Christina Milian’s sister, Danielle Milian, suffered a tragic loss earlier today, as her infant son, born in the early hours of Wednesday morning, passed away just hours after his birth. The reality star shared an excited message once her baby was born, noting that he was ready to take on the odds of a condition he was already facing:
Unfortunately, shortly after Danielle’s son entered the world, he passed away from complications due to a condition he was diagnosed with while in the womb. Via USweekly:
Richie was diagnosed with omphalocele — a life-threatening condition where organs form outside the body — during an ultrasound in March.
“The tech said, ‘I can’t see the sex…because I am seeing…intestines,'” the Christina Milian Turned Up star recalled, explaining that her son’s stomach, gallbladder, spleen, and liver could be seen outside his torso. “I was told there’s almost a 53 percent chance of mortality.”
Doctors advised Milian and her husband, Richard Dickerson, to terminate the pregnancy — but they decided to give their baby boy a chance at life.
“I said to [Richard], ‘Could you live with this?’ Because I know can. I know I could be in a hospital every day,” she told Us. “As a mother, I will do whatever it takes for my child…No matter how long he has in this world, I could not imagine taking his chance away.”
However despite her determination, Richie wasn’t able to survive outside the womb. Danielle shared a mournful message to Instagram letting everyone know her son wasn’t able to beat the odds.

Bulls Baller Derrick Rose is in the hot seat today, as a new lawsuit filed by one of his former girlfriends alleges that at the end of their two-year relationship, the player lured her to his home, laced her drink with a drug, and eventually forced her to have sex with him and two of his friends. Derrick Rose is being sued by a woman who claims the NBA superstar and two of his friends drugged and gang raped her.
The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, says she and Rose dated from 2011 to 2013. During that time, Rose allegedly tried to pressure her to masturbate in front of him, allow him to have sex with her friends and engage in group sex with strangers, all of which she says she refused.
Rose’s accuser says the two continued to date until August 2013, when Rose and two friends, Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton (who is also Rose’s personal manager), invited her to Rose’s Beverly Hills house. She says there, they slipped a drug into her drink with the aim of raping her.
The plaintiff says she escaped the house with a friend, but later that night, Rose and his friends broke into her apartment and gang raped her while she was incapacitated. She says she remembers only “flashes” of the incident, but can remember the defendants forcibly raping her.
She claims she waited for two years to file the suit because she was “ashamed and embarrassed” of what happened and concerned her “conservative family” would find out.
She wants unspecified damages.We’ve reached out to an attorney for Rose, but so far … no word back.

Breezy wasn’t quite done with the reckless tattoo session he got into the other night. The R&B crooner was feeling his head-tatt so much that he went back to add even more ink to his skull today.

Terrence Howard’s ongoing personal drama is carrying over into his professional life.
A source tells Page Six that Howard’s role in the upcoming second season of “Empire” will be scaled back because of his recent divorce drama and numerous prior allegations of domestic abuse, which have resurfaced in recent weeks.
On the music drama, the 46-year-old Oscar nominee plays Lucious Lyon, the founder and CEO of Empire Entertainment. At the end of the show’s smash first season, Lucious was arrested for murder, but according to our source, it’s more than a storyline — it’s a calculated move to keep Howard on the sidelines.
“What they are doing is two-fold,” said the source. “They have him locked up so you won’t be seeing him in as many scenes. But they are bringing in so many, and I mean so many, guest stars and cameos that the average viewer won’t realize it because there is so much going on.”
Other changes are also in store for the musical drama: Taraji P. Henson’s role as Cookie Lyon will be pushed to the forefront, the insider adds.
Howard’s off-screen drama has become hard to ignore. In recent weeks, he’s been involved in a bitter battle to have his 2012 divorce settlement with his second wife, Michelle Ghent, overturned.
Allegations of domestic abuse from his first wife Lori McCommas and ex-girlfriend May Seng Yang have also come back into the spotlight in recent weeks. Not to mention a secret divorce from his third wife, Mira Pak, which made headlines earlier this month.

Another racially diven attack has taken place in California. This time, a woman was charged by a racist White man wielding a machete, angrily shouting anti-Black sentiments.

When she moved from Alabama to Alameda County, California Dr. Nakieta Lankster never thought she’d be a victim of a hate crime, but that’s exactly what he said happened during the early morning hours of August 22.
As she sat in front of her condo just after midnight, Lankster spotted a white man staring into her car. At first, she didn’t think much of him.
“He was still on the sidewalk, so I thought maybe he was looking for somebody,” she told CLUTCH, discussing the traumatic incident for the first time. Though Lankster didn’t worry about the man at first, when he circled around the front of her vehicle, still peering into her windows, she decided to head inside her apartment.
That’s when she saw his machete. “He just started charging at me with the machete and screaming ‘F– you, Black b—h, don’t get stabbed,” Lankster recalled. After threatening her, the man then began pacing in the street while yelling, “F–k Black Lives Matter,” before advancing on Lankster again.
“I hopped in my car. I’ve never moved that fast in my life,” she said, still shaken up days later.
Lankster drove to a shopping center down the street from her condo and called the police. Within minutes, several officers from the San Leandro Police Department arrived and took the man down.
Even though Lankster had never seen the man, police informed her that he is actually one of her neighbors. And it seems he really didn’t like her living on his block…Lankster says that even as police were cuffing him, he continued to hatefully stare her in the eye.
SMH! Thankfully she made it out of this incident unharmed, because this could have gone even further left very quickly.

When I was married that list got dropped and I believe that was him [my ex-husband].Then when I started doing [Real] Housewives people started digging, and it came back up. One guy doesn’t even exist in life, they said it was an NFL guy named Chauncey Phillips. So they mixed Chauncey Billups with Sean Phillips and made up a name. The reason why I know where it came from is because my ex asked me, ‘were you with a guy named this’ and he doesn’t really know sports. That same list then appeared with that name on it. It was hurtful.”

Kim Kardashian is finally having that second child she worked so hard for, but still isn’t out of the woods with her fertility issues. The reality star recently revealed that with any further issues, she may have to shut down shop for good after giving birth to her son with Kanye. Via HollywoodLife:
The mom-to-be had no problem sharing the frightening issues surrounding her long-awaited second pregnancy. During the interview with C Magazine, she was asked about the possibility of a third child.
Kim stated, “Well, they think I’ll have placenta accreta again, so if the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed, which is a little scary for me.” She went on to say, “I think we’re just gonna go day by day, see how overwhelming it is, and see how the delivery goes.” So scary.
The KUWTK star also discussed how grueling it was spending a year trying to get pregnant. “It doesn’t seem like that to me, though. It was over a year of trying, and I had so many complications. I had this condition called placenta accreta. There were a couple of little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus, which I think made it really tough to get pregnant again.”
“It was a long road. I would go to the doctor in Beverly Hills every day at five in the morning to get tested to see if I was ovulating,” Mrs. West stated. “I was trying everything: I did acupuncture and got a nutritionist to eat healthier, thinking that was an issue.”
Yikes, that has to be difficult. Hopefully Kim won’t have too many issues this time around and can keep all her lady parts exactly where they are.

Derrick Rose and his attorney are coming out swinging against the ex-girlfriend who sued him for allegedly drugging and gang raping her — saying she’s repeatedly tried to squeeze him for money.
Lisa Cohen, a rep for Rose’s legal team, tells TMZ Sports the lawsuit is “an attempt to shake down a highly respected and successful athlete.”
Cohen adds the plaintiff and the Chicago Bulls superstar were in a “non-exclusive, consensual sexual relationship for over two years” … and there were never any complaints until lawyers started telling her to go after Rose for a payday. Cohen claims this is the third attorney the plaintiff hired to sue Rose.
TMZ Sports broke the story … the plaintiff — going as Jane Doe in the suit — claims Rose and 2 friends drugged her, then broke into her apartment and gang raped her while she was out of it. She says she waited 2 years to come forward because of embarrassment.
Cohen says, “We have complete confidence that the case will be dismissed and that Mr. Rose will be vindicated. This lawsuit is outrageous.”

One student was left dead at Savannah State University late last night…

Shots rang out on Savannah State University’s campus Thursday, with one student killed and the university placed on lockdown.
The shooting, which occurred at the SSU Student Union building, was sparked by an altercation, the university said in a statement.
Christopher Starks, a junior from the metro Atlanta area, died in the shooting, the school said. At this point, no arrests have been made.
The campus was put on lockdown following the shooting. The lockdown order was later lifted.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is handling the investigation, with the SSU Police Department assisting, the university said. Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact police.
Friday’s classes will be delayed until 10 a.m. and grief counselors will be made available.

The family of the gunman who murdered two journalists on live TV knew he was gay, but didn’t agree with it, a relative told BOSSIP.
James Flanagan said the family tolerated his cousin Vester Flanagan Jr’s sexuality, but didn’t support it.
“I don’t think too many families are cool with that, they accept that,” Flanagan told BOSSIP Friday from his home in Vallejo, Ca. “That ain’t the way it’s supposed to be, and when you go against the good man’s wishes…what is it? Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.”
Vester Flanagan gunned down his two ex-colleagues, reporter Alison Parker, 24, and camera operator Adam Ward, 27, during a live shot Aug. 26 in Virginia, before killing himself.
Flanagan, 82, said he last talked to Vester three or four months ago, and he never spoke of feeling targeted in the workplace because of his race and sexual orientation. Flanagan said his cousin seemed normal and didn’t appear to be unhinged.
“I’ve never seen him come out like that,” the Korean War veteran told BOSSIP. “I never saw him blow up like that. You never really can tell what’s on a person’s mind.”
The cousin said he believed Vester snapped.
“I don’t think nothing like this is planned, it just hits you,” Flanagan said.
Still, he conceded that he might have missed warning signs from his troubled relative.
“As far as I know, he was normal like everybody else,” Flanagan said. “I couldn’t see what was on the inside. You see what’s on the outside.”
“The only thing we can say, something went wrong,” Flanagan added. “Where? We can’t say. I guess nobody will ever know.”
