Did Subway Know That Jared Fogle Was A Child Predator Back In 2008?

A former owner of a Subway has come forward to allege that she was told by Jared Fogle, the disgraced former restaurant pitchman, back in 2008 that he often solicited child prostitutes for sex.

She says however when she told execs about his disturbing behavior she was completely ignored.

Business Insider reports:

A former Subway franchisee claims she warned Subway about Jared Fogle’s sexual interest in children seven years ago and that the sandwich chain did nothing.

Cindy Mills says that Fogle, Subway’s pitchman for 15 years, started calling her daily and making disturbing comments in early 2008, shortly after they had met at a Subway function.

“He would just tell me he really liked them young,” Mills told Business Insider.

Mills was a Subway franchisee from 2006 to 2012 in Pensacola, Florida.

Mills says Fogle admitted to her that he’d had sex with minors, telling her about trysts with child prostitutes between the ages of 9 and 16 years old in Thailand and the US.

Mills previously told Business Insider that Fogle allegedly tried to get her to sell herself for sex on Craigslist.

Mills says she shared this information with Subway in 2008 but that the company ignored her complaints. That’s when she decided to hire a lawyer.

The company said Wednesday that it is investigating whether executives were aware of Fogle’s interest in children.

Mills says that when she contacted Subway about Fogle’s behavior in 2008, the company directed her to Jeff Moody, then CEO of SFAFT.

Mills says that she spoke to Moody on the phone and told him about Fogle’s disturbing comments about children.

Mills says Moody cut her off in the middle of the conversation, saying, “Please don’t tell me any more.”

He indicated that he had dealt with similar complaints in the past, according to Mills.

“He said, ‘Don’t worry, he has met someone. She is a teacher and he seems to love her very much, and we think she will help keep him grounded,'” Mills recalls.

Moody, now CEO of Rita’s Italian Ice, did not respond to requests for comment.

Karrueche Claps Back At Chris Brown Over Marques Houston Diss

Remember when we told you that Breezy clapped back at Marques Houston for commenting on Karrueche’s booty baring selfie???

Well in addition to Chris, one of his friends also reacted negatively to the pic and sent Marques a death threat via photos of high powered weapons.

She says, “I don’t want anything to do with any type of violence or negativity.”

Karrueche tells us she and Marques are just friends, nothing more. The two of them just finished filming a movie together.

Chris has been radio silent since the threat was posted.

Yesterday, BET Digital held their first “How to Rock Kicks” event at Milk Studios in Soho. The fashion show brought five celebs together to curate their own fashion presentation based around athletic shoes.

Hip hop figures and sneaker heads Fabolous, Pusha T, Casey Veggies, Syd Tha Kyd, and Vashtie came together to present their different interpretations of street wear ensembles to complement sneakers. Hosts Diggy Simmons and Tracy G spoke to each of the fashion curators about their inspiration behind the looks throughout the night.

Sounds were provided by NYC’s DJ Brittany Sky. Not only did the event focus on fashion in hip hop culture today, but BET.com took time to pay tribute to the late hip hop legend, Sean Price. Along with the celebrity talent that made the show happen, recognizable faces such as; Mack Wilds, June Ambrose, Bridget Kelly, Mayor, Calvan Fowler, Sole Collector’s Editor-in-Chief, Gerald Flores were also in attendance to watch.

Jeremiah Trotter Portrays Escaped Slave In “The North Star”

RLJ Entertainmenthas acquired all rights for writer/director Thomas K. Phillips’ feature film “The North Star.” The film, which tells the story of of Benjamin “Big Ben” Jones and Moses Hopkins, two slaves who escaped from a Virginia plantation and made their way to freedom in Buckingham, Pennsylvania in 1849, will be released in theaters in September 2015, beginning its theatrical run in Philadelphia, where the movie was filmed. The movie will also be shown on UMC – Urban Movie Channel, and released on DVD and Digital HD in early 2016.

In addition to Trotter, cast members for include Clifton Powell, Lynn Whitfield, John Diehl, Keith David, Christopher Mann, and April Woodall.

Wells Fargo Does An About Face After BOSSIP Highlighted Black Stuntmen’s Fight For Bank To Honor Black Stagecoach Driver In Commcercial

The Black Stuntmen’s Association scored a win in their fight against Wells Fargo to honor a freedom-fighting black stagecoach driver who worked for the bank during the California Gold Rush.

Wells Fargo bank offered to fork over a $10,000 grant to the Black Stuntmen’s Association the day after BOSSIP asked its reps about the group’s battle with the bank to commemorate their one-time employee, William Robison, with a commercial featuring a black stagecoach driver. The bank also agreed to include them in an upcoming publicity campaign.

“We recognize the importance of your legacy to the African-American community,” Wells Fargo rep Lisa Frison told the stuntmen in an email, “and would be pleased to help bring broader visibility and awareness to your organization in this way.”

But association president Willie Harris said the $10,000 amounted to “hush money,” and said the bank hadn’t been in touch for weeks until BOSSIP began asking questions.
“I think they think if they offered us the $10,000 we would go away,” Harris told BOSSIP. “We ain’t for sale.”

“Why did they wait till you called?” he asked. “We do have some pride.”

The association – created in the 1960s to tackle the entrenched racism in the Hollywood movie stunt industry – has been in a two year fight with Wells Fargo over Robison, who drove a six-horse stagecoach from Stockton, Ca. to the Nevada gold mines for 40 years until he retired in 1895. Robison was part of a gun-toting gang who freed a group of African-Americans in San Joaquin County who were being illegally sold into slavery. Robison also worked to desegregate California’s school system, and as a delegate in the state Convention of Colored Citizens, he distributed petitions demanding blacks be allowed to testify in court.

We’ve reached out to Wells Fargo for comment.

Harris said he’s asked Wells Fargo for a face-to-face meeting, and he doesn’t know if the group would accept the money.

“We’re not stupid and we do have respect for ourselves,” Harris told BOSSIP. “We’re going to stand on our feet.”

Mendeecees Copped To Major Drug Slinging Last Spring; Faces Up To 40 Years

Love & Hip Hop New York’s Mendeecees Harris has been given a little bit more time to enjoy life on the outside.

The admitted drug kingpin and father of two has had his sentencing hearing for drug trafficking delayed until the Fall, BOSSIP can reveal.

Harris, who earlier this year pled guilty to felony conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute, was supposed to be sentenced Aug. 31 in New York State Federal Court, but the sentencing hearing was pushed back until Oct. 2.

“It was the judge’s schedule,” Harris’ lawyer, Donald Thompson, told BOSSIP. “We didn’t have any control over it.”

The government contended that Harris helped operate a large drug dealing operation that funneled huge quantities of cocaine and heroin from New York City to upstate New York. Under his plea deal, Harris could get anywhere from five to 40 years in prison, as well as a $5 million fine.

Thompson said it wasn’t yet clear how much time Harris was going to do.
“As we get closer, we’ll have a better idea,” he said. “We don’t have anything firmed up.

In the meantime, Harris is keeping busy with work and family, Thompson said.
“He seems to be doing well,” he said. “They’re filming the new season, he’s doing a lot of public appearances.”

Tennessee Councilman Johnny James Calls 911 And Threatens To Kill “N***er”

A Tennessee city councilman who runs a car towing service called 911 earlier this month, telling the operator to send police officers to his place of business or “you’re going to have one deceased black n****r down here.”

In the recording, reported by WVLT, Loudon City Councilman Johnny James can be heard threatening to beat the man to death.

James says he is not prejudiced and has lots of black friends, but that he was frustrated at his inability to get paid by the man before they got into a fight.

“I regret it, I wish it had never happened, but there’s nothing I can do about it, I can’t change what the past is,” James explained. “He kept agitating me, getting on my truck, agitating me, and he took me to the limit.”

Initially addressing the 911 operator as “sweetheart” James identified himself before saying, “If you don’t get 941 down here on Bright Rd. you’re going to have one deceased black n****r down here.”

During the conversation with the operator James was asked if he had any weapons in his wrecker truck, with James replying, “No, I don’t need a weapon to beat him to death with.”

Kim K Finally Explains Why She Won’t Smile For Flicks

Through her relationship with mega rapper Kanye West, Kim K has undoubtedly adopted the ever famous ‘Yeezy smile’ aka ‘the stale face’.  Finally, in an intimate interview with C Magazine and Amanda de Cadent, the mommy-to-be opened up about her new gut full of Yeezy and how her first pregnancy brought on her ‘no smiling’ policy.  She explained that harsh body-shaming during complication in her pregnancy with North changed the way she wanted to be seen.

Time heals all wounds, except for Maryland sicko George Kephart who couldn’t let go of the fact that his wife cheated on him 50 years ago.

Court documents claim the 78-year-old POS suspected his wife, who suffers from severe dementia, of stepping out on their marriage. When Kephart questioned his wife, she confessed about the 50-year-old dalliance. But rather than let the past remain the past, Kephart allegedly beat and strangled his and shoved a hot curling iron up her vagina. The poor woman didn’t get medical help until days later, when her caretaker noticed bruising all over her fragile body.

Days later, a part-time home caretaker noticed significant bruising on Mrs. Kephart’s head, neck, back, arms and legs. She called her patient’s son who in turn notified police.

Paramedics took Mrs. Kephart to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville where staff performed a sexual assault forensic exam, which revealed torn internal flesh.

During a hospital room interview, Mrs. Kephart told detectives she is terribly afraid of her husband because he routinely hits and “burns her with fire.” She went on to confess that she “hates him”, charging documents state.

ABC 7 News has learned Kephart works as a bus aide for Montgomery County Public Schools, serving children with special needs; a job he has held for the last 15 years. Although his name is still listed on MCPS’ website, spokesman Dana Tofig said Kephart is currently on unpaid administrative leave, and consequently, will not be riding on any school busses when classes commence next week.

Texas Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth Gunned Down While Pumping Gas

A man “believed to be the alleged gunman” in the killing of a uniformed Houston-area sheriff’s deputy was in custody and being questioned Saturday morning, Sgt. William Kennard of the Texas Department of Public Safety told CNN.

No charges have been filed against the man, Kennard said. The man’s name wasn’t given.

It was the man’s mother who called the Harris County Sheriff’s Department about her son, Kennard said. “All the information she had heard led to him.”

A red pickup truck was parked at the spot where deputies took the person in custody, according to video shot by CNN affiliate KTRK. Authorities had said the suspect drove away from the shooting in a red Ford Ranger.

The suspect shot Deputy Darren H. Goforth, 47, while the deputy was filling up his patrol car at a Chevron station just after 8:30 p.m. (9:30 p.m. ET), Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said.

“Deputy Goforth was refueling his vehicle and returning to his car from inside the convenience store when, unprovoked, a man walked up behind him and literally shot him to death.”

Goforth was shot multiple times from behind and then fell to the ground, where the suspect shot the deputy multiple times again, said Deputy Thomas Gilliland, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

Goforth, a 10-year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, died at the scene.
