Jamie Foxx And Katie Holmes Hotel Hookups Include Disguises

Jamie Foxx’s penchant for plain white women continues as the Oscar winner apparently is still reportedly digging Katie Holmes’ backs out. Word of these two swirling about town first hit the mags in 2013, and two years later, the couple is still going strong and are as secretive as ever.

Despite smashing them cakes to smithereens for the past two years, Katie is still meeting Jamie at hotel hookup spots like a sidekick in fear of the main chick.

According to Us Weekly:

A source tells Us Weekly that for a recent L.A. rendezvous with boyfriend of two years, Jamie Foxx, the Ray Donovan actress, 36, “put on a wig and hat to meet him at a hotel.”

The relationship is a multi-city operation: While Holmes, who has been filming All We Had in NYC, supported the Grammy winner, 47, following his Aug. 22 SLS Las Vegas gig, “Katie sent Suri from NYC to L.A. with a nanny,” says a Holmes insider.

The soon-to-be fourth grader, 9, the source adds, needed to be back in time for school. Suri also took a Sept. 7 trip to Disneyland while mom visited Foxx’s Thousand Oaks, Calif. mansion.

“Katie is so in love,” adds the insider. “I don’t know if he’s dating other women, but she isn’t dating other men. She is all about Jamie.”

If Katie can stomach being an alleged closeted man’s beard/wife for all them years, surely she can publicly date a black man without fear, no?

Nobody Got For That! NY Crazy Strips Down On Subway

As if commuting the New York subway isn’t a hassle in itself, yet another crazy was able to make the ride that much more dreadful for passengers yesterday.  This man was caught via Live Leak, stripping down his loins and frolicking the NY train.  Oddly enough though, the passengers didn’t seem too alarmed– at first. Nia Guzman’s Lawyers Demand Chris Brown Take Drug Tests

Last week we reported that a Houston judge awarded singer Chris Brown 50/50 joint custody of his daughter Royalty. The child’s mother, Nia Guzman, wanted to deny Breezy all custodial rights and strict supervised visits. Ya honor wasn’t hearing it and ruled that Chris would take Royalty home today and would take her back and forth to Nia’s house every 4 days.

Now it looks like Chris is already in jeopardy of losing custody of his precious daughter if he’s busted doing on of his favorite pastimes. According to TMZ Nia’s lawyers demanded that Breezy submit hair and urine samples for drug tests, and the judge even forced the singer to piss in a cup that day in court!

The judge didn’t specify what he would do if the tests came back positive for drugs but we assume a parent would be seen as unfit for having yayo or kush in their system the day of a custody hearing.

Nia Guzman’s lawyers are also adding the stipulations that she has to be present when Breezy has physical custody of his 1-year-old and in just 12 days Chris and Nia must go into mediation to hopefully agree on a long-term custody and support agreement.

HBCU All-Stars Prove That Historically Black Colleges Are Necessary In America

Thinking about attending a HBCU but heard some misconceptions about the experience? The U.S. Department of Education recently announced the 2015 HBCU All-Stars, a group of undergraduate, master’s and professional students at historically black colleges and universities.

U.S. News recently spoke with some of the 2015 HBCU All-Stars about common lies and misconceptions that some have about historically black schools and what it’s really like to attend one.

Jamie Binns, junior at Talladega College: Binns​ didn’t always plan on going to an HBCU, but after getting into and later enrolling at Talladega College in Alabama​, he’s grateful for the experience.

“I would like to think that my HBCU has done well for me and has been able to afford me a lot of opportunities,” says Binns, who is president of his school’s student government association, a member of the track and field team and a member of the presidential honor society.

He wants people to realize that historically black colleges can be just as challenging as any other.

“An HBCU experience, or an HBCU education rather, is not inferior to a predominantly white institution,” says Binns. HBCUs have had prestigious alumni​ go out and do great things, he says.

And he’s right.​ Some of these alumni, which come from various black colleges, include film director Spike Lee, author Toni Morrison and civil rights activist Jesse L. Jackson Sr.

Angelica Willis, junior at North Carolina A&T State University: Before becoming an undergrad, Angelica Willis knew some of the professors at North Carolina A&T State University, where her mother also attended. When Willis arrived as a freshman, the school almost felt like home.

“I love the family environment,” says Willis, who has a 4.0 GPA as a computer science major and mentors other students at the school. “It just seems so friendly and open.”

Sam Smith Admits That He Wanted To Kill Himself Over Weight

Singer Sam Smith recently revealed that he contemplated suicide after a photo of him looking a little chunky on NYE spread all over the net.

Via RadarOnline:

“I saw a picture of me on New Year’s Eve topless on a beach in Sydney and it made me want to kill myself,” he admitted. “I just thought I was huge. I’ve had issues with my weight since I was a kid… My dad became a fitness trainer when I was 12 and he tried to help me, but I’ve always had issues.”

After the New Year’s Eve photo circulated, he found a renewed determination to slim down.

“I was put in contact with Amelia Freer, the dietician who got Boy George to lose all his weight,” he said. Since changing his eating habits, Smith has lost 73 pounds, telling GQ magazine, “The reality is I can do it now because I have a little bit more money, and that’s the sad thing… It’s impossible to eat healthily if you don’t have any money.”

We hope that Sam can keep the weight off so he can keep making great music!

NBA MVP Moses Malone Passes Away At The Age Of 60

Sad news to report in the sports world today.

Via ESPN:

Three-time NBA MVP and Pro Basketball Hall of Famer Moses Malone died Sunday at the age of 60.

Malone, named one of the NBA’s 50 greatest players, was the Finals MVP in 1983, as he led the Philadelphia 76ers to the title.

“It is with a deep sense of sadness that the Sixers family mourns the sudden loss of Moses Malone. It is difficult to express what his contributions to this organization — both as a friend and player — have meant to us, the city of Philadelphia and his faithful fans,” the 76ers said in a statement Sunday.

“Moses holds a special place in our hearts and will forever be remembered as a genuine icon and pillar of the most storied era in the history of Philadelphia 76ers basketball. No one person has ever conveyed more with so few words – including three of the most iconic in this city’s history. His generosity, towering personality and incomparable sense of humor will truly be missed. We will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers and as we are once again reminded of the preciousness of life.”

Mom Says Her Son Isn’t Racist For Threatening To Kill Middle Eastern People

A racist tweet sent out last week from a teenager in Bakersfield, California is getting major national attention.

Via Raw Story:

The tweet, since taken down along with the Twitter account, was the handiwork of a recent high school graduate whose mother stated that neither her son nor her family are racists.

Posted on the eve of the anniversary of the attacks on the U.S. dating back to 2001, the tweet read: ““Gonna go kill some towel heads tomorrow in honor of 9/11, who’s with me?”

Informed of the threat, Sgt. Joe Grubbs, a spokesperson for the Bakersfield Police Department, said that, while they investigate all threats, what the teen did is not illegal since he didn’t make a specific threat against a person.

“Nothing about that is illegal. He’s well within his first amendment rights to say something like that,” Grubbs said, adding, “From this tweet, I don’t think there’s really anything to be scared about.”

The mother of the unidentified teen initially told reporters that her son would not apologize, later issuing a statement that he was sorry, but that he would not be talking to reporters.

In a statement she wrote: “I would like to state that I never said my child wouldn’t apologize. I just stated that he would not be interviewed, as he is a minor. He knows he made a huge mistake, and he is very sorry. He has been taught right from wrong and would never do something like that. My child is not racist. We are not racists. The story has been twisted. As a mother, I am protecting my child. That is my job.”

Cop’s Photo With Man Who Tried To Stab Him Goes Viral

A North Carolina cop’s uplifting Facebook photo showing his run-in with a man who tried to stab him last year has gone viral.

Via NY Daily News:

Raleigh Police Officer JD Boyd took to Facebook after randomly reuniting with a former suspect who nearly killed him, posting an image of the two new pals grinning side-by-side along with a touching message.

“Almost a year ago this man and I were involved in a major altercation where he tried to stab me in the head and I nearly shot him,” he wrote in the post. “Today we ran into each other again.”

The cop, who’s seen in uniform with his arms around an unidentified man, said he learned the man changed his ways after serving time in prison.

“He now has a full-time job and has another son on the way that will be here in November,” Boyd wrote. “I was glad it ended well for us both that day and I am ecstatic now to learn that he has turned his life around and we can embrace as friends.”

The post has gotten almost 190,000 likes and 66,000 shares since Tuesday.

“No one is ever lost forever and as long as you continue to work to be a better version of yourself than you were yesterday things will work out eventually,” the officer wrote.

Woman Arrested For Making Children Live In Underground Cave

A Kansas City woman was recently arrested after authorities say she was abusing her children by forcing them to live in squalor.

According to KMBC 24-year-old Brittany Mugrauer is facing child endangerment charges after her two children were found living in a wooden crate in underground caves.

Police report that the children, ages 4 and 6, were dirty and barefoot and living in a 10′ x 8′ wooden crate with car seats and blankets.

The children told authorities that they lived in the car with their mother and one child, the 4-year-old, was seen eating dry ramen noodles with dirt in it.

The children have since been taken to a hospital for an evaluation while Brittany’s bail is $75,000.

Matt Damon Interrupts Black Filmmaker To Explain Diversity To Her

Hollywood has been known to be liberal when it comes to its politics but just as conservative (and racist) when it comes to hiring minorities behind the scenes. Last night on HBO’s Project Greenlight, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck‘s latest reality show where they give new filmmakers the chance to make a movie that racial paradox reared its ugly head once again.

The finalists were introduced to a group of filmmakers and producers that included Effie Brown, a successful Black woman who has produced a slew of films including the critically acclaimed hit Dear White People.

At one point in the show Effie brings up an issue with the only Black character in the entire film who just so happens to be a prostitute that gets beaten up by her Caucasian pimp. White people just don’t understand!

Effie brings up the issue but is rudely interrupted by Matt…

“You’re looking at this group right here and who you’re picking and the story that you’re doing,” she says calmly. Luckily, Matt Damon is there to swoop in with this Smart White Man cape and interrupts Brown in order to explain diversity to her and this room full of white people. He argues that actually, the less diverse directing teams brought up the same issue about the prostitute character that Effie is raising.

Effie counters by saying that his summation is “not necessarily true,” and Matt Damon interrupts her again, this time by laying out what exactly diversity is.

“When we’re talking about diversity you do it in the casting of the film not in the casting of the show.”

Apparently Mr. Damon and his white boy fraternity of Hollywood movers and shakers believe Black people can be cast in their movies but not write, direct or produce them. In a later interview, Matt Damon says, “I’m glad Effie flagged the issue of diversity for all of us.”
