The Bachelor’s Ben Proposes To Lauren

On last night’s season finale of “The Bachelor” fans watched as Ben Higgins turned down JoJo and picked Lauren Bushnell to be his blushing bride. The romantic proposal also included a ring worth a whopping $95,000.
E! News reports:

Tonight’s finale left us with a lot of emotions and a new engagement, which means yet another ridiculously amazing sparkler on one lucky lady’s ring finger—and that woman was Lauren Bushnell.

This season’s bachelor Ben Higgins got down on one knee to pop the question to the blond beauty, and now we have all the juicy details on that enviable diamond. “The center stone is a square-cut diamond surrounded by a halo of tiny diamonds.

The total number of carats is 4.6. It’s set in platinum and was hand-crafted and designed by Neil Lane,” a source tells E! News.
As for the hefty price tag, the insider shares that, “The estimated price is $95,000.” YOWZA!
“It’s a vintage look that reflects Ben’s old-fashioned values.”

Texas Police Officer Recorded Pepper Spraying Bikers

Another day, another instance of cops abusing their power according to DFW.CBS

Police have opened an investigation into a Forth Worth police officer after someone caught him on video allegedly pepper spraying some passing bikers.

Officer W. Figueroa, a six year veteran was removed from uniformed patrol duties today, according to Cpl. Tracey Knight with the Fort Worth Police Department. He was placed in an administrative capacity pending the investigation. Figueroa documented the entire incident in a report as well as on two cameras – his body camera and the dash cam of the patrol car.

But the video, which began to show up on social media sites today and allegedly shows Figueroa, was taken from the perspective of a man on a motorcycle.

Chase Stone was one of about 20 other riders going south on 287 when they came upon Officer Figueroa who had pulled over a red pickup truck. As they passed, Stone said he was shocked when the officer grabbed his pepper spray from his belt and sprayed it toward him and other bikers. The video shows it all.

And they got the nerve to wonder why we don’t respect cops…

Kazuo Hirai, Sony President and CEO, stated, “This agreement further demonstrates Sony’s commitment to the entertainment businesses and our firm belief that these businesses will continue to contribute to our success for years to come.” Michael Jackson’s estate co-executors, John Branca and John McClain, further explained,”The transaction further allows us to continue our efforts of maximizing the value of Michael’s Estate for the benefit of his children.”

Extreme Weight Loss Contestant Rod Durham Found Dead At Age 52

According to DailyMail, a beloved reality TV star has gone home to glory…

A much beloved contestant on the popular reality show Extreme Weight Loss died at the weekend.

Rod Durham, 52, was found by housekeepers at his hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where the high school English teacher had been spending his spring break.

Durham’s cause of death is believed to be diabetic shock.

He became an inspiration for millions back in 2014 when he lost an impressive 180 pounds thanks to diet and exercise while competing on the Extreme Weight Loss show.

There is no doubt that his friends, family and co-workers will miss him greatly…

‘He was the perfect example of a teacher where you can’t describe their impact on students by test scores,’ said Leon High School principal Billy Epting in an interview with the school newspaper, The Leon High Life.

‘He had a personality and a character that was more than teaching drama or English in the classroom. Students could have a personal and professional relationship with him about life and being a good person.’

Teacher and close friend Rocky Hanna added: ‘There are a lot of broken hearts in our community today. People like Rod Durham come around once in a lifetime.

‘His smile, his heart, his demeanor… Even if you were having a bad day, being around [Durham] would make it better. His laugh was infectious. He was literally larger than life.’

R.I.P. to Rod Durham. Thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

LisaRaye Says She Got Stacey Dash Fired From “Single Ladies”

After denying for years that she was the driving force behind Stacey Dash’s departure from “Single Ladies”, LisaRaye is finally coming clean.

The actress is apparently spilling the beans in a promo clip for CentricTV’s “Being” series and it admitting that their issues with each other definitely played a part in Stacey’s firing.

“In Hollywood, I’ve learned to be a boss,” said LisaRaye. “I had to say to Stacey Dash, ‘If you don’t get your mother******* finger out of my face…’” she said, then continued, “So for our second season of Single Ladies, there was a replacement.”

LisaRaye told JET back in 2012 that while she and Stacey had beef, Stacey mainly had issues with a director on set…

“Yes, there was a disagreement over a scene. And it really wasn’t with me. It was with the director. I think it was about 2 or 3AM and we’d been shooting all damn day. Stacey tried to argue with the director about a line. And I’m like: “Girl, if you don’t say what the director wants you to say.” It wasn’t that serious at first, but it went there.

It’s a bunch of women on the set. We might all be on our damn period at any given point. I just wanted us to move forward. Then the argument took on a life of its own. The show decided to use it for publicity. They just ran with it.”

and she added in a Facebook post.

“As everyone knows I am in Italy vacationing. I was just made aware of the lies that are being spread by *********** and other blogs that like to create false stories. I was not even aware that Stacy Dash had been fired from Single Ladies. Furthermore if she has been fired that is a network decision. I don’t have the power to get her fired nor do I have any beef with her. Now im going to go continue enjoying my vacation!

DeCinque Twins Admit To Getting Same Plastic Surgery And Sharing A Boyfriend

We get it, twins tend to be closer than most other siblings, but everything has a limit and these chicks have clearly gone above and beyond according to Cosmopolitan…

Identical twins Anna and Lucy DeCinque, 30, appeared on a special episode of Australian talk show The Insight to discuss how identical they really are. They are so identical they actually share a boyfriend. It works, just hear them out!

“We’ve had separate boyfriends before, but they didn’t understand our closeness. Ben understands we want to be together all the time,” because he is a twin (albeit a fraternal one) as well. One of the twins — neither the show nor any site covering their appearance identified them by name because it’s too hard to tell who is who — said it’s Ben’s fellow twin-iness that makes him a good boyfriend to both of them: “He understands the twin thing and the very close bond we have with each other.” The three of them share a room at the twins’ mother’s house.

The twins told Perth Now that they are not yet thinking about pregnancy, but when one of them does become pregnant, “We would have to be exactly the same — even if we went through IVF at the same time,” because their bodies need to be exactly the same always.

Perth Now also reports that the women have spent nearly $250,000 on cosmetic surgeries over the past 10 years to ensure they look exactly alike.

After Kenya Moore shadily spread rumors that he’s a “zesty” undercover brother who goes by Chrissy, Kim Fields’ husband Christopher Morgan is clapping back.
On Chris’ Instagram a fan, @CJProduxions, called out Porsha Williams for feeding into the gay rumors and asked Chris if he would call her out like he did Kenya.

Chris then responded by noting that he’s a “proud, straight, married man” and wrote a lengthy rant about a “Thot” with a waist trainer and “fake eyes.”

Iowa Man Charged With Hate Crime On Black Man

Another day, another racist attack…

According to CBS 2/Fox 28 reports:

An Iowa City man is facing a hate crime charge after fighting a man because he was black.

Police responded to a call for a report of two men fighting on Sunday. The victim told police that 47-year-old Andy Benavidez called him racial slurs and hit him first, forcing him to defend himself. Police documents say that Benavidez told police he was wearing a surgical mask because he was “allergic to black people” and didn’t want to catch their germs.

Benavidez admitted to police that he only fought the victim because he was black. He is charged with Assault – Violation of Individual Rights, which is considered a hate crime.
