Bill Cosby has filed a defamation suit against Beverly Johnson, according to his lawyer, for statements the former model made about the comedian in the media.

Johnson is one of dozens of women who have accused Cosby of sexual assault—she came forward in a Vanity Fair article that detailed her troubling encounter with Cosby, during which she said the star drugged her. In a statement issued Monday, Cosby’s attorney Monique Pressley said Cosby is suing Johnson in California for her “false, malicious, opportunistic, and defamatory accusations that Mr. Cosby drugged her.”

Pressley’s statement says Johnson is benefiting financially from sharing her story, which she told on several media shows and included in her recent memoir. Cosby is seeking compensatory and punitive damages and a court order that would keep Johnson from making further statements.

A representative for Johnson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Doesn’t Bill understand that no amount of lawsuits in the world will restore his reputation? The damage has been done. He will die as a known sexual abuser/rapist.

Woman Claims She Ran Over Pedestrians Due To Stress

Remember when we told you about the woman who purposely plowed down nearly 40 pedestrians on the sidewalk on the Las Vegas strip — all with her baby sitting in the backseat? The lunatic has been identified, as a 24-year-old homeless “model,” who claims she was frustrated about not being able to find a place to park her car for her and her baby to sleep in.

The driver who killed a mother-of-three and injured 36 others on the Las Vegas Strip sidewalk is homeless – and claims it was the stress of finding a place to sleep that caused her to plow into dozens of innocent pedestrians on Sunday.

Lakeisha Holloway, 24, told authorities she was stressed out after being chased by security guards from parking lots where she had been trying to sleep before the crash, according to a police report obtained on Monday.

She had arrived in the Nevada city from Portland, Oregon, about a week ago, and had been residing in her 1996 Oldsmobile sedan, parking it at garages throughout the city, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said. Holloway allegedly hit pedestrians on two different sections of the sidewalk while heading north on Las Vegas Boulevard near Bellagio Way.

Sheriff Joseph Lombardo told reporters that Holloway was stoic and didn’t appear to be distressed when she was arrested. He said she told a valet at a hotel to call 911 after she mowed down people on Las Vegas Boulevard.

Holloway told authorities that she had been in Las Vegas for around a week, Lombardo added, and police believe she was living in her vehicle with her daughter. Lombardo said she was thought to have been passing through Las Vegas on her way to find the child’s estranged father in Texas.

TMZ reports that Holloway is a model, who was in Sin City for work. She had just started a clothing line, but it is not clear if she was modeling her own clothes or picking up work elsewhere.

Meanwhile, her actions remain a mystery to her family, who claim that they’ve never known her to show any erratic behavior, and that she’s always been upstanding and responsible until recently going off-the-rader.

They say that she showed signs of change after she returned from a brief stay in Texas. Lakiesha had also reportedly changed her number and had not spoken to any family members in about a month.

All that from a “model who just started her own clothing line?” That entire tale sounds like something she made up in her own mind. There’s still no telling what was really on her mind at the time, because this entire sob story sounds like a BS reason to go killing and injuring strangers. Some dots are clearly not connecting here…

Kylie Jenner has been hype for her man since before the law would recognize their love. Even through a brief breakup and her rumored rebound with A$AP Rocky, Kylie and Tyga eventually were back on again. But after she caught wind of his trifling text messages — with a 14-year-old girl — the two haven’t been seen on the same side of town together.

Well, in true Kardashian-Jenner fashion, Kylie indirectly addressed the rumors over her relationship status today — via SnapChat, naturally. Man Calls 911 To Get More Rolling Papers

How high do you have to be before you call up the police for backup drug paraphernalia?? Apparently so high that herb inexplicably ends up in your ear…

Kyle Dustin Head, 24, according to Sgt. Edwards, placed a 911 call “in a disoriented state requesting drug paraphernalia.”

The call reached the Waynesboro Emergency Operations Center. While the 911 center did dispatch personnel to Head’s location, it was not for the purpose Head had in mind.

Two Waynesboro Police Department officers arrived and found Head “sitting in a parked 2005 Chevrolet pick-up truck which had the strong odor of marijuana emanating from it,” Edwards wrote. The vehicle was in the 1800 block of North Talbott Place.

Officers found loose particles of leafy plant matter on the dashboard, passenger seat, and on Head’s clothing. According to Edwards’ statement, it was also found “in his right ear.”

It was not explained how the plant matter came to be in his ear.

Hey, we doubt he knows either. This guy was half past seeing spaceships on Bankhead by the time he ran out of roll up.

No Indictments Issued In Sandra Bland Case

A grand jury met for eight hours today to deliberate on the death of Sandra Bland while in Waller County police custody last July. Ultimately, not one indictment was doled out. Via CNN:

A grand jury has decided not to indict anyone in the case of Sandra Bland, whose death in police custody raised questions of excessive force and the role of race.

The grand jury met for more than eight hours Monday.

“After reviewing all the evidence in the death of Sandra Bland, a Waller grand jury did not return an indictment in the death of Bland, nor were any indictments returned against any employee of the Waller County Jail,” said Darrell Jordan, a special prosecutor handling the case.

The grand jury will reconvene in January to consider other indictments.

Bland, an African-American woman, was found dead in her cell three days after she was arrested for allegedly failing to use her turn signal on July 10. She was 28.

Officials in Waller County, Texas, have said she hanged herself with a plastic bag. Her family and others have questioned that account.

SMH. We aren’t shocked…but it’s still a disheartening outcome.

Steve Harvey Asked To Host Miss Universe Again Next Year

Steve Harvey has been getting relentlessly roasted in the days since announcing the wrong Miss Universe winner on live television over the weekend. But as much as Steve has become the butt of millions of memes and jokes and even the subject of racial taunting, his little ratings boost blunder may have translated into more money in the bank for the slandered comedian. The Miss Universe organization has actually asked Steve to host the pageant again next year. Via Deadspin:

Steve Harvey has gotten an invitation to return as the host of the Miss Universe pageant next year, despite Sunday’s snafu in which he announced the wrong winner.

In an interview today on Jim Rome’s CBS Sports Radio show, Mark Shapiro, Chief Content Officer at WME|IMG, said the Family Feud host was “very remorseful” about the error and that Harvey was “absolutely” welcome back to host the 2016 pageant. Shapiro said Harvey “did a great job. He was funny, he was informative, he’s high energy, he’s got a great following… I definitely want him back, and I would hate to see him not come back. He’s going to want a shot to redeem himself.”

In fact, the Belize tourism board even specifically invited him to come redeem himself at their Costa Maya Festival in the upcoming months:

Interesting that Belize seems so welcoming when a good chunk of the Latin American community is still coming for Steve’s throat right now…

It will be interesting to see how this pans out next year. Hopefully the card will be less confusing for Steve next time around…

Kris Jenner apparently isn’t feeling Caitlyn these days. Rumor has it that ever since the Kardashians had an unwelcome intruder stroll into the front door, Kris is keeping tight control on who comes in and out of her house to see Kimmy and the kiddies. According to an insider, she’s also using this as an excuse to get under Caitlyn’s skin by blocking her from coming on the property to see her newest grandson.

“Kris is the gatekeeper on Kim’s behalf when it comes to appointment times with the baby,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “She’s in charge of who comes and goes.” Unfortunately, continued the source, “As far as Kris is concerned Caitlyn has no business being at Kim’s bedside.”

Controlling Kris, noted the source, just “wants the entire family to move on and put Caitlyn behind them.”

Kris’s focus on cutting Caitlyn out has put Kardashian, 35, in an uncomfortable position. However, “Ultimately, Kim’s mom will always come first and Kris has really put her foot down,” said the source. “She does not want Caitlyn cooing over Saint, especially if there are cameras in tow.”

Seems silly. Surely Kris has control over who comes in her house, but not over who Kim’s kid can and cannot meet. If Kimmy really objects to Caitlyn not seeing Saint, it’s only a short drive across town to take the baby to see his other Grandparent.

Florida Woman Beats Husband For Passing Too Much Gas

Honestly, we don’t know anyone that enjoys being subjected to another person’s flatulence. But one West Palm Beach woman decided she simply wasn’t going to take it. 55-year-old Dawn Meikle got so fed up with her husband farting repeatedly while she was trying to get some sleep that she physically attacked him to get her point across. Via WPTV:

According to a police report, around 3:30 a.m. Dec. 11, an officer responded to a domestic battery call at a home on SW Sadwick Avenue.

The officer said a man at the home stated he was lying in bed with his wife when he passed gas.

The husband said he wife, identified as Dawn Meikle, 55, then began elbowing him on his arm. The husband said he continued to pass gas and Meikle continued to elbow and kick him again. He told police that he began restraining his wife for his own safety but her “lip was inadvertently split open,” according to the report.

During the fight, police said the husband suffered several 6- to 8-inch scratches across his chest. His shirt was also ripped in three different places.

Meikle admitted to police that she began to elbow and punch him after she repeatedly told him to stop passing gas in bed. She also said her lip became split only while trying to be restrained and not from a punch.

Meikle was charged with domestic battery and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail.

Well, that escalated. Maybe he should chew on a little Gas-X next time?

A Toronto fashion blogger named Kamilla Osman has been making waves on Instagram for the past few months — mainly due to her near twin-like resemblance to everyone’s least favorite media darling, Kim Kardashian.

Not only do they share strikingly similar facial features, near identical skin tone, hair length and color, but Kamilla also dresses in a spectrum of Yeezy-ish neutral tones and employs a very similar makeup and beauty regimen.
