In an exclusive interview with DJ Vlad, the West Philly native explained their brief encounter, “She showed me a good time in Chicago. I showed her a good time back.” Although it was his first encounter with a transgendered woman, he says transgenders are the “best of both worlds.”

Gone Too Soon: Black Journalist Michael J. Feeney, 32, Dies After Sudden Illness
Journalist Michael Feeney Dies Unexpectedly
We are heartbroken at this news. Just recently, Michael J. Feeney was a talented freelancer who BOSSIP relied on several times to cover important trials in the NYC area. Today we learned that the former NY Daily News reporter had passed away Sunday after falling ill suddenly last week.
Some details via NY Daily News:
Michael J. Feeney, a former Daily News reporter who served as president of the New York Association of Black Journalists, died Sunday of complications from a staph infection in his kidneys. He was 32.
Feeney was set to begin his dream job as an entertainment reporter at CNN.com in Atlanta when he fell ill, his mother said.
“Mike did everything to help everyone,” his mother, Reba Willis, said Sunday. “He did whatever he could with any person who he came across who wanted to know anything about journalism and about life.”
Feeney had been in Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, N.J., since Tuesday, she said. He went into cardiac arrest at 1:15 p.m.
Feeney graduated from Delaware State University in 2005. He worked for The Associated Press and later The Record in New Jersey.
Feeney, a Teaneck native, joined The News in 2009. A year later, he was named the emerging journalist of the year by the National Association of Black journalists. In 2011, Feeney was elected to serve the organization as New York chapter president.
In addition to his mother, Feeney is survived by a sister, Maria Feeney; a twin brother, Anthony Feeney; a niece, and a nephew.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. Funeral arrangements are still pending but we ask that you please join us in donating to the Michael J. Feeney Memorial Fund

Rita Ora Sued By RocNation For $2.3 Million
Rita Ora better hope she makes a lot of money this year because she just might be on the hook for millions owed to Jay Z and RocNation according to TMZ.
Hov and his cohorts have filed a lawsuit claiming that they signed Rita in 2008 as a unknown artist and turned her into a semi-known international singer. Rita filed suit complaining that she had recorded her 2nd album but RocNation refused to release it.
The label claims they have already put down more than $2 million to market her crappy music and have filed suit to recoup what they’ve spent.
Rita’s lawyer says Jay Z has promised that she will be released from her contract, so all this legal ugliness might just be dropped.

Kim Fields Recaps Her Beef With Kenya Moore In Jamaica
After she got into a squabble with Kenya Moore, Kim Fields took to her Bravo blog to detail what happened that night in Jamaica.
According to Kim, Kevin Hart’s “Wanna Go Night-Night” skit from his standup played in her head as Ms. Moore rudely pulled out the chair she was sitting in.
Ultimately however she controlled herself and walked away from the drama because “her elevator doesn’t get that low.”
What was going through your mind during the argument with Kenya?
KF: Kim’s inner monologue at that moment: Kevin Hart’s bit about “going night-nigh”
Kenya recently told Andy Cohen on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” that she deeply regrets the moment and was “mortified” by her own behavior.
First of all, I watched that back and I was mortified. I think it was a big mistake for me to pull her chair. It was uncalled for. It was absolutely unacceptable and I do apologize for that behavior. I was in the moment. I was just fed up with the B.S. It’s something that happened but I’m really actually very ashamed of that.”
She did note however that they’re still not friends.
“I have a hard time sometimes remembering Kim is even on the show because I fall asleep. No [I would not do a project with her] unless I was forced to do so.”
So nasty and so rude.

Congratulations! Fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad Will
Fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad Will Be The First U.S. Olympian To Compete Wearing A Hijab
The 2016 Olympics will bear witness to history as fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad will become the first U.S. athlete to compete wearing a traditional muslim hijab over her head.
According to the HuffingtonPost, Ibtihaj won the bronze medal in the Women’s Sabre World Cup and earn the right to compete as a representative of the United States during the world games in Rio next year.
“When most people picture an Olympic fencer, they probably do not imagine a person like me. Fortunately, I am not most people,” the 30-year-old explains in her USA Fencing bio. “I have always believed that with hard work, dedication, and perseverance, I could one day walk with my U.S. teammates into Olympic history.”
“I want to compete in the Olympics for the United States to prove that nothing should hinder anyone from reaching their goals — not race, religion or gender. I want to set an example that anything is possible with perseverance.”
While fencing might not be something that most kids pick up as a hobby, Ibtihaj has been wielding a saber since she was 13 years old at her high school in New Jersey and subsequently took her talents to Duke University.
“After I graduated from college, I saw there was a lack of minorities in the sport,” Muhammad said in an interview with TeamUSA.org. “I recognized that I had a skill set, so I started to pursue fencing full time. I felt that it was something the squad needed. There were barriers that needed to be broken in women’s saber.”
We’d love to see Ibtihaj “accidentally” stab Donald Trump with one of her sabers.

So Sad: 26-Year-Old Fiancee Of Buffalo Bills Baller Tony Steward Loses Cancer Battle
Tony Steward’s Fiancee Brittany Burns Dies
The fiancee of a Buffalo Bills player has unfortunately lost her battle with cancer.
Brittany Burns, the 26-year-old wife-to-be of Tony Steward, passed away this morning after a bout with ovarian cancer.
The New York Daily News reports:
The 26-year old, who got engaged to Steward last year, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer on Dec. 9. She was treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Burns attended Clemson with Steward and was on the rowing team, according to Clemson sports website OrangeandWhite.com.
After her diagnosis, Burns and Steward created a Fight Like a Girl campaign to help raise money and awareness for others with ovarian cancer.
He was selected by Buffalo in the sixth round of the 2015 draft and played in seven games this season.
So sad, she was way too young.
