes to the race issues. Women in general? Sure. But just as there’s no such thing as reverse sexism, white people’s lives are not, ultimately, terribly affected other than their feelings hurt from being called a racist.”

Master P Accuses Ex Sonya Miller Of Stripper Aspirations

Master P and his ex-wife Sonya have been engaged in a heated back and forth over money since their divorce proceedings began. With things STILL dragging on between the two, Master P is now telling the judge that his wife is so hungry for cash that she’s already told her kids that she’s planning to parade her over-40, mother-of-7 body on a pole for extra money flow…

Master P’s got his own set of 99 problems and wants the judge to know about ALL of them — including his sick attorney, his freeloading ex and her plans to start stripping.

P’s divorce war with Sonya Miller is still dragging on, and he recently filed a laundry list of excuses for missing a recent hearing. In the docs, Master P includes an email from his attorney’s office informing him his lawyer was laid up in a hospital with an unspecified “medical emergency.”

He’s also dealing with his wife’s landlord, who says Sonya jacked some furniture when she bolted out of the house. Master P’s stuck in the middle because he’s footing the bill, but he agrees with the landlord that Sonya’s “actions are irresponsible, disrespectful and unacceptable.”

And then there’s Sonya’s potential new job. In the handwritten docs Master P says, “My ex needs help, she told the kids she want to be a stripper.”

It’s unclear if the judge bought any of this, but it’s more entertaining than the dog eating his homework.

Hmmm…this sounds a little made up. After all, why hit the stripper stage when she’s banking on snatching HIS cash??

Half Of Americans Think Elections Are Fixed

The way this election is going has a lot of people shook…but as it turns out, the average American isn’t shocked that it looks like things are spinning out of control. Most people actually think that things are predetermined anyway…

More than half of American voters believe that the system U.S. political parties use to pick their candidates for the White House is ‘rigged’ and more than two-thirds want to see the process changed, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

The results echo complaints from Republican front-runner Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Bernie Sanders that the system is stacked against them in favor of candidates with close ties to their parties – a critique that has triggered a nationwide debate over whether the process is fair.

The United States is one of just a handful of countries that gives regular voters any say in who should make it onto the presidential ballot.

But the state-by-state system of primaries, caucuses and conventions is complex. Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, said the U.S. presidential nominating system could probably be improved in a number of areas, but noted that the control wielded by party leadership usually became an issue only during tight races.

‘The popular vote overwhelms the rules usually, but in these close elections, everyone pays attention to these arcane rules,’ he said. Some 51 percent of likely voters who responded to the April 21-26 online survey said they believed the primary system was ‘rigged’ against some candidates.

Some 71 percent of respondents said they would prefer to pick their party’s nominee with a direct vote, cutting out the use of delegates as intermediaries. The results also showed 27 percent of likely voters did not understand how the primary process works and 44 percent did not understand why delegates were involved in the first place. The responses were about the same for Republicans and Democrats.

Malik Yusuf Dispels Kanye Mental Health Rumors

In a video released earlier this week, it sounded a lot like Malik was taking credit for TLOP and dry-snitching on ‘Ye’s clinically unstable mental state. But today, he’s clearing up the confusion and letting everyone know how much he respects Kanye and explaining exactly how his words were taken out of context…

I understand that some media (not all) will embellish a story in order to create sensationalism and I’m not against that. However, I am against lies, especially when they are used to intentionally hurt, demoralize, discredit character, and intentionally mislead the general public for the purpose of selling a story.

I was quoted as saying that I wrote the entire “Life of Pablo” LP and that’s completely false. When asked about my contribution to the project, I simply stated that I contributed to every song, not that I wrote every song.

For the record, Kanye West has never been medically diagnosed as being bipolar or schizophrenic. I wouldn’t change who Kanye is as a person and because people are always making disparaging comments about his behavior, I was simply stating that regardless of what anyone says (including medical professionals), is that Kanye is fine just the way he is and doesn’t need medication. He also doesn’t need to change a single thing about himself. Staying true to his character is what gives him the priceless ability to create art.

I choose to embrace Kanye for who he is, not for a watered down version of him that people would be most comfortable around.

The G.O.O.D. Music and West family is strong and tight. We build, uplift, and protect one another. At no point will we ever tear down, destroy, or attack one another.

Interesting. Well, it’s good to see that Yeezy’s homeboy isn’t flipping on him…because it definitely sounded off at the time.

Nick Gordon Reveals Bobbi Kristina’s Miscarriages

While giving his own personal account of the events leading up to Bobbi Kristina’s tragic drowning to The Daily Mail, Nick Gordon revealed a troubled past with addiction and depression, and dropped the bomb that Bobbi had already lost two children of her own prior to her untimely death. But before that, he dropped an even more eerie bombshell that Bobbi Kristina had a similar substance-induced drowning run-in…just 24 hours before her mother died the exact same way.

He even revealed that she nearly drowned in the bathtub once before when she fell into a drunken sleep with the water still running.

He says: ‘It was in the Beverly Hills Hilton and the water overflowed out into the hallway. Whitney found her, pulled her out and slept in her bed that night.’

Chillingly, he says, Whitney died in the same way the very next night.

And her mother’s death sent her spiraling into a deep hole of depression, self harm, and hard drug use:

He tells Daily Mail Online: ‘After her mom had passed she would use drugs to numb the pain she was feeling.’
‘She started taking pain pills and Xanax and self-harming. You could see the scars on her arms,’ he says.

Gordon says: ‘The drug use was becoming more and more and we were already using a lot. People started suggesting rehab but she was resistant, addicts are always resistant. She was mixing drugs.

According to Gordon, Bobbi Kristina hadn’t cut herself for ‘about eight months’ before she was found in the bathtub.
But she was often depressed. He reveals: ‘We had a couple of miscarriages. We would have loved to have a kid but we weren’t planning on it yet and she was just such a young fragile person it took a toll on her.’

But he rejects any suggestion that Bobbi Kristina might have intended to take her own life with an overdose.

He says: ‘We wanted to get clean, settle down, get married, have kids.’

SMH. We know he feels as though he has his name to clear in all this, but you would think if he loves her so much he’d let her rest in peace and not air out all her demons in the media this way…

Cam Newton Explains Why He Was Such A Spoiled Brat At Super Bowl Press Conference

Cam Newton suffered as much backlash for his Super Bowl loss as he did for the way he handled the loss.

His childish post-game press conference was largely ridiculed because he spent a vast majority of the NFL season stuntin’ on the opposition. Some felt if he was going to dab his way to the big game, that she should put on his big boy pants and be gracious in defeat.

In the new issue of Ebony, Cam addressed this criticism and

“The truth is, I represent something way bigger than myself,” Newton told the magazine. “I’m doing it for [my fans and family] and I felt like I let them down.”

Newton told the magazine that he simply hadn’t had time to process the loss when he was asked to take the podium. He also had to deal with being able to hear Denver players discussing the victory on the other side of a curtain in the same room.

“Who is anyone to tell me, ‘Man, it’s just an interview’?” Newton asked. “You haven’t been in that situation. You didn’t have millions of people watching you. Your heart wasn’t pumping [with] the embarrassment or the anxiety of the stress of dealing with that type of game.

“I just wasn’t ready to talk. Was I mad? Hell, yeah! But there could have been a better way to control it, and that’s why I think having more time would have helped.”

Amy Inita Joyner-Francis’ Family Warns Of Scams

The Delaware high schooler who was beaten to death in a bathroom brawl allegedly over a boy, is now being exploited in online scams.

The family of 16-year-old Amy Inita Joyner-Francis says that GoFundMe pages have been popping up in the teen’s honor unfortunately courtesy of greedy scammers looking for cash.

The New York Daily News reports:

The family of a Delaware teenager killed in her high school bathroom has a message for those looking to help her loved ones: Don’t fall victim to Internet “scams.”

Amy Inita Joyner-Francis, just 16, died last week after she was attacked in the restroom at Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington. Authorities say three classmates have been identified as persons of interest and charges may be coming soon.

As the family grieves and hopes for justice, they are imploring people to stay away from online fundraising pages — because they are fake.

“We are seeing many sick people out in the world who want to gain money and social fame off my family’s loss of Amy,” her brother Anthony Joyner wrote in a statement released through the Wilmington Police Department. “We want everyone who is truly concerned for us not to fall victim to the scams going on out around the Internet.”

Anthony Joyner also said that he is the only one in the family that is on social media, and that Amy does not have a sister, as someone is falsely claiming to be.

“We have not set up and will not set up any fundraisers or go fund me accounts, they are fake pages and accounts are spreading hateful lies, so please do not lose your money or entertain the lies of these cruel people,” he wrote in the statement.

If anyone wants to help the family, donations can be made in Amy’s name to the Congo Funeral Home in Wilmington.
