O’Shea Jackson Jr. Helps Revitalize Elementary Campus in South L.A While Discussing Straight Outta Compton’s Social Impact
O’Shea Jackson Jr. served the community for MLK Day last week when he joined CelebsWork – a cause related outlet designed to collaborate with celebrities and influencers to drive communities toward social change – for L.A. Works’ 11th Annual MLK Day of Service as one of the special guest speakers and volunteers.
Additional guest speakers to kick of the event included, MC/Writer/Actor, Roger G. Smith, NBA Hall of Famer, James Worthy, L.A. Public Works Commissioner, Mike Davis, L.A. Works Founder, Bob L. Johnson, Woodcrest Elementary Principal, Michael Pile, and George Washington Prep High School Principal Byrd.
With a powerful speech, the L.A. native commended over 1,300 volunteers at Woodcrest Elementary School for dedicating their day to revitalize the campus and encouraged them to continue to live a life of purpose in inspiring others.
Later, he sat with CelebsWork to discuss Straight Outta Compton’s social impact, the legacy he hopes to leave through his work, and the changes he would like to see in this world.
“Without being aware of the problem, how can there be a solution,” says O’Shea Jackson Jr.

During the “Real Housewives of Potomac” cast member Ashley Darby has fielded criticism from her costars for not only being “THOT-ish”, but for being married to a man 29 years her senior.
The 27-year-old Bravo star has since taken to her blog to clap back at her costars and haters who raise their eyebrows at her union.
Bravotv.com: What were you thinking when Gizelle was asking about you and your husband?
AD: My relationship with Michael is anything but traditional, so I’m not surprised that weaves shift when I talk about it. There’s a 29 year age difference, we hail from different continents, we’re different races, AND we have polar political views.
Patti Stanger would certainly never match us, but our common views on love and life create a strong underlying foundation in our marriage.
The icing on our heart-shaped cake is a shared passion for adventure. For our honeymoon, we trekked Mt. Kilimanjaro which tested our relationship in a whole new way. Don’t fret – the romance never died, we joined the (15) mile high club ;). With those endorphins, who needs Viagra?!
She also revealed how they met and said it was love at first sight. She also added that she pursued Michael, not the other way around.
Bravotv.com: How did you meet your husband?
AD: I met Michael when I was 22 and bartending at L2 in Georgetown. At the time, I was working at night, going to school during the day, and enjoying my youth 24/7. I was talking to my manager in the main office when I watched Michael walk in on the security camera. Sweet baby Cleatus! Even with a blurry, black and white picture, I was hooked. Love at first sight is real, y’all!
There was never any confusion about his age – I knew Michael wasn’t a young stallion, but he has this je ne sais quoi quality about him. When I (nervously) approached him I couldn’t say, “You should wife me up,” so I asked about a marketing internship at his company. After a few months, I gathered up the courage to ask him out for a real drink and that’s all she wrote! Moral of the story: trust your gut and go for what you want!

The cast of “The Celebrity Apprentice” has been revealed. This year the Arnold Schwarzenegger hosted cast will include Laila Ali, Porsha Williams, Snooki and Lisa Leslie.
Tyra Banks, Warren Buffett and Jessica Alba will also serve as advisors on the show.
Warren Buffett, Tyra Banks, Steve Ballmer and Jessica Alba have signed on as advisors for the eighth season of “Celebrity Apprentice” with new host Arnold Schwarzenegger stepping in for Donald Trump.
The 16 contenders set for season eight are: Laila Ali, Brooke Burke-Charvet, Eric Dickerson, Boy George, Matt Iseman, Carrie Keagan, Carson Kressley, Lisa Leslie, Jon Lovitz, Vince Neil, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Kyle Richards, Chael Sonnen, Porsha Williams, Ricky Williams and Carnie Wilson.
Also joining Schwarzenegger as a boardroom advisor is his nephew, entertainment attorney Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger. NBC has yet to set a premiere date.
With Schwarzenegger taking the helm, production of “Celebrity Apprentice” will move to Los Angeles with a facility located in the Silicon Beach technology hub.
The show challenges celebrities to work together to complete business-oriented tasks, this time with an emphasis on technology and innovation.
The winner will receive a $250,000 check for the charity of their choice. “Celebrity Apprentice” has raised more than $15 million for charities over the course of its run.

Go on and take a bow, Norman Reedus! The Walking Dead’s cast will join James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio’s Thursday, February 11, episode, when one of the stars reveals that he wouldn’t mind spending eternity with Rihanna.
During the Bravo interview program’s taping, Lipton asked Reedus what he would like God to tell him when he reaches the pearly gates.
“Wow, I wasn’t expecting you,” the actor, 47, replied. “Come on back — there’s seven Rihannas waiting for you in a hot tub.”

Blac Chyna Released From Prison
Blac Chyna was apparently released from prison today according to clues left on social media. Rob Kardashian’s love interest snap chatted her followers “did you miss me?” while casually drinking a soda. Then Rob himself posted what seemed to be a recent screen shot of the pair facetiming.
No official information about Blac Chyna’s release has be made. The Lash Bar owner was taken into custody in Austin after being ‘belligerent and drunk” on flight. Afterward she was discovered to have been in possession of an unknown controlled substance.
