I’m sure you’ve heard the story by now, but Odell Beckham has been suspended a game by the NFL for targeting Josh Norman with a dangerous helmet-to-helmet hit during a game. After the suspension was levied, rumors and accusations spread that Josh Norman was using “homophobic slurs” and “questioning Odell Beckham’s sexuality” at moments before and during the game. As the reports of the slurs started to come in, I saw a lot of broadcasters and pundits remark that Josh Norman was “questioning” or “attacking” Odell Beckham’s “manhood” with his comments. Just look at how perennial clowns Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless addressed the issue:

At the 12:50 mark, Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless both used the phrase “he questioned his manhood” when discussing Josh Norman’s comments about Beckham. The went on to insinuate that Beckhman is more sensitive to the “accusations” for some unnamed reason. And it wasn’t just Bayless and Smith talking about Beckham’s “manhood.” I saw that same verbiage used all week. And here’s why that’s a problem: conflating homosexuality with manhood is innately homophobic and demeaning. The idea that calling Beckham gay means he’s less of a man is saying that homosexuality makes someone less of a man. And that’s the overall opinion of homosexuality that needs to change.

Odell Beckham has given people plenty of fodder to wonder if he’s gay or not. That can’t be denied. And if he is, then he is. But him being gay wouldn’t make him less of a man than anyone else who catches touchdowns in the NFL. But we have an idea that masculinity needs to be tied to sexual orientation and that’s just simply degrading. It’s also a good reason why Odell Beckham lost his cool.

We’ve grown up thinking that “gay” is an insult. Want to see a straight guy lose his mind? Call him gay. That’s why grown a$$ men are still running around saying “pause” after a sentence that requires normal human interaction. Insinuate a guy is gay and you’re basically inviting him to a fight. That’s because the idea of being gay means that the man has failed at his biological duty of being a man. That he somehow now can’t perform basic tasks like, I don’t know, changing his tire and saying “you can’t say hi?” when a pretty woman walks by. So, for Odell Beckham, a football player by trade, being called gay means that he can’t do any of the manly things he does on the field. Because that’s how society sees gay men.

But here’s the secret. Lean close. Closer. Ready? Gay men are men. Real men. Who support families and raise children. Who save lives and fight for Black lives. Who serve our country and hold political office. Gay men are men. So when Josh Norman (allegedly) insinuated that Odell Beckham is gay, he wasn’t questioning his manhood. He was calling him gay. These are two very different things.

In an ideal world, someone calling me gay should be as innocuous as someone saying I’m from Kansas or went to a different middle school. But it’s not. Unfortunately, being called “gay” comes with so many negative connotations that non-gay people have placed on the word due to our own insecurities. So what happens is, a guy loses his mind and potentially injures another player permanently because he was so “insulted.” This isn’t healthy, people

Josh Norman calling Odell Beckham a “f*ggot,” if he did in fact do that, is insulting because it’s a slur. And it’s definitely a disgusting thing for him to have allegedly done. But simply calling Beckham gay? We have to find a way to disarm people who try to use that word as an insult. And the only way to do that is to treat gay people and the idea of homosexuality like it’s something to be accepted and not used as a weapon. Is that really so hard to do?

It’s that time of year and the Kardashians want to wish each and every one of you a happy holiday!

According to TMZ reports:

The annual Kardashian Christmas card was just revealed … and surprisingly, there’s not a single person with the famous last name on it.

Kim just posted the pic, showing the family’s new generation with North, Penelope, Reign and Mason all dressed in black. It’s obviously missing Saint but we’re not sure he was even born when the pic was taken.

It’s interesting … there was a lot of buzz about how this year’s card would look considering everything that’s gone on with the family, but at least everything seems kosher with the kiddies.

The Market For Black Santa Clauses Is Booming, And Black Men Are Taking Advantage

According to a Marketplace.org story, <a href="http://Marketplace.org” target=”_blank”>black Santa Clauses are all the rage and there is LOTS of money to be made if you have the physique to be jolly ol’ St. Nick…

The holidays can be lucrative for the many who dress up as Santa Claus each year. But there’s a budding industry in the Santa business for African-American Santas like Dee Sinclair, who is gearing up for his 14th season as Santa Claus. Sinclair said he’s been booked solid for Christmas events so far.

“We’re in high demand,” said Sinclair, who is based in Georgia. “It’s high demand to the point where folks just don’t know how to find us.”

Sinclair used to work as a mall Santa, but several years ago decided to create his own company “The Real Black Santa.” Now, he said he makes up to $60,000 in a holiday season. “Because it’s my company, it can be very lucrative,” said Sinclair.

Sinclair’s Santa sensibilities have also landed him a role on a reality TV series called “Santas In The Barn”. Antebellum show title notwithstanding, it’s a pretty remarkable feat for what many would consider such a niché market.

“You have some Santas that are going from dusk to dawn that can make an annual salary just in the month of December,” said Steph Seibert, owner of Atlanta’s Santas, a company that books Santas for all kinds of gigs — everything from corporate events to intimate holiday parties.

She said being Santa can be especially lucrative for African-Americans. “The black community, I mean, a lot of them want somebody that looks like them — looks like their kids,” said Seibert.

And there simply aren’t enough African-American Santas, she said.

“A lot of times it kind of boils down to supply and demand — definitely a high demand and a low supply,” said Seibert. There’s so much demand that her company usually can’t find an African-American Santa to fulfill requests from her clients.

Moral of the story is, if you’re a rotund black man who can make kids smile, we suggest you get your “ho, ho ho’s” in order and get ready to make it rain on Donner and Blitzen’s azz next year!

Two Women Rob Knicks Player Robbed Of $600k In Jewelry

Willing groupies and easy hookups are well known to be among the perks of playing professional sports. But one player’s man-thot activities with two strange women just ended up costing him over half a million dollars in fine jewels and fancy baubles.

Knicks baller Derrick Williams’ jewelry case came up a bit light after he brought two ready randoms back home from the club at 5am, and let them run all over his house while he took a nap. Via NBCnews:

Police have released footage of two women suspected of stealing over $600,000 worth of jewelry and personal valuables from a Knicks player’s home last weekend.

Police said the women met the 24-year-old victim, whom sources identify as Knicks forward Derrick Williams, at Club Up and Down at on 14th Street in the West Village.

The women went home with Williams to his Tribeca apartment after 5 a.m. Saturday and stayed for about an hour and a half before leaving, according to police.

Later that day, Williams noticed jewelry was missing.

The New York Post reports Williams had been celebrating his team’s 107-97 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers with a group of friends before they all headed back to Williams’ apartment with the women. They got into a Louis Vuitton case containing the jewelry inside one of the closets, then took off, the paper reported, citing law enforcement sources.

SMH! Hey, we feel for the guy, but what do you expect to happen when you let people you don’t know at all walk all up and through your house freely and unattended? Maybe next time he’ll at least lock up the valuables before he brings his groupies home…

San Antonio Santa Denies Special Needs Child A Seat On His Lap

The family of a 13-month-old baby with a genetic brain and muscle disorder has received a formal apology from Bass Pro Shops, days after the family said Santa Claus refused to be photographed with the child on his lap.

The incident happened Friday afternoon at Bass Pro Shops in northwest San Antonio.

Megan Self told KENS 5 she unhooked her son Caleb from his breathing apparatus and other medical equipment, after waiting in line for a free picture with Santa Claus.

Self said Santa stood up, took one photo with Caleb, then quickly handed off the child, who has been diagnosed with mitochondrial encephalomyopathy.

Stood up???? That’s janky as HELL!

According to Self, Caleb has been hospitalized 11 times since March. Despite his repeated medical setbacks, Caleb’s family wanted him to experience sitting on Santa’s lap.

“We were trying to work with them so we can get that memory, get the picture of him on his lap and everything,” added Self.

So f***ing sad.

A spokesman for Bass Pro Shops said via telephone Monday “this is not something we feel great about”. The spokesman added Santa Claus, his elves and store employees taking part in the free picture promotion go through sensitivity training before each holiday season.

Isn’t it kinda a prerequisite that Santa and his elves already be “sensitive”? Isn’t that their whole reason for existing? To make kids happy and feel special???

Furthermore, wouldn’t it be safer to have the child on his lap rather than standing up and increasing the chance that he drop him???

What an azzhole this Santa is. FOH fat man!

Racist Woman Calls Brazilian Comedy Team Terrorists, Goes On Rant

A Brazilian comedy duo is making national headlines for their video of a confrontation between them and a racist woman in Florida.

Nick of the Uh-Oh Monkey YouTube channel recently shared a recording of a woman cursing him and his friend out for “looking like terrorists” in Pompano Beach.

Via Uhoh Nick’s Facebook page:

“I was filming a sketch for youtube in front of a local airport, when a racist woman stopped her vehicle on the side of the road and started calling my friend and I terrorists,” performer. Being that I’m an inspiring filmmaker, I pulled out my camera and started recording the incident. I honestly never thought this would happen to me.”

The woman who has yet to be identified, unabashedly went off on the duo.

“I said you were a scum bag, you’re child pedophilers [SIC], f*** b****s that turn into terrorists,” said the woman.
“You’re turning terrorists now because you hate yourself so much. Now you’re taking pictures in front a plane to remind you of 9/11.”

The AJC’s findings were alarming and highlighted a possible link between police and the improper use of force. From the AJC: Nearly half the 184 Georgians shot and killed by police since 2010 were unarmed or shot in the back, an Atlanta Journal-Constitution/Channel 2 Action News investigation has found. Those findings emerged from the most extensive review of police shootings ever undertaken in Georgia, and cast doubt on claims by police that deadly force was always justified. The AJC and Channel 2 reported in October that every police shooting case since 2010 had been deemed lawful in the state’s criminal justice system. “So many of these cases involve somebody being shot in the back.
