Woman’s $25,0000 Rolex Stolen During Seizure
A New York woman is reeling after police say she was robbed while suffering a seizure.
A woman having a seizure was robbed of her $25,000 Rolex in the backseat of a cab, police said.
The thieves snatched the 22-year-old woman’s purse, which had the expensive watch inside, through the taxi’s open window on Aug. 21 about 5 a.m. at Eighth Avenue and West 21st Street, according to the NYPD.
Three witnesses saw the incident and the thieves fled on foot, authorities said.
No arrests had been made as of Monday morning, police said.

Did You See? Rent A White Man To Help You Out Of Racial Jams Through “White Squad” [Video]
If you caught the VMA’s last night, you more than likely also peeped a commercial spoof advertising White Squad, a racial service meant to swoop in and provide a white person to help you out of various racist pickles you might find yourself in as a person of color.
While many wondered if this strategically placed ad was another one of the network’s micro-aggressions, the ad was actually a part of MTV’s Look Different campaign, the same initiative that brought us the network’s “White People” documentary that aired earlier in the summer.

Even though you can’t just call up White Squad for real, it wouldn’t be so crazy if they did exist. After all, they offer a quick solution to systemic inequity: white privilege on demand. And, when you look at the numbers, it becomes painfully clear: Statistically, your life could go in a completely different direction simply based on the color of your skin.

With numerous celebrities and officials getting exposed after hackers leaked the names of millions of a its members, one would think that the cheating site was on its way out. But in a weird twist of events, even more people are signing up looking for extramarital affairs — even seeing how poorly things have gone for the members who have been exposed.

Ashley Madison isn’t going away.
The adultery-encouraging site certainly suffered a setback when millions of its alleged users’ identities were released by hackers last month. However, in a statement released Monday by parent company Avid Life Media, the company said, “Recent media reports predicting the imminent demise of Ashley Madison are greatly exaggerated.”
“The company continues its day-to-day operations even as it deals with the theft of its private data by criminal hackers,” the statement continued. “Despite having our business and customers attacked, we are growing.”
According to this release, “hundreds of thousands of new users signed up for the Ashley Madison platform” in this past week alone, “including 87,596 women.”
Yes, women—real women, not bots or men pretending to be women—are joining Ashley Madison, per this press release.
The site refutes reports claiming there are very few active female users. (One reporter has also revised her estimate of how many women are on the site, explaining she originally “arrived at that low number based in part on a misunderstanding of the evidence.”)
According to Avid Life Media’s statistics, the ratio of paying male members to active female members is 1.2 to 1.
The company is definitely trying to spin it into something positive…but it sounds to us like the golddigger-brigade found out there’s a lot of married money camping out on the site looking for side pieces and they signed up in droves.

White Florida Teacher Fired When School Found Out She Was Dating A Black Man

A white Florida teacher claims she was discriminated against for having a black boyfriend and associating with black staff members.
A lawsuit filed by former Edgewater High School math teacher Audrey Dudek against Orange County Public Schools last week alleges that she was fired in 2013 after school administrators found out she was dating a black man, to whom she is now married.
A copy of the lawsuit obtained by WESH says that at the beginning of the 2011-2012 school year, principal Michelle Erickson learned that Dudek’s boyfriend was black.
“Upon encountering Dudek with her boyfriend, Principal Erickson appeared shocked and offended,” the lawsuit said. “After that encounter, Principal Erickson treated Dudek differently.”
The lawsuit also claims that on another occasion, then-vice principal Anthony Serianni berated Dudek until she cried. When Dudek confided in a black security guard after the incident, Serianni allegedly complained about the teacher being associated with “those” people, referring to black staff members.
Dudek also says that during a talent show, school staff members, including Erickson and Serianni, took part in a racist skit in which staff wore “black face,” “weave hair extensions” and gold teeth in a “pejorative display of ‘black’ culture.”
Dudek was fired in 2013 on the basis of her race, gender and who she associated with, the lawsuit alleges.
Sounds like this school district is about to have to pay up!!
