Lamar Odom has been fighting demons for the better part of the last two years, but seems to have gone even further off the rails since his divorce from Khloe Kardashian was finalized. Now, things seem to have come to a tragic head for the former baller, as it was just revealed that he was discovered unresponsive in the midst of a multi-day bender inside a Nevada whore house.

Lamar Odom is fighting for his life after falling into unconsciousness at Dennis Hoff’s Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada … TMZ Sports has learned.
Sources at the Love Ranch tell us … 35-year-old Odom arrived at the Ranch Saturday and was partying with the girls for days. A source at the Ranch said Lamar was taking an herbal substitute for Viagra.
On Tuesday afternoon, someone went into Odom’s room and found him unconscious. The person rolled the former NBA star over and saw fluid streaming out of his mouth.
An ambulance took Lamar to Pahrump hospital, where doctors intubated him … an indication he could not breathe on his own.
We’re told Lamar is being airlifted from the hospital to Las Vegas for more treatment.
Yikes. Hopefully Lamar will pull through and learn something from all this. But right now it’s hard to tell which way things are going. We’ll keep you updated as we find out more…

NBC just released the first photos and revealed the cast of their upcoming live production of “The Wiz” on network television.
Newcomer Shanice Williams will star as Dorothy, while industry vet David Alan Grier stars as the Cowardly Lion, and singer Ne-Yo appears as the Tin Man. Elijah Kelley, best known from his role in “Hairspray,” stars as the Scarecrow.
Other big names are on the supporting cast, as Queen Latifah stars as The Wiz, Uzo Aduba plays Glinda the Good Witch, and Mary J. Blige portrays Evillene, the Wicked Witch of the West. Common, Amber Riley and Broadway’s original Dorothy Stephanie Mills are also set to star in the live production.
The show will air live on Thursday, Dec. 3 on NBC, and is scheduled to move to Broadway after its network TV premiere. Will you be watching??

A former football player with apparent severe mental issues brutally murdered a jogger with a machete…for no reason other than his own frustration with his life. The man, who mysteriously disappeared from Texas A&M University during his freshman year while successfully playing as a wide receiver, had recently faced eviction from his residence, and said the experience caused him to snap. Thomas Johnson, 21, had recently lost his housing and was angry with his life when he repeatedly struck the runner using a ‘large-bladed knife’ and lodged the weapon in the man’s head on Monday.
After the early-morning attack on the popular White Rock Creek Trail in Dallas, Johnson used a cellphone to call 911 to say the victim ‘was laying down with a sword in his head and not moving.’
A bicyclist identified only as Brandon told police he saw the attacker repeatedly striking the jogger in the head, an arrest warrant affidavit revealed on Tuesday, according to NBC Dallas.
The cyclist said: ‘As I get closer and closer I could tell it was a machete and there are repeated blows that are occurring.
After calling 911, Johnson stayed at the scene and spoke with a responding officer, saying, ‘I just committed capital murder’ and adding that he ‘just picked somebody to murder.’
The affidavit said when the officer asked him to explain, Johnson said only, ‘It’s like when you don’t wake up.’
Whoa…this story is absolutely insane. He was just angry at his own life so he hacked up a random person? SMH!

While watching Tuesday night’s Democratic presidential candidate debate, Pullen tweeted that black people are the “main killers” in society and suggested taking away their guns:
“Yes black lives matter. The best way to end the slaughter of young black men is to take guns away from blacks as they are the main killers,” Pullen wrote.
Pullen’s correct that most young black men are killed by other black people — but then again, most white people are killed by other white people.
Statistics also don’t bear out the idea that black people do most of the killing in the United States, either. FBI crime stats show that white people committed 4,849 murders in 2010 while black people committed 5,770 — but the stats also show that 4,224 murders were committed by someone whose race was unknown. The most striking difference in the FBI stats when it comes to murder offenders is the one between men and women.

A Canadian farming family is in mourning after three of their little girls were killed after being buried alive in a truckload of canola seeds.
The incredible tragedy claimed the lives of 13-year-old Catie Bott and her twin sisters, Dara and Jana, 11, at their Alberta home on Tuesday, the Calgary Sun reported.
Family members and neighbors managed to free the girls and perform CPR. Two of the girls could not be immediately saved while the third was flown to a children’s hospital where she died from her injuries on Wednesday afternoon.
“Our kids died living life on the farm, it is a family farm. We do not regret raising and involving our kids Catie, age 13 — Dara, age 11, and Jana, age 11 on our farm. It was our life! (sic)” the children’s heartbroken parents said in a statement.
“Thank you for all of the overwhelming support we have received from the first responders, neighbors and friends. We would ask the media to respect our privacy at this time of grief.”

‘Jessie fell hard for Luke, but over the summer she started having doubts,’ a source told The Sun.
The report added that Luke, 31, has unfollowed the singer on Twitter.

While governments debate taking down Confederate flag or removing it altogether, a county in Tennessee is considering raising the divisive banner.
The Greene County Commission will take up a resolution Monday to fly the Confederate flag on top of the county courthouse alongside the American flag.
The resolution was proposed by Commissioner James “Buddy” Randolph. It says the flag honors those Tennesseans who fought in the Civil War, during which time the state had large numbers of both Union and Confederate supporters.

The NBA’s Dwight Howard has hit back at his baby mama’s lawsuit over whether he should pay child support based off of his $27 million annual salary.
Howard’s baby mama Tiffany Render sued him earlier this year in Orange County, Fl., family court, asking a judge to determine the child support for their daughter based on his $27 mill salary — and the NBA star is demanding the judge throw out her case and enforce their previously agreed upon deal for him to pay $10,000 a month in support.
Render claimed in her suit that she reached a confidential settlement with the Houston Rockets player in 2013, where he agreed to pay $10,000 a month in child support for their 4-year-old daughter. However, she said since January, Howard has only been paying her half of what is owed.
The baby mama said that since Howard can’t follow their deal and pay up the ten grand a month, she decided to file the lawsuit and allow the judge to determine the amount of support based on his $27 million dollar a year NBA contract. She claimed she needed the extra dough for expensive private schooling, extracurricular activities and various other expenses.
Howard didn’t take kindly to being hit with the lawsuit by Render, and recently decided to slap her with his own counter-suit. He blasted her complaint and demanded that the child support and custody agreement they worked out in 2013 be enforced and no changes be made to the deal.
Render headed back to court firing back at his counter-suit and also demanding the NBA star be ordered to hand over answers to questions pertaining to himself and his career.
The nasty battle between Howard and his baby mama is only getting started and the judge has yet to rule in the case.
Howard’s attorney Mayanne Downs declined to comment. We’ve reached out to Render’s lawyer.

A Long Island High School assistant principal who appeared in a raunchy rap video Trey Songz in September has been fired and reassigned, a district spokeswoman said recently.

Esther Adler-O’Keefe received criticism from the Southampton school district after the release of rapper J.R. and R&B singer Trey Songz’s raunchy music video, in which she played a minor role.
Superintendent Scott Farina wrote in an email sent to parents earlier this month that Adler-O’Keefe had been assigned other duties within the district starting Oct. 19.
“Ms. Adler-O’Keefe will oversee a variety of academic support services throughout the district,” Farina wrote in the email.
Intermediate school assistant principal Susan Wright will take over as assistant principal at Southampton High School, the email said.
Adler-O’Keefe, with the district since 2010, did not respond to a request for comment.
In it, Adler-O’Keefe plays a woman going on vacation with her husband. J.R. has been hired as the house sitter, but proceeds to throw a large party featuring alcohol, drugs and bikini-clad women splashing and dancing in the pool.
Adler-O’Keefe appears again at the end of video, when she and her husband return to find rapper J.R. asleep on their couch surrounded by video chicks. Adler-O’Keefe wakes him up by throwing a beach ball but the school board still isn’t feeling her appearance:
Following the video’s release, officials declined to comment on whether Adler-O’Keefe faced disciplinary action, citing personnel protections. In a statement at the time, Farina said the district was unhappy with Adler-O’Keefe’s participation.
“It has recently come to our attention that a member of our administrative staff appeared in a music video. The video in question showcases behaviors and language use that is not promoted by the Southampton School District,” Farina said. “In fact, we actively teach our students the importance of good character and making smart choices. Additionally, this is not representative of who we are as a district nor of our students and staff.”

A new viral video shows a half-eaten raw fish wiggling its fins and then leaping off the edge of the plate in a Japanese restaurant…

At the end of the clip, the fish makes one more attempt to escape before the cameraman runs away scared and shuts off the footage.
One explanation for why the fish moved may be in the soy sauce.
According to National Public Radio, “Because this (fish) was just killed, its muscle cells were still intact and operational. A live (fish) moves by sending an electrical command from its brain to its muscles. The commands say ‘contract’ or ‘relax.’”
Since the fish’s brain was no longer operating, it couldn’t send signals. Salt acts as a substitute. And soy sauce is rich in salt. It caused the muscle cells to react.“Extra sodium (the salt) sends ions to the cell that trigger the cell to open up, creating a cascade of chemical activities that causes the cell to fire, so the muscle twitches,” NPR reports.
